theres something about how cleo and scott have grown to be better allies since limited life, but pearl and impulse (who teamed with them before that) can't help but see them as they were in earlier seasons. some real character growth has happened there, but its hard to forget when people hurt you. it will take a lot for alienkeep for them to believe they can trust the widows alliance with their plans, even though they are literally begging to be let in and informed. their team is divided by one sided suspicion and residual pain

Majormoon is insane. They were best friends they were ride or die they will never trust each other again they're an excellent team they can't go a minute without fighting they will never forgive each other they will never stop thinking of each other they're enemies they don't even hate each other they want each other dead they protect each other and we will never know how much of it is just worry for their own lives. If they'd just found each other sooner they never would've been this angry but how much would it have taken for Scott to hate feeling trapped with someone? How much would it have taken for Pearl to feel abandoned? The soul mate system is what pushed them apart in the first place would they have ever really been able to stay together like that with something thst aggravated their pre existing issues that badly? What if I eat nails.
