Made some rough art of the stealth suits from the Spy Kids: Mega Mission Zone PC game, and what Carmen and Juni would look like wearing them.

It's a cruel cruel world All you little boys and girls And some mean, nasty people Want to have you for their supper. But if you follow me You can all be free, free You can all be free As a bird on a big TV If you dream, if you dream, if you dream MY DREAM! It's a cruel cruel world Full of nasty boys and girls And the selfish mean nasty people, nasty, nasty, nasty, nasty But there's a way You can make your day You can laugh, you can smile You can come and stay a while! You can dream my dream You can have it all with me You can dream my dream You can dream my dream You can... dream... my... dream

Julius Hudson - Spy Kids 3D Costume
I know Halloween passed already, but I wanted to get this one out anyway. I grew up on Spy Kids and I wanted to replicate Juni’s armor from Spy Kids 3. I’m still trying to get used to clothing with a certain amount of detail. Also, finally settled on a full name for him

Hi!! Could u do a Fegan Floop [from spy kids] stimboard? Absolutely no worries if not!! Take ur time and take care of urself :3
If yes, here are some specifics: velvet purple red-ish coat stims, robots, maybe the finger things from spy kids, eyeballs, silly things!
i kinda sorta had a hard time fulfilling the specifics, so i focused on some keywords and decided to just try my best for you (っ˘̩╭╮˘̩)っ

🎃Happy (late) Halloween🎃
Yeah this is late. I apologise for that. I hope I'm not too late though.
Decided to go for a blacklight look. I listened to various spooky (mostly from video games) music while working on this piece, including the House of Horrors and Pitch Black Horror music from Kirby and the Forgotten Land. I colour picked most of the blacklight colours from @donutdrawsthings' blacklight palette, with some alterations.
The costumes for Carmen and Juni aren't new, they're from an earlier Halloween piece I did (which I haven't shared bc it has an old OC of mine I'm not using anymore that requires a lot of explaining and context, though im still pretty proud of it) back when I was in year 11. I've made some updates to the costumes since then. Although I didn't make the flannel pattern, I copied it from iStock.
I've shown my sister @laurenfoxmakesthings the progression of the art and I'd ask some insight on what I could do or if there was anything to alter, and it was really helpful!
The lineart was what took forever, along with my laptop battery being a pain to me. And the shadows could do with some redoing, but the piece is late enough as it is.
Hope you enjoy this anyways! ^^

I like this sea amphisbaena. I headcanon them as female, since Kipling said "The female is more deadlier than the male".
I also named them Agyo and Ungyo.

Spy Kids 4 was Based as Hell
Nobody stop me I'm going on a Spy Kids 4 rant.
--------------
Okay so the movie is hot trash in most of its senses but the bit where it shines has to be the 'villain'.
'Danger' literally goofed himself into being FROZEN IN TIME for DECADES because someone wasn't watching him. Great, right? Love OSS bs. But then his dad spends the rest of his natural life trying to break 'Danger' out of the time freeze, literally working himself to death in an attempt to do it.
'Danger' is conscious for all of it. 'Danger' - trapped in the mind of a child - has to watch his father give the rest of his life towards freeing him and fail. 'Danger' is released a decade or so later and his father is dead. Everyone he has ever known is dead. Or old as hell.
So he works for decades in return to get his life together and become head of the OSS. He finds a way to go back to his father and give his father closure and he jumps on it. He tries over and over and over and over to change his fate, to make things work, to reverse it, and it fails.
Then he's told to just enjoy what time he had left.
'Danger' goes back one more time. He sees his father, and he spends the rest of his father's life with him, making amends and everything else. He doesn't try to prolong anything, he doesn't try to break any fates. 'Danger' spends the time they have left, enjoys their shared time, and comes back aged, but content.
He won.
The 'villain' won.
It is deserved.
He undoubtedly goes to jail afterwards, as does all his clones. But 'Danger' got that closure, and no doubt spent the rest of his time just thankful for the chance to be there when his father passed.
He won.
--------------
'Danger' D'amo is not a villain to me. 'Danger' is a tragic character fighting against destiny to try and fix the past, or delay his fate, only to realize that the way to 'fix' the past is to just... let it be. Stay with his father. Make sure his father knows the sacrifices were worth it, that 'Danger' grew up into just as much of a genius as his father. That everything he did was so his father could rest easy.
Every time I hear Spy Kids 4 slander, I honestly wonder if people have ever thought about the tragedy of 'Danger' and his entire life. If people looked past the terrible jokes and gags to see the emotional core at the centre of the movie. How both the heroes and the 'villains' learnt a simple lesson.
Enjoy the time you have.
It's a beautiful core to a movie with severe jagged edges. The geode rock from Barbie's Princess and the Pauper if you will. Hard and boring on the outside, beautiful and rich within.
Also the Ricky Gervais dog was not that horrible y'all just over-exaggerating frfr.
