These are the films which were made in-between the monster films and where not part of a series. Bela Lugosi, Boris Karloff, Lon Chaney Jr starred in several and many of the character actors and actress of the monster films starred in them as well'

Like the covers for the monster movies, the VHS cover images were composed from two different photos. One was a portrait image of the main character, usually a promo photo and the background photo was often a scene, or a background shot from the film.

I'm thinking about the tattoo episode again. jack is so clearly looking for a definitive answer he's ready to throw caution out the window, and he did. at jack's lowest moments he always becomes a man of faith, like with sarah and here. but the man who takes an easy way is not a hero we usually expect to follow!! a hero would have decided to find himself through trials and errors. a man of science would never believed in "girl who can see who you are so clearly she can mark your skin with it" plot
