aaagh i love them too so so much they get SOO original <33 like yea gimme more worldbuilding. i honestly might end up writing it cause it's just such a fun idea. literally just me doing a bunch of dothraki worldbuilding.

if you're curious the idea behind the hypothetical fanfic is "the tale of the shaman who brought spring" and the crux of it is about a longgg long winter and how it is eventually broken. because like come on the whole white walkers thing is westeros-centric but the rest of the world ALSO experiences out of whack seasons and they must have ways to deal with that. not everything can be about this one continent, there's several more. hence the titular shaman's journey and success to bring spring.

the entire idea came to me when i was neck-deep in reading about central asian shamanistic folklore so i bet if i end up writing it i could do a pages-long bibliography of what certain elements were inspired by. and there'd be several overly specific old hungarian elements. obviously. i'm already planning on the main character having six fingers duh.
