She says that Elvis was a simple southern boy and would only go as far as kissing. She also once said “Elvis was a boy, Marlon was man” and that Brando was much more passionate and that she would choose him over Elvis anytime

No offense to the Marlon Brando stans but I would much rather make out with Elvis Presley, or even just talk to Elvis, than go all the way with Brando 🤧

I think many of the women who were with Elvis when he first started out lose sight of the fact that he was, like Rita said, a simple southern boy, with southern/religious values. He went from a truck driver to a famous singer practically overnight and he never lost the values he was raised with despite his life completely changing

Based on what Scotty Moore said, Elvis didn’t even lose his virginity until he became famous and on those early tours. He also said “Elvis was fresh out of highschool so he was inquisitive— mainly about girls”

So I’m not surprised that he went only as far as kissing with some women in the early years. I don’t think that constitutes him as “bad in bed”, I think he was just young, inexperienced, and most likely overwhelmed with all the female attention he was suddenly receiving. Like imagine only dating 1-2 girls seriously throughout your whole life and then becoming famous, and having almost every woman throw themselves at you. I just think he didn’t know what to do with them at first 💀

but all I know is if I got the privilege of making out with Elvis, I wouldn’t be complaining about it on talk shows 50-60 years later lmaooo
