I simply Could Not resist drawing their Bill in this ridiculous incredible and very fashionable pink feather dress, even though he only briefly wears it in their fic, so I also did a little bonus doodle of him in his standard hoodie to make up for it. XD (Also, as far as I'm concerned, Bill and Mabel were both correct in that lime green accessories make the dress Much Better.)

For the day five prompt of ND Tech Week. I’m thinking it takes Tech a little while to get back home, and a little while longer to figure out who he really is. He still has some rough days, and worries in ways he didn’t before. Whatever happened to him, and whatever he did afterwards, was something he couldn’t control—and it kept him away for so much longer than he wanted. Still, every once in while it hits him how much they lost, and how much they got back, and in spite of everything he thinks he must be the luckiest man in the galaxy to have come out the other side. After all, better late than dead. As Phee always says. (Or did that one time.)

I have not read yet the Task Force Z and Suicide Squad comics where Jason is part of the teams, but I like to imagine that working under Amanda Waller, who worked/works for the US military at a pretty high rank, is how he learns that Bruce was going to murder the Joker in the UN headquarter.

Amanda: I don't care about any of you, but keep Todd alive. It was hard enough to stop his father from starting a world war the first time he died, I don't want to deal with that again. Jason: WHAT?!

What did/do you like about Pharah?

Uh, gameplay-wise, I really love characters in shooters who rely on three-dimensional movement techs. Chaining together hover and jump to stay in the air for as long as possible and keep momentum is so satisfying, and picking enemies off from the sky made me feel like a bird of prey. I was a good Pharah main.

Story-wise, there unfortunately isn't much to canonically go off because Pharah is so underutilized and neglected. Her personality's pretty boilerplate "heroic hero" (she's literally inspired by Captain America).

But it's the crumbs/bits and pieces that I really latched onto. Pharah's a confirmed lesbian; her short story with Baptiste implies she harbors a crush on Mercy (fucking thank you.). She's biracial Egyptian/First Nations. She has major mommy issues, having grown up both admiring and resenting Ana. She's the bridge between Old Overwatch, inspired by the idealized heroes who surrounded her childhood, and New Overwatch. She's one of the only inter-generational characters in the cast; someone whose experiences span the gap, which is why I seriously believe Pharah would make a great main character.

There isn't much to go off of, though; she's a very uncomplicated character (she's a soldier for a private military corporation, lol.). But that just means she's a blank slate character, so I've seen fanfic writers run wild and create some really interesting takes on her. My favorite interpretation of her's a dense, herbo gym-bro type (a lot of her liens are about work outs, exercising, and playing sports) who's easily excitable under her seemingly self-serious, armored visage. We see how she tends to gloat and hype herself up when she's on a streak too, so Pharah definitely has a competitive and boastful side under her more professional and militant performance.

Now Mercy? Mercy is a real complex character.

as someone who plans on publishing their story with their ocs one day, i do gotta say, if u think your personal interpretation of a character is better than canon: make your own oc. fandom has become so entitled these days and it worries me as a story creator because if you seriously think you can write it better? than do it. but do it with your own character. my characters are written that way because i want them to be, and if you think that thats just not your cup of tea?? then literally make your own blorbos to play dolls with. you have the creative freedom to do just that. fandom gets so attached to how they personally perceive a character that people end up acting like their word is law. but it is not, canon is law, and if you want your personal taste to be canon? make your own thing. be creative. make something. its good for brain rot.

I don't understand people who say Bakugou's bullying got to extreme physical levels to the point that he would burn Deku. I get saying that for ✨️angst✨️ in fanfics, but I genuinely don't think that’s the case in canon. I think the most extreme his bullying got is exactly what we saw: verbal abuse and destruction of property. Which is still bad, by the way (this is the way I was bullied too, so I know it's not fun), but also aligns more with his personality

Bakugou may be brash and aggressive but in some ways he is also a goody too shoes. He was top of his class (still is top 3 at UA) and knew that to achieve his goals of becoming number one hero and going to UA he would need a clean record. He stops his friend from smoking next to him just in case people smell the smoke on his clothes and think he was the one doing it, he would NOT be physically hurting Deku in a way that can so obviously be traced back to him.

Even if the teachers did nothing about the bullying, students are not supposed to use their quirks in non-hero schools, so he would at least get in trouble for that. There’s a reason he waited until there were no teachers around to bully Izuku. He’s too smart to leave any evidence of it on Izuku's body, as Izuku himself points out that Bakugou telling him to kill himself was reckless because if he did do it Bakugou would get in trouble.

TLDR: please stop thinking angst fanfics are canon, Bakugou was not going around burning Deku and breaking his arms

Meet two of my ocs: Directrix (which I also use as a sona) and Vinculum. They're both space stations and data gatherers of specific data in their own fields.

I guess Directrix scrapes anything and everything about the cybertronian population. He has access to both the mass surveillance system and the Autobot database. He helps Prowl identify threats (person or event) to the current status quo.

While Vinculum is more specific to the world of politics and economics. (His owner is a politician) so he collects anything that is of interest with his owner (dirty secrets, any black mail material from both enemies and friends, trade secrets, etc), and also aids him in other equally shady things (money laundering, fraud, market manipulation, etc)

love it when a character that's hard to read intuitively for you has like a dedicated fandom interpreter who can just glance at their blank face in a panel and then give you a 3k word essay on their innermost thoughts & desires & fears and neatly tie it back into the themes & whatnot as if it's the most obvious thing in the world

I feel like it's good the show made Armand remember Marius as more of an outright abuser, because the way Rice wrote him left people interpreting his actions as way too justifiable, even though they were despicable even before. He bought Armand at 15 and changed his name. When he brought him into his place he, despite being a vampire, immediately became sexual with him, even though he knew about the trauma he endured, and felt OWNERSHIP over him. It's confirmed in his own words. Hell, he kept multiple young boys for his own entertainment. Marius can wax poetics over how much he loved Armand, but it's no different than Humbert Humbert describing the seductive nature of Lolita.
