last update for now: everything generally looks good. labs are all within normal ranges. her heart is a little enlarged due to her heart murmur, and her lungs look good for a cat with feline herpes (which is something i'm always worried about so that's good news)

i've opted for just support care for the symptoms, because while an MRI and echo-cardiogram would likely tell us more about what's going on, it was going to cost at min $4k and. i love that animal more than anything, but that's almost 3 months of rent for me so. i can't, unfortunately.

they're giving her fluids, and sending me home with some meds for her, and i'm going to keep her in my bedroom while she's still wobbly so she doesn't risk any bad falls.

small update: vet maybe thinks it could be vertigo, but we're running some tests to be sure bc it is concerning that her pupils are super wide and don't retract when a light is flashed in them
