But include a fan kid they adopt during the eyepocalypse who also remembers stuff but since they haven't really lived long enough to have so many memories they know it isn’t just a dream, they make their way to the institute from Scotland where they picked her up. (On the back burner but working a bit on this one)

When Jon finds out how to escape the institute to blind himself he goes to martin. Martin doesn't believe Jon will do it. Jon physically can't do it himself, but he asks Melanie to help him out. They blind eachother much to the anger of Jonah Magnus. (Wrote a bit for this one, haven’t posted yet)

So Martin asks Tim and Sasha “don't know, but now we gotta watch their videos” Tim says. Now they find out their boss used to be Jonny, First Mate of the aurora.

Merlin TMA fusion where Jon is Merlin, Sasha is Authur, Martin is Guinevere, and Tim is Lancelot. Jon is tasked by the dragon to keep Sasha safe, though she is a lot more competent than one would think. Along the way Martin is crushing on Jon and follows him because the smaller man is so accident prone and discovers Jon has magic. Sasha and Tim are both knights and have their “will they, won't they” banter while poking fun at Jon and Martin.

Daisy doesn’t apologize. “I'm not going to say I'm sorry,” the hunter mutters, looking away from him. “It won't make things better, but what I do want to say is I know better now, and I regret what I have done.”

The reason Elias really sends Martin to work in the archives is because he thinks Jon and Martin would be cute together and is a jmart shipper. (Crack fic)

If The Core Division Three Members Had Gaming Channels...

Kafka Hibino {A.K.A ComfyManGaming}: Mainly Shop Management Sims or just Sims in general. His most popular series and the one that let him go full time as a content creator was his Power Wash sim Story Time where he got to talk about the craziest things that happened to him in his, like, six different cleaning jobs. ( In order; Landscaper, personal maid service, High rise window washer [tied for origin for most of his craziest stories], Nuclear Power Plant Office janitor, Failed attempt at running his own power wash service, and School Janitor with a car detail side job. {Most recent/longest held job/and also tied for craziest story origin generator with Car Detail Horror stories being second). Can be convinced to play atmospheric games like Journey/Abzu/Fire Watch/Anything thought provoking or emotional.

Reno Ihchikawa{A.K.A IchyChill Breakdowns}: Whatever Windette does, but with less insults. Basically Build Breakdowns and Speedrun Tutorials. Carried with the energy of a tired Indian Math teacher trying to teach calculus to 8th graders. Is also [technically] a PNG tuber, but because he's low energy, the PNG doesn't move much.

Iharu Haruichi {A.K.A SharkBAIT}: Two Channels. One is a horror game channel, Both Indi and Triple A. The other is anything casual, but mainly sticks to Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing, Coral Island, that sort of thing. Fans like to call the Horror one Anxiety and the non-horror one Anti-Anxiety(Each have their own mascots and like to fight each other like Jacksepticeye and Antisepticeye). He has absolutely accidentally cross posted horror vids onto the non horror channel and vice-versa. The community like to pretend that they don't interact with the other channels and when that sort of thing happens, they pretend they've been exposed to horrors beyond comprehension. (yes, even when the horror channel gets a cutesy vid)

Mina Ashiro{ A.K.A Can(n)onGodess/Pr3ttyW1ttl3K1tty}: Also Two channels, but actively makes sure that no one knows she runs both. One is a live stream of FPS set up as no-commentary/with camera (Mainly colorful ones like Valorant). The other is also no commentary with NO camera and its Sim 3 or 4 tips-and-tricks and Minecraft Aesthetic House Build (Mod and No Mod.)

Kikrou Shinomya:{A.K.A Can_It_Doom?} A STEM major that couldn't find a use for her degree as fast as she liked, so she started a Can it Run Doom? channel as a joke, and now it's evolved into a channel where people recommend different setups like Drumset Controler on a Texas TI-84 Graphing Calculator. (Is also currently in the middle of working on a live action Tank Setup for World of Tanks as a subscriber goal.)

Hoshina Soshiro{A.K.A SwordSingerSUPREME} Any game that involves sword fighting and critiques it either Accurately or HARSHLY. Also streams his HEMA training/tournaments. It's very popular (because everyone find him hot) and has since become a bit of an eclectic channel that is split between his Gaming vids, his HEMA vids, and P.O Box unboxing vids where people send him A LOT of gifts. There's also an over an hour video of him playing Let's Hit Each Other With Fake Swords the Card Game with his older brother (who is also in HEMA.) that he made when the channel hit 5 million subscribers.

Gen Narumi{A.K.A xXGenNarumi420Xx}: Plays anything that's currently trending, but his bread and butter is FPS or Run and Guns. (Has confessed to saying "Would" to the Ultrakill Robot.)

Okonogi Konomi{A.K.A BlossomBear}: Indi VTuber that plays exclusively Indi Puzzle games or Puzzle Platformers. Isn't a singing VTuber so much as one that can and will go in-depth on programming and what goes into a VTube model (She made hers and it has two forms : a chibi, curly white haired, anthro bear girl and a white plushi version with orange blossom motifs.) Can and has demonstrated to be an absolute GOD at Minesweeper

Minase{A.K.A MinAction}: A anime/movie/Western Animation reaction channel. Has an uncanny habit of predicting things before they should be obvious.

Hakua{A.K.A HakuaKooksXP} A cooking channel whose shtick is 1000 Ways To Prepare [Insert Food Here.]. She's still currently working her way through rice.

Not to be too personal or too much of a sad bastard but

Happy Father’s Day to Professor Layton, Miles Edgeworth, and Kyle Hyde.

These characters were the ones that were there for me when my real father wasn’t. I know they’re not real, and Kyle especially would HATE that I’m including him in this, but when I was a little kid peering around the curtain to see if my father was at my recital and always seeing an empty chair next to my mom, I always knew that those three would always be there for me, if I just turned on my DS.

They never let me down and if I am a kind, considerate person, if I am a true gentleman, if I believe in justice and that standing up for others is important but not as important as standing with others, if I believe in second chances and forgiveness and the infinite nuance in people and their ability to change and be better… it is because of the example set by these characters. They’re not perfect but they’re actively trying and they make me believe that I can, too. That even when I’m not being the kind of person they’d be proud of, that I can still try a little harder and it’s never too late to start anew.

So yeah. Happy Father’s Day to Professor Layton, Edgeworth, and Kyle. 🤎🩷🖤 And especially to my biological father, I wish him a Father’s Day. I hope wherever he is, he’s having a day. ❤️

A series of headcanons:

Victor Deslandes was a Gifted Child™ in elementary school, and hit burnout in middle school.

Sam Deslandes was a Gifted Child™ in middle school, and hit burnout in high school.

Bilal Belkebirs was canonically highly academically and professionally successful before time traveling back to save his friends. However, in the post-canon timeline, he experiences burnout in university due to feeling somewhat directionless.

Romane Berthauds, in the timeline she and Victor traveled back from, had no friends and decided to focus most of her time and effort into academic success. The Romane from Bilal's timeline also put a lot of effort into schoolwork, but after her mom died, her studying habits became really unhealthy and excessive as she tried to cope with the loss. Post-canon Romane does not experience academic burnout (she has sooo many other problems, though). However, the Romane from Bilal's timeline (who the show unfortunately doesn't acknowledge again) will have a midlife crisis at some point.

So I was back to subbing at the elementary school today, which as I've mentioned is my favorite place to work. In some ways it's just the most comfortable to me; this is now my fourth year in a row I've had some kind of job associated with kids of that age group who attend that school, so I know a lot of the students and faculty. Actually, a lot of the faculty who work there today have been working there since I was a student.

Most of them recognized me immediately when I started showing my face there, like I didn't graduate from there over a decade ago, age 11. There was one para, who now works as a library assistant, but who used to monitor lunch and recess. I didn't remember her name but I knew her face. The first time she saw me subbing she was just like "oh, hi Diana."

I was talking to her this morning before school started because a first grade teacher unexpectedly called out, so I filled in for her for the first hour of the day before I started the job I clocked in for and a replacement could be found. But this library assistant usually leads the morning meetings with this first grade class and would help me with attendance and all those other beginning-of-the-day responsibilities.

She was saying to me "You know, why don't you work here full time? You're good with kids. You'd be good at it." In other small talk we'd had last year she had asked me similar things, like if I'd ever consider taking up a steady job at the elementary school, how my school was going, etc. I'm in between college right now but currently not taking classes. And I mentioned how I'm trying to take more sub jobs at the middle and high school so I get more well-rounded—that actually is the age group my education major is in. I've been working with the preschool-to-fifth-grade age range but my plan has always been middle-to-high school English.

And I was telling her about that, and I was like "You know what? When I tell people I want to teach older kids, some say to me stuff like 'oh you never know, you might change your mind'—and only recently I've been wondering if I really would. But I hate it when they're right!"

And that made her laugh. But it's true! I do really love working with the littles, as it turns out. Been doing it several years now. But in terms of anyone who's ever mentioned that to me unprompted, I wanna be like... hey, what do you know?!?!

how exactly did nova & paro make optico??? a shape shifting robot sounds pretty difficult to make for a 14/15 yo kid, even if hes super talented with robotics. or is this a normal thing in the UE universe??

i honeslty don't know how to explain this one because i haven't entirely thought it through myself :_:,,, but the main part of optico that makes his abilities 'believeable' per se is that he was made from an old computer! the only parts that were actually properly built by paro were his transformation forms (only hammer and roller skates in the beginning of the series), which were rudimentary at first and were eventually upgraded and worked on as he and nova improved at robotics and designing. also bringing some seriously unrealistic sci-fi into the mix, but i think maybe optico has some sort of compartment that compresses the parts unique to certain transformations inside of him, which is why he's so small
