hiiiiii! i want to be able make money. but i am too young to be able to get a real job at like starbucks or mcdonald’s so do you have any tips?
HOW TO GET A JOB WHEN YOU'RE UNDER 18 YEARS OLD (especially if under 16)
Hiii gorgeous, I totally understand how you are feeling . I've found myself in your position a couple of years ago and sometimes these doubts still come up, but you are younger and finding a job it's indeed harder, so here's what I would do!
First of all You need to understand that you don't need to make the big bucks for an entire family, you just need enough to use as an allowance! Then you need to know what type of job you want, is it remote or a more present like? Based on this I'll list some jobs you can do!
୨୧IN PERSON JOBS୨୧:
cashier
gardening
dog sitting
baby sitting( I suggest you to start with your mom's or aunt friends to find clients and you need to be responsable)
shop assistant
waitress
bubble tea shop
homework helper
Hair salon assistant or receptionist
୨୧REMOTE JOBS୨୧
call center
graphic design
roblox artists
video editor
photo editor
freelance writer
You can have an etsy shop where you sell stickers or handmade products, this takes me to the next section:
୨୧BUSINESS / OWNING A SHOP୨୧
In case you don't want to ask your parents for founds I suggest you to first do the in person jobs as they garanteen a more stable income, just like I mentioned before you can use platforms like etsy or depop to sell your own product, you can sell ahndmade bracelet, jewelry, candles and anything creative!
୨୧BEAUTY RELATED JOBS୨୧
nail tech
Lash tech
Lip gloss seller
Bedazzled stuff
Strip lashes seller
Press on nails seller
Keychains seller
More infos:
influencing in this age it's considered a job too, but you need to be consistent and know what you want to publish while still preserving your own privacy. Luckily you can influence without having to show your face and make great content without looking like the classical influencer!
Hope I helped xoxo gourgeous!

mary macdonald headcanons
her favorite color is pink
favorite fruits are cherries and she has cherry scented everything (perfumes, shampoos, lotions, cherry flavored lip balm and lip gloss)
always got up the earliest out of her dorm mates just to get ready and do her hair and make up. the other girls made fun of her for it
was the closest with marlene and remus throughout her years at hogwarts, got closer to sirius in 3rd year. she liked talking to lily too but they only got really close during their last two years
dated sirius in 4th through 5th year. was one of the only people to keep talking to him post prank despite being close with remus (she had no reason not to bc she didn't even know what the fight was about)
an average student. she only studied the subjects she liked and was interested in and got passing grades in the ones she didn't care for
very aesthetically pleasing handwriting and notes, although she cared more about making them look neat than actually writing down all of the important information
chubby arms. soft tummy. soft chubby thighs. stretch marks hhhh
leaves her room looking like the aftermath of a category 5 hurricane when she gets ready. has to try on at least 5 outfits before she leaves and ends up going with the first one she tried on anyway
always experimenting with her hair and trying new hairstyles, but just letting her natural hair down remains her favorite
favorite drinks are pink gin and tonic and red vodka
gets tipsy pretty easily but it takes a lot to get her actually drunk
had a camera she carried around at all times and took candid photos of her friends. she was also one of the editors of the school newspaper and took photographs for it at events like quidditch matches
wears exclusively gold jewelry. it's not a complete outfit if she isn't wearing gold hoop earrings

have been feeling listless and unmoored re: sims stuff lately, but i got a healthy dose of inspiration from @warwickroyals & @prydainroyals this past week, so i did a little succession / magazine-ish thing :^) obviously beatriz's 2023 death would be commemorated in uspanian vogue !!!!! obviously !!!!
transcribed text below:
Fashion is a Royal (and Family) Affair
That Crown Princess Barbie is a student of Uspanian style isn’t a surprise. For this issue, she recounts the historical episode at the heart of our memorial for the late Queen Beatriz. Pictured above in private photos are: Mother Desideria in 1860; Mother Zuriñe in 1885; Mother Rowena and then-Crown Prince Alfonso in 1926.
THE “BIRDIE” ISSUE OF VOGUE USPANA debuted in 1973. At the time, the magazine was in its infancy. An issue shaped by the queen—and it was, from cover to cover, driven by her desires and presence—ensured longevity. It proved to be a bestseller. Clothes, too, flew off the racks as Uspana’s designers received a boost among popular consumers. A textiles renaissance commenced among women of a certain class who had been looking elsewhere for quality fabric. Then and now, this was the mission of the magazine: loyalty to Uspanian fashion. The Birdie issue was a testament to this, from the sensibilities it imparted to the sourcing of its materials. The queen’s favorite designers, stylists, and photographers filled the issue; it made them iconic, and they would continue to set national trends for decades to come. More importantly, the Birdie issue fit into a larger project underway during Beatriz’s reign. Foreign fashion’s creep into the Uspanian mainstream had started two centuries before Beatriz obtained the Crown, but it reached its cultural apex under the sway of her mother. Uspana’s people had long reviled Queen Rowena’s taste in one breath and wished to emulate it in the second. The two women were not seemingly opposed in a diametric sense. They overlapped under the label of “extravagant,” namely, but Beatriz was forgiven her excess. The Birdie issue, in retrospect, shows why. In an initial meeting with the queen, she told then-editor Lluc Soler that she cared deeply about a “revival” of traditional fashion in the country. Soler replied that traditional fashion was alive and well—“in the mountains, with the grandmothers.” Some in the annals have suggested that this retort led to control of the issue being ceded informally to a team with whom the queen preferred to work. (By 1975, Papan Ibarra had risen from those ranks to become the magazine’s new editor-in-chief, a position she occupied until 1991.) Nonetheless, a certain truth in Soler’s statement formed the foundation of the issue. It did draw heavy inspiration from those grandmothers in the mountains. This included people such as the queen’s own grandmother, Mother Zuriñe, who readily embraced the aesthetics of Yaas and was a master weaver in her own right. The cover reflected the elevated homage orchestrated within. On it, Birdie herself posed in a wool rebozo hand-dyed with cochineal. This garment was a perfect duplicate of the so-called suncloths the queen’s great-grandmother, Mother Desideria, wore on a regular basis in the late nineteenth century. Fittingly, it was also topped with a replica inspired by the time. One of the many jewelry pieces destroyed during the 1880s had been the Shield Flower tiara with its red fire opal set in gold and symbolic allusions to the sacrifice and self-immolation of Uspana’s founding mothers. Queen Beatriz wore tiaras on many occasions, but it was widely known that she preferred to wear the true Uspanian symbol of elite regalia: the jade necklace. For that reason, jade

I swear, the AAs seem allergic to facts and truths. Even Screenrant is unreliable as the authors over there aren’t overseen by adequate editors for factchecking. More, if someone decides to have a different opinion and speak up, they’re smacked down and shoved back into obedience, back into the party line.
Point out Jensen is unhappy and you’re accused of hating him or jealous of Danneel. Point out examples and you’re gaslighted by then saying it’s how they “banter” and “tease each other”. Point out fake photos or zero chemistry and it’s the same thing.
Jensen and Danneel must be perfect. Must be a successful power couple, despite the fact that The Winchesters bombed and was canceled due to poor ratings and being over budget. (And then they try to say “See?? Walker sucked because it was canceled”, despite being under budget and highly rated—why else would CBS keep him??) Not to mention unsafe set and the lawsuit against the Ackles. CMP has yet to produce anything and likely will never. Failed business. FBBC is gone; distribution is all that’s left and barely that. Danneel’s jewelry line was a joke, as was her modeling career. She hasn’t landed an acting job that wasn’t through nepotism in years.
But say that and I’m labeled a hater against Jensen, despite my concern that this is happening and everyone turns a blind eye.
I’m called crazy. A psycho. Delusional.
I have evidence backing me up. They do not.

HISTORY
the harder you run from something, the tighter the marionette strings will pull you back. zeynep had dreamt of leaving Red Creek from the moment she could wish for something different. born into a big family in a small town, her ambitions had always felt too big. too big for the small body that longed for bustling cities, too big that when she voiced them to adults, they’d laugh. sometimes, those dreams felt so big that zeynep wondered if any of it would ever be possible. cheeky and always armed with a charming smile, she had grown up well-liked, popular even. it wouldn’t be unreasonable to assume she thought everyone was just a little bit in love with her. after all, she was a teenage girl who knew that a pretty smile and a little charm could get you almost anywhere. she worked hard for her grades, and it paid off when she got a full ride to stanford university. though it was a tense decision, zeynep had ultimately gotten what she wanted—California, the promise of something more. for four years, she networked, partied, and worked her way through undergrad. that was until graduation, when everything came crashing down. she never told anyone why she returned to red creek, but for a while, she would flinch every time the doorbell rang. she’d glance nervously over her shoulder, her heart racing whenever the red and blue flashing lights of a patrol car passed by. if anyone asked, she simply claimed she was tired of being stuck writing the kind of brainless columns no one would ever read. zeynep tried to convince everyone, herself included, that returning to red creek was her decision, one she had made, not one forced upon her by circumstance. now, six years later, she is married with a five-year-old daughter who was an absolute hellion. she has worked her way up the ranks at the register and has stopped looking over her shoulder. everything seemed to have settled down, until the disappearances began again. the names of the missing and the dead were no longer just distant, legendary tales of people she barely remembered. daniela, kirby—these were names she knew. how long before there was a target on her back, or the backs of her family? zeynep can’t help but see the eerie parallels between what was happening now and what had happened all those years ago. but for the sake of her family, she’s keeping quiet. for now.

Is It Gender Play?: A Case Study in Masculine Presentation in Fashion
So first off I want to start by saying that this is about the clothing and it is not about Oliver. These items were chosen by a stylist to serve the aesthetic of ABookOf. He is indirectly involved because he happens to be the one wearing them, his presence does have an effect as this takes on the perspective that he is as far as I know, a cis man. The clothes are the material and in this case he is the canvas– which still has an effect on the artwork at the end but is not manipulated. I am going to be using a feminine, center, masculine approach to this because it’s the best way I can conceptualize this clearly, not because that's how gender and presentation works. Got it? Cool! Let's go!
ABookOf is a Arts & Culture publication that focuses on storytelling that has a bright and fun aesthetic that is not directly but in the vein of Camp. As a part of their mission statement they state that they strive to highlight “Your brand, your stories, your journey and your talent…through the artistic eyes of our team and collaborators…”
This ensemble curated by Andrew Philip Nguyen, Fashion Editor of ABookOF, is a look that plays with pattern and masculinity.
The bold orange shirt that has a slight pattern on it, that is indecipherable at the moment. This appears to be a traditional button up, styled with a red polka dot ribbon. This is what pulls it toward the center in terms of presentation as it evokes that of a traditionally feminine pussy bow blouse while also resembling a traditionally masculine tie. The other styling choice that adds to the mixture is that it is unbuttoned revealing the white undershirt.
The other attention grabbing piece in this ensemble are the boots. They are a traditionally masculine combat boot style that has been adopted by various “deviant” subcultures aesthetic closet. What pulls attention and them more center is the bright color because bright yellow is not a usual color for shoes, for either end of the spectrum. The height of them is also eye-catching and pulls them into the subversive category as they are taller than the traditional boot and are aligned with subcultures. On a side note I love that they seem to be either Doc Martens or reminiscent of them in their design as a nod to Oliver’s origins, which connects their strive to highlight their interviewee’s story and attention to detail when selecting items for their photoshoots.
The bracelet is also traditionally masculine, and while jewelry is historically present across all genders, in combination with all the other pieces in this ensemble it adds to the playing toward center and the definitions of masculine fashion that the look is making a statement on.
The pants are deceivingly simple. Upon first glance they are the least interesting piece in the ensemble but they are one of the grounding pieces of the look. If they were plain black pants, it would all still work, but be far less intriguing. They add yet another pattern and texture to the entire ensemble that creates the Camp aesthetic that ABookOf seems to have curated.
In a nutshell, each of these items fall into the “traditionally masculine” category when stripped to their bare bones, it is the unique way they are styled and presented that pulls them center. This ensemble is an exploration of masculine presentation that slightly challenges the greater societal expectations of masculine fashion. The boundaries of which have been softening, especially in magazine photo shoots, over the past two or three years. So to answer the simple question of is this Gender Play? No, it is masculine presentation on a masculine body that falls into the family of Camp and breaks societal norms and traditions.

🎨#ArtIsAWeapon @cultured_mag featured fearless artist @asherald and master musician @jonbatiste for its Winter 2024 Artists on Artists issue. Photo by @danascruggs.
Image and caption reposted from @cultured_mag This winter, CULTURED presents our inaugural Artists on Artists issue. An ode to unfettered creativity, bold experimentation, and collaboration, this edition includes a trio of cover conversations between figures—from filmmakers to painters and musicians—who are committed to illuminating our strange, uncertain moment...
It’s been a busy year for the history-making painter and musician. Amy Sherald just opened “American Sublime,” her mid-career survey and largest exhibition yet, at the @sfmoma; while Jon Batiste returned to his classical roots with his recent album “Beethoven Blues,” which presents modern renditions of the canonical composer’s works.
Despite their sweeping impacts on contemporary culture, both artists—shot by @danascruggs in Sherald’s New Jersey studio—are careful to protect the delicate filament, that “pure thing,” at the heart of their work. “When you’re in that flow state, sometimes you forget how you got to the end result. I feel like a vessel. I work hard so I can then be in the moment like a kid,” Batiste tells Sherald. “It’s like a trance,” the painter adds. “The ideas come, and I do what I’m told.”
To read the full conversation between Amy Sherald and Jon Batiste and [order] your copy of the Artists on Artists issue, head to the link in bio.
Amy wears a dress by @gabrielahearst, earrings by @davidyurman, and bracelets and a ring by @vancleefarpels. Jon wears a suit, shirt, and tie by @ysl; ring by @cartier; and shoes by @louboutinworld. Additional jewelry is musician’s own.

Explaining one of VTMB paintings (pt 6)
WOMAN AND BEAR, lithographic poster in colors 1902 by Alphonse Mucha.
Alfons Maria Mucha (internationally known as Alphonse Mucha 24 July 1860 – 14 July 1939) was a Czech painter, illustrator, and graphic artist, living in Paris who was part of the Art Nouveau period, best known for his distinctly stylized and decorative theatrical posters, particularly those of the very famous French actress Sarah Bernhardt. Mrs. Bernhardt was not the model used in Woman and Bear. He produced illustrations, advertisements, decorative panels, as well as designs, which became among the best-known images of the period[1].
Art Nouveau is an international style of art idea was to break down the traditional distinction between fine arts (especially painting and sculpture) and applied arts. It was most widely used in interior design, graphic arts, furniture, glass art, textiles, ceramics, jewelry and metal work. After 1910 Art Nouveau appeared old-fashioned and limited and was generally abandoned as a distinct decorative style. In the 1960s, however, the style was rehabilitated, in part, by major exhibitions organized at the Museum of Modern Art in New York (1959) and at the Musée National d’Art Moderne (1960), as well as by a large-scale retrospective on Beardsley held at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London in 1966. [2] This 1960s PSYCHEDELIC ART NOUVEAU was used by many band for their poster and used art nouveau art works but with more saturated and vibrant colors rather than the soft color pallet these works initially had.
