"You are?"
Pairings: Harua x Reader
Word count: 3,554 words
warnings: NONE (Just Harua being cute and Jungwon being an annoying brother)
-
"Yah, Jungwon-ah. Can you pass me the water bottle?" you called out, your voice slightly strained from the split position you were attempting. Sweat dripped down your forehead as you stretched your body from left to right, feeling the tension in your hamstrings and thighs almost threatening to tear you apart.
“Jungwon-ah…” Jungwon scoffed, threatening to hit you with the water bottle. Looking up at him, you offered an apologetic smile and a peace sign.
"I meant 'Jungwon oppa'," you clarified, voice filled with a mix of amusement and exasperation. With a swift motion, you snatched the water bottle from his hands and brought it to your lips, drinking in large gulps. The cool water provided some relief, but the discomfort in your muscles lingered.
Feeling a surge of tiredness, you asked Jungwon for assistance in getting up. But, you felt his hands on your left foot, pulling it outward instead. The intense stretch hit you like a bolt of lightning, and a sharp cry of pain escaped your lips. You couldn't help but lash out at him, nudging his shoulders in an attempt to make him stop.
"Motherfu-" you exclaimed, the words cut short as you swiftly swung your water bottle, hitting Jungwon in the arm. He jerked back, eyes widening in surprise as he rose from the floor like a zombie emerging from its grave.
A snort escaped your lips, a mix of amusement and frustration at the situation. "Hey! I was just helping you do the split position properly!" Jungwon protested, clearly taken aback by your reaction. He grabbed you by the shoulders, exerting his strength as he threw your body onto the nearby couch.
Not one to back down easily, you wriggled free from his grip and stood defiantly beside the couch. You placed your hands on your waist. The irritation was evident in your voice as you looked at Jungwon with disbelief. "Did I ask for your help?" you questioned, a touch of sarcasm tainting your words. "Anyways, you said it would only take 5 minutes! Hello? It's been 45 minutes already! Mom and dad are waiting!"
Jungwon flicked your forehead. "You're so impatient," he remarked.
You couldn't help but roll your eyes. "Wow. Now I'm the impatient one," you retorted, the sarcasm dripping from your words.
Jungwon shrugged nonchalantly, seemingly unfazed. "I told you! I'm just waiting for someone. He's going to drop something off for me," he explained.
An incredulous expression crossed your face as you stared at him. "What? Is it really that important? Dinner starts at 8:00 PM. It's already 7:55 PM," you reminded him, a note of exasperation in your voice. Squinting your eyes at him, you continued, "You know what? Suit yourself. I'm going to go. I'm so hungry I could eat a horse."
You quickly slipped on your school shoes and grabbed your backpack. But just as you were about to make your exit, Jungwon swiftly blocked your way with his foot, causing you to stumble slightly. To add salt to injury, you could hear him barely containing his laughter.
You shot him a piercing glare, struggling to maintain your composure and resisting the urge to kick him. "Stay here. I'll just get it myself," Jungwon declared, not even waiting for you to voice your opinion as he swiftly jogged out of the dance practice room, leaving you alone and irritated.
You couldn't help but shake your head in disbelief. People adored Jungwon so much, but if you had the chance, you would gladly banish his existence far far away from yours.
So much for an older brother, you guess.
You sighed.
If you were going to skip dinner tonight, you would make sure Jungwon treated you to food for the next two weeks.
You reached for your phone and texted your mom, letting her know that you and Jungwon might be late for dinner. Once the message was sent, you took off your bag and returned to the spot where you were practicing your split. Slowly easing yourself back into the position, you could feel the strain on your muscles as you pushed yourself to perfect it. Your heart was set on acing your upcoming monthly evaluation and debuting as soon as possible.
Counting silently in your head, you switched positions, carefully stretching your muscles. As you focused on your training, fully engrossed in your pursuit of perfection, a sudden knock on the door broke the silence of the empty practice room.
"Sunbaenim? Are you here?" a voice, reminiscent of a character from an anime, echoed through the room, piquing your curiosity. Swiftly turning your head, you scanned the space to locate the source of the voice.
Your gaze landed on a cute and lanky figure standing by the doorframe. He wore a purple flannel over a plain white shirt, his jet-black hair perfectly complementing his lips, which were shaded with just the right amount of red. His eyes held a twinkle, as if they held the brightest and prettiest stars in the universe. Overall his aura screamed… innocence.
Unbeknownst to you, you held your breath, completely entranced by his presence.
The owner of the voice bowed politely to acknowledge your presence, offering you a cute boyish smile. His eyes scanned the empty practice room, sparkling with curiosity and wonder. It was as if he saw something magical in the mundane surroundings. "Hello. By any chance, have you seen where Jungwon sunbaenim went?" he asked in fluent Japanese, his words flowing like a melody. Although you were familiar with the language, there was something about his voice that made your heart flutter.
Snapping back to reality, you realized that you had been gawking at him for far too long. Shaking off the trance, you quickly responded, "You are?" The words slipped out, tinged with a mix of embarrassment and curiosity.
He cleared his throat, apologizing for his earlier intrusion. Now speaking in Korean, he introduced himself, "I'm Harua. Nice to meet you..." He paused, waiting for you to share your name.
"Y/N. I'm Jungwon's sister," you replied, rising from your split position and walking toward him. Determined to assert yourself, you added, "What do you want from my brother?" There was a hint of intimidation in your voice, causing Harua to back down slightly, as if he were a deer caught in headlights.
You noticed his gulp, and his cautious demeanor only made him appear more endearing, like a lost puppy.
Cute.
"Uh... I need to give him this... Noona? [Term used to refer to a female that's older that you when you are a male]" He said quite unsure. You shook your head.
Noona? You looked like a Noona while wearing this high school uniform? Or, was he actually that young?
"Year?" You stretched out your hands and signalled him to give you what he was supposed to give Jungwon. He handed it to you frantically. A plushie. "Year?" You repeated as you surveyed the brown bear in your hands. This was it? The thing that kept Jungwon from leaving early?
You looked up when you heard nothing from Harua.
"I said what year." You repeated again but he just looked at you like a lost puppy. You sighed, trying your best to refrain from wanting to pinch his cheeks. "I meant what year were you born." You clarified and you saw how his seemingly constricted face immediately brightening when he understood what you meant.
"2005." He replied grimly.
You nodded, taking note of the age difference between you. "I was born in 2006, specifically on September 1st, 2006. I'm not your 'noona,'" you explained, emphasizing the age gap between you.
He nodded but almost immediately looked confused again.
"Huh? I thought Jungwon sunbaenim only has an older sister?" He uttered, scanning your face as if he was deciphering codes.
You were taken aback by his knowledge of Jungwon's family situation. How did he know that Jungwon had an older sister? Your curiosity piqued, and you decided to divulge a bit more about your relationship with Jungwon. "Well, I'm a trainee under this company. Even though I don't like to admit it, Jungwon and I..." you pointed to your face and the small poster of Jungwon on the wall. "We basically look like twins," you explained. Seeing Harua squint his eyes and mouth the word 'right,' you knew he had connected the dots.
"Moreover, my surname is also Yang. If I were to debut as an idol, people would put two and two together and realize that we're siblings." You added and he nodded. He seemed to grasp the situation, acknowledging the need to keep your relationship hidden from the public. "So, to avoid unnecessary drama, the company advised Jungwon oppa not to disclose that he has a younger sibling."
"That makes sense," His response resonated with you, and you nodded in agreement. "It must be cool having Jungwon sunbaenim as an older brother," Harua said dreamily.
You couldn't help but cringe at his words. "Yeah, I'm so lucky," you replied sarcastically, unable to hide your skepticism. Being Jungwon's sister had its moments, but it also came with its fair share of annoyances.
Wanting to shift the focus, you changed the topic. "Anyways, you're from &team, right?" you asked, recognizing his affiliation with the group. Harua's eyes widened in surprise, clearly not expecting you to know which group he belonged to. As an unfamiliar face, you assumed he had recently debuted. You were aware that Maki, your friend, had recently debuted in &team, allowing you to connect the dots. It wasn't rocket science; it was simple deduction. But Harua is making it seem like you just revealed the secrets of the universe.
"Ah yes." He bowed again smiling from eye to eye.
Then, an awkward silence settled between you. Uncertain of how to continue the conversation, you felt the need to keep it going a little longer. "You know Maki?" you asked, knowing the answer but wanting to hear it from him.
Harua nodded, confirming your assumption. "We're from the same team," he replied, pride evident in his voice.
Then again, the two of you stood there staring at each other, unsure of what to say next.
You could just resume to what you were doing, you know. But somehow, you really want to converse with him.
"Are you going to leave or what?" Instantly regretting your choice of words, you saw how Harua was taken aback by your abruptness. Mentally slapping yourself, you quickly corrected your statement. "Oh, sorry. What I meant was, are you going to leave already, and I'll give this to Jungwon, or do you want to wait here for him to come back and give it to him yourself?"
Harua visibly relaxed at your clarification, his relief evident. "Is it okay if I wait here?" he cautiously asked, and you nodded, almost too enthusiastically. A weight seemed to lift off his shoulders, and he bowed in gratitude. "Thank you," he said sincerely, and you nodded in acknowledgment.
"Do you know how to do a split?" you asked.
Harua's smile brightened, and your heart skipped a beat at the sight.
"Yes," he replied confidently, and you couldn't help but be intrigued.
"Really?" you gasped, unable to hide your surprise.
"I'm really good at it if I say so myself," Harua said, nodding affirmatively.
"Can you teach me?"
Harua nodded once again and walked toward you. You observed him removing his bag and jacket and as he slowly eased to a splitting position. As you were observing him, you noticed that he had four visible moles. One on his nose and three on his neck. You could also see his earrings dangling back and forth as he lowered.
You instantly looked away when he looked your way.
You coughed.
"Yours looks fine, but if you tilt your body a little like this, it makes it much easier to stretch," Harua instructed, gracefully demonstrating the proper form. "But I'm not an expert, okay? I just learned this from our dance trainor," he added, offering a disclaimer.
You nodded, eagerly attempting to replicate his movements. However, it quickly became apparent that it wasn't as easy as Harua made it look. Frustration washed over you, and you couldn't help but whine, "How do you do that? How are you that good?"
"We used to practice this whilst training." Harua explained. His gaze was fixated on your form and you can’t help but feel your cheeks burning slightly. Was he judging your position? What if he’s laughing at you mentally right now?
Wanting to shift the focus, you asked, "What year did you start training?"
"2018," Harua replied without lifting his gaze, his attention still focused on your form.
Amidst the silence, you couldn't help but joke, "Yo, sunbaenim." But you immediately winced, feeling the strain in your muscles. "Why does it feel like my hamstrings are being torn apart? Is this normal?" you inquired. It genuinely felt like you were about to give birth to a full-sized basketball.
Harua looked at you hesitantly, struggling to find the right words. Concerned for your well-being, he decided to provide guidance. "Stretch your legs like this," Harua instructed, mimicking the proper technique. As you tried to mimic his movements, a sharp cry of pain escaped your lips. "This isn't working," you sighed in defeat.
Harua, his concern growing, looked at you intently. "Is it okay if I touch your shoes?" he asked, meeting your gaze.
His eyes seemed to hold a mesmerizing power over you, and you found yourself nodding unconsciously. It felt as if time stood still as Harua gently adjusted your left foot.
Dugdug.
Dugdug.
Your heart pounded in your chest, and a smile began to creep across your face. Harua's touch and the intensity of his gaze had left you feeling exhilarated, a warmth spreading through your body. You were momentarily lost in the moment, captivated by his presence.
Suddenly, Harua's voice snapped you back to reality. "There! It doesn't feel as bad, right?" he said, looking at you expectantly.
Dugdug.
Dugdug.
You coughed, attempting to compose yourself. "Ah, yes. I don't feel any pain," you stammered, trying to steady your voice.
Harua's smile brightened at your response, his enthusiasm evident.
"That's great!" Harua replied, his tone filled with genuine excitement. His expressive eyes once again captured your attention, causing a smile to grace your lips too. You couldn't help but wonder what was happening to you—why you felt this way around him.
Just as you were about to express your gratitude to Harua, the door swung open, and Jungwon's voice filled the room. Startled, you quickly stood up, and Harua followed suit.
"What were you guys doing?" Jungwon asked, his gaze shifting between the two of you.
"Splits!" You and Harua replied simultaneously, the words escaping your lips before you had a chance to think. You immediately regretted your response, realizing that this would undoubtedly fuel Jungwon's teasing.
Jungwon smirked, his eyes filled with a cryptic gleam as he looked at you. His raised eyebrows suggested that he had caught onto something, and then he turned his gaze toward Harua. Harua coughed, clearly uncomfortable with the situation.
“Sunbaenim…” Harua bowed to greet Jungwon.
Jungwon smiled.
“Harua-kun. You know? She’s really stubborn and hot headed. One time, she pushed me off my chair when I was-“
“Oppa! What are you doing!” you cut him off, shooting daggers towards his direction.
“I’m scaring him away.” Jungwon replied with a mischievious grin on his face.
“Wha-“ You looked at him in disbelief.
Harua coughed. You looked at his way and you were hit with a new wave of embarrassment.
You took a deep breath and calmed yourself down.
Feeling a mix of embarrassment and annoyance, you decided it was time to make your exit. "I'll wait for you in the lobby," you announced, turning to face your older brother. The atmosphere in the room was becoming too awkward for your liking. "Thank you, Harua," you turned your gaze towards Harua now.
You grabbed your bag and wore your shoes first before walking towards the door.
“Yang Jungwon I hate you.” you mouthed towards your brother as you swiftly made your way out of the dance practice room, eager to escape the lingering tension.
Just wait when we get back home, Yang Jungwon.

Alright Then
Harua stared at you, his eyes filled with a mix of disbelief and resignation. His words hung heavy in the air, cutting through the tension that surrounded you both. "So, in the short term, you're whoring me out to your friend," he said, his voice laced with bitterness.
You rolled your eyes, exasperated by his reaction. "You make it sound so wrong," you replied, swatting his hands away from your forehead. "Come on, Harua. She likes you... I like her brother. It's a win-win situation." Trying to lighten the mood, you nudged him lightly.
But Harua sighed, his shoulders slumping. He looked down at his feet, swaying contently beneath him. "How is it a win-win situation?" he asked, his sulky tone betraying his inner turmoil. "You've never even asked me who I like." His tone became more serious as he sat up straight, and you suddenly felt the weight of his head on top of your shoulders.
"Yah! It's not like you're going to tell me anything even if I did!" you retorted, resting your head on top of his too. You could feel his frown against your cheek. "Don't be dramatic. It's just a date."
"I don't even know her," Harua whispered, his voice almost lost in the air.
"Yeah, but she's smart, kind, pretty, and really funny," you replied, trying to convince him. "I promise you guys would click in an instant."
Harua moved his head away from your shoulder, lightly bumping your cheeks in the process. "Why are you doing this to me?" he said, his voice tinged with hysteria. He looked at you with a mixture of confusion and longing, like a lost puppy seeking guidance.
"She really likes you, and I'm sure you'll like her too," you reassured him, patting his shoulders and clasping your hands together in a pleading gesture. Desperation tinged your voice as you pleaded with him, driven by your unrequited crush on his bandmate Jo and the need to move on. "Please, Harua. I'm begging you."
Harua's gaze remained fixed on your face, an inscrutable expression playing across his features. He scrutinized you for what felt like an eternity, and then his eyes turned vacant as he stared blankly at the sky. There was something about his silence that made your heart sink.
"Don't you think listening to you talk about Jo-kun dreamily almost every day is torture enough?" Harua's voice broke, his words laced with a hint of anger that cut through the air. The pain in his voice was palpable.
Startled, you tried to defend yourself. "Yah, Shigeta. You're the one who's always asking for an update!" you protested, but Harua remained silent. In that brief moment, you caught something flicker in his eyes, a hint of sadness or maybe resentment.
"Right," he nodded, mustering a weak smile. The resignation in his voice was heartbreaking. "Alright then. Just update me when and where." He stood up abruptly, grabbing his bag. "I hope this makes you happy." And with that, he walked away, leaving you behind with a heavy feeling in your chest and a growing sense of regret.

I Like You Too
"Wow. You really look nice with long hair, Gyu" you said whilst looking proudly at your masterpiece. You had just finished bedazzling Beomgyu's long hair and you are currently obsessed with his look. The top half part of his hair was loosely tied into a bun and it was adorned by a glistening white gold headpiece. You can't help but be mesmerized by the sight in front of you. "You look like Beomgyu blue hour era... but, even better." You nodded, propping his chin upwards as you fixed some of his loose hair strands.
You then saw his lips quivering, then it turned into a cheeky smile.
"Oh? So you think I'm handsome?" Beomgyu raised his brows teasingly. His smile was wide—concerningly wide.
You looked at him weirdly but still nodded.
"Yeah. What about it?" you slapped gel onto his hair as you carefully combed his hair into one direction.
You felt him rustling beneath you.
"Stop moving." you hold his shoulders in place. But alas, the brat decided to stand up instead.
"That means you like me?" He tilted his head to the right looking like he was trying to read your thoughts.
You shrugged.
"Well, like handsome guys."
He nodded.
"So you like me then?" He clasped his palms together, looking at you expectantly. And for some reason, it felt like he was actually anticipating your answer. He looked like a pup waiting for its owner to give him food.
You shrugged again.
"Yeah. I guess I like you."
Not even a split second later, you heard Beomgyu muttering incoherent words. His ears were all red and his cheeks was tinted with blood. You felt him panicking and genuinely shocked.
"Hey! Where are you going?!" You grab a hold of his wrist when he attempted to leave you behind. "I'm not done with your hair!" You urged him to sit down the couch.
And so he did.
"Why are you covering your face. Don't tell me you're shy?" You teased. "Hurry, remove your hands from your face. I need to finish your hair." You urged. And, as soon as he removed his hands, you immediately saw his tomato red face. You bursted out laughing, sounding like a dying hyena.
"Why were you saying things like that." He whined, face still red as a tomato.
You snorted.
"You urged me to say that i like you! Why were you so flustered?" You met his tantalizing brown eyes. "Don't tell me you actually like me?" You rasised your brows.
Oh how the tables have turned.
He plopped his body onto the couch—face firs, hiding his face—and then nodded. "I do like you."
You felt something churn inside you.
You smiled.
"Don't worry, I like you too."

Stranger | CBG
“I’m sorry ma’am. As I have said, it’s against our store policy to sell alcoholic beverages to people below the age of 21.” The cashier shook her head for the nth time, dismissing your unending bargaining.
You stood there ready to throw hands.
This is unfair. The legal system is unfair. Why can’t you, a literal full grown adult purchase a bottle of wine? At 18, you can even be sentenced to jail. So, why would you need to be at least 21 to be able to buy wine? And, it’s not as if you’ll chug the wine yourself! It’s for your mother. A mother’s day gift from you to her; which is tomorrow. No! Not even tomorrow. It’s 2AM. So technically, it’s mother’s day now.
“Ma’am, please. Could you just make an exception? I’ll gift this to my mom. It’s almost 3 AM. There’s no other store left open.” you said practically begging now. You were hopeless. But, you have no one to blame. You have brought yourself into this situation.
Like, legit when you were sleeping, you just remembered that it was mother’s day today! And, you forgot to buy a gift! So, you scrammed out of your bedroom, trying your best not to wake your family up, and ran to the nearest seven eleven store.
But would you look at that, the God’s just had to make your life burdensome.
“I’m really sorry, miss. I can’t do that.” The cashier shook her head again, now looking pissed and irritated.
You inhaled and exhaled through your nose, trying to calm yourself down.
‘She’s just doing her job.’ you told yourself.
Instead of acting like a kid, and throwing a tantrum like a middle aged Karen, you quietly walked away whilst holding the bottle of wine.
Defeat was as bitter as you remembered it being.
You walked towards the skin care and body fragrance aisle, in hopes of finding a decent enough object to gift your mom.
“Yuck, this smells like chicken manure.” you can’t help but say out loud upon smelling one of their perfume tester. You definitely are not getting that. You scooted over and moved to the left to try other products. “What brand is this? Does she even use this?” you asked yourself. It was a face peel mask of some kind. It was an unfamiliar brand so you didn’t really know.
You swear to God. You’ve been rummaging through all of the products in that aisle for at least 30 minutes now. Yet, you haven’t found anything. You wanted to cry. Should you just run out of the door with the wine?
You felt like giving up. Why is life like this?
If only some random stranger could buy the wine for you…
Almost as if on cue, a tall and lean man entered the store. He was wearing a black cap and white face mask. And, almost as if God intervened with your faith, he walked exactly as to where you were.
You immediately felt like a deflated balloon coming back to life.
‘Please, lord. I promise I’ll be a better person. Just allow me purchase this wine.’ You told yourself.
The stranger walked past by you and went straight to the band aid section. You didn’t want to seem like a stalker so you remained standing whilst staring at him.
“Soobin Hyung, do you need the small ones or the bigger ones?” The stranger talked to somebody on his phone. He was holding onto two band-aid packets, scanning each one of them thoroughly. He looked so serious. And weirdly enough, you could tell that he just got out of bed. “Okay. I’ll just buy two.” He nodded to himself and walked his way towards the counter.
You panicked because he’s approaching your way and you don’t know what to do!
How will you ask him to buy this wine for you?
He’s your only hope.
“Hey, how old are you?” You extended your right arm forward, blocking his way. To add to that, you unintentionally looked at him like you were some thug leader.
He stopped on his tracks, eyes widening.
You mentally slapped yourself.
"I didn’t mean to alarm you.” you added as if it would make the situation any better. Now, you wanted to slap yourself even more.
The stranger looked around cautiously and then looked you in the eye.
“20.” he replied like a deer caught in a headlight.
You nodded.
“Well, to me, you look over 21.” You scanned his entire demeanor and nodded again. He’s tall, nobody would suspect that he’s below 21.
You handed him the wine bottle and ushered him to towards the counter.
To think that the stranger could easily flick your dainty hands off his, and possibly, could even banish your entire existence to a different dimension, it’s a surprise that he didn’t protest.
He remained still.
You felt bad.
You seemed like a creep. You know! But you were desperate. Really, really desperate.
“This is my older brother, he’s over 21, legal age, owns a car, and works a job.” that was the first thing you said as the cashier greeted you with a confused look. She had no time to question though since the stranger was already placing his band-aid and ointment tube along with your wine bottle on the counter.
You smiled in victory, ready to celebrate in delight.
Then, realization dawned you.
Fuck, you were shameless.
“That would be 86146.40 KRW, Sir.” you heard the cashier say. You then saw the stranger giving his card out.
Fuck! You forgot to give him your money!
“Thank you, sir.” The cashier smiled before handing out the purchased items.
You saw the stranger walking out of the store so of course you followed him from behind.
When you were outside, the stranger looked around cautiously again to which you mirrored.
Nobody.
Why was he acting this way?
You heard him cough so you looked at his side.
He rummaged through the paper bag, got your wine out, and handed it to you. As you were about to snatch it off of his hand, he raised the wine bottle above until you were not able to reach it.
He eyed you with his innocent looking eyes curiously, like it was his first time seeing a human in flesh.
“Come on stranger, give it to me! I’ll pay for it! I have money!” you protested, trying to reach for the wine bottle.
You saw his eyes softening.
“First of all, I have a name.” he said. His voice was low and raspy. He brought the wine bottle down but still refused to hand it to you. “Secondly, are you one of them?” he accused, looking at you as if you were part of some type of cult that is a threat to his existence. How ironic isn’t it? You looked like a kid and you definitely don’t look like anything that could impose harm. What’s he on about?
“What are you on about? One of what?” You raised your brows up.
He looked at you for a like 5 second, still unconvinced.
“It’s not gonna work. This is obsession; leave me alone.” He walked away, leaving you like stunned possum.
You stood there processing everything.
Obsession? What obsession?
What the heck?
“Hey! Give me my wine!” You ran towards his direction. But, now he ran to avoid you too. ‘Shit.’ You cussed mentally, pulling the hem of your night gown, and ran to catch up to him. “Hey! Where are you going?!” you were shouting like a mad man as you tried to catch up.
Technically, he’s not stealing the wine from you since he paid for it. But still.
“Leave me alone! I will sue you!” You heard him shout from a distance.
Sue? Who? You? The audacity.
“The fuck,” You could feel sweat dripping off your forehead but you still continued. He was so damn fast and you were the opposite of fast.
At the moment, you reflected on your life and your choices. You contemplated if this was even worth it. Was a bottle of wine even worth all on this trouble? You could almost die from an asthma attack. Was this worth it? You questioned yourself again.
But, as you were about to give up, you saw that he stopped running and stayed still. So, you used your remaining energy to jog towards him. You stood in front of him panting, both your arms on your knees, feeling light headed. “Where do you think… a-are you going with my wine?” You inhaled a large amount of air and showed him a time freeze sign.
Just so you know it, you fell to the ground in exhaustion, side first.
Fuck life.
He walked towards you now, reaching his hands towards you slowly.
“Don’t,” you hissed, eyeing him fiercely despite your current state, when he was about to help you up. “Don’t touch me.” With all your strength, you pushed your body weight up with your arms, groaning in the process. Your knees were wobbling intensely as though they were freshly cooked noodles.
“Are you okay?” The stranger asked instead.
You scoffed.
You judged his entire appearance.
He was quite slim and lanky. His hair was short and almost curly.
Not gonna lie, he’s attractive. He could pass off as a model… perhaps an idol?
“Hey,” he waved his hand in front of you, trying to get your attention. “I said, are you okay?” He added.
“If I poked your eye out now and ask you if you’re okay, how would you feel?” you responded. He chuckled. “Give me my wine.” You grabbed the opportunity as you saw him holding the wine bottle low that it's accessible to your reach. But alas! He raised it up again.
You stood on your tippy toes and grabbed his left shoulders as support, trying to reach for the bottle of wine. When you failed after numerous jumps and tries, you gave him a disapproving pout instead.
He bopped your nose.
You gasped in surprise.
“So, you’re really not one of them.” he stated. Not questioning, more like, he’s confirmed something.
You raised your brows.
“One of wh-, you know what? I don’t care! Just give me my damn wine and we’ll forget about this.” you bargained.
He shook his head.
“No, this is not your wine.”
“It’s mine. I’ll pay for it! I have money.” You rummaged through your wallet and practically shoved the money in front of him. But, he gave it back to you.
He looked at you in amusement.
“Listen, kid. Why don’t you have some apple juice instead? You shouldn’t drink alcoholic drinks yet.” he mocked. Somehow, his tone sounded cocky and genuinely concerned both at the same time.
You looked at him in disbelief.
You were about to argue back but you snatched the wine bottle from his hands instead when he lowered his guard.
He chuckled again.
“I’m not a kid.” You held onto the wine bottle as it was your child. “Now, take this money. It was not nice meeting whoever you are.” You shoved the money in front of him again. But, of course he declined.
"It’s on me.”
You shook your head in disagreement. This specific brand of wine costed so much. Although the stranger was partially rude and cocky, you have enough shame and decency not to decline such offer.
Owing somebody—much more a stranger—was never in your your bucket list.
“Take it already… please. I just want to go home.” you begged.
He shook his head again.
“I have no pockets. All I have is my card at the back of my phone. I have no wallet to carry cash.”
You almost judged his entire existence based on that reasoning. How could somebody find it so hard to carry… paper? Like, he could legit chuck it inside his plastic bag.
“You know? That sounded so dumb.” You said in all honesty.
He shrugged.
“What’s your number? I can Venmo you my payment if you really can’t carry cash.” You returned your money inside your wallet. When you were done, he was still there standing still. “I said, what’s your number?” you repeated.
“You’re asking for my number?” He blinked twice.
You looked at him in horrify.
“Boy, I know you’re handsome. But, don’t get the wrong idea.” You took your phone out expecting that he will do the same. But, he stood there unmoving still.
You scratched your head.
“I can’t give you my number.” he muttered quietly.
“You’re really making this harder than should be, huh?” You sighed in frustration. “How about this, you can just take cash then chuck it inside your plastic bag. How about that?” you said almost wailing. But then, he took his phone out.
Finally.
He showed you his contact info and you diligently typed every number, trying your very best. You just want this to be over. You want to sleep.
“This one?” you asked him when a profile appeared.
He nodded.
You saw his Venmo username name.
Choi Beomgyu.
“Choi Beomgyu?” You peeked at his side, verifying if that was actually his name. He looked at you surprised and mortified. Somehow you could read through his expressions. “Geez, it says here that that’s your name. Calm down. I’m not a stalker.” you assured.
Why was he even so cautious in the first place?
You typed in the amount of the price of your wine, even adding extra to make it a whole number. When you were satisfied with the amount, you immediately sent it to him and his phone notified.
You nodded.
Finally.
You can finally sleep and go back home.
This night really sucked but at least it’s over.
“There you go.” you said before returning your phone to your pocket. “Thank you for purchasing the wine on my behalf and fuck you for almost killing me for running.” you smiled so sweetly.
He did too.
“You’re welcome, I guess?” He shrugged.
“I hope to never see you again. Good night, Choi Beomgyu.” You said before practically scurrying your was back home.
What a peculiar night.

You're okay
Pairings: Yeojun x reader. Huening Kai x reader
-
"I'll spin it now, okay?" Soobin announced. He bent his body forward, stretching his arms to reach the empty water bottle on the middle.
It was a usual Saturday night and the school's event organizer just had to throw a party 2 days before finals. Pretty reasonable if you say so yourself. And, to make things even better, attendance was mandatory.
So fun!
The party you could say was decent at most. You saw a couple of people just like you who were dreading to go home but there were also some that seemed pretty hyped. Particularly, those 7-10 people huddled into a circle, looking relatively drunk and tipsy.
And surprisingly, they were your friends. Take note, were your friends. Eversince you confessed your feelings to Yeonjun and got regected, you've been avoiding your friend group like a plague. They were Yeonjun's friends before you even came into the picture. So, sticking with them would just complicate things.
"Aren't you gonna to join them?" You heard Kai's voice blending with the muffled music sound. You looked at his side. He was wearing yet another hoodie and a pair of khaki shorts. His hair was slicked back, revealing his forehead. And honestly, you were quite confused why the man was still accompanying you after ghosting them.
You took a sip on your wine glass and shrugged.
"I'm not really in the mood." That was a lie. Of course you wanted to join them; you wanted to have fun. But then, you also didn't want to make the atmosphere awkward. You shrugged. "You? Aren't you gonna to join them?" You sipped on your wine again.
He shrugged too.
"Yeah. But, I want to accompany you."
You leaned your elbows on the countertop and poured wine onto your glass.
"I don't need it." you replied nonchalantly. It only took hearing Kai muster a disheartened 'Oh' for you to bite your tounge back out of guilt. Well that didn't come off right. "I mean, I do appreciate your presence. Really. But, I'll be fine here on my own."
You expected Kai to leave but he stayed.
You took a sip on your wine again and returned your gaze back to your other 'friends'.
"Ah, no, get away." You saw Selene helplessly leaning her entire body to the left, hoping that a few centimeter difference would save her from getting landed on. And it did. The bottle pointed on the space between her and Yeonjun instead.
"And... It's Yeonjun Hyung! Yes!" Beomgyu celebrated. Hands were raised due to excitement..
"Yah, Selene! That landed on your spot! This is cheating." Yeonjun protested. He looked weirdly violated and happy both at the same time.
You heard Selene giggling. She stucked her tounge out.
"No it didn't."
Yeonjun groaned.
"This is unfair." He looked at her fondly. He was trying his very best to act annoyed but is clearly failing.
Ouch.
You heard something shattering. Was it a champagne bottle? Was it a wine glass? Or, was it something else?
"Hey." Somebody nudged you. You immediately felt something hot, sharp, and throbbing so you looked down only to see blood oozing out of your palms. "You're bleeding." Kai whispered as he grab a hold of your hands.
You looked around and you saw your completely shattered wine glass beside you.
When did that happen?
"Jun, i told you! It's not on my side. Look, it points at your knees." You heard Selene laughing again. Her sweet giggles were echoing inside your head. And for some unknown reason, it made you want to crumple into a ball. "You better be done with your dare before I come back." Selene teased Yeonjun as she stood up to get drinks.
Yeonjun let out a defeated sigh but his smile seemed to tell otherwise.
He looked so happy.
How is it that you could still hear something shattering when your wine glass was already broken?
Why could you feel pain on your chest when it's your palms that had been cut?
"Shit." You heard Kai muttering a curse as he helplessly held onto your bleeding palms. "Stay here okay? I'll look for the first aid kit." You heard him say before he left.
In all honesty, you couldn't care any less. There was no greater pain than the one you feel bottling up inside you right now.
It was destructive.
"Now, Yeonjun hyung..." Beomgyu wiggled his brows up and down like a Seagull. "Hmmm, let me think." Beomgyu added while laughing like a a mad-man.
Yeonjun side-eyed the younger lad.
"I swear to God Choi Beomgyu if you say something funny I'll kick your butt." Yeonjun warned.
Beomgyu giggled like a giddy kid.
"Ah, don't worry, Hyung. You'll thank me for this." He proceeded on nudging Yeonjun's shoulders while looking at him meaningfully.
"Just say it already. Damn it." Yeonjun groaned.
"Call me master and massage my foot every afternoon for 1 year straight." Beomgyu declared. He immediately snickered as he saw Yeonjun's face all scrunched up, looking disgusted.
Yeonjun hit the younger lad.
"Ouch. Geez. Old man can't even take a joke." Beomgyu threw Yeonjun a 'boo' sign but thought of a new dare almost immediately. "Okay, I dare you to kiss the prettiest girl in this room instead." Beomgyu pointed towards Yeonjun using the empty water bottle that they used to spin earlier.
And, beomgyu's words became a trigger that broke everyone into murmuring.
You could see Yeonjun's ears slowly turning red.
"Pass?" Beomgyu threw the older lad a mischievous grin. "Come on, Hyung! Hurry!" Beomgyu whined.
"Shut up." Yeonjun dismissed the younger lad.
But, you saw Yeonjun's eyes wander throughout the room as if he was looking for somebody. You suddenly found his cold brown eyes meeting yours. And, for a split delirious second, you thought that maybe it's you. Maybe he'll come to your side and tell you that he didn't mean to regret you because he actually liked you.
But of course he didn't.
He doesn't like you. Not now, not tomorrow, not ever.
You smiled bitterly.
"Hyung don't tell me your really gonna do it?" Taehyun spoked excitedly. His questions were automatically answered when Yeonjun got up and walked towards an oblivious Selene standing next to the bar counter.
The other boys stood up and lurked behind the two.
"Wow he's really going to do it, huh?" Soobin chuckled as he chewed down on his Mandu. "You know what? You're crazy." He pointed at a seemingly entertained Beomgyu.
Beomgyu made a face before gawking back at Yeonjun and Selene again.
"Hey," Yeonjun uttered shyly as he stood behind Selene. Due to his height, it's almost as if he was towering over the girl's petite frame. And, you hated that. You hated the fact that they looked good together. Like a pair made by God himself.
"Huh? Jun, why are you here? Are you already done with your dare?" Selene looked up at Yeonjun with a sly smile.
Yeonjun shook his head.
"No,"
Selene groaned.
"Don't tell me you're still pushing that the bottle landed on my side! It's on your side!" She rolled her eyes.
Yeonjun scrunched his nose. His smile reaching his prettu eyes.
"No, it's not that. I'm actually here to do my dare." Yeonjun replied.
One
Two
Three
Four
You didn't know how long you were holding your breathe for.
But, now you now know that it was your heart shattering all along.
You felt pathetic.
"Then do it." Selene shrugged as she took a sip on her newly fetched piña colada.
Yeonjun nodded.
"I will. But, don't be mad okay?"
"Why would I even be mad?" Selene rolled her eyes again.
Yeonjun smiled.
"Okay then, I'll do it."
You stood on your spot frozen. You didn't know what to do. You didn't know what to feel.
You saw Yeonjun leaning towards Selene. But, before you could even witness the most heatbreaking scene in your entire life, you suddenly felt a pair of hands on top of your shoulders, turning you around so fastly that you couldn't even process what was happening.
You looked up only to be greeted by Kai's worried expression.
"Kai?" Your voice cracked.
You were about to turn back around, ready to see reality gor yourself, but Kai was quick to engulf you into a tight and warm hug.
"Don't. Just cry, I'm here." he whispered as he rubbed soothing circles on your back.
You were crying?
You wiped your cheeks with the back of your palms to confirm. And, you were indeed crying.
Nonetheless, you still tried to convince the man in front of you otherwise.
"I'm not crying. I'm okay."
You felt him nodding while looking at you fondly.
"You're okay." He nodded.

Thanks, Soobs!
"Thanks, Soobs." You smiled brightly at your friend the moment that he handed you a brown paper bag. "You're the best!" You were about to let out a loud shriek but you were afraid that people inside the cafe shop will be flustered.
"This is so unfair." Soobin pulled a chair right in front of you and sat on it. "Have you ordered yet?"
"Yes. I already ordered macaroni and americano for you." you replied. You looked at the paper bag again for the last time before deciding to finally open it. "This means so much to me, Soobs. Thank you."
"Ah. This is so unfair." Soobin jokingly scratched his head. "You're supposed to win a fan sign event with us before having a signed album." Soobin whined.
You nodded at him.
"Yeah. But, thanks to you, I don't need to go through that kind of a hassle anymore." You smiled again.
"You're unbelievable." Soobin rolled his eyes and smiled lightly.
You clapped your hands like a giddy kid ready to open it's present up.
Soobin chuckled at your reaction.
You flipped through every page of the album's photobook while Soobin was also prying. He looked as if he had just seen the photos for the first time too.
"Oh! OMG! OMG! You actually asked Beomgyu to write a short message for me?!" Your eyes widened when you saw your name written in Beomgyu's penmanship. Below his autograph was a short message with bunch of little heart doodles around them. "I AM GOING TO FAINT." You can't help but to let out an exaggerated gasp.
Beomgyu, your bias in TXT—who apparently is in the same boy group as your friend, Soobin—was your age. You've been crushin' on him ever since he held the door open for you that one time when you were visiting Soobin at their dorm.
You were oddly fascinated by him because you thought that he seemed like a gentleman. He was different. In fact, he was far from the bratty and unapologetic middle child that most MOAs know him for. He was sweet, kind, and very sensitive.
Soobin scoffed.
"Come on... Don't tell me your still infatuated over that guy?" Soobin threw you a disgusted look.
You rolled your eyes at him.
"No. You don't understand, Soobs. He seems different."
"What Different? Trust me, he isn't as perfect as how your picturing him in your mind right now." Soobin threw an annoyed look at you. "I mean, none of us are as perfect as people think." Soobin looked up the ceiling. He pursed his naturally pouty lips.
"Soobs," You held his hands when you saw a sudden hint of emotion in his eyes. "You're not perfect but that's what makes you unique. Heck, MOAs, including me, like you guys for the way that you are."
Come to think of it, it seems really sad being an idol. People oftentimes forget that you're human and that you can feel emotions too. You are expected to embody perfection 24/7, when in fact, just like normal people, they have their up and down moments too.
Soobin smiled.
"You know what? You're right. Beomgyu is still a normal human being. Just like you, he also wakes up looking like he had been smoking weed 24 hours straight. There's nothing different about him." Soobin let out a dolphin like laugh. "Add the fact that his nose also becomes puffy, thus, automatically looks like an onion.
"Choi Soobin, you're so mean."
"What? It's true!" He laughed, still proceeding to clap his hands over and over again.
"Whatever," You rolled your eyes at him. "Say, would you mind giving this to him?" You handed him a pack of butterscotch that you baked yourself of course.
You heard Soobin groan and you saw him closing his eyes while chewing on his macaroni. "Not again!" You smiled.
"Thanks Soobs! You're the best."

Goodnight, Love.
Pairings: beomgyu x reader
Genre: fluff and smut
Warning: SMUT! MINORS DNI!
"Does this feel good?" you asked as you tightened your grip on him.
He didn't answer but his eyes whilst looking at you lovingly was an answer enough.
You hummed in contentment.
You stroked his length up and down vigorously while he sat on the bed obediently.
"Love," Beomgyu threw his head back.
His breathless whines. The rising and falling of his stomach... It's all too much for your sanity.
"You make me feel so good, Love." Beomgyu propped your chin upwards while slowly and delicately savoring your lips. As a response, you drew circles on the tip of his sensitive cock and it made his whole body shudder. "Fuck." He cursed, breaking away from the kiss.
Beomgyu burried his nose on your neck as he moaned uncontrollably. You could feel the tip of his nose tickling your skin and his hot breathe sent a feverish feeling on your bare nape.
"You like it when I do this?" You asked, alternating on rubbing his tip and pumping his length continuously.
He nodded in his dazed state.
"Y-yes." He tried to suck on your neck but immediately let go when he was hit by a new intense wave of pleasure. You saw him closing his eyes. "Fuck..."
"You close?" you chuckled at seeing his seemingly defeated expression.
You liked how he's so sensitive.
The way his Adam's apple bob up and down as he let out soft moans turned you on big time.
Seeing your boyfriend turn into a putty at your touch made you proud.
"I love you so much." He whispered in shaking breathe as he pulled you in on a sloppy kiss.
You looked at him lovingly. You could almost see tears that were brimming to fall down from his pretty brown eyes.
You love him too. So much. You weren't even sure if you've ever felt this way for anybody before.
"I love you too." You uttered.
He nodded.
"Thank you for choosing me." He uttered.
You can feel your heart melting already.
With no hesitations, you took his pretty cock inside your mouth. You bobed your head up and down and massaged his balls until he turned into a squirming mess.
You didn't expect that it was still possible but, Beomgyu moaned even harder. He was repeating your name over and over again like a broken record.
You looked up at him only to met his tear stained eyes. His mouth was agape and his breathing seemed to be hitched. He looked weak and vulnerable. And, that made you even more determined to ruin him.
You took him all the way down your throat and you felt gagging in the process. But, that feeling immediately dispersed when you felt him throwing his head back, chest rising and falling in an unstable manner.
"Shit, that feels so—Ah." He unintentionally bucked his hips forward. At this point, your room was only filled with lewed noises coming from his wetness and him moaning; and you really like it. His moans sounds as of an angel's and you enjoy hearing his every pleas. "I'm so close." he mumbled desperately.
As soon as you heard that, you immediately moaned on his dick to create vibrations. You bobbed your head up and down faster as took him in like a lion facing hunger.
As soon as you know it, he was already spurting his hot seed in your mouth.
"Fuck, fuck, fuck." He chanted. He bucked his hips into your mouth thrice, before dropping his entire weight on the bed. His fluttering and heavy lidded eyes made it look like he was fucked thoroughly
You scanned his entire body proudly.
Only you can see him this way.
"Love," You said as you observed his ruined state. Sweat was dripping off his toned body and it seemed as if it was shimmering underneath the yellowish lighting. He was breathing lightly, curly hair covering his eyes. "Hey, Gyu?" You nudged him a little when you felt no response.
He didn't move.
"Love?" You laid on bed near him. "Hello?" You moved his hair away from his eyes and you were surprised to see that he was fast asleep. He was breathing so soundly and he looked like he was in peace.
What?
You chuckled.
"Goodnight, love." you whispered, kissing his forehead.
Well, you guessed it's a good thing that you haven't stripped down your clothes yet.

Hangry Midnights
(idk what this is. just some random scenario that i found in my drafts. wrote this a long long time ago)
Warnings: Beomgyu flirting. Cursing.
-
Midnight, a time where most people in your school dorm room are already in their deep slumber. A time where the school grounds become empty and a time where dorm rooms had their lights turned off... well, except for yours. For you, midnight was arguably the perfect time to showcase your inner chef like skills and create such scrumptious masterpieces to devour all by yourself. No distractions. No noise.
With a tune humming in your head, you gracefully sprinkled salt on your half-cooked ham, feeling like a culinary artist about to create a masterpiece. You were in the middle of flipping your half cooked ham and seasoning it with different spices when suddenly, the cap of the pepper bottle you were using, detached from its body. The pepper, which got caught in the boiling oil, erupted a horrific lava like explosion. It created a rather unpleasant spectacular show. And, before you knew it, the oil splattered everywhere, including your fingers. YOUR FINGERS!
Your eyes widened and you let out an inaudible gasp.
Fuck.
"Beomgyu! You hijo de puta!" you screeched in frustration, hastily turning off the stove and salvaging the poor ham as best you could. "I told him to close the lid tightly! Fucking idiot!" You looked at the poor meat as you helplessly scraped the excess pepper on top.
You inhaled a deep breathe, staring at your ruined masterpiece.
There's no saving this.
You stormed into your dorm mate Beomgyu's room, anger seething through your veins. There he was, lounging on his bed with his cat Sapphire beside him, cooing and showering the feline with affection. For some reason, that made your blood boil even more.
He looked up at you, raising an eyebrow in amusement. The audacity.
"Mind knocking next time? God. It's 11 PM. What if I was actually doing something... erotic here?" he quipped sarcastically, getting up from his bed and sauntering toward you with a smirk. "It's been 3 times this week that you've barged into my room unannounced." He clicked his tounge, walking towards you like a snake sizing up to eat its prey.
You raised your brows on him.
"And you've been the dumbest you've ever been this week," you fired back, eyeing him defiantly. "First, you left the stove open for hours. Next, you left the laundry machine running. And now, you didn't close the pepper's lid tightly. God! Who even opens a pepper bottle? Can't you just shake it? Are you a psychopath?"
He chuckled, further fueling your annoyance. "You're cute," he teased, his grin stretching from ear to ear as he looked at you as if you were a child complaining about a stolen lollipop.
"And you're dumb." Your disbelief grew, and you retaliated by raising your middle finger to show your burned finger. He only snorted and gave you a smug smile. How infuriating. "Look! Look at what happened to my fucking fingers! Look closely, idiot!" You were practically shoving your middle finger next to his iris but he pouted instead.
Frustrated, you were about to unleash a barrage of profanities and possibly kick him in the shins to make him take you seriously. But before you could, Beomgyu motioned for you to shush, then toddled away to pick up his sleeping cat gently, cradling it in his arms like it was his child.
He kissed the cat's nose and bopped it playfully, his eyes sparkling with affection. It was a side of him you'd never seen before—an unexpectedly caring and warm one. Your anger wavered, and you found yourself smiling at the sight.
However, when Beomgyu looked back at you, you quickly masked your emotions with a stern expression. He winked mischievously, making your cheeks flush with a mix of embarrassment and irritation.
"Don't worry, babe, I'm not done with you either," As he returned his attention to his cat and got it settled in its own bed, you observed Beomgyu with a mixture of annoyance and amusement. After making sure his feline companion was soundly asleep, he rummaged through his drawer and walked back towards you, offering his hand. You hesitated for a moment, wondering what he was up to, but ultimately, you took his hand.
Beomgyu's mischievous grin widened as he raised his eyebrows up and down suggestively. "I was asking you to give me your hand so I could put ointment on your burn, but this is nice," he teased, tightening his grip on your fingers playfully.
You rolled your eyes and swatted his hands away, but he persisted, holding your hand firmly as he gently applied ointment to your middle finger. Despite his annoying demeanor, his touch was surprisingly tender, and you couldn't help but feel a pang of warmth towards him.
When he was done, he gave you a wink, and you grimaced, trying not to show how much his gesture affected you.
Beomgyu's mood shifted again as he turned to you with a determined look. "Come on, let's go."
Confused, you blinked twice, trying to process the sudden change in Beomgyu's behavior. "Go where?"
He sighed, rolling his eyes at your obliviousness. "I said let's go. I'll treat you to some food. You've ruined your dinner plans anyway, and you're clearly still hangry with all that aggression. Let's go get some food to calm that savage beast within you," he teased, poking you in the side playfully.
You scowled at him, but a smile tugged at the corner of your lips. "Fine, whatever. But don't think you're off the hook for the pepper explosion."
"I'll take the blame, don't worry. Now let's go before you burn down the whole dorm," he quipped, leading the way out of your room, and you couldn't help but chuckle at the absurdity of the situation.
