Beady Eye on the fandom divide

Oasis fans seem very split in the middle when it comes to sharing their affections between you and Noel. Don't you find that a bit weird?

LG: Yeah, yeah. It’s very frustrating. Strange fuckers. I do find it weird and it does my fucking head in. Wind your necks in, you fucking little fuckers! Enjoy the party – you’re getting two bands for the price of one.

AB: Well, two for the price of two, really! 

LG: Yeah, OK, but they’re entitled to their fucking opinions and so are we, but it is strange. I’ll tell you what is strange: it’s like the first band I liked were The Stone Roses - and I still do - and when they split up I could never go, "I fucking hate John Squire! Or fucking Ian Brown!" I just wanted them all to be cool.

AB: It’s off its head, really. 

LG: [Laughs] What have we done to them?

AB: Why are mummy and daddy fighting?

GA: I think there’s three kinds of fans: we’re talking about the Noel diehards, the Liam diehards and the ones who go, "shut the fuck up, both of you! We’ve got twice as much music". Look, we have passionate, rabid people following us, man. But it’s another facet to it. I’ve been to Noel gigs where girls are sat with Team Noel written on their t-shirts and few rows back was someone with a Pretty Green t-shirt so it’s all part of the lingo, isn’t it?

LG: We’ve made a great rock and roll album but sometimes I feel there’s a lot of people just fucking boycotting what Beady Eye do just for some stupid fucking reason. ‘We’ll boycott that shit no matter what they do because it ain’t Oasis and we want Oasis’ and all that kind of thing. Well fuck you! We’ve experimented or whatever it is, what more do you fucking want?

Spent a ridiculous amount of time last night obsessively editing my hand written zines in Photoshop to take away any tiny blemishes so they were definitely readable.

Not to sound like a person who actually cares about children, but it's so alarming that there's this tendency and trend of not telling kids about their medical conditions that are in their charts.

I'm finding out as an adult that they (though it's not documented who) diagnosed me with a life-long, chronic condition without telling me when I was a teenager. I found out recently when I got curious about my medical charts, and otherwise, I would not have known what's wrong with me. I've been left with more questions than answers, and I feel like a private investigator investigating my own damn health and life.

Is this medical malpractice? Yes. However, I think it also speaks to a broader point of how children are seen to not be entitled to their own lives in any capacity, to the point where they are (intentionally or not) made ignorant about things that are or will affect them.

absolutely despicable behavior from WB to plunder a fan film from 15 years ago just because their corporate greed led them to want to make their own (likely soulless even with PJ’s involvement) version with the exact same title.

UPDATE: the copyright has been released and the fan film The Hunt for Gollum is back on YouTube and can be watched. Though, it's still really telling of the capitalist corruption of WB and Hollywood that their first move and publicity for this (unnecessary) movie was to directly attack the fans for something produced over a decade ago.

Ghosts Tell Me

Ghosts gather near the place where something bad is going to happen,

Danny with his ghost sense tends to notice before anyone else and tends to react outwardly before the danger even happens, gaining a reputation of seeing the future,

Ghosts also tell Danny things, causing Danny to know more about situations and the people around him, it comes of as suspicious.

Danny pulling away a snack from his coworker: "Careful your allergic to these ingredients!"

Coworker: "How the hell...I've never mentioned that to anyone."

Danny on a phone call with his friends while doing his nightly walks in Gotham: "Yeah so apparently the second Robin who is now Red Hood has very personal beef with the clown here cuz he got killed by him after being sold out by his bio mom, which really sucks for the poor guy."

Oracle who has been keeping an Eye on Danny cuz he's very suspicious from an outsiders pov: "Hey B, I think we have a problem."

Danny notices that the ghost in Gotham tends to gather where something bad is going to happen, the more they are the worse the situation will be: *glowing smoke leaves from his mouth* "Yikes! Very bad vibes here, nope!"
