I've never played DnD before but I've been talking to some friends and they invited me so I made a character named Ishama for the new campaign they have planned.
A lot of info on her below the cut if you want :]
So im not a writer and I wrote this on an airplane at 12AM and I'd been up to catch the first flight i took the day before at 4AM... what im saying is this is probably bad so plz dont judge
Its also important that I credit the podcast DnDnD. Ishama is inspired by Martha (a side character ghost warrior that tags along the adventures in DnDnD) but im hoping my group will explore and expand this storyline and character in more depth. On that note I really recommend you "do whats fun" (thats the shows catchphrase) and check out DnDnD.
                               Information
Name-Ishama :Race- High Elf :Class- Paladin
                              Introduction
A loyal warrior finds herself resurrected after thousands of years in slumber. Upon being awakened she learns her home has become ruins, a ghost city never to be rebuilt.
On a journey to discover what happened to her people as well as adapt to her very strange surroundings she finds herself in the company of equally strange adventures.
                              Background
Her city before her death was engaged in a long war lasting generations.
She joined the military training at a young age (14) with many of her peers and completed it at age 22.
Her mother was a solider meaning her and her little brother were left under the care of her uncle.
When she joined the military, to the approval of her mother (which she craved), she lost the approval of her uncle and in later years brother who followed after their uncle by rejecting her due to her involvement in the war.
She died at the age of 27 protecting her city (in what she later learns would be the war that would leave both cities in ruins).
In the setting of the game only little is know about the the two cities. All information is learned from fragments of "ancient" texts (its really just cheesy romance novels).
The cities have become the popular setting for literature, sayings, and old folktales, warning about the consequences of conflict without compromise.

Tales of blond 🧡 (part 1)
————
Took me ages but finally here’s a new part!
This is half the blond characters actually. There is so many that I had to split it in two categories. The blond/light brown bunch and the yellow haired bunch. But next part will be the last I believe.

Multiamory March 2024, Day 10 Prompt- Neighbors @polyamships
When Rose, Martha, and Mickey had chosen a house to move into they hadn't expected to end up next to the Noble/Temple household. Yet still...
Martha and Rose were the ones to grow closer to Donna, especially with Martha being pregnant and Donna having her little one. It was easy for them to start to bond over that.
It was easy, Rose found. To fall into a pattern like this again, maybe that's because she was still involved in alien things though. UNIT was different from Pete's Torchwood, she liked how they did some things and disliked how they did others. And it was easy to gain feelings for Donna, but that made sense- she'd had that spark of attraction when interacting with her in the... unfortunate timeline.
But like this it was wonderful, being near these people who had shared incredible things, even if Donna didn't remember. It felt like breathing for the first time in a while.

Ranking my favorite Star Trek TOS girlies
This is specifically about the women of the week, excluding those who appeared once in TOS but later reappeared in other Star Trek shows (like T'Pring, Amanda or Una). There are so many! Most are kinda meh eye candy, however, some are just great. Here we go...
13 Kelinda (2x22 By Any Other Name) : she's not a girl, she is hundred tentacle alien trapped in a woman's body
Tumblr media
12 Roberta Lincoln (2x26 Assignment: Earth) : just there to slay, she has some serious Doctor's companion vibes
Tumblr media
11 Lenore (1x13 Conscience of the King) : a murderous girlie with an unhealthy fixation on her father, you gotta love her
Tumblr media
10 Irina Galliulin (3x20 The Way to Eden) : Academy drop out in a sexy hippie polycule, what else do you need?
Tumblr media
9 Shahna (2x16 The Gamesters of Triskalion) : admittedly mostly there to look pretty, but I love her, I want her to come back
Tumblr media
8 Martha Landon (2x5 The Apple) : the first person in the show to high kick in a fight, honestly an icon
Tumblr media
7 Horta (1x25 The Devil in the Dark) : she's a blob of lava, she's a mother, she's into Spock, she is everything
Tumblr media
6 Daras (2x21 Patterns of Force) : she's an undercover freedom fighter who turned her own father in to get the enemy's trust, hardcore af
Tumblr media
5 Marta (3x14 Whom Gods Destroy) : criminally insane Orion who quotes Shakespeare and then claims she is the author, iconic
Tumblr media
4 Vanna (3x21 The Cloud Minders) : in her first scene she beats Kirk in a hand to hand combat, 'nough said
Tumblr media
3 Janice Lester (3x24 Turnabout Intruder) : yes, go exercise your girl power by murdering a lot of people and stealing Kirk's body, you can do anything, I believe in you!
Tumblr media
2 Romulan Commander (3x2 The Enterprise Incident) : the only female captain we'll get to have for a long time, absolute queen, so sexy and powerful with great sense of fashion
Tumblr media
1 Miranda Jones (3x5 Is There in Truth No Beauty) : my favorite by a lot, she is conflicted, annoying, petty and ready to kick sexist and ableist asses on the spot
Tumblr media
There are more that I could mention, but I thought 13 is an okay number to stop.

THE DESCRIPTION OF THE BETHANY SIBLINGS Feast Day: July 29
Mary, Martha, and their brother, Lazarus, lived together in Bethany, a small town in Judea, near Jerusalem. They were faithful followers of Jesus, and Jesus loved them very much.
One day while Jesus was visiting them, Martha was busy cleaning the house and preparing food. She wanted to be sure that Jesus was well cared for. Instead of helping Martha, Mary sat at Jesus' feet, listening to Him. The harder Martha worked, the more upset she became with Mary.
Finally, Martha complained: 'Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me by myself to do the serving? Tell her to help me!'
Jesus understood Martha's feelings, and He answered tenderly: 'Martha, Martha, you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.'
Jesus wanted Martha to know that it was important for her to care for her home and that He appreciated all she had done for Him. But it was even more important to learn about God and to grow spiritually.
Some time later Lazarus became seriously ill, and Mary and Martha were worried. They knew that Jesus could make Lazarus well, but He was with His disciples in Peraea. They immediately sent Jesus a message: 'Lord, the one you love is sick.'
When Jesus heard that he said: 'This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God’s glory so that God’s Son may be glorified through it.'
Jesus stayed in Peraea two more days. Then he said to his disciples: 'Let us go into Judea again.'
The last time Jesus had been in Judea, the people had threatened to stone Him. They were angry with Him because He said He was the Son of God. Jesus' disciples were worried about His returning to Judaea, and they tried to persuade Him not to go.
But Jesus said: 'Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep; but I am going there to wake him up.'
His disciples did not understand what Jesus meant; they thought Lazarus was just resting. Then Jesus said plainly: 'Lazarus is dead.'
When Jesus and his disciples neared Bethany, they discovered that Lazarus had lain in his tomb for four days. Many of Mary and Martha’s friends were visiting the sisters to comfort them.
Hearing the news of Jesus' arrival, Martha ran to meet Him, crying: 'Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died. But I know that even now God will give you whatever you ask.'
Tenderly Jesus said: 'Your brother will rise again.' Martha replied: 'I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection.'
Then Jesus taught her an important lesson. He said: 'I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?'
Martha answered: 'Yes, Lord, I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.'
Martha then returned home and told Mary: 'The Teacher is here, and is asking for you.' Mary left quickly, followed by her friends.
When she reached Jesus, she fell down at his feet, and she, too, said: 'Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.'
Seeing Mary and her friends weeping, Jesus felt sad and troubled. He asked them where the body of Lazarus was.
While they walked to Lazarus's tomb, Jesus wept, and the people said: 'See how he loved him!'
But some of them said: 'Could not he who opened the eyes of the blind man have kept this man from dying?'
Many of the people had seen and heard of the miracles Jesus had performed, and they wondered why He had not saved His dear friend from death. They did not know that Jesus had a reason for letting Lazarus die.
A big stone covered the entrance to the tomb. Jesus said: 'Take away the stone.' Martha hesitated, saying: 'But, Lord, by this time there is a bad odor, for he has been there four days.'
Jesus turned and said to Martha: 'Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?' So they took away the stone.
Then Jesus looked up and said: 'Father, I thank you that you have heard me. I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me.'
When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice: 'Lazarus, come forth!'
And Lazarus, still wrapped in his grave clothes, came forth.
Jesus asked the people to unwind the cloth that covered Lazarus's face and arms and legs. Lazarus was alive! He could see and feel and walk and talk. The people were amazed. Never had they seen such a demonstration of power over death.
While there is no further mention of Lazarus in the Bible, the Eastern Orthodox and Roman Catholic traditions offer varying accounts of the later events of his life. He is most commonly associated with Cyprus, where he is said to have become the first bishop of Kition (Larnaka), and Provence, where he is said to have been the first bishop of Marseille.
A further legend relates that Martha then went to Tarascon, France, where a monster, the Tarasque, was a constant threat to the population. The Golden Legend describes it as a beast from Galatia; a great dragon, half beast and half fish, greater than an ox, longer than a horse, having teeth sharp as a sword, and horned on either side, head like a lion, tail like a serpent, that dwelt in a certain wood between Arles and Avignon. Holding a cross in her hand, Martha sprinkled the beast with holy water. Placing her sash around its neck, she led the tamed dragon through the village.
