These are the films which were made in-between the monster films and where not part of a series. Bela Lugosi, Boris Karloff, Lon Chaney Jr starred in several and many of the character actors and actress of the monster films starred in them as well'

Like the covers for the monster movies, the VHS cover images were composed from two different photos. One was a portrait image of the main character, usually a promo photo and the background photo was often a scene, or a background shot from the film.
