do kids these days even know about things like %appdata% or is that just the minecrafters now
#x#computer literacy#if you don't basically there's a hidden file called AppData on windows that has a lot of stuff in it that's important for programs#like don't go poking around in there without knowing what you're doing but it's really useful for finding error message sources etc#highly recommend if you are not familiar with the file structure on desktop computers to check it out!!#it's a really powerful and useful skill

The thing about the time lords is yeah they’re a super powerful species, it wouldn’t be all that inaccurate to call them gods of time, but you get yourself a time lord and like 70% of the time it’s like oh this is a guy I could kick in the shins really hard and get away with it unscathed
#they are very powerful but few time lords actually seem to know how to use that power (or really even just the idea of that power) outside#of gallifrey and it’s practically unchanging systems of power#like there’s definitely a few that are formidable all on their own#but like take your average time lord out of gallifrey and they’re not much more than a smart and time sensitive some guy#like look at fucking spandrell and engin#or most of the chancellery guard#they don’t actually have any skills/powers outside of the ones placed upon them by gallifrey#get them alone and they’re nothing#the time lords power comes from their reputation and the systems built at the beginning of their society more than like#some sort of time lordness#doctor who#time lords

MDZS Disco Elysium AU part 2 - Psyche Skills
Part 1 - Part 3
#poorly drawn mdzs#mdzs#disco elysium#MDZS disco elysium au#jiang cheng#jiang yanli#yu ziyuan#While it's more in vogue to draw a character's skill roster tailored to them -#One of the more subtle details I love in DE is how some of the skill portraits parallel character portraits of people hbd associates with.#Theres somethine rather poetic to be said about how other people shape out thoughts and sometimes act as a 'voice' in our head.#How we are in part a collection of impressions other people left behind on us.#I am a huge Skillhead (Those are my friends! My party members! They love me! They have their own agendas and alliances!)#so of course a healthy portion of this AU is dedicated to them <3#the Int skills go basically unchanged from DE. Psy as well (with changes to a few quirks in voice).#Fys skills though...well...wwx is in a different body! Those voices belong to Someone Else.#Esp electrochem (MXY in this AU also partied to near death. WWX is withdrawing and craving substances he's never even heard of before)#While I personally don't fully subscribe to Volition Jean I *do* see Volition Jiang Cheng. The voice of your Not Brother keeping you afloat#All three of these parallels make me unbelievably sad. They are also both purple. Art is like that sometimes.#Empathy Jiang Yanli...oh man do I have a lot of thoughts about her. Disco fans Who Know....you can probably see what I'm cooking.#Authority is a really interesting skill in DE because *yes* its about power and intimidation - but it's also about finesse and respect#Titus Hardie and YZY both abuse *and* finesse how they establish their authority - in a way that leaves quite an impression.#2 more mdzs disco posts that I *need* to create and then I'm off to working on raffles <3

Fixing history using the power of editing and my editing skills!!
For today we have, New Titans (1980) Issue #100
✨ Wedding Special ✨
@robstarblog @robstaryeah pinging yall just in case so that this doesn't get lost in oblivion (It'd be painful since I worked 5 hours non stop on it lol)
I think the most time was taken by the final panel and adding in the finishing touches since I pretty much had to change everything to the pixel level, quite literally lol (I'm serious, I did)
Welp I hope the results were worth it! And with that, another one gets a good ending!!
I kinda didn't add sleeves in the first two panels of the final page because it didn't look good and looked janky with how I was editing it so yeah please ignore that-
#teen titans#robstar#dick grayson#koriand'r#starfire#dickkory#Changing history#using the power of editing and my own skills!#giving the good ending to characters who truly deserve it#it took me 5 hours to complete all the editing to the miniscule level#i paid attention to every detail to match each panel#it took a lot of effort but it was worth it!!#but damn man there have been so little dickkory content that I really had to search hard to get myself a suitable pic to edit out of#we have a lot barbara content with dick but barely much with Kori honestly#anw hope this is nice#self editing#also#Donot remove my watermark while reposting otherwise I'll consider it as stealing >:(#dont steal#that damn priest took so much time to edit like holy cow#I really went above and beyond to get all the details right and consistent throughout#I let my perfectionist nature manifest#but yea#now Dick and Kori can have an uninterrupted happy wedding <3#im so happy#I may try another one of these fixie thingies if I find anything^^#this was really fun to work on#i fixed canon#but fuck the actual canon#cuz most comic writers cant even do just one job right

I keep thinking how sad Quill Kipps' whole deal is. He's brought up as a child soldier and he becomes quite good at it, good enough to work at one of the best agencies. He works hard, suffers, loses people, carries on because it's all got to be worth it. He ages in a system that prioritizes youth and feels everything special about him slowly starting to slip away. He has put everything into being an elite agent and he's about to age out of everything he's ever known.
He gets tangled with an unruly bunch of independent agents. They're annoying rule breakers but god they're amazing. Part of his beef with them is he can feel their talent rolling off them in waves making him acutely aware of how his is almost used up. When it becomes unsafe for him to pretend any more, he does what other agents do and becomes a supervisor. He keenly feels the separation from himself and agents in the field and finds he now can't just sit on the sidelines and watch others put their lives at stake when he can't help.
He's adrift, nothing to his name but his old reputation and a set of skills that are no longer useful. He ends up tangled back with the independents because they trust him - need him - and by god does he want to be needed. He wants so desperately to be part of their world again. They find some goggles that allow him to see visitors again and he's like a kid at Christmas. He can finally be involved again! It doesn't have to be over!
While working with them he learns everything he was taught to believe in was a lie, the prestigious agency he gave his entire being for is causing the rise of spirits. Once his involvement is found out, he loses his pension and privileges. He is cut off entirely from his old support system. With nothing left, the independents take him in. He's useful but he knows it's more out of pity. He works hard, almost dies and fights to dismantle the very establishment he spent his best years serving. The battle is won but things stay the same for him.
He is still a young adult clinging with aching fingers onto his childhood and teen years because that was the only way he had purpose. His closest friends are still young teens, five or more years younger than him. He chastises them for their childishness even as he desires more than anything to be one of them. He is Peter Pan, refusing to grow up because there is nothing for him as an adult in haunted England. He does not even look towards his future because he cannot let go of his shining past where he was actually needed.
#lockwood and co#the more I write kipps the more sad I get for him#I grew to like him in the books but getting in his head really hammers home his inherent tragedy#most 21-22 year olds would HATE hanging with 15-16 year olds#but he desperately wants to be one of them again because thats all he knows#the agent system builds these kids up with power and prestige and then throws them to the curb as adults#youre not special anymore not useful#but what is he supposed to do? He stopped education early and he's aged out of his most useful skills#quill kipps

I think it's interesting that when Gandalf describes Denethor's ability to "perceive, if he bends his will thither, much of what is passing in the minds of men," he ties it less to his wisdom or general insightfulness (though he possesses both) than to his difference from "other men of this time," his near total Númenóreanness, and as bolded here, the active exercise of his will.
Tolkien also attributes Denethor's resilience against Sauron (by contrast with Saruman) to not only his right to use the Anor-stone, but "great strength of will." He notes that Sauron had no servant with greater mental powers than Saruman or Denethor, and Gandalf remarks that Denethor was "too great" to be subdued to Sauron's will.
Denethor and Gandalf have a strange and unsettling silent confrontation, carried on by their gazes, yet it strikes Pippin as like "a line of smouldering fire" and "as if reading each other's mind." Gandalf afterwards says Pippin was stuck between two "terrible old men," lumping Denethor in with himself. Pippin also sees some kind of kinship between Denethor and Gandalf, as Sam saw between Faramir and Gandalf.
In his letters, Tolkien said that the ancient Númenóreans became barely distinguishable from Elves in appearance and in their powers of mind. In Unfinished Tales, he notes that they loved their horses, and when a Númenórean had a strong bond with a horse, it was said that the horse could be summoned "by thought alone."
In LOTR, Faramir—who has inherited Denethor's Númenóreanness/wizardliness—has a reputation for command over both animals and men. When everyone else is thrown by their horses upon being chased by five Nazgûl, he not only keeps his seat, but mysteriously gets his horse to ride back towards the Nazgûl. And during the retreat across the Pelennor, the soldiers in the city conclude that Faramir must be with the men who are managing to retreat in order, repeating Beregond's remark that he has some undefined command over both men and beasts.
Gandalf suggests that this is a result of Faramir pitting himself against the effects of the Nazgûl in some way, but his abilities (whatever they are) are outmatched. In the event, the effect of Faramir's Aura of Courage commanding abilities remains until he's shot and finally falls to the Black Breath.
Faramir also makes repeated references to perceiving or reading things in Gollum's mind. At one point, he describes Gollum's mind as dark and closed, yet unable to prevent Faramir from detecting that he's holding something back about Cirith Ungol specifically. Noticeably, this only happens when Faramir orders Gollum to look at him (which Gollum does "unwillingly"), and the light drains from his eyes as he meets Faramir's. It seems decidedly reminiscent of the later Gandalf vs Denethor duel-by-eye-contact.
Faramir's exact words about Gollum's secrecy are "That much I perceived clearly in his mind," in reference to his earlier questioning of him. He says that he can "read" previous murders in Gollum and Gollum cries out in pain when he tries to lie to him.
When Faramir gives staves to Frodo and Sam, he says that a "virtue" of finding and returning has been placed on them, with zero explanation of what he means by that. He adds a hope that the virtue will not altogether fail under Sauron's power in Mordor. He describes the people who did the woodwork but not who placed the virtues (it doesn't seem inherent to the wood itself, given his phrasing).
We do know that Dúnedain can potentially embed enchantments into items. The Barrow-daggers carried by Merry and Pippin are specifically enchanted against the Witch-king of Angmar by an unknown Dúnadan of the North, and when Merry stabs the Witch-king, the dagger breaks enough spells for Éowyn's ordinary sword to finish the job.
Meanwhile, Aragorn uses his healing powers to help the city, wishing for the presence of Elrond, because he is their eldest of their kind and more powerful. Aragorn, also, has at least some part of this ability to actively exercise his will and mental powers, perhaps an equal share, though he uses it less often.
In the book, he doesn't physically attack the Mouth of Sauron, but instead holds his gaze (again, eye contact is important!). There's another silent struggle that involves no weaponry or any other contact.
He prevails in some way over the Mouth of Sauron (not a warped creature of Sauron in the book, but a cruel Númenórean who has "learned great sorcery"). The Mouth indignantly says he has diplomatic immunity and can't be attacked like this.
But, I mean, maybe they're all just smart and perceptive, it's really unclear.
#eldritch dúnedain WHEN#because i am very aware that this could be deeply unsettling if presented just a bit differently!#but it is wild to me that tolkien can outright say 'this guy is a númenórean who learned sorcery'#and people are still like 'but can númenóreans use magic. i guess we'll never know.'#or have faramir give his whole speech about what gollum's mind looks like to him and what he can see clearly in it#fandom: idk it's just really unclear#gandalf: denethor can see what happens in other people's minds if he exercises his will#fandom: a great mystery ... maybe he's just very wise and insightful???#tolkien: the dúnadan who enchanted the daggers would be happy to know his spells worked and helped defeat the witch-king#fandom: númenórean craftmanship is /skilled/ of course but how can we make this about elves#honestly it seems like people don't /want/ númenóreans to have supernatural abilities and i'm not sure why#humans who have elvish-style powers and appearance yet can never escape their humanity is SUCH a concept#(yes i will harp on this until the end of time)#anghraine babbles#legendarium fanwank#legendarium blogging#long post#húrinionath

another thing with denying jaime agency is that a lot of his character is initially constructed around what his physical power means when it comes to choices that he makes. physical strength and combat prowess, violence, is a specific form of power that he has over others and can choose to extend to other parties. it is an integral aspect of every power dynamic, be it with his king, his sister, the rest of society etc. the knight is also an examination of power and responsibility. that is why their oaths are constructed around protecting the weak. it is what’s so interesting with the kingsguard too, especially aerys’s. they are the most skilled in combat and physically powerful people in the room. they had a form of power to act and prevent what aerys kept doing. and they are on a leash through oaths, law, order, obeying authority, and a status quo, a different kind of power that functions to give the man with a crown, in this case a tyrant, absolute power. you are sworn to obey, not to judge. you have to abide by your role. that is also what makes him eventually killing aerys and breaking these oaths so transgressive and threatening to the westerosi paradigm. his motivations and the circumstances aside, jaime in specific killing his king as a member of his elite guard undermined westerosi order and framed power as something that resided with the man with the sword and not with the man with the crown or even the lords with bannermen and armies who won the war that they started. it breaks these constructs apart with the precedent it sets. and on top of that, he gets away with it because of his status and relationship to tywin, which is also a scary precedent in the eyes of many. it is huge when it comes to westerosi order and class stratification, but it is also threatening in general because, yes, it does make him a loose cannon in the eyes of other people. and yeah he stagnates and falls into cynicism and begins to reject ethics and law in a dangerous way and ends up abusing that physical power and causes real harm to people who do not deserve it. he does embody a dangerous kind of anarchy that is the product of the flawed and dysfunctional social order that he experienced with a front row seat with the absurdly cruel tyrant that was systematically enabled. everything was reframed in his head. if there is no justice and order you can have faith in, who cares? he doesn’t fear death, and that is combined with the belief he can cut through anything now, he has the power to do so. be it a king, a lord, or virtually any power over him when it comes down to it. how much can a crown be worth…? he even argues to brienne that robert tearing the realm apart with his war is worse in a pragmatic sense. he rejects the existing laws, ethics, and moral constructs of his society that have a monopoly on violence because he is disillusioned with them, and he operates solely by his twisted reconstruction of morality (also obviously affected by his trauma) that atp primarily revolves around love for his family, especially cersei. he chooses to become the sword of his loved one, having lost faith in the purity of everything other than this delusional idealized relationship that is the only thing that is sacred that remains to him. and ofc all of this is another layer that makes george stripping him of this particular power through his maiming so functional in causing crisis.
#jaime lannister#this is also why it’s important that he is so powerful and skilled#like he has to be that fucking good with swinging that fucking sword for so many reasons#like im so serious when i say its integral when it comes to his psychology and his themes#and hes fully aware like he says its the hand that made him a knight that made him a man that killed aerys that flung bran#jaimes story examines a specific kind of power and responsibility very thoroughly#him getting disowned and maimed smiles like he is progressively losing all of it#and then he loses faith in cersei and her love too#anyways my point id that anybody who tries to use a twisted version of the nuremberg defense with him doesnt really understand him#and this applies to the blaming cersei part#he always owns these actions too like

Who do you think are the most OP members of the FlashFam? I think it's difficult, the majority of them has almost the same powers.
Oh easy.
Wally, Bart and Barry.
I think we forget sometimes that the vast majority of the crazy feats of godlike powers we see from speedsters are coming from these three. Wally, Bart and Barry have insane connections to the speedforce and their skill level is unmatched. What these three can do is by no means normal or average. They are op as fuck.
You have to remember that even... let's say Max Mercury is nowhere even remotely near their skill level. And we're talking about Max Mercury. The guy who knows more about the speedforce than anyone else and trained for years to master it. But Max (although he was faster than Bart when Bart was a child) isn't on the same playing field as Wally, Bart and Barry. Max couldn't enter the speedforce without Bart's assistance, Max couldn't leave the speedforce without Barry and Wally's assistance, Max can't time travel to a destination of his own choice, Max can't speed steal or fully pause time, ect ect. Max is one of the most skilled, most knowledgeable, most trained and most respected speedsters of all time. Max is the cream of the crop. You won't find another speedster better than Max. He's a shining example of what's humanely possible for speedsters to achieve.
But Wally, Bart and Barry aren't humanely possible. Those three are insane.
I'm actually going to make a tier list to explain this
ABSOLUTELY FUCKING INSANE:
(AKA actually gods. Can do literally every speedster ability. Faster than literally everything. Beyond op.)
Wally West (now), Bart Allen, Barry Allen
TOP LEVEL OF SPEEDSTER ABILITY:
(AKA the top of the top. Insane skills. Insane knowledge. Insane speed. Likely has a vast amount of speedster abilities other than running. Likely faster than most other speedsters. Op af)
Max Mercury, Jay Garrick, Savitar, Eobard Thawne, Thad Thawne, Irey West (future)
ABOVE AVERAGE:
(AKA one of the following: above average speed, above average connection or above average abilities. Likely has one or two speedster abilities other than running. Slightly op but still beatable)
Irey West (now), August Heart, Edward Clariss, Jess Quick, Alinta (future), Hunter Zoloman (when connected), Lia Nelson, Jai West (future)
AVERAGE:
(AKA average connection, average speed, average abilities. Potentially an additional speedforce ability but no crazy speedforce abilities. Not op.)
Wally West (past), Ace West, Avery Ho, Jesse Chambers, Daniel West, Christina Alexandrova, Jenni Ognats, Jai West (now), John Fox, Red Death, Don Allen, Dawn Allen, Meena Dhawan, Anatole, David Edwards (after), Judy Garrick, Bar Torr, Fastbak, Swoosh, Terri Magnus, Sela Allen, Jonathan Allen, Carrie Allen, Barry West, S'Kidd Flash, Thondor Allen, Jace Allen, Blaire Allen, Nora Allen, Agent Flashling, Danica Williams, Cherub
TRIES REALLY HARD:
(AKA normal connection but below average speed and abilities. Extremely beatable.)
Baroness Blitzkrieg, Johnny Chambers, Bebeck, Cassiopeia, Harold Christos, Inertia 2, Killspeed, Mayfly, Millie Heyday, Runaround Sue, Wind, Pellmell, Poprocket, Velocity, Gabriella Rossetti
OH NO:
(AKA needs outside assistance to access speedforce (suit, drugs, formula), faulty connection, connection is killing them, can only access powers for short periods of time, ect)
Jai West (past), Alinta (now), Owen Mercer, Eliza Harmon, Jerry McGee, Meloni Thawne (*see notes), Gregor Gregorovich, Boleslaw Uminski, Joanie Swift, Mas, Menos, David Edwards (previously), Keigo, Ezra Gill, Henry Cosgei, Jaculi, Jaculi 2, Jimmy Olsen, Xane Swift
So yeah, as you can see by this, although all speedsters with a functioning speedforce connection are technically capable of being op, speedsters rarely actually are op.
We're just really used to op speedsters because we're used to whatever the fuck Wally, Bart and Barry have going on. But they are very much not representative of speedsters as a whole.
Do you guys remember how fast Wally used to be? When he was younger and struggling with his speed and stuff? THAT'S THE GODDAMN AVERAGE. Wally AT HIS SLOWEST was still faster than every single goddamn speedster he came across, including Jay, Johnny, Jesse, the Blue Trinity, the Red Trinity, ect. HE JUST WASN'T FASTER THAN BARRY OR EOBARD SO HE THOUGHT HE WAS THE WORST. Because Wally is fucking insane. He's an insane human being. Anyway, Wally at his slowest is the typical representation of an average speedster. That's how they typically are.
#dc#dc comics#speedsters#speedforce#flash fam#ranking#k to explain some things. first none of the names are ranked by order. so I'm not ranking them 1 Wally 2 Bart ect#they're only ranked by category. not ranked within the categories#Irey isn't in the insane category because she's actually not supposed to be faster than Wally. she's just more skilled than him#so shes good (like really good) but she doesn't surpass her fathers speed. so im putting her in top until proven otherwise#lia is in above average despite not having super speed because the stuff she has going on is INSANE#the same thing applies to Jai#Meloni is in oh no because she is technically a speedster?? she's just never used her powers in a comic? but she's listed in universe as#being a speedster and Owen inherited his speed from her. so. idk. my only conclusion is that she doesn't know how to use her speed#or she doesn't use it to spite her father.#mas y menos are in oh no because they need to hold hands to access their powers#oh and Hunter's ranking is soley off of his speedforce connection. not his time powers. Hunter's time powers are insane#i tried to stay main universe but i couldn't resist putting in some alt universe speedsters#oh and Eobard and Thad aren't in the god level because Eobard has been reset meaning that he isn't really timeless like Wally and Bart are#and hes not literally the speedforce like Barry is (no matter how hard he tries)#and Thad isn't there because... well he was a good match for Bart when Bart was really little. but i don't really think Thad is any more#like... even remotely. Bart has surpassed Thad by a lot.#Bart was literally the speedforce at one point. hes insane#also Hunter WAS a god? but for unrelated reasons (his time powers) but getting connected to the speedforce nerfed him

dazai arcane verse........chainsaw man verse.......
#i briefly went over his arcane verse like a week ago#chainsaw man verse........#the despair devil is the embodiment of the feelings of hopelessness and existential dread that plague humanity - that plague dazai#dazai whilst working as a devil hunter made a pact with the despair devil who found it fascinating the way in which dazai craved his own#perfect end. the despair devil being picky had taken on very few pacts in its time under capture but the pacts exist as the promise#that dazai will one day end his life - handing over his very being to the despair devil#the power it grants him comes in three forms. 1) th ability to induce feelings of deep hopelessness within others sapping their will to fig#which immobilises them as their own mental strengths are tested#2) dazai own inner feelings towards suicide manifest in a physical form - as spectral chains and nooses that can bind opponents at his will#3) the evasion of life and death. as he has signed the end of his life to the despair devil dazai cannot die unless it is at his own hand#and unless all of his conditions are met (yadda yadda double suicide with a beautiful women yadda yadda) BUT#dazai can “die” by the hand of an opponent but he will just be brought back within minutes thus i think its funny bcs he'll be sat there li#wtf......not again...... but this is like embodiment of his own lost soul and his own hopelessness#as he's forced to wander the earth without really ever feeling anything. he can also read emotion in others - those that are negative that#is and will likely be able to tell you a person/devil's worst fear (if they have one) but one of the less - impressive abilities would be#this.....#anyway..... yeah <3#still covered in bandages and still SHIT at hand to hand combat...but very good at his evasive manoeuvres and will put people out of action#using the skills he does have.........anyway <3

thinking about the time they actually gave joey dialogue in the new teen titans: games…
“He could be role-playing with us. Art represents civilization. Maybe he’s showing us his end game?”
this says sooo much about him: his deductive reasoning skills, his appreciation for art, his understanding of other people’s psychology. i need more stories where joey gets to play detective, especially in an art or music history context, and i NEED him to have proper dialogue
#imagining an art heist job with his mom in the searchers inc. comic that exists in my head#let him be thoughtful & have a personality beyond just the sweet helpful guy who’s a good listener#we see some of this skill as a tactician in ntt#(that issue where titans tower gets attacked by the hybrid comes to mind#plus the super inventive ways he uses his powers in general)#but there’s a level of characterization you get from dialogue that he’s almost never given in ntt#there are some narration boxes that kind of give insight into his thoughts#and then there’s that issue in late late ntt that has excerpts from a book he’s writing about the titans#but in general other characters vaguely paraphrase things he signs or we just see their response & what he even said is only implied#really it wouldn’t be hard to give him dialogue like at all they did it here with text boxes that have quotation marks#you could also use angle brackets like they do in american comics when a character’s speaking in a language other than english#just have a little ‘*translated from american sign language’ as an editor’s note & people will know what’s going on#joey wilson#the new teen titans: games#undescribed

perhaps one day i will post all my insane little thoughts about shou and ritsu and strength (and skill vs power). but not right now it’s been too long since i’ve rewatched the claw arcs or confession arc
#mp100#mp100 spoilers#(<- for safety)#but yeah basically it’s like. i’d argue that psychic strength has two main components: power and skill#where power is the amount of raw energy you can output at once/your energy store#and skill is your ability to use it precisely/creatively/well#like for instance. i see shou as not actually having much Power (maybe teru level output? but his energy storage ability makes up for it)#but being EXTREMELY skilled- maybe one of the most skilled espers in the whole show! (especially wrt his lateral thinking)#so when he said ‘im just as strong as the ultimate 5’ he was conflating power with skill#i do believe he was as skilled as the ultimate 5. but definitely not as strong.#(toichirou on the other hand has the same skills shou does but with OVERWHELMING amounts of power)#(i fully believe shou knew ways to counter every technique toichirou pulled out but was just. overwhelmed by the sheer Power of those moves#(like he wasn’t able to use his counters because of the overwhelming force)#(this is also why mob doesn’t need techniques- once you hit a certain level of power you don’t really need that much skill)#ritsu on the other hand i see as having a good amount of power (under serizawa level but not far) but with a lack of skill#(and an inconsistent output level)#wow i really just made the whole post in the tags anyways huh. lmaooo

"Oz's steel is the strongest in the < Star Stream >. Securing suitable weapons is an utmost priority." After declaring such, Yoo Joonghyuk didn't even wait for our permission and simply went on his way. Companions looked at me, silently asking if this was okay, and I replied with a simple shrug of my shoulders.
I know that a split party works out best for Dokja's plans anyway, but I do love the idea here that Joonghyuk has to ask their permission before leaving the group.
That's not how this works.
That's not how any of this works.
Dokja's other companions are looking at him like "uh...is it cool for him to just leave like that?" 😂
Meanwhile Dokja just shrugs because he has spent over ten years watching that guy and he knows very well that Yoo Joonghyuk does not ask if he can do something, he declares that he's going to do it, and really all you can do is adjust your plans accordingly.
Or, in Dokja's case, already have Joonghyuk's lone wolf shtick accounted for in said plans.
#orv#orv spoilers#orv liveblog#omniscient reader's viewpoint#orv novel chapter 459#kdj#yjh#kdj crew#I am a bit sad that they're properly working together as companions and yet yjh STILL wanders off on his own#but at the same time it really does make sense from both a Watsonian and Doylist perspective#yjh knows exactly what he needs to do to help them prepare for the scenario and he's strong enough to take care of himself#so it makes sense to divide and conquer rather than use up twice the amount of time and skill needed#and also things might be too easy in the novel if they're always together because they're such an extreme power couple

Could you add TFA Longarm to your How to bang a robot safely list? (I know he’s just Shockwave, but I’m curious about the mass displacement???) 🤔 Thank you for doing god’s work btw 🫡
Added 🫡
So here's Longarm's spike stats!
Length: 44.6 cm
Circumference: 34.3 cm
Diameter: 10.9 cm
Can you fuck him? Yes you can, but there will be some bodily consequences.
Compared to Shockwave is 66.67% of his original size when he mass converts to longarm, which makes him fuckable but by no means makes it an easy fuck.

#Doodles#SCII#Damned#ZEX#Or if you prefer my very Normal Collection of ZEX stimming lol#I'm not choosing to read alien behaviours through a neurodivergent lense you can't prove anything#Okay you got me yes I am lol - in conjunction with my ADHD Max HC (which I am only more convinced of lol) I went into this with#Really any kind of self-soothing behaviour fascinates me :D And ZEX definitely needs the soothing ;;#But it's not just the stimming! Though I did keep pretty diligent notes about that lol he's deeply interesting to me!#He's a texture person! Part of that is due to being VUX and having very processed food but if it fits it fits!#I'm also a texture person - again I have too many notes relating to ZEX lol#I also find it charming (or sad - whichever is applicable at the time!) when ZEX eats in ''odd'' ways haha ♪#Eating without utensils - you can always just wash your hands you do you <3#The weighted blanket lol so - I had a very normal and measured reaction to ZEX enjoying full-body pressure lol#Solely and purely intellectual! Of course! VUX enjoy swimming! Full-body pressure makes complete sense!#And he's a tactile person on top of that - pressure good for multiple reasons! I really do think he'd sleep better with a weighted blanket ♪#Back to stimming! I really loved the scene of him opening the water bottle and his therapist being So Impatient with him about it lol#Let him figure it out! He's very intelligent! Very skilled at finding weak points and exploiting them hehe <3#But then he runs his finger on the lip of the bottle! Wine-glassing it while he talks hehe <3 I love him#Humming!! Another stim I relate to! Not so much now since it was ''encouraged'' out of me so I may be doubly biased towards him using it hee#Too delighted to focus on utensil lessons and yet he's still clever enough to pay attention to multiple things at once hehehe ♫#And then aside from his actual biggest stim he plays with his hair quite a lot - in various ways and to different ends :D#Running his hands through it to self-soothe or tugging on it to express - I kinda read it as him trying to move his head feelers around haha#Not quite the same but something!#Oh and then his biggest stim - just looking at humans lol it is very dopamine-delivering <3 And he has dopamine now! Very powerful :3c#Hhhhh human chemistry for VUX behaviours <3 It's so interesting to me hehe ♪

not me lying wide awake at 5:30am on a sunday on my day off bc after almost a full year I finally FINALLY realized the implication of the end of remember them from the cyclops saga
#that song has one of the most powerful ending crescendo sequences ive heard in maybe all of musical theater#so it. always felt incomplete after ALL that buildup during the I AM THE INFAMOOOUS#only to just drop to SILENCE. no music. no fanfare. just ODYSSEUS!#he doesnt even really sing it he just sort of... shouts it#and then its followed by the faintest sound of ocean waves#its poseidon. listening. THATS why athena said DONT#poseidon heard that declaration and came back to get him later#😬#i just looked up the lyrics for ruthlessness too and poseidon basically spells it out 😂#ive only listened to that song once or twice tho and i guess i wasnt too focused on the words#anyway i relistened to the songs on friday and theyve been rotating in my mind like a 7/11 hotdog#the whole cyclops saga especially is just.... so so good#they truly dont make music about bashing peoples heads in like they used to#the first 3 songs of the saga especially... oof#how they blend one into the other back to back and end up making like a 10 minute narration of events#the whole thing is so bone chilling#it gets my heartrate up lol#PLUS the theme of pain and vengeance bring more pain#EVERY time polyphemus says 'what gives you a right to deal a pain so deep'#and when odysseus says 'what good would killing do when mercy is a skill more of the world could learn to use'#rocking back and forth sobbing crying#remember them the next time that you DARE choose not to spare! remember them... remember us... remember me!#cant wait for everyone to turn their back on this musical in 5 yrs#like they did with hamilto.n#hamilto.n never stopped being good actually#yall are just embarrassed about being weird fanatics over people who rly existed
