Another stupid ass idea I have is Percy is thrown into a whole generation earlier than he’s supposed to be because I love mess. He’s born to Ignatius Prewett and Lucretia Black. Red hair, curls, gray eyes, and enough attitude for three. “RED HAIR is the only consistency in my life!!!”

He’s Sirius’ and Regulus’ cousin. Three boys, three girls born into their house. “Universe, PLEASE let me keep my sanity!!!”

He’s glued to Regulus, both of them having Leo names because. Prideful, misguided, a good son who just wants to make his family proud 🥲 “I think I’ve seen this film before, and I didn’t like the ending!!!”

He’s gotta go through his existential crisis, pass 12 owls again, a fucking war, and keep Sirius and Regulus together because he lost his siblings’ love once and it crushed him. So his dumb ass cousins can deal. “Of course he loves you!!! You are a piece of his heart that walks the earth!!! You fool!!!”

His god parents are definitely Orion and Walburga because his “mother” has a sense of humor. “Uncle what do I get in the will?”

He asks to go to Gryffindor and the hat said no. Because of his new family’s influence he threatens it and then goes to Slytherin. “Regulus can you believe this!!!!!!”

They go through school together and anytime he has a chance to fuck up something for Dumbledore he does. He never gets caught and the marauders always get blamed. Sometimes Regulus helps out. And if Sirius is all smiles in detention because he recognizes the pranks played on the headmaster, well? “Greatest wizard of our age? Yes, I suppose. BUT, he’s still a bitch. And he said my vest was unfortunate.”

Breakfast the next day always has him staring across the hall at his stars. Little smiles hidden behind notes of hope. “Just smile Regulus. Keep cool. Yes, I miss him too.”

Book 2 au: sparring sessions and short hair katara

They like to have sparring sessions in order to keep their bending skills sharp. They allow themselves to go all out and not hold back at all cause they know if anyone got hurt, Katara could just heal them

Thalia doesn’t keep many things in the hundreds of years she’s been alive.

But long ago, there were people, their names all but distant memories, who mattered in her 1st lifetime. It’s their things that stay hidden in her bag, reminding her of her mortal life.

A blue hoodie, worn almost threadbare. The scent of its original owner, long since leached from the fabric. But if she closes her eyes, she can almost see the blue eyes of her first and only love.

A pair of glasses. Frames cracked and crooked. A reminder of a brother she never got to truly know.

A baseball cap. It’s magic long faded, branded with a forgotten logo. Memories of a blonde girl laughing hidden deep within.

A letter. Ink fading, paper yellow. The last words of a dying friend. Words that wish her well, words that wished her well in a world they had fought side by side to save.

Thalia doesn’t keep a lot of things, but even after all this time, Luke, Jason, Annabeth, and Percy will stay with her forever. The memories of her first family to remind her why life is so beautiful.
