"Do you believe in soulmates?"

The question makes Law pause where he's in the middle of reading about a blood-borne pathogen, looking up and over. Splayed out over his bed with your own book in your hand, you stare back. He frowns.

"Why are you asking?"

You shrug. "It's in this book," you say, "It's talking about how there's different ways to look at it. If they're two pieces of the same soul just separated and always trying to make it back to each other, or if something called a string of fate ties them together."

Law makes a noise in the back of his throat. "That sounds ridiculous."

"So you don't believe in them?"

"No." He watches you for a moment, studying you. "Do you?"

You hum, lifting one of your hands and focusing on your pinky. You can almost see it, the neat knot of red tied around the knuckle, string that loops and weaves aimlessly through the air. If such a thing exists, you wonder where it leads, then about where you wish it would.

"No," you answer at last, "I suppose I don't."

If Law lets himself think about fate tying you to him with red string, it's far less romantic. But there must be something that keeps you in his orbit, silent pull to bind you to him.

It scares him. Scares him for how badly he wants to let you in, expose soft underbelly and trust you won't sink your teeth in and rip it all apart.

The push and pull is how he copes with it even though he knows it's unfair to you ㅡ taunts you with what could be, then pushes you away. Open and shut, over and over.

You're tired of it, he knows that. So he apologizes, not sure what exactly he's sorry for. Sorry that he only knows how to take and less how to give, that he only knows how to lose.

You understand that. He knows, you've told him before. But even you have your limits. "I will have you without armor, Law," you tell him, "or I will not have you at all."

He knows it isn't fair to you. But he wishes things were different, that he were different ㅡ and that when he lets himself think about that red string, it wasn't wrapped around your throat.

Law's emotions are a house of cards and his defenses a glass house ㅡ and all it takes for both to crumble is, of course, almost losing you.

It's through no fault of his own, but he still feels sick as he dabs at the blood threatening to drip down into your eye.

"What you did was beyond reckless," he scolds sharply, wraps soft worry in barbed wire, "if you'd stuck to the damn plan, you wouldn't have gotten hurt."

"Sometimes you have to improvise." He gets the feeling you're not just talking about the situation at hand, but he doesn't care to analyze it at the moment.

"Whatever. You sound like that idiot Strawhat." He wants to keep scolding you, hammer home just how dumb you've been ㅡ but you're watching him, and the thin rubberband of his patience snaps.

The kiss is far from gentle. It's messy and clumsy, tastes a little like blood and gunpowder, but that hardly matters when you're kissing him back with the same kind of desperation.

ㅡ

Law doesn't put much weight in the idea of soulmates. It's a romantic connection at best and baseless for proof at worst, straddling somewhere in the middle.

But he supposes he does like the idea that you've always been meant for him, and he for you ㅡ that orbit gets easier to accept when he puts it that way. Or perhaps the atoms that make the two of you up have simply existed together for long enough in the grand scheme of things to echo through, even now.

You laugh when he tells you that, reaching to tug at a lock of his unruly hair. "Putting a scientific spin on it takes the romance out of it, Law."

His eyes flick to your lips and back. "Does it matter?"

Your expression turns thoughtful. "No, I suppose it doesn't." If you want to say more, Law doesn't know because he leans in to kiss you.

Be that you're a soul split in half trying to reunite or truly woven together by a thin red string, Law doesn't know.

What he does know is that you're in his bed, kissing him back, and that's all that matters.

The scene was almost comical. Chan was heavily immersed in his work, drowning out the background noise as the rest of 3RACHA, Changbin and Jisung, were throwing pillows at each other while giggling loudly.

Chris groaned loudly. "You do know you're supposed to be working, right?" He commented, swinging his head around dramatically as the other two boys mocked him, giggling in between.

"C'mon hyung, loosen up a bit! "Jisung yelled, bouncing up and down on the bed.

“Yeah, we've been working so much recently. You could use a break too!" Changbin giggled, hugging the grumpy kangaroo from behind.

Chris cursed himself for allowing the younger boys 6 cupcakes earlier. It was almost impossible to focus on anything when they were practically bouncing off the walls in a sugar rush.

‘Maybe I do need a break. It’s been a while since I had fun with-’

"Ah!" Chan shrieked as a pillow hit him hard in the back of his head. He spun around and glared at a very guilty Han, who was trying to act innocent.

Chris slammed his laptop shut. Oh it was SO on.

Jisung was tackled by a very giggly kangaroo seconds later. He could hear Changbin’s happy cheering in the background as he wrestled playfully with Chan, adrenaline rushing through his body as the two boys fought for the upper hand.

Finally, Chris managed to straddle Han’s waist, cackling evilly as he raised a pillow over his head, seconds away from bringing it down on the defenseless quokka.

Jisung could hear Changbin’s dramatic gasp and commentary in the background. So Han did the only thing he could. His hands shot down and massaged into the sensitive hips of the older, smiling as the boy promptly cackled and collapsed next to Jisung, dropping the pillow as his arms desperately shot down to protect his poor torso.

Jisung knew he had made a mistake. It wouldn't take much for the kangaroo to tickle him to tears while defenseless. He needed to make the first move.

Han motioned to Changbin to help him while he struggled to pin Chan down.

“Hmmm…why should I help you?" Changbin reasoned. Jisung became frantic. Just the mere thought of the boys overpowering him made him shiver. 

“Uh- Remember when Chan hyung held your arms down when Minho hyung got revenge on you for tickling him yesterday? Don't you want revenge?" Han questioned as the bunny flushed bright red at the mention of him getting wrecked.

“Ugh. Fine." Bin gave in, flashing Chan a bright smile when the older squealed in fear.

Changbin was easily able to push Chris down, rip his arms away from his sides and hold them high above his head.

"No! No, this isn't fahahair! STAHAHAP YOUHU MEHEHEANIES!" Chan screeched loudly as Jisung dug his fingers into the older's hypersensitive sides. The poor boy bucked up and down as he laughed, face tinted red.

After a while, Changbin felt a little sorry for the eldest.He decided to grant him a little freedom, letting go of his arms and scrambling a few feet away.

Han looked at the bunny in complete betrayal. “You little-hahahah!" Jisung yelled as Chan

scribbled his fingers wherever he could reach. Changbin approached slowly, before suddenly digging into Han’s back ribs from behind.

Jisung twisted side to side, hysterically laughing as he crumbled under the two pairs of hands tickling him.

"PLEASE GUHUHUYS IM SAHAHARRY AHAHA NAHAT THERE!" Jisung screeched as Chan's fingers found their way to the ace's belly button.

Soon enough, Chan let up, followed by Bin as Jisung panted for air.

"Hey Jisung!" Chan called cheerfully. "What is it?" Jisung responded.

“Don't you think it's a little unfair that our dear dwaekki was involved in this fight but hasn't been tickled yet?” Chan questioned, glancing at the younger while speaking.

"You're right." Jisung flashed a very nervous Changbin a very evil smile.

"Wait wait. We can talk this out. There's no need to- AHHHH!" Changbin screamed as Chan very suddenly bolted at the younger, Han following close behind.

The three boys ran through the dorm, starting a very dramatic chase as a very frantic Changbin was pursued by two vengeful men.

However, it was all over when suddenly Minho casually appears around the corner and catches hold of Changbin’s wrists.

“Wha-HEY! Let me go!” Bin yelled. "No can do. This is what you get for tickling me earlier." Minho responded as he handed the boy's wrists to a very satisfied Chris. 

"He's all yours now! See ya!" Minho walked back to his room.

Chan threw the shorter over his shoulder, not even fazed when the rapper pounded on his back, pleading for mercy.

"Oh! You caught him!" Han exclaimed, delighted. "Yup. And now we're gonna wreck him. Right Binnie?" 

"NOOO!" Changbin screeched as Chan pinned him down with his arms stretched high above his head.

"Wait! You don't have to do this!" Bin yelled, squeezing his eyes shut when Chan wiggled his fingers at him from above his head.

"Too late!" Jisung responded, digging his fingers into the rapper's tummy, immediately lifting his shirt and blowing a long raspberry right on his belly button.

“YAHAHAHA!" Bin choked on another peal of laughter forcing its way out his throat.

Chan joined in, blowing air in Changbin’s ears as his fingers wiggled deep in the crevices of the boy’s bare ribs, as Bin’s shirt had ridden up earlier.

Changbin was thrown into hysterics almost immediately, the two pairs of hands roaming his body reducing him into an incoherent mess.

“PLEHEHEASE IHIHIM SAHAHAHARRY! STAHAP STAHAHAHAP YOUHU BUHULLIHIES!” Changbin let out one last burst of cute cackles before his laughter went silent, and Chan let go of his arms out of pure pity for the boy.

Changbin promptly shot his arms down as he pushed at Jisung's wrists desperately.

When Jisung didn't let up, the bunny knew he had to stop the younger himself. He pushed his fingers and vibrated hard into what he assumed was the younger's v-line.

Han let out a loud shriek. "OKAHAHAY IM DOHOHONE! Don't tickle me!" He finally let up.

The three boys lay exhausted on the bed. Chan lastly traced the hangul of his name on Jisung's stomach and Changbin’s ribs, loving the cute giggles the two breathed out.

It had been a long day. So the boys took a well deserved nap.

no school today so yay! i don't really have anything urgent to "catch up" on but i've fallen severely behind on my own study plan. considering i don't go to any extra tuition/coaching, i need to be disciplined in my time management and hold myself accountable to the reasonable plans i made for myself. i'm not in too deep though so all i need to do now is get back on track.

enough is enough with my procrastination towards studying. i mean i even watch study motivation videos on youtube instead of studying! so i just made a cup of coffee and dived straight into work.

studied psychology ch-1: what is psychology?

something to say: the ncert psychology textbook is actual nonsense. thank god for my teacher, he actually explains each concept mentioned in the textbook and so much more. if it wasn't for his classes, i don't think i would have understood literally anything in the textbook. the fact that he's most probably leaving next year is kinda making me anxious because what if the next teacher is absolute shit. this is a subject that involves lots of theory and long lectures. my current teacher is very animated in his discussions and he also involves us students too. it's never a boring class. but if the next teacher is boring i will literally start hating the class, and i don't want that to happen considering i love this subject and am actually planning on pursuing it in the future.

also akjsdfhkjashgdjkg sigmund freud, that man, istg, is gonna haunt me for the rest of my life.

it really grates on my skin if my room is dusty. and that easy annoyance combined with being a maximalist who loves trinkets is not a good combination. the universe decided to make me a walking contradiction, in many areas of my life. i make it a thing to clean my room at least once every week.

rehearsal yesterday was the funniest shit ever-

i got shouted at called a liar, screamed at , in my face refusing to leave or stop

i said no - one , and i swore to god later that i wasnt talling ti anyone or anything i genuinly wasnt i was watching youtube with my earphones in.

and we ended uo having a huge arguement where he kept calling me a liar and gaslighter (he is the FUCKIN gaslighter) accusing me nonstop, forcefully making me show him my phone, all my apps, all my recent calls and messages to ‘prove’ it and angrily saying i was and he DEFINTLEY heard it and im a fkn liar over and over saying to me’ youre calling me crazy’ BECAUSE I WAS SAYING I WASNT SPEAKING AT ALL, WHICH IS THE TRUTH. i have no reason to lie about that, who tf wiuld i be talking to?! and even if i was why does he give a fuck?!? im not allowed to speak? what if i was?

but i wasnt i swore on everything i showed him all my calls, messages he still wouldnt believe me and was right up in my face screaming im a liar for like an hour i was shaking from anxiety because that cunt was interrogating me and insulting me and refusing to leave my room. he wouldnt stop and demanding to know what i was watching etc etc saying im so secretive all the time and im up to sometjing and as an excuse he was like u used to talk to grown men bla bla when i was fucking younger

this pueve of shit. i didnt want an arguement he ALWAYS COMES LOOKING FOR ONE FROM ME MY MOTHER OR MY DAD. he yelled and screamed and smashed stuff to my mother the other day too i forgot why for no legit reason (but theres no legit reason to do that anyway,still)

he always looks for an arguement he is extremely aggresive pushy he has NO RESPECT FOR BOUNDARIES THEY DONT EXIST FOR HIM

i cut, got a new razor a few weeks ago, its really sharp so some were deep.. i was seriously gonna k*ll myself lastmight, stayed up till 2 in the morning , took 5 of my (prescribed) pills but youre not supposed to take even 2 at the same time

i was tweaking tf out it gave me involuntry movements, RVERYTHING FELT LIKE A DREAM ISTG i couldnt type at all it was gibberish because i eas fully out of it

weirdest experience ever but i had to because i was freaking out from everything

and my dad just defends him basically he says hes an asshole but then says im overreacting and its not a problem cuz hes not always like that

HA! on a daily basis he screams and goes crazy on me my mother or dad over the stupidest thing hes a manchild

i wanna die so bad. i cant take anymore these fucking people

Back to office. Since Im not well, it still feels extremely cold despite wearing two layers of clothes.. Ate lunk in my car to just to warm myself up and have a nap 🤕

Came home to the purses I bought from Shoppee to hold my post-whitebox but it's too tiny 😂 However, it fits my cards nicely, so will be using it for my cards instead. I think it's cute, I may buy more of them as gifts for my nieces for next year's Raya.

Woke up late! (because of yesterday's excursion..)

Lunked with Mom. I felt bad that she was mostly alone this weekend. Right after Zohor, Dad called saying he'll reach Taman Tun in a short while. Thinking there would still be traffic and that he would not arrive anytime soon, I took my own sweet time getting ready and even went to pump petrol first, but it turned out that he has been waiting for me for the past 30mins..

It's so cute listening to his updates, Im glad he had fun at the reunion. Dad gets really involved in all of the things that he does and I dont think I have ever seen him doing things half-assed.

Dropped Dad off at home and I went to the workshop to finally install the new camera I got for the car. The labour fee was $$$ I was shocked but I am too lazy to browse for other places so I just said ok and paid the price.

Stopped by grocers afterwards for Dad's tamar and my Boost. I think I was supposed to buy something else but Istg for the life of me I cannot recall what I was supposed to get. Sigh.

A few more days until 2121's birthday!

Nothing makes me angrier than when someone who was supposed to do dishes doesn't. And then leaves them for you to do the next day.

THIS BITCH (my bonus dad) REALLY FUCKING SAID "It's your night to do dishes btw" before he left for work for the night.

And i was like, okay. Like I wasn't stressing it. Because me sleep schedule was sent straight from hell, I don't do dishes until around anywhere from 1 am to 5 am since I sleep in the day from 4-7 am to 1-4 pm. (It's 3:45 am now)

But it still had dishes from yesterday?? When it was, in fact, your night??? Literally had dishes from when you tried to grill hotdogs?? Then more dishes from when you had to switch to the stove cause you couldn't work the grill??

Nothing will piss me off more, istg.

i also got a new diamond nose stud for my nose piercing😋😋 i still remember the pain from when i got my nose pierced in june.. i wish i did it by needle instead cuz i did it by gun and that shit was PAINFUL like tears were coming out of my eyes.. and my other ear piercings literallt did not hurt AT ALL.

i’m trying so hard not to drop the friend group that my twin friends are in.. like i personally don’t like the people they’re friends with because of some circumstances but i just don’t like being around those people since they’re bad influences.. i’m thinking i can just keep talking to one of twins since she’s like my close friend but just not hangout with her during lunch since she’s always with her brother and that friend group IDFK WHAT TO DOOOO😫😫😫😫
