Maybe a drabble where Katsuki (and the rest of 1-A) is invited to EraserMic's wedding after the war, because after everything that happened, they don't want to put it off any more.

And Katsuki is introspective about it, because there they are, two adult male heroes, getting married to each other. While the wedding is a private affair, and you know Aizawa hates the press and wouldn't let them anywhere near their big day, it IS public knowledge.

And Katsuki, long suffering a deep devotion to Izuku (and realizing what that actaully means, ie, he's in LOVE with the idiot) and several months into funding and designing that passion project of his, can't help but secretly be heartened by seeing a Queer romantic couple of widely known and loved Heroes be recognized and accepted in the Hero space.

Not that he'd ever be apologetic about his feelings for Izuku, or his own Queerness, but Katsuki finds comfort in seeing Eraser and Mic so happy, smiling at each other in that way, as if they can finally be open.

He looks at Izuku, finding the nerd beaming brightly at their teachers' happiness, and imagines one day, that he could be that happy with Izuku, and they could gather in front of all their loved ones. And the Hero World would welcome them too.

I love unrequited love like mad and all the apology tour fanart but alastor ship ver. are great, i eat them up like spaghetti but if i ever see genuine critique on alastor (ace, implied aro) for not liking the other character back and putting blame on him -> it's block on sight 😊

I eat hanahaki fics for breakfast, the guilt-trippy nature in apology tour isn't my problem. if the guilt-tripping is just for a tasty narrative, i'm good,

my problem is if it actually reflects your belief that the aro/ace character is at fault while the other half of the ship is a precious baby for catching feelings and did nothing wrong.

I don't want genuine blame being put on the aro/ace character for just, not being able to give what the other wants. It sends me into a spiral of feelings i cannot explain as an aroace.

Research for an au fic I’m working on: how would Azula act and behave in a modern setting? And I don’t mean re-imagine her character within a modern context and stories. This isn’t Azula, but she’s an overachieving American high schooler with strict and overbearing parents, or Azula, but she’s the soon-to-be CEO of her father’s multinational conglomerate based in Japan or something. No, I mean how would Azula as she is in canon, Fire nation princess and all, act and behave if you simply just took her from her world and plopped her into [insert current year you’re reading this]?

Currently thinking about Aang and Zuko in the NWT cave scene except instead of anything actually meaningful, I'm just realizing, Aang 100% could've gotten further/done more with his airbending then scooch across the snow like a worm.

He didn't actually have a full plan for getting away from Zuko, I think he legit just had a 'fuck you' moment and blasted Zuko into a wall for tying him up (same as he did to Zhao) before realizing, oh wait, I'm surrounded by snow and have no idea where I am. But he had to at least put up the pretense of continuing to try to get away because, again, Fuck Zuko for tying him up. But he really doesn't try past that. Zuko literally just tosses him aside and Aang's just like 'oh sure Ill lay here'.

That air blast was 100% a petty attack he disguised as an attempt to escape.

pentiment not giving a definitive answer to the act i and ii mysteries isn't because all the suspects are equally likely to be guilty. i've seen people interpret it that way and then complain that the ending is a copout but like does anyone genuinely think ottilia did it. i know "possibly but uncertainly" is not that far off "equally likely" but i think it's an important distinction to make when it comes to understanding what the game is focused on.

it's not about who were the actual killers, it's not even about the circumstances that make it impossible for that to be known, it's about what made YOU point the finger at someone and the consequences of that choice. did you actually think they were guilty, or were they just an asshole? did you think it was someone else but held your tongue because they deserved to live? what about their age? community standing? did convenience factor into it? alternatively, what would happen if you dirtied someone's name and they were still around years later?

if there was a fixed answer everyone would just get caught up on whether they picked up all the hints and if they were chose the "right" or "wrong" path. that would detract from everything the game is trying to say. as it is, i think people who come away really wanting those mysteries solved, saying "i don't know who it was and therefore i might as well have spun a wheel and not wasted 15 hours to get here" have missed a lot of what it's really about.

I really did think I was going to play a fully evil character but then Act 3 started and it came with all these heavy hitting questions about morality and.......against all odds, he somehow got fixed. More or less. So I guess Halsin was right.

there’s something the show never actually explores but which is so compelling to me is the fact that like. church exists so so adjacent to villainry. half the villains of this show are some form of church. and not just like a foil parallel thing, they’re literally church. so many parts church are so willing to break bad. his need for control over others so, so easily falls into abuse and “evil”.

but the show really never explores this! there’s never really any sort of examination of churchs character through the lens of like. maybe he’s actually not a very good person? or maybe. what does it actually take to make someone a “bad person”. why is church any different from any other part of him. is he different from any other part of him? how do you look at the director and blame him for his actions when you know for a literal fact that in his position you would not, could not have done anything differently. because you already did it and the proof of that is sitting right in front of you. i don’t know. it’s just. man.

My theory is that Mark Scout has so many deep seated issues and trauma that he compartmentalizes everything and therefore cannot reintegrate until he accepts every part of himself… something something accepting and healing your inner child with empathy and love instead of neglecting and abusing him

Through his adult life, Buck has developed a certain taste for his personal decor and style. It’s rather minimalist, but it works for him. Still, he finds he enjoys adding these gifts of support and love from his family.

I think I'd be okay. Happy, no, obviously not; Fujimoto and his team aren't gonna make this end well. You could feel it from the start.

I have no idea if Asa will ever get to confess how she feels to Denji. I have no idea how Denji will take that information. I have no idea how long Denji will put up with Yoru (doesn't seem like for long but who knows).

All I know is that I just want them to be happy, and together. The world could end, but if they could feel some semblance of peace and human connection for even a moment, I'll be okay.
