Agatha All along S01E07
Tumblr media
I loved being a witch
All the rumors were true. This was the best episode of the season so far, and Lilia was a side character like Billy. However, this episode wasn't boring, not even one bit.
We got to know Lilia's past, and at the same time, we navigated loss, sorrow, and the fear of death. And we finish with acceptance. It was a beautiful episode.
I love it when nonlinear episodes are done properly.
The last scene when Lilia takes out the coven by herself was amazing.
We always gonna love you, Lilia. I can't believe we're three divas down. Jane, get behind me. Billy, get right in front of me.
Wanda almost took down the whole world looking for her kids, and this ungrateful child just said "She's not my mom. I have a mom". When I put my hands on you Billy. This is why being a boy mom is not recommended.
And fuck Funko Pop too, now that we're at it. Rio's revelation was really cool. It'd have been such a gag. They planned all that amazing look just to be spoiled like that.
I just wish Rio wasn't played by Aubrey Plaza, maybe I'd like her more. And yes, this is me coming out as a Aubrey Plaza disliker.
But anyway, Imagine you are literally The death and this person somehow encounters you and she's not afraid and actually loves you. That explains why she is so down for Agatha.
I will miss Lilia, but I'd like to point out how beautiful her death was. Jac handled that with such care and dignity. This is how you give closure to a character before letting them go.
On another note:
I don't think Agatha had to top Lilia like that, she almost called Agatha a slur. Also, doing all that while dressed as Elphaba and Glinda.
Jen has the best one-liners "Damn, using his government name"
Jac did Jane dirty with that costume.
Billy and Agatha trying to read the carts had me rolling.
I can't believe next week is the finale. I need five more seasons.

I have to admit I'm impressed with how awful a father CRWBY made Taiyang while giving him a veneer of reasonability.
To the point that his ability to just spout off things reminds me of an Aunt and Uncle who have no idea just how badly they are painting themselves.
As in - when he makes a judgement call about how Yang lost her arm that fits it into his "Over dependence on his semblance" it's incredibly telling about him not ever actually asking anyone about what happened.
It means he never talked to Yang about it, or even you know offered because while Yang wouldn't have said everything she'd probably have said a little.
Or talked to any of the students who probably got information about what happened from Blake when she dragged Yang to safety. Which wouldn't have been much but probably included the fact that Blake was attacked by someone, Yang intervened.
Given that students presumably died when Beacon fell and that Yang was a first year student... Like by itself, Yang being alive enough for a teammate to save her is a victory.
Nevermind context of her going up against someone that fought Blake, who came back injured herself, and Adam probably did get ID as going around killing students. So the fact that Yang was vastly outclassed would have been known, you know if Taiyang asked at all about "What happenend". Or worse - he did and still blames Yang. Like what did he expect her to do - leave Blake to die? Yang got Blake enough room to run, Blake used the opportunity to get both of them out of there but Yang bought that opportunity for Blake.
Meanwhile I'm looking forward to the Belladonnas actually talking to Yang. Because I don't think it's an accident that we didn't see said interaction before we started being shown in detail the grease fire of the Xialong Rose family.
From my perspective Tai is a rather interesting execution on the archetypical father on these fronts. IE, he's not a classic bad father the way Jac is, or the classic emotionally distant husk archetype. Yet to me, he is still 100% a big problem and done a lot of harm to Ruby & Yang with lackluster parenting & 'teaching'.
As outlined here.
I think this is one of the reasons why a lot of people struggle to actually see him as flawed even when e gets basic facts wrong.
Another reason is just how much undue credit men are given by default that women have to earn. Hence lots of people shrugging off Qrow's drinking or Ozpin's manipulation, or Ironwood's authoritarianism until they couldn't anymore.
Though being more charitable, I would also note how CRWBY often play these characters against their more traditional archetypes to help offset the audiences presumptions.
For instance,
Ozpin is a mysterious headmaster of an adventurers school but he's the 'fun' headmaster who both helps the kids go on adventures but unlike certain other headmasters sends an adult escort with them.
Or Ironwood, he's a big military hard liner who wants more tech, bigger weapons and to throw his military around. But he asks about the kids, he jokes casually, he's not just some General Ripper.
& Qrow of course is the bitter veteran and mentor, who is super badass & drinks/smokes, but in contras, he's also seemingly functional, friendly and clearly has a good rapport with his nieces.
Its easy to see why people saw those aspects and were willing to ignore things like:
Ozpin sending teenagers into terrorist dens, Ironwood backstabbing his allies while making himself out to be the victim, and Qrow's blatant dependence on alcohol to function.
Cos CRWBY made them characters & not archetypes.
So when the shit hit the fan and subtext became text, subtly problematic behavior became blatantly problematic and festering problems once seen as comedic now had real weight.
I feel Tai fits the same mold, he's on the surface 'functional', he definitely cares, and even seems to do some 'fun dad' stuff. He just also as no idea how Yang's Semblance works, & was absent or otherwise none functional for so long its left deep scars on Yang having to keep the family together & Ruby outright says Yang raised her.
He's in many ways a more realistic and nuanced portrayal of a dysfunctional or toxic parent who may not obviously have issues the way an open abuser like Jac, or an absentia parent like Raven might but can still do harm.
Also excellent breakdown on how the surrounding context of the Fall of Beacon. Team RWBY are first years, Blake is an incredibly experienced combatant, Yang had been put through the ringer. Literally everything was on fire and even people like Ozpin died.
The fact the whole team made it out at all is nothing short of a miracle. But accepting that "Sometimes bad things happen" is a surrender of power, its an admission that there was nothing to be done and that is terrifying. Especially for a man whose had two of the most important people in his life vanish on him without a trace.
He wants there to be something in Yang to blame because then there is something that can be done about it. Add in his clear and overtly stated projection of Raven onto her, and hos incoherent his reads on her personality are given Yang's addressed stuff like stubbornness & strategy well before this.
& you get a parent making being dismembers in a no win situation against a more powerful opponent the victims fault while giving vague, generalist advice to feel like they're doing something.
Gosh I want them to just adore her, and her to adore the Belladonna's.
Thanks for the ask, and good luck on that essay you mentioned, remember to tag me ;)

Started this project sometime back in 2019 & throughout the pandemic. After moving several times since then I can't find it to finish. Micro Sakura 0.003 fine liner pens on marker paper. Drawn in my personal style. Art by Jac Boles.
I was greatly inspired by the remake of voltron by Netflix & loved the fact they redid the cast to have a variety of ethnic backgrounds As a mixed person myself this ment a lot. I greatly enjoy how both live-action & animated shows are showing more representation. Yes, I agree the seasons became a lot less as the story line went on. But I felt like it was a big step up to showing the industry where we want the character development to evolve into the future.
Definitely want to see more cultural representation for each of the different ethics in all characters used in the future, along with some more happy equal expressed cultures in characters. & absolutely more representation for those out there showing disabilities or nurodivergent. Dragon Prince has a special place in my heart for how they displayed the deaf community. It was with acceptance & spoken with sighn.
I don't know if I will ever find this piece to finish it, but I at least wanted to document it in my art portfolio so I have an archive of it if I don't. Sometime in the future I would still like to remake it just to see how I can evolve my interpretation of the concept & finally see it finished.
If you enjoyed this artwork, send me a comment about what you liked. If you would like to help support my art career please throw a little at the tip jar or comment me on an artwork or chrochet/ knitting project you would like to purchase. I can also be found on Instagram at jacofart.
Edit: didn't even know it was geekend week today. But here you go.

So much of this is good. SO MUCH OF THIS IS GOOD. (It's on the longer side but every bit of it is educational)
But why does any of this matter? What’s lost when movies just become a series of memeable one-liners and action scenes that can be distilled down into a gif? What’s lost when the necessary implication of the audience in the experience of viewing a film is removed and we become merely passive consumers of moving images that stir nothing in us, that don’t engage our bodies, our hearts, our minds, or shake us from our late capitalist catatonia? Why does it matter that we now only interact with trauma narratives through prepackaged IP nuggets delivered to us neatly in a series like WandaVision (created by Jac Schaeffer, 2021), or the Halloween franchise? What’s lost when the sex scene disappears from our movies, when the very presence of sexual desire and bodily expression incites revulsion? What’s lost is our connection to one another beyond the fetters of capitalism, indeed the very thing that makes us human. What’s lost is our “sense of the real” (Telotte), the visceral and radical experiences that Verhoeven’s Hollywood films, even and especially through the persistence and abundance of sex scenes, were dedicated to recovering, all of which today’s cinema is inevitably without. What’s lost is the last thing that stands between us and the system that forever seeks to turn us into nothing more than another product.

I’ve just caught up with Casualty, thought I might as well do a little review post (though probably not as long as my usual ones).
All in all, a pretty good episode. I certainly preferred it to the previous one. Any scene with Faith in it dragged the episode down, but the other stuff was decent.
The Stevie stuff... I genuinely do not know how someone called her a Jac clone after this episode, because roughly 90% of the Stevie content here literally felt like recycled Henrik scripts. I don’t have an issue with that (and Elinor Lawless was absolutely brilliant in every scene), but, well, I keep saying Stevie’s the new Henrik and this episode was really blatant about that. She got some VERY Henrik-esque one-liners (“If you ask me how I’m doing, I swear I will not be held accountable. I am fine.” could’ve come out of Henrik’s mouth verbatim).
And of course, the whole ‘snapping at your mentee to maintain your ice-cold image and cover up for feeling weak and traumatised’ thing is incredibly Henrik. Stevie was certainly not treating Paige as badly as Henrik treated Sahira (the Henrik and Sahira stuff was just... on its own level), but fundamentally, the idea of Stevie bullying her mentee to feel like she was still in control and to avoid dealing with her own mental health problems and trauma? Again, literally the plot of the Sahira storyline.
I assume this means that, in a few years, we’ll get a retconned storyline that everyone insists is canon when it’s very blatantly not, where it’s “revealed” that Stevie and Paige knew each other as kids and Paige’s family caused Stevie some kind of trauma, and the show will be like “See? See?? It was actually Paige’s fault Stevie bullied her all along!”. Since that’s how it turned out with Henrik and Sahira.
Having said that, I am confused at why Paige said that the incident with the bodybuilder was Stevie’s fault. I’d otherwise agree with Paige’s rant at the end of the episode - Stevie did come back to work too soon, and she is being a dick to Paige - but the idea that the bodybuilder thing was Stevie’s fault is just... ????? Paige literally insisted on giving the medication without supervision? She specifically said she didn’t want Stevie there? I suppose maybe you can stretch it into “if you weren’t being so mean to me, I would’ve felt able to ask for your help” but idk.
Faith continues to be an awful, irredeemable person, and the show continues to pretend she’s a good one. What else is new. That brief moment when Elsie just snapped at her was great, but I was disappointed when she just went back to being nice to Faith right afterwards.
I am so utterly uninterested in a Faith and Iain will-they-won’t-they. This has been going on for like, a year and a half now, and it’s still not come to anything. Not that I want it to. Does anyone want this? Faith fans don’t want it because they still want her to be with Dylan (pairing Dylan, an abuse survivor, with Faith, an abuser herself, would be terrible unless the show specifically used it to do a storyline about revictimisation and Dylan being vulnerable because of his history and his low self-esteem, but they wouldn’t do that because they don’t want to admit Faith is abusive). The rest of us don’t want it because we want Faith to leave the show.
I don’t even like Iain, he’s just boring to me, but I still don’t want him with Faith. Imagine how awfully she’d react if she found out about his mental health issues. Yikes.
I’m still finding Jan’s storyline really interesting. I’m a Jan fan, always have been, so that’s not surprising. But I just really like the way they’re exploring how her job is affecting her, and the amount of stress she’s under. Di Botcher is acting it all really well, too.
I liked the variety of patients in this episode. The more patients an episode has, the more I enjoy it, it seems. I just like it when the hospital feels busy and stuff.
I did not like, however, that one of the patients was named Cameron. That name still makes me think of a certain dreadful Holby storyline.
Anyway, the day after tomorrow (as of me posting this), we get the improvised paramedic special! I’m really interested to see how that episode plays out.

JAC T6 Bakkie Gets More Power
JAC Motors South Africa has beefed up its T6 one-tonne range by adding a 2,8-litre TDI double-cab variant, consequently from customer input locally and from neighbouring countries.
The 2,8-litre four-cylinder common-rail inter-cooled turbo-charged diesel engine develops 68 kW at 3 600 r/min and 210 Nm torque between 1 800 r/min and 2 000 r/min. The powerplant connects to a five-speed manual transmission in the 4×2 and a six-speed manual transmission in the 4×4 derivative.
The T6 2.8L TDI offers a claimed fuel consumption of 7,9 l/100 km, and the 4×4 achieves 10,5 l/100 km on average.
“Over the past five years, customer feedback played an important role in our brand’s local growth. We believe the market’s need for a reliable and fuel-economical 2,8-litre turbo-diesel engine is one of those examples where we can respond with tried and tested products,” says Karl-Heinz Göbel, CEO of JAC Motors South Africa.
The new engine came as a response to requests from customers from neighbouring countries and remote parts of South Africa, with its core focus on affordability, reliability, and ease of maintenance.
The T6 2.8L TDI engine earned its workhorse credentials globally and ticked off all the boxes in terms of what the local market wants, including excellent retail price points of less than R350 000 for the 4×2 and R400 000 for the 4×4 derivative.
Fuel consumption of the engine under normal and extreme working conditions is one of its main selling points. Add to that its track record of reliability and easy and low-cost maintenance, and the car caters for big fleet owners and regular customers.
The JAC T6 has a ladder frame suspension and a double-wishbone independent front suspension with coil springs, while the 245/65 R17 tyre size of the T6 2.8L TDI improves loading performance and reduces understeer.
It has a turning radius of 6,2 metres with a ground clearance of 197 mm and a 900 kg payload, also supporting a maximum Towing Mass (Braked) of 2,000 kg.
The double-skinned load box measures 1 520 mm × 1 520 mm × 470 mm with an anti-scratch and corrosion-resistant truck bed liner.
“Our T6 bakkies are reliable all-rounders with excellent gravel-road ability, comfortable cabs, and big load boxes. The addition of the 2.8L TDI derivative, with its reliable and durable drivetrain and low maintenance cost, now offers potential customers a choice of an economical workhorse at a much lower purchase price than its double-cab competitors,” says Göbel.
Standard features include fog lamps, electrically adjustable mirrors with integrated indicator lights, running boards, alloy wheels and a style bar.
The T6 2.8L TDI features two crash bags, anti-lock braking and EBD (Electronic Brake-force Distribution). A high-mounted brake light, reverse camera, rear parking sensors and speed-sensing auto door locks are standard equipment for added safety and convenience.
Interior trimmings include power steering, a height-adjustable leather-trimmed multi-function steering wheel, air-conditioning, leather seats and power windows.
The T6 2.8L TDI 4×4 features an electronically controlled four-wheel-drive system with an approach angle of 29,6 degrees, a break-over angle of 23,5 degrees and a departure angle of 22,4 degrees.
The official retail prices of the T6 range include the company’s standard five-year/150 000 km manufacturer’s warranty and five-year/60 000 km service plan.

New JAC T8 Double-Cab Bakkie Is A Best Seller In South Africa
Tumblr media
The 2023 JAC T8 is the most advanced pick-up ever developed by JAC Motors in its 50-year history. The eye-catching T8 leads JAC Motors’ charge in the rapidly growing leisure-orientated pick-up segment. Locally, the JAC T8 line-up comprises a 4×2 and 4×4 double-cab and fits in above the T6 double-cab range.
The company introduced its pick-ups and light-duty range of trucks in the local market in 2017. Since then, the brand has grown its footprint to more than 50 dealers across South Africa.
Karl-Heinz Göbel, Chief Executive Officer of JAC Motors South Africa, says: “The new T8 bakkies arrived in South Africa before lockdown in March last year. We distributed the stock to our dealers but could not officially launch our new flagship to the market.
“The initial demand for our newcomer was excellent despite the impact of Covid-19 on car sales, and now, only one year later, the T8 is our bestseller.”
Powerful drivetrain
The all-new T8 double-cab boasts JAC Motors’ proven and reliable 1.9-litre turbo-diesel engine developed in cooperation with the German company FEV. The highly responsive common-rail diesel engine, fitted with an intercooler and Electrical Variable Geometry Turbocharger (EVGT), delivers 100 kW @ 3 600 rpm and 320 Nm torque between 1 600 to 2 600 rpm.
The powerplant is paired to a 6-speed manual transmission that effortlessly reigns in all the torque available throughout its powerband. The smooth transmission of power to the wheels ensures a relaxing driving experience. With average fuel consumption of 8 L/100 km (4×2), the 76-litre tank will give you an approximate range of 950 kilometres.
“The reliability of JAC Motors’ products is fantastic and serves as a primary motivator in our worldwide sales approach, with many customers and big transport fleets vowing for this incredible attribute,” says Göbel.
Tumblr media
Chassis configuration
The all-new T8 double-cab is based on JAC Motors’ 8th-generation international platform, which provides increased stability, safety and comfort.
The T8 features a double-wishbone independent front suspension with coil springs, resulting in superior handling and passenger comfort. It can better suppress body roll with stronger lateral rigidity, especially when your vehicle is laden or encountering severe off-road conditions.
The T8 supports a rugged ladder frame suspension, including rear integral bridge support, ensuring no job is too big for the newcomer to JAC Motors’ light commercial range.
The T8 double-cab is 5 325 mm long, 1 880 mm wide, and 1 830 mm high, with a wheelbase of 3 380 mm. The turning radius of the T8 is 6.2 metres, making urban- and off-road driving easy.
The double-skinned load-box of the T8 measures 1 520 mm × 1 520 mm × 470 mm and is sprayed with an anti-scratch and corrosion-resistant truck bed liner. The T8 carries a full 1 000 kg load and has a maximum Towing Mass (Braked) of 1 780 kg.
Off-road credentials
The T8 4×4 features the reliable ESOF electronically-controlled time-sharing four-wheel-drive system from BorgWarner. With the press of a button, the driver can switch between two-wheel drive (2H) and four-wheel drive (4H) up to 80km/h.
The T8 4×4 also offers a low-speed four-wheel drive (4L) selection, a torque amplification mode, which enhances its off-road ability. The 2H, 4H and 4L functions can be selected through buttons neatly located on the dashboard. An electronically-controlled diff-lock ensures that no obstacle is too big for the all-new T8.
A customised style bar, rear step bumper and heavy-duty rock-sliders complement the rugged look of the 4×4 derivative. The T8 has an approach angle of 29.6⁰, a break-over angle of 23.5⁰, and a departure angle of 22.4⁰, with a 210 mm ground clearance.
“The rugged-looking T8 double-cab is the perfect lifestyle bakkie. It will appeal to families who love adventurous outdoor activities, of which there are many in our beautiful country,” says Göbel.
Modern lifestyle design
The contemporary design of the T8 complements its workhorse aesthetic. Its striking appearance consisting of neat creases, design curves and a stylish front fascia makes it stand out from its rivals.
The front of the T8 adopts a large-area hexagonal air intake grille and a thick electroplating decorative strip connected to the stylishly designed Xenon headlamps with built-in Daytime Running Lights. Fog lamps are integrated into the front bumper. The JAC badge, boldly embedded in the grille, further contributes to the T8’s overall rugged design.
The T8 features bold black wheel arches, running boards and a style bar to round off its striking appearance. The unique ‘Double C’ LED tail-light design enhances the eye-catching appearance of the T8 and makes it easily noticeable at night. Attractive two-tone 18-inch alloy wheels with a floral-inspired design and 265/60 R18 tyres perfectly fit the contemporary look of JAC Motors’ all-new T8 lifestyle bakkie.
Standard specifications
Safety is the quality DNA Element of JAC Motors. This philosophy sees a host of active- and passive safety features included, such as dual airbags, an Anti-lock braking system (ABS) and Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), all ensuring the safety of the driver and passengers.
The T8 is well-equipped and features luxurious interior appointments such as a multi-function steering wheel, adjustable steering column, speed control, leather seats, electric windows, a reverse camera, rear park sensors, remote central locking, and an on-board computer / multi-information display. An upmarket seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity rounds off the comfortable cabin of the all-new T8.
“The latest design elements from JAC Motors’ international design centres in Italy and Japan give the T8 a rugged appearance. With its attractive styling, good equipment level and high build-quality, the T8 offers outstanding value to prospective double-cab buyers,” says Göbel.

Mitsubishi Triton GL Offers Excellent Value
Attractive styling and great drive make this entry-level bakkie an affordable option for leisure use.
Tumblr media
The Mitsubishi Triton GL looks anything but entry-level.
Bakkies might have been initially designed to get cargo from point A to point B, but they have evolved into technologically advanced machines.
These days all the flagship double cabs of the leading bakkie producers boast top-notch safety systems. They are powered by refined powerplants mated to sophisticated automatic gearboxes.
Their cabins feature leather seats, state-of-the-art connectivity systems and creature comforts like heated seats. On the outside, there have nice wheels, LED headlights, load bin liners, style bars and fancy roller shutters.
But not everyone in the market for a double cab bakkie for leisure or dual purpose can afford these top-end offerings. Neither does everyone need or want all the fancy things included in price tags north of R800 000.
The problem is that affordable double cab options with styling that is more leisurely than commercially-orientated in the established bakkie brands’ stables are very limited.
More often than not, these models will be fairly base spec compromised with things like steel wheels, non-coloured coded bumpers and door handle.
This has no doubt contributed to many buyers weighing up better-specified models offered by lesser-established bakkie brands like Mahindra, GWM and JAC.
Mitsubishi’s new direction
Ford took notice of the opportunity by introducing the XL Sport two years ago, a very base-specced model whose styling is pimped up to make it a very presentable leisure or dual-use option.
Mitsubishi has followed suit with the introduction of the Triton 2.4 DI-D 4×2 double cab GL. The GL offers the gateway to the Mitsubishi bakkie brand at R115 000 less than its previous entry-level offering.
The Mitsubishi Triton line-up before the introduction of the GL comprised exclusively of leisure offerings. But the Japanese carmaker’s new approach is to appeal to both business and fleet owners alongside leisure users.
We have our doubts about whether or not the GL should be considered as a hard-core commercial option after being very impressed by it during its recent week-long stay.
Sure, it’s tough and strong enough to get the job done, but it’s just too damn pretty to get abused by wayward flying bricks and cubes of gravel in a building yard!
Sexy styling
Mitsubishi got the GL’s styling absolutely spot-on. There is nothing workhorse about this bakkie that should blend in perfectly between the fancy SUVs out there.
Chrome-coated door handles, side mirrors, tailgate handles and around the side steps complement the chrome accents on Mitsubishi’s familiar Dynamic Shield front design.
The exterior package is completed by simple yet stylish six-spoke 16-inch alloy wheels wrapped with chunky 245/70 R16 rubber ware.
Inside, the Triton GL is less fancy, but definitely not cheap and nasty. A combination of soft-touch faux leather finishes a variety of decent black plastics and brushed silver inserts gives the cabin a good quality feel along with dark grey fabric seats.
Interior features include a Sony touchscreen infotainment system with a USB socket, auto air-conditioner, day/night rearview mirror and four-spoke urethane grip steering wheel with tilt and telescopic adjustment.
Our biggest gripe with the Mitsubishi Triton GL’s cabin was the lack of steering wheel controls. With the radio also bereft of a good ol’ volume knob, it takes some good hand/eye coordination to adjust the volume by virtue of a tiny button below the infotainment screen.
Safety features come in the form of two front airbags, ABS with EBD and BAS, a brake override system and ISOFIX child seat anchors.
The absence of rear parking sensors and a reverse camera was a bit of a concern. One of the biggest challenges operating a vehicle 5 285 mm long is manoeuvring it in tight spaces and having no help in the form of a parking sensor or rear camera will spook most drivers.
Mitsubishi power
The real star of the show in the GL in our opinion – stealing even the exterior styling’s thunder – is the engine. Like the rest of the Mitsubishi bakkie range, the GL is powered by a 2.4-litre turbo diesel engine, but a detuned version.
With outputs of 100kW/324Nm it might sound underpowered compared to the 133kW/430Nm version serving on its siblings, but judge this mill on face value at your own peril. Mated to a six-speed manual transmission, this diesel mill is a gem.
Acceleration through the lower gears is swift and smooth, unlike the almost truck-like feel of the first and second gears on some manual bakkies. It never felt underpowered in city traffic and impressed with its torque at lower revs in higher gears.
Its fuel consumption also impressed. Mitsubishi claims that the GL will sip 8.0-litres per 100 km and we managed to match that over 520 km. One open road stint returned an excellent number of 7.5 L/100 km.
Featuring double wishbones with coil spring and stabiliser in the front and above-the-axle leaf spring rear suspension, the Triton’s ride is as smooth as you’d come to expect from a top-end bakkie nowadays.
The Triton GL has a payload of one ton and a braked towing mass of 1 400 kg.
Conclusion
The Mitsubishi Triton GL makes a compelling case, offering great value for money. While compromises have been made to keep the cost down, the areas that matter do not disappoint.
While Mitsubishi intended it to be a working bakkie on weekdays suitable and styled for leisure use over weekends, we tend to believe the opposite is true.
It can show off at the malls and schools during the week and carry mountain bikes and surfboards… and maybe some garden refuse … over a weekend.
The Mitsubishi Triton GL comes standard with a three-year/100 000 km warranty and a five-year/90 000 km service plan.

All of us have needs that has to be met. Needs in form of clothing, shelter, good health, even in the simplest forms such as clean water.
A lot of us has the capacity to have these needs met as it is easily available for us. But what about the far-flung places in the outer parts of the city?
Operation Blessing makes it possible for these communities and our fellow kababayans in need to have these necessities answered. They visit remote places in our country and the places devastated by calamities to attend to our kababayans in need.
If you want to learn more of what Operation Blessing does, here’s the story of Jerremy and how your generosity lifted the fear he has in his life.

Youtuber!Ralbert Au
originally done by the lovely @we-are-inevitable you can find the original concept here
part two to this series can be found here
and my valentine’s hcs can be found here
ok so let’s set up the basics first
albert is a faceless gaming youtuber known for his voice (thing corpse husband but instead of how deep it is it’s cause of his distinct accent)
race is a vlogger/lifestyle youtuber who makes chaotic content that shows off his bubbly personality p e r f e c t l y
they also happen to be roommates (and boyfriends, but that’s not public just yet)
at first, their fan bases were pretty separate, as their content didn’t really mix
until one day race posts a video of him trying on outfits picked by his subscribers through twitter (video inspo by phil lester here)
and he brings in his vague, never-shown-on-camera roommate that he mentions occasionally in vlogs to help him
enter, albert dasilva (aka chaotic red on twitch/youtube)
now albert’s voice is distinct, especially to his fans considering it’s the only thing about him that’s consistently in videos
so IMMEDIATELY the comments are full of “holy shit is chaotic red race’s mysterious roommate omg-“
the whole video is full of playful banter and fond looks from race to behind the camera, and waY MORE LAUGHTER FROM RED THAN ANY OF HIS SUBS ARE USED TO
it’s basically a goldmine for albert’s fans cause it’s the first time he’s out of his usual element of video games
and about 2 days after the video drops, albert tags race on his public twitter saying their going live on twitch to play among us with their friends
(friends meaning all of the other newsies, who in this au are also youtubers)
THIS TURNS OUT TO BE ANOTHER ABSOLUTE GOLDMINE FOR THE FANS
apparently, the thing about al’s laughter in race’s video wasn’t “red being out of his element,” it was the fact race was there making him laugh
cause this stream is the happiest they’ve EVER heard red be (albert usually plays horror games and among us, there’s just a lot of yelling and swearing and a bit of banter in usual gameplays)
he’s joking with everyone more than normal, you can practically HEAR him smiling, and race is making him genuinely laugh every couple minutes with his stupid one liners and general confusion at “how to video game”
albert is really lucky his alias comes from the face race nicknamed him “red” in middle school, cause race manages not to accidentally call him by his real name at any point during the stream
it’s actually al who makes a mistake
now it’s not an “i accidentally revealed my secret identity mistake live on stream” mistake-
no, it’s almost w o r s e
he calls race babe, live on stream to thousands of people, more than once
twitter absolutely looses its shit, as expected
race may or may not have sat on their living room floor laughing his ass off at what he can see of albert’s distressed expression as he lays face down on their couch
yeah let’s just say the next week he’s in race’s vlog again (kinda? like his voice is in it but he’s still not ready for his face to be all over everywhere just yet)
now albert’s fans have a vague description of him, the basics of sorts, and the voice to guess his general region of origin
they know he’s stockier and muscly, got red hair and hazel eyes, covered in freckles (he may or may not get compared to a weasley or two on twitter more consistently then he cares to admit)
but racer’s fans know A LOT about him, he’s a lifestyle vlogger ffs, it’s his j o b to share his life
so long story short there’s a segment in race’s vlog where they’re just like “yeah we’re dating and have been since junior year of highschool it be like that lmao”
and the rest of the vlog is just them doing domestic shit? like albert’s face is off camera but for the first time you can s e e him on camera
they bake cookies at one point and you can see his trademark necklace race got him for graduation when he was 18, his troye sivan concert tee that he’s cut the sleeves off of, the freckles all over and the fact he wears stacks of bracelets on both wrists and his hands are covered in rings
you can see the scar on his shoulder from when he jumped the fence sneaking out to hang with race freshman year, and the semicolon tattoo on the side of his right hand
you can see his personality, not just hear it, and believe me he’s got SO MUCH OF IT
he’s funny and witty and he teases race like nobody else does and his fans can finally see the way he leans back and laughs with his whole body when race does something stupid
all of their fans are slowly combining, cause race shows up on the chaotic red gaming channel more often from dramatically popular request (and the fact albert loves making fun of him for having no idea what he’s doing
and albert is in almost all of race’s vlogs at least once, because he’s a massive part of race’s life and he’s finally allowed to share that piece that was missing
the amount of fan content made for the two of them is ASTRONOMICAL (think jenna marbles and julien solomita levels of fan content, it’s two massive fanbases combining and theyre so hyped up)
they’re just happy vibing together on youtube once they finally start posting together, and absolutely nobody’s complaining about it
and if they have to do a little extra editing cause of kisses on camera or impromptu slow dances in the kitchen or race accidentally saying albie, then it’s worth the extra work for how happy everyone is
lmk if i should do more of this cause i love this au more than anything
also seriously go follow jac their blog is one of my favorites and everything they write is pure gold
fín :)

Andrew and Neil unknowingly adopt Robin Cross as their daughter before getting the cats
Reporter: asks about Jack
Neil, ignoring it: Robin played brilliantly, did you see how she shut down that goal tonight? How she didn’t let a single ball get past her.
Reporter: yes...but Jac-
Neil: Jack couldn’t even score a goal on the Trojan’s goalie, let alone get past their back liners.
This interview happens after Jack decided to be a little shit and blame Neil for not helping him on the court. Kevin was willing to look away when Neil accidentally tripped Jack on his way past to deal with the press.
Kevin: you can’t keep praising Robin when you’re asked about Jack
Neil, making direct eye contact with Kevin the next time his being interviewed: Robin fucking Cross is one of the best players the foxes have and if anyone suggests otherwise I will persona-
Wymack had to, with the help of Andrew, get Neil away from the press and let Kevin handle the rest of it before it blew out of proportion.
Nicky, Dan, Renee and Allison tweet the video cheering Neil on for looking standing up for Robin.
BUT ALAS, Neil does this all for Andrew.
Andrew told Neil he was the one to suggest Robin to Wymack, opened up about how her case hit a little close to home for him and he’d been following the case up until her “father” had been caught.
Neil took it to heart and decided to look out for Robin openly while Andrew does it in the background.
Robin, sighs: I think Jack and Sheeran are the ones who spread those rumours
Neil: brb
He tells Andrew, so while Neil is roasting the two during training and making them run 20 laps each and throwing some Raven drills in, Andrew is in the goal hitting every ball thrown at him towards the two as they run by. He already got Nicky to put a little itching powder on their clothes, wacking the balls towards them was just funny.
When they go pro and have left Robin by herself at Palmetto, they buy a three bedroom apartment for the purpose of Robin having her own room whenever she visits. They also make surpise visits to watch her games and spend the weekends together.
It’s mostly Neil and Robin doing their own little thing with the cats while Andrew watches, eating his ice cream and filming the four of them when he suspects the two cats are gonna jump the two.
The videos later get uploaded with no context
Neil, commenting: our kids were high
random fan retweeting: does he mean only the cats?
The foxes, all a day later: yeah so when was anyone gonna tell us that Andrew and Neil adopted Robin????
this is just random 1 am thoughts👉🏼👈🏼
