ELDER SCROLLS BLOGS!!!
I’m looking for blogs who post a lot of Elder Scrolls. If you think that’s you, please like/reblog so I can follow you! However, I have some conditions:
-I don’t fuck with bigots, but I also don’t fuck with purity culture. No racism, sexism, homophobia, ableism, etc. I would like as little discourse as possible. -If you’re a bully, don’t come at me. If you do stuff like make fun of people’s looks or make fun of people for trivial stuff or pick at everything all the time, I don’t want you near me. I’m trying to create a positive space. -NO MINORS! Please, I am begging you, do not like/reblog if you are under 18. -Do not like/reblog if Elder Scrolls is something you only post sometimes. I am looking for a steady stream of content. -ABSOLUTELY SMASH THAT LIKE/REBLOG IF YOU HAVE ELDER SCROLLS OCs AND LIKE TALKING ABOUT THEM OR YOU’RE JUST SUPER INTO ELDER SCROLLS LORE.

“Depends on the event, but for the most part I try to avoid invoking him,” Tali sighed. “I haven’t been much for prayers since I was…very young. I’m sure other people, he might, though.”
She added that last on recognizing the hint of hope in Andrea’s voice. Just because Tali sniffed at the Aedric pious - and occasionally Daedric pious, come to think of it - didn’t mean most people echoed her feelings.
“And, for the time being, he’s the only thing that seems to be keeping us going, so…”
Andrea felt her spirit lift slightly at that, albeit she could get a feeling of something... diplomatic in Tali’s words. Still, that there was a Talos really able to hear her and perhaps even intercede in her own life, however more uninteresting it was than the last dragonborn’s. Andrea was the praying type, despite everything she did that pointed to otherwise. Talos was a strong father, and she an ardent child of him.
“Aye,” She smiled, nodding and ready to move along in the conversation, “Perhaps the invisible hand of the gods will be enough for us yet.” She spoke as though she were utterly convinced of it- She was, a lifetime of religious upbringing had made it sure that she was. The Aedra would guide them to the places they needed to be, and they just had to make the right choice. “Are you hungry? Perhaps we can scare up something to eat.”

“I wish it could always be like this.”
“You’re always there for me.”
“The stars are the only thing that makes sense.”
“There’s more out there, you just have to be patient.”
“It doesn’t all have to be existential dread.”
“You’re so much different when we’re alone.”
“I like it when the worlds quiet.”
“There’s a place for us somewhere.”
“They’ll name constellations after you one day.”
“Your hearts beating so fast.”
“They don’t know what they want.”
“You don’t know what you want.”
“That’s what they’re supposed to say.”
“We really don’t know what we’re doing.”
“I miss the old you.”
“Nostalgias a trap.”
“Aliens are out there.”
“Did you hear that?”
“I really want pizza right now, think it’s open?”
“What time is it?”
“But why would they abduct cows?”
“We’ll all be dead soon enough anyways.”
“I wish we didn’t have to sleep.”
“What do you believe in?”
“What happens after we die?”
“Seems like a silly thing to say, don’t you think?”
“And what’s your excuse?”
“You’ll get it together soon.”
“Sometimes I feel like I’ll never have it together.”
“It’d be better if people weren’t so afraid of their feelings.”
“You keep quiet and we both lose.”
“I wish I could save this forever.”
“When did you realize you were in love with me?”
“The rooms spinning.”
“I loved you long before you knew.”
“I’m not afraid of death, I think it’ll be peaceful.”
“The Universe is too big for that.”
“Do you think we’ve met in other lives?”
“I’d come back to haunt you.”
“Would you come back to haunt me?”
“What’s alternate universe you doing right now?”
“Tell me a secret.”
“Why haven’t you told anyone?”
“I wish we knew each other sooner.”
“You’re a game changer.”
“I’m a game changer.”
“Don’t ignore fate.”
“Ignorance isn’t bliss.”
“What, is that a conspiracy theory?”
“It’s probably the Illuminati anyways.”

“Mm, yes. Apparently if you track my family records down in Bruma, there’s a definite trace back to Martin Septim and the Champion,” Tali answered. She didn’t mind the questioning as much now as she might have before. “And if I can be linked to the purported break in the Septim lineage, then of course I can be linked right to Tiber Septim.”
Tali sighed again but did manage a thin smirk in Andrea’s direction.
“If I could pass him off to you, I certainly would,” she noted. “Besides, it’s not all it’s cracked up to be, being able to talk to gods.”
Andrea nodded her head with an impressed flick of her eyes, not sure if she truly believed Tali, but then why would the dragonborn need to lie about heritage? And why wouldn’t a heritage like that lead to someone like this? Er... A fierce warrior and hero, that is. Not a crazy woman.
“I wouldn’t know, I can’t say I’ve met a god before, personally.” Andrea nodded, somewhat mystified about the earlier explanation. All the way back to Talos Stormcrown, now that was certainly a family to live up to. If she looked back into her own family’s past, would she even be able to find anything worth mentioning? If she tried, she could recall her grandfather may have been a fisherman.
“Besides pestering you, does he ever help? Answer any prayers?” She asked, an almost hopeful note in those last few words.

REBLOG IF YOU ARE OKAY WITH JUMPING AROUND IN THREADS/PLOTS. sometimes it can take ages to get from point a to point b and half the fun is the journey. but sometimes it fun to explore different aspects of a plot. flashfowards, flashbacks, parts of the plot you have discussed but haven’t reached yet. It’s so fun to explore every part of a plot and have multiple threads in different places in a plot. Or sometimes different memes you sent/receive may not fit the point in the plot you are at right now, but fit a flashback or flashfoward. So reblog if you are okay with having different threads in different points in the plot.

…and here came the uncomfortable part.
“…that I should take my place as heir to his throne,” Tali mumbled - only loud enough for Andrea and the nearest flagstones to hear. “Even when it’s because of him I…”
Tali stopped there, jaw clenching as the memory flickered in the back of her head. His voice urging her to run, to not look back. Glancing briefly to find her home - with her parents and her surviving brother from the war - burning, burning. Thalmor shouting orders to ensure no one had escaped.
“…I could care less about his crown and empire,” Tali eventually spat. “It’s because of my descent I lost…everything. Over and over again.”
She forced herself to breathe, try to calm down.
“…Talos’s blood runs in my veins and I wish every day that it didn’t.”
Her awkward smile only became more so as she listened to the obviously uncomfortable dragonborn. Empress this... heir to the throne that... Oh, she was hearing some voices alright. Andrea couldn’t quite follow, though she recognized that odd look Tali got in her eye- The woman was a survivor, no doubt about it, and if Andrea had learned anything in her years travelling, survivors abounded in Skyrim these days. Best to stay clear of their way, too.
“Descent?” She asked, losing her careful ear for a moment to ask a question. She tilted her head, confused by the wording, though she had the sneaking suspicion she was already beginning to pry a little too much. Then again, Tali was the one talking.
Andrea cast of her judgements with a shake of her head. “I wish every day that he’d speak a word in my direction.” She said, realizing fully that it may very well be the wrong thing.

Early Drinks in Early Autumn
Andrea shrunk into the expansive fuzzy collar of her bearskin cloak- ear tips burning almost as red as the strip of hair atop her head in the bitter cold of the north of skyrim, the bitter cold of her home port and fondest place of memory. The familiar cobbles of Solitude felt comfortable under her feet, and the early chill of fall seemed not to trouble her as she wandered the streets. Still, the cold was there, and with it and the time of year, only one desire was on her mind as she rounded a corner and found herself back in the main plaza, and before the old doors of the Winking Skeever.
She pushed her way inside, feeling at once the memory of her childhood spent stepping on the heels of the older patrons, and now the familiar but discomforting weight of her armor on her shoulders. She licked her lips, though, the painful contradiction falling away instead to the delightful smell of that thick, spiced cider that was almost like drinking an apple.
