Btw, non UK users here, would be genuinely super helpful if you could boost posts relating to the far right violence happening and also counter protests. A lot of UK users don’t really follow each other, and also it just helps to increase the chance of people who could go to counter protests seeing posts about what’s happening when. I know posts about our politics; and non USAmerican politics really; don’t get a lot of traction on here, but like despite the UScentrism of the English speaking user base it’s really helpful and beneficial to share these things. The situation is likely downright horrifying to those being targeted right now and it really should be a priority for us to go out and counter this to the best of our abilities

I don't know who the art people are!!! It is 3 a.m. here, i have work tomorrow (today) and I just want to know the name of the thing!!!!!!

First time I saw it was on a picrew. Then I started seeing it as I searched through pinterest for inspiration. The only thing I know is that it belongs to asian culture and I would guess very old japan but I might just be saying some random shit.

I would also research on it to learn its history and context. and I can provide all art's author's name when I'm properly awake........

The Bats have a new case where bodies keep having organs taken from them. This happens in morgues, to bodies found on the street, with absolutely nothing in common except for one thing.

The bodies with stolen organs all have little notes. Last words. Wills. Passwords to safes and bank accounts, sweet I love yous to spouses and kids. Some rather specific info from a body that was identified to be a gang member, which allowed the bats to catch the boss (who had betrayed the guy.)

Almost as if the ghosts are writing these notes.

And, well, they are dictating them. Phantom is the one writing them for the spirits, and in return, he’s taking body parts as payment.

He doesn’t care if a liver is past expiration date and therefore the living can’t use it as a transplant. A little ecto will fix it right up, and he can put it into his body, frozen in a fusion of his ice and clockworks time. He’s not fully dead. Just… split. That’s fine though.

He just needs to replace the parts that got ripped out of him in the vivisection.

Sometimes it’s hard to read fanfic when you’re studying herbalism.. when they have the character preparing a tincture to use that same DAY!!?

Baby those dried herbs need to sit in that jar with high proof alcohol for at LEAST a month!

That’s why before the use of calendars ppl use to prepare their tinctures either on the new moon or full moon. A a full moon cycle is usually 28 days or so. And they would give the moon names so it’s easier to remember when/what month said tincture was bottled.

This is also why herbal medicine is prepare in small batches. You have to take your time preparing your bottles. Making sure everything is clean so you don’t end up with mold. Diluting your grain alcohol. Heckkk knowing when to pick your herbs for max potency! Drying your herbs! That takes a lot of time too!
