It wasn't Trump, it wasn't Biden, it wasn't Harris, and it sure as Hell wasn't Netanyahu that made this happen.

It was the strength and resilience of the Palestinian people, and the leadership of the resistance.

The resistance never once ceded ground to the occupation's demands, and fought long arduous unending battles of asymmetric warfare.

The Ghazzawiyeh did not waver in their commitment to each other as a community, and did their best to provide for each other, to love one another, care for one another, and protect each other in incredibly difficult and deadly times. They dug each other out of the rubble with bear hands with every air strike and they took on orphans anytime they were made.

The Palestinian diaspora reached out to our people in the homeland and we coordinated to help protect our beautiful people. We strengthened and reforged solidarity movements new and old to strengthen our resolve and increase our supporters globally.

Without our coordinated strength, resilience, commitment to one another, and community with each other, we wouldn't have made it.

The occupation, the United States, etc... did not grant us a victory out of the kindness of their heart. They capitulated in the face of our strength and resilience, they were drained of resources and capital. And it was thanks to our resolve and the support of many across the globe just like you.

I do think with news of the ceasefire, everyone should read up on what the ceasefire actually means and what the different phases of the ceasefire are. here's a good source for what we know as of now:

Some of my initial takeaways are:

this ceasefire is temporary (as of right now, six weeks long). negotiations will continue but israel is not offering guarantees about continued non-violence. BDS remains important. be vigilant, keep pressure up

rafah crossing will open one week after the initial phase starts

israel will release 2000 prisoners

more aid will get to northern gaza, look out for ways you can help

if the second phase is initiated, israel will do a complete withdrawal from gaza. which means the initial phase will not include that. again i say: BE VIGILANT

if the third phase is reached, reconstruction will begin "under international supervision"

nothing is over, even if this is a relief. do not tape out, do not tune out.

- Declared the events in Sudan as a genocide

- Placed sanctions on UAE companies financing and arming RSF genocidaires.

- Watched over a ceasefire deal between the zionazi occupation and the Palestinian resistance.

What you need to know is this:

1) U.S. definitely ran out of money lmaooo

2) This was always on the table. Biden and Harris could've done this from the start. Instead, they do this 1 week before Trump inauguration to move the foreign policy agenda elsewhere.

The U.S. was performing genocide in Sudan and Palestine simultaneously and intentionally.
