What if GIW was created by Justice League

to answer the never ending calls for help?

I mean, it would be more believable then JL just ignoring it, right? (Black out, blocked off and isolated Amity park - no complaints, you’re doing great sweetie)

Maybe they’re different than what is seen in the show, but what if? They’d definitely hide their actual goals, and try to set the narrative, benefiting them. Maybe while they were formed, the government somehow affected the recruitment and its legal purpose (idk how to word it any other way, bear with me here), so GIW doesn’t turn out how JL expected?

Like, the main thing is the League knows about the problem and thinks it’s being handled, completely blinded by the GIW doing everything to JL from paying more than a glance towards Amity park. Possibly even gently swayed by the GIW , who’re being careful to give just enough info to make JL to draw their own conclusions, but not too much to alert the League of their less then moral goals and methods

Infinitely upset with the fact the mobile game has a different Jiang Cheng designs than any other adaptation. And I'm kinda in love with them for a few reasons... It's not really how I picture him in my head at all cause ive grown used to tight bun, sasuke bangs

but your telling me I could have had:

Bitchy High Ponytail Jiang Cheng a. I am a sucker for long hair (even if technically his og design is super long like everyone else, its just tied up tightly. tho points for it dramatically coming undone in the donghua) b. This man already swishes around dramatically enough with his whip and robes, imagine the added affect of a long ass ponytail. c. This gives him a visual parallel to Jin Ling's design which.... adorable. Copying his jiujiu.

Wears his Hair Exactly Like His Father Did Jiang Cheng a. Narratively fitting. Jiang Cheng trying to fit in to his role of sect leader before he was able to fully grow up into his own person. Emulating his father even in style, cause he never felt like he truly earned his approval as the heir to Yunmeng Jiang or as a leader which leads us to b. 🚨! Daddy Issues Alarm 🚨! The common thread tying together how mxtx treats all her well-rounded character across all her works is that a character's past is as real as their actions. That means that a character's tragic past is a key part of their character and should be considered while analyzing them. It also means that their actions are also their own and must be considered when analyzing them. One does not negate the other. The trauma that a character experiences in the narrative is not erased by their shitty actions, but those experiences also don't redeem their immoral behavior. Everyone must live with the consequences of their chosen actions, regardless of what drove them to make those choices. That is the lesson.

Something something coincidental petty revenge on the Jin Clan by taking the heir.#sadly I don't think it would make as much of a wave as one might think. Every action jc takes. Is in the name of his loves ones' safety. And surprise. wwx is one of the people jc really cares about #Even after wwx' return. Aside a broken cup. jc isn't doing much to stop wwx or anything. Jason hadn't been interested in figuring out who his soulmate was the last three loops, but beating up the pretender didn't have the same appeal as it used to. He hadn't even realised he was in a loop until he got the zeta notification to let him know who was coming and going from the tower via zeta. The little bird was a bit too roughed up to be awake, much less use the zetas by himself. So he took a gamble and confirmed that he was definitely in a loop.

Now, on day 5, he was becoming curious. Everything he knew about how soulmates worked was that (1) you could have anywhere from no soulmates to 10, (2) you can have both platonic and romantic soulmates, (3) you and your soulmate have to be in a 10 foot radius of each other to start the first loop, and (4) the time loops lasted until you and your soulmate (or soulmates if more than one was in the vicinity the day the loops started) confirmed soulmate status.

The loops started when he woke at 7:30 am and ended at roughly 10:30 - midnight. Depending on if he went to sleep before midnight hit. So this should be easy. He just needed to retrace his steps from the day the loops started. Right. Easy.

Thinking abt Jessica Cruz and the ability to overcome great fear again

#everybody including canon: omg hal is the greatest lantern kyle is the best etc. etc.#HOWEVER OKAY. my vision.....#with like 15 to 20 years of our time i could expand on stuff and give her THE character arc okay #like im just saying yellow lantern jess arc could ACTUALLY be so good bc i would do it as a way to bring her back to the corps stronger and #better and more assured #in herself because like its not about NOT being afraid is about OVERCOMING it and bravery isnt the absence of fear but action in spite of it #et cetera et cetera #like okay i was kidding when i said i think shed be more powerful than kyle or hal #because theyre both totally overpowered in their own way ofc with hal's willpower abilities at like insane levels and kyle's command of the #emotional spectrum being what it is et cetera #BUT. jess has such an interesting relationship with the ring and BEING a green lantern and its like i want to go deeper with that. like down #to the center of the earth deeper. because i feel like shes a character that would have such a great connection to being a lantern and would #especially be the one to embody the 'overcome great fear' phrase at its core #also like THE RELATIONSHIP SHE HAS TO BEING A LANTERN-#all the lanterns have interesting relationships to the corps or what it means to be a gl but for me jess's is just SOOOOOO compelling and #rich and just. being a lantern saved her life. becoming a lantern GAVE her her life BACK. on multiple levels!!!#like quite literally bc of the fact that volthoom died in her body before she got the ring but like before she became a gl she wasn’t living #a life at least not socially. even when she was power ring i still doubt HIGHLY that she even really left the watchtower when not on mission #because like. they glossed over it but the power ring doesnt come off. she was always like that and even with her control over it always a #little primed to blow and i think that's something jess was aware of even if the rest of the jl wasn't as much #bc she like was always reminded of how precarious her power over the power ring could be like it said HORRIBLE things to her all the time!!!#like on power it would be just calling her names like verbal abuse #so even while she had control over the ring it was a tenuous sort of precarious state and she was very aware of that!!!#and i feel like thats what it often comes down to for jess: control. i think its a key part of her character that she desires that sort of #control over herself and her fear due to feeling a lack of it for so long. and THATS why i think that yellow lantern jess has SO much #potential bc it has a huge chance to explore her relationship with the concept of control and harken back to her origin and early days as a #hero.#gosh i went on a tangent here but yeah. I need people to realize that any care shown by JC does not somehow wash away his shittiness. It's the equivalent of telling a battered woman her husband obviously cares and loves her because he kisses her on the way out the door (never mind her face is black and blue). If an abuser makes a nice gesture, he's still an abuser. 🤷🏽‍♀️

People excuse child abuse in a way they wouldn’t domestic abuse* because they do not see children as full people. Jiang Cheng smacking Jin Ling around is a hard line only for some readers, but quite a few others would feel perfectly alright with marking Jiang Cheng as a great guardian if the physical abuse never occurred, even as we watch him verbally and emotionally abuse Jin Ling before the first hit lands in canon. Just watch how they downplay Jiang Cheng’s abuse of Wei Wuxian because it’s “just words” that they can brush off. “All bark and no bite” they call him, ignoring how those words clearly make Wei Wuxian never want to be around Jiang Cheng again. “All bark and no bite” they call him, despite the fact that Jin Ling constantly runs away from Jiang Cheng because of those words. Idk, sounds like the bark comes with a lot of bite.

*people will only admonish domestic abuse in hypothetical situations, cause if people actually cared about physical violence between partners, it would not be socially acceptable to discuss the ways in which people “acceptably” physically abuse their partners to “keep them in line,” much like how people discuss children. This is a gender- and sexuality-neutral observation.

The Justice League crossover part one was fucking stupid and badly done. Badly animated. Poorly executed. Nothing was thought out and a ton of the exposition is just the writers MAKING FUN of their own worldbuilding.

I can already see how much worse part two is going to be - not to mention I'm not looking forward to all the 'not a faunus in this universe' jokes and references and BS that Blake gets. Or how much of her "personality" changes without the ears.

But you know what?

Both of these are still better than volume 9!

And even with the weird fucking TWIST at the end of the first JL crossover movie, even with the weird romance bs from the adults turned into teenagers flirting with people who think they are still teenagers, it STILL makes more sense than volume 9! It still will probably me MORE TOLERABLE.

Which god doesn't that just say something.

"Name one good thing about V9".

The tree. The concept of that tree is fucking phenomenal. Everything else is so badly executed, stiff, and stupid that I think Ruby Rose and Clark Kent having bad jokes about Blake missing her ears is going to be better. (THEY DIDN'T EVEN GIVE HER HUMAN EARS IN HER DESIGN. THEY COULDN'T BOTHER TO CHANGE HER HAIR EVEN SLIGHTLY. THEY ALL HAVE DIFFERENT HAIR, EVEN FUCKING RUBY BUT NOT BLAKE! FUCK BLAKE!)

And I think all the JL characters are ugly as sin and out of character as hell in these movies. I think the person closest to in character is Clark and that's because he's decently similar to his My Adventures with Superman self.

Also turning Batman into a faunus was still stupid as fuck and didn't work! At all! Holy SHIT do these movies miss the point of fucking everything.

AND THEYRE STILL BETTER THAN V9. Every last little detail about these stupid, unnecessary, god awfully done movies, with their bad character design and worse stories, is better than every fucking episode of V9.

And I would take ten more of these god awful movies over whatever fucking bad bullshit V10 would be after Shawcross realized he could just make shit up as he went and his fans would lap it up as long as he remembered to distract them with badly animated sapphics and the existence of Qrow Branwen.
