Even leaving aside the obvious ship bait here, this is one of the best examples of character comedy Hoyo has posted in a long time.

The fact that Jade sends Aventurine a bunch of rocks just knowing that his incredible luck will allow him to suss out, without even cutting the stones, exactly which ones are worth processing is funny as hell.

The fact that Aventurine is actually able to answer and picks out the rocks that contain high value jade without hesitation is absolutely hilarious.

Bro is out here using his blessing from a goddess to play blind-box prize games. This is like finding out X-Men's Professor X uses his telepathy to order pizza.

Do you think people ever call Aventurine like "Hey man, is my new relationship going to work out?"

And Aventurine's just over here as the divination champion of Pier Point going "Signs point to no, friend. The vibes are just rancid. Abandon ship ASAP."

And then he trips over his catcake and eats shit because he didn't see it coming.

But anywho, I will take this ask as an opportunity for a Naviangey lore drop! Scroll past if you’re not interested in this, because this is a lore drop of how Navia proposed to Angey!

How Navia proposed to Angey (the persona) was nothing short but a complete failure! Navia is one of those people who plans those super elaborate and expensive proposals in hopes of impressing their loved one. Unfortunately for Navia however, everything goes horribly wrong. The horse drawn carriage to the beach breaks a wheel and the horses go loose, the skywriting pilots in the sky accidentally misspelled Angey’s name (who tf is Angry?) and the boat that Navia wanted to propose to Angey in, ended up accidentally flipping over and causing both Navia and Angey to fall into the water 😰

Navia almost loses the engagement ring too. She’s crying and soaking wet, because everything has gone wrong and she just wanted everything to be perfect so she could propose to her future wife. But luckily for her, a curious little otter peeks its head up from the water with the ring box in its hand, thus saving the day!

Even though both women are drenched in Fontaine water with a piece of seaweed on Navia’s head, Navia proposes to Angey and slips on the ring. Mission accomplished 💍

P.S: It’d be quite funny if Neuvilette was the little otter in disguise <3

So, here's Mina! Once again I'm impressed by Stokers writing - he introduces Mina as an eager and interested person with a lot esprit who is perfectly content with her ordinary life and who's as deep in love with Jonathan as he is with her (which is so cute, I don't get why most movies totally gloss over this mutual adoration!). He also portrays her with a little sassyness and a bit temper which is delightful and I can easily imagine her as a teacher in a classroom. Her letter is also quiet the juxtapose to Jonathans despair yesterday…

Also this "oh, it's just a little boring journal" will bite her in the ass very soon I guess 😈 and it adds to the flavor of authenticity for which Stoker aims.

"It must be so nice to see strange countries."

Well, Jonathan certainly disagrees at the moment…

So... I saw that some people in the Monsters at work fandom Ship Roger and Fritz.. and I feel a bit disgusted by that.. Because In the show they literally See each other as FAMILY. Roger sees Fritz as an uncle ish father figure, And Fritz sees Roger as a son/or nephew.. I mean they're not actually family.. But it's still really awkward for me.. Well, Bye :D!
