And then in the finale ep, we see the same setting and shots with the family portraits visible behind Vi.

I honestly believe it's fair to assume from this scene alone that Caitlyn may have even told Vi right then and there exactly what she was looking for. She's holding the remnant of the bomb, scrolling through blueprints and Vi is humming a melancholy tune from her family.

That completely reads to me as her sort of falling into her memories as Caitlyn explores the possibilities of Jinx's survival.

I also really do think it's absolutely untrue that learning Jinx is alive would send Vi into a frantic search to find her again. The fandom complains about Vi having no agency but then acts like she's also completely incapable of growth.

She WILL always love her sister, that much is obvious. But loving her can manifest in different ways considering all they've been through. At the very end of it all, I'd like to think that Vi would both come to terms with and respect Jinx's choice to walk away and break the cycle. She'd probably eventually realize it was what was best for both of them, to allow true healing and for them to each pursue something that would bring them peace.

For Jinx, it was escaping the prison full of ghosts that both cities had become for her. She was a wanted criminal and regardless of any pardon would face lifelong scrutiny. Leaving Piltover/Zaun allows her a fresh start in so many ways.

Vi has always put family first and foremost. For her, finally having a consistent and comfortable place she can call home with someone she loves would be true happiness. All she's ever really wanted is peace and she has it now.

I think the show completely spells this out for us too so I'm confused as to why it's even a conversation ;-; lol

"You don't have to be guilty."

"You deserve to be with her."

"Always with you, sis. Even when we're worlds apart." I think people overlook Jinx letting Vi go in the prison scene because of the fact that she goes to try and off herself afterwards, but she was sincere too. And once Ekko helps her out of that spiral, I don't at all think her feelings changed. Jinx's final act of love for Vi was allowing her out of the cycle as well. She kinda had to break it FOR Vi. She wouldn't WANT her to follow. It's partially WHY I think she allows Vi to believe she's dead. Can't follow her if she's not alive.

The two of them are always going to love one another, even if that means letting go. ESPECIALLY if that means letting go. Their journey was coming to understand one another, accept that they'd both changed, and that their paths had diverged a long time ago.

That's a bittersweet ending maybe, but also a happy one.

a bit of follow up to this post - re - does Vi know or suspect about Jinx's fate after S2

I've seen so many posts here or on reddit claiming that Caitlyn suspects something but chooses not to tell Vi "until she knows for sure", or because Vi "would break if she knew".

...which sort of implies that Vi can't be trusted when it comes to Jinx and that Caitlyn is the reasonable and level-headed one in the matter.

And I just think it's funny because the show consistently shows us the opposite - Caitlyn is the one who has been (understandably!) blinded by her rage toward Jinx and is the one who ultimately defers to Vi's judgment to make the right call ("Vi thinks Jinx deserves a second chance? Alright, I'm gonna let her go free - nevermind that everyone in Piltover including my own father would hate me for my decision if they knew)"

And Vi's judgment is ultimately proven right - "she can't give up on Jinx" not in the sense that she's doomed to chase after her forever, but in the sense that she was right to see the good in her (how do we know that? Jinx comes back to save the day!). And none of that changes in the last scene.

As much as I want to be a wholly joyous about the fact that Henry Kissinger is finally fucking dead, as he deserves... There's a lot of me that can't help being upset with. With the fact that he lived to 100 years old. He got better medical care, better housing, and a better, more stable life for those 100 years than billions on this planet ever going to see and he did it specifically through exploitation, state sanctioned murder, and lies. He lived to 100 years comfortably on a legacy of violence that rarely threatened his personal comfort. I want to be joyous that he's finally dead, because the world IS better with him dead, but the reality is he won a long time ago.

Gerald let Maria and Shadow spend time together. He saw that Shadow won't hurt her and he let them be friends. This is so important. He called them "kids" and also when he says "they want to take Shadow away from us" - he cared about Shadow too and realized that he is just a kid just like his granddaughter. Gerald was definitely a good grandpa and a good guy before Maria got killed.

I love it when people draw Robin!Dick as a little creepy unsettling child like yes he embodies the blue eyed stare and moves in ways humans were never meant to move in and he never really grew out of it. Like the bright colours, the flips and the quips are so deceiving he’s so unsettling in the way no other Robin could quite replicate. I just know every criminal breathed a sigh of relief when he finally outgrew the tights.
