Moxxie’s name being “Moxie”, meaning “force of character, determination and/or nerve” fits him so fucking well. 

Regardless of whether Crimson named him (to reflect the “moxie” of being in the mafia and having what it takes to be a mafia) or his mother (knowing that he will need to have that in order to live his life), he embodies it.

It doesn’t matter if his personality is gentler and more timid than most imps, it doesn’t matter if he’s insecure in some things or hesitant in others. Moxxie chooses every single day to live his life according to what he believes. He doesn’t let others’ opinions or the environment change him or his values. 

Moxxie will live and love in accordance with what he believes is right and will let nothing change that.

And him just doing that much defies Crimson and everything he stands for.

Crimson, who was literally so insecure that he killed his own wife for daring to nurture Moxxie and in doing so, defying him and his way of life.

Crimson, who lost pretty much everything because of his desperate need to control his son and everything around him, which also led to him getting conned by a complete tool.

imagine an au where shen yuan transmigrates into a blank slate npc with very little system involvement, traveling around for a while until he's found by yue qingyuan and taken back to the sect because apparently shen qingqiu went missing around his transmigration period and shen yuan looks exactly like him, so it must be him, but then a few weeks later when he's just settled in on the peak and accepted his fate the real shen qingqiu shows up who was just on vacation and everyone forgot.

now there are two shen qingqiu's, one of whom is the real one and the other an amnesiac they gaslighted into believing he is shen qingqiu.

this is from "dreamscaperers", and apparently ford had been dreaming about the cipher wheel for weeks before he even found the cave. enough times that he was even able to perfectly draw the wheel on the journal. bill didnt even know about ford yet.

I'm literally so obsessed with the fact that Shang Qinghua and Shen Qingqiu married the most extreme versions of each other

like, I'm pretty sure that people have already brought this up, but Shang Qinghua and Luo Binghe have the same, "I'm just a little guy, you wouldn't hurt a little guy, would you?" pathetic, pitiful, crybaby aura (even though Binghe is a lot more selective with it lol)
