major hornets nest moment here but i must speak my truth. its so fascinating to me how will byers was clearly written with the driving motivation and intention of making him a beloved fan favorite character and instead he falls so flat that, if you asked the average casual viewer of the show who doesn't engage in the fandom like, say, your coworker, the odds of him even being in their top five of favorite characters is pretty low.

will's disappearance kicks off the plot, singlehandedly. the first episode is literally called the vanishing of will byers. his name is shouted so much in the first season that most people would recognize the reference if you used the right cadence and desperation that winona ryder does. after not being featured much in season one, you'd think season two would've just like launched will/noah schnapp into stardom with how much more screentime he's given and how dramatic his plot is that season. but instead the fan favorites of season 2 were by and large el, hopper, dustin, steve, max, even bob who's barely there. that's not to say that there AREN'T will fans out there (and online i understand there are like entire armies dedicated to him/byler, but i'm talking about the average opinion of viewers as a whole, not just in fandom spaces) but think about all the stranger things merch you see in stores, the halloween costumes, the characters that appear in promotional materials when the show has partnerships with brands....will is so rarely featured. idk if any of yall ever got the chance to visit the stranger things pop up shop in any of its various locations, but there was such little mention of will in the stores theming or merchandise that it was almost funny. actually it WAS funny, to me, someone who does not care for him

i think the flop can be attributed to many things. one, noah schnapp is just not a very good actor and he doesn't have the same appeal in his performances that millie, sadie, caleb, gaten, priah, or finn do (although finn i've noticed is also kinda falling out of favor from majority audiences). one could argue that noah schnapp intentionally isn't given much to do, which is true and i'll circle back to that, but the decline in his acting between seasons 2 and 3 is truly a sight to behold. when he's not like tied up and screaming, he reallllllly struggles on the smaller scale performances compared to the other cast members his age. he doesn't really have the charm that gaten does or the humor that priah does or the depth that caleb does. (i don’t feel bad about saying this, btw, given noah schnapp’s behavior)

back to the vanishing of will byer's screen time. my beloved prettymuchit's eric striffler commented on how diminished will and mike's roles in the story have become in s4. "noah schnapp is below the grips on the call sheet" is my fav line, but he also makes an observation on finn's role that i think is soooo accurate. when mike and will are kneeling down next to the pizza dough freezer and watching el just kinda twitch while she fights vecna in her mind, eric and his co-host miles say "this is so embarrassing! finn's like, 'oh so gaten's fighting the monster? and i'm kneeling next to a tub at a pizza place? i used to be this show" and i think the same exact sentiment can be superimposed onto will

but i think this happened naturally, as the nature of the show is to shift its focus from character to character. not to mention the duffer brothers' obsession with tweaking their story to give audiences what they want. i've always held the belief that there isn't one main character of stranger things, rather a rotating circle of characters depending on the season you're watching. season one is mike, season two is hopper, season three is el, season four is max imo. again that's a little subjective and arguments could be made to swap those a little, but overall i think those characters stories and point of views take center stage during each of their respective seasons. by season 3, the duffers wanted to kick things up to a larger scale. the UD is no longer targeting just will, it's targeting the entire town. this works because a THIRD season in a row where this one kid specifically gets possessed would just be bonkers, so they kinda had to let him take a backseat. i'm not sure why they didn't let will be more involved in the mystery-solving portion of season 3....to this day that decision baffles me, but what's done is done and the will that everyone watched in season 3 literally just kinda follows everyone around and gets a small little slice of a plotline about wanting things to go back to normal, but alas

it like totally worked, though. though there are MANY complaints commonly made about season 3, i've never heard anyone offline complain that there wasn't enough will byers. i think the group in s3 that had the most success like, commercially, would be scoops troop and then a bit farther back i think most audiences enjoyed hopper/joyce/murray's dynamic. i think if there had been a huge outcry in the minimizing of will's role, the duffers would've backpedaled immediately. they aim to please. they can't even commit to killing of a main character out of fear that audiences will lose interest if we permanently lose hopper or max, so they just do some creative writing that allows them to milk the emotional consequence of those characters deaths without actually writing them off. if audiences on a large scale demanded that will be center stage, he would be. but they dont!

final point: i think will gets fucked over by the duffers obsession with romance. in season one, two of will's strongest dynamics are with his mom and brother. which like, yeah. theyre his immediately family and he is 12. but in seasons 2 and 3, jonathan spent all his screen time with nancy and from 2-4, joyce has spent all her screen time either with hopper or in the pursuit of finding hopper. these characters are written together as a package deal, typically. it was refreshing and unexpected to see jonathan get a whole season with a friend of his very own and his siblings, but they barely took advantage of that. jonathan and will get ummmm one (1) scene to talk about their emotions in a fucking 20 hour season. it's hard for will to be a main character when he rarely gets to interact with the people that make up the other half of his main dynamics.

as for byler, im of the belief that it will not be endgame because i just don't think they're going to break up mike and el at this point. i could be completely wrong and stand corrected, but im like 90% sure lol. i do think that will's s4 storyline resonated with a lot of people. even eric striffler! i think the issue is that the vastttt majority of people who watch this show above the age of like 15 do not feel invested about the romantic relationships between any of the kids. because why would they!!! theyre literally in middle school for 3/4 of the show. you would be hard pressed to find a vocal will stan online who doesn't also dedicate 90% of their engagement with the show to byler. which makes sense, because most if not all of will's scenes revolve around mike to some degree. but according to neilsen, the majority of stranger things audience is consistently in the 18-49 age range season by season. its more likely for adult audiences to identify with adults (or characters who are narratively treated like adults, like steve and nancy) than with any of the kids. esp when the kid in question, despite being written as the focal point of the show, has less relevant plotlines, less interaction with other characters, and an actor who just doesn't deliver on charm the way his fellow younger costars do

Dance the Night | Lucy Bronze

A/N: Based on this request. Please enjoy this as much as I enjoyed writing it. Also, I am actually going to have a FaceTime date with my own Northern English, defender this Sunday so wish me luck :)

Lucy and I had the shared experience of playing in an American university. The only difference was that UC Berkeley was my home for my time there.

One of the things that I did during my four years at Cal that made them special and even was something that people loved learning about me was that I was also a part of a dance group whilst playing football. When I was in America, I found that dance was a good way to maintain my cardio and it was a fun way to keep my mind off of football for a bit. I used to do ballet as a kid and did some hip-hop dancing as I grew older so it was not something too out of the ordinary.

Even though football was my true calling, that did not stop me from dancing in the locker rooms before games, and posting little dance covers on Tik Tok during camps at the behest of Mary Earps. The only reason that the fans got wind of the fact that I’m that teammate constantly dancing was because of Lucy, who was filming one time before we played in a friendly against Germany and posting it on Instagram. She says that I didn’t pull her immediately that day but I know Lucy and I saw the way she watched me behind the phone as I danced to Work Out by J. Cole.

During the Euros, it became a thing, I guess, for the main Lionesses Instagram to post my pregame dances in the locker room. One of those I ended up teaching Miss Lucy Bronze how to slow dance which turned into a faster dance much to Lucy’s dismay. Lucy twirling me into a hold was the focal point of the video and I get why this one became a fan favorite and material for loads of couple edits of us.

The caption of said post, “@bbcstrictly @y/n is waiting for her call-up! 👀”

Of course I commented, “@y/n: @bbcstrictly ok but actually I would be down, I love love love the show 💃🙏”

Post win at the Euros, I was getting a call from the producers of Strictly Come Dancing to perform a one-time, special dance. They said that it was some kind of honoring fit for a new European champion.

I worked it out with my management that it would definitely be something that I could do after the World Cup since that was my next objective after a successful Euros run.

During the off time in the World Cup, I found myself talking to the producers as they had ideas of the performance and the choreography that would go with it. So, sometimes I would have to deny a walk with Lucy to figure out some logistics. I was met with a small but still visible pout from Lucy as she only nodded and would call up Jordan to take my place.

My attention was monopolized once we finalized what song and choreography we were aiming for and of course my new dance partner. I didn’t really know the guy but apparently he was on a reality show and all the girls were after him. The only taste of reality shows that I had was occasionally watching Love Island over Rachel and Millie’s shoulders on bus rides to games. I did not understand at all what went on but the drama was entertaining from what I saw.

“So, you’re not going to tell me the name of the song you will be dancing to?” Lucy said as she remained sitting on the hotel bed as she watched me change into something nicer than the training set I had been in all day. Eyes trained on me the whole time.

“Nope, it’s a surprise, baby. Sworn to secrecy anyways” I said as I got ready for our walk.

Lucy frowned as she started scratching her neck “well at least show me who you are going to be dancing with, like what if it’s a weirdo you know?”

I comply and give her my phone after I look up the name of the guy they had paired me up with.

“Not too bad looking right?” I tease, as I put on some dunks and ask for my phone back.

Lucy raised an eyebrow and laughed a little, “I know I can’t dance like you but ya think it’s too late to ask if I could be your dance partner?”

Now it was my turn to laugh, “don’t be jealous baby, now let’s get going there is a cafe with a chocolate pastry I wanted to try!”

I pulled her up ignoring the small pout and muttering “ ‘m not jealous” as I gave her a quick kiss on the cheek and dragged her out of the door.

After our loss at the World Cup final and a lot of tearful goodbyes to the other girls, Lucy and I made our way back to Barcelona and just took some time to decompress.

One of Lucy’s favorite things to wake up to was seeing me in the kitchen making myself breakfast, dancing in silence with my airpods in my ears without a care in the world.

This particular Saturday morning, however, she was confused because instead of a loose, messy bun, my hair was brushed and down.

Instead of one of my old, English training shirts, I was in a lilac crop top and denim shorts that showed off my legs and not my old PSG shorts.

As she got closer, the smell of her favorite perfume on me hit her nose, suddenly Lucy stood there wondering what day it was and did she fuck up and forgot some anniversary.

As I turned to go to our fridge to pull out the water pitcher, I caught sight of Lucy just standing by the kitchen island.

“Baby, you know it’s rude to stare” I tease and followed up with a quick kiss on her cheek “Good Morning, sleepy head”

Lucy remained silent for a beat before going, “Why are you all dressed up on a Saturday morning?...Did I forget something?”

She rubbed her eyes, lifting her clear glasses as she did so.

“Nope, our anniversary is still Bastille day, uh my birthday hasn’t changed and yours is still in October” I listed them off on my fingers and then continued as if I didn’t leave Lucy even more confused as I began cleaning the counter.

A pair of arms wrapped around me stopping me in my tracks as Lucy burrowed her head into my neck taking in the perfume I wore.

“Then will Miss L/N tell me where she is going dressed like this, hm?” She mumbled as she placed a chaste kiss on my neck.

“Going to get lunch with…ugh what was his name? The one I'm going to be dancing with for Strictly Dancing, baby” I say, nonchalantly, a smirk creeping at my mouth as I felt Lucy’s arms tighten around me and her mouth getting close to my ear.

Lucy did not show jealousy often but I loved it when she did. I loved teasing her but she would always dismiss it saying that she knew that I was hers so why should she worry. But the tone of her voice gave her away.

“Oh really?” She says softly in my ear before turning me around my back to the countertop now. My face remained unfazed as I nodded, even though I was loving everything about the interaction.

“Yes?” I nod over to the other counter across from me. “I made you some breakfast so ya don’t miss me too much, even cut you some fruit”.

The softness and nonchalant nature of my voice made her jaw tightened a bit.

“Want me to go with you?” she said not letting me go, still caging me in against the counter.

I thought for a moment and then shook my head “no” and simply replied.

“I’m a big girl. Don’t you worry, Lucia” My eyebrows raised slightly as Lucy pulled back.

Lucy moves her arms back to her side, “Fine, but I’m driving you”

She did end up driving me to the little brunch place and ignored my “protests” of “you don’t have to walk me to the restaurant, Luce” as she held me tightly at the waist, her hand possessively on the bare skin on my waist.

I let myself out of Lucy’s hold as I introduced myself to my dance partner. He truly was the object of every other girls dream…just not mine. He wasn’t unattractive at all. Even though Lucy came literally holding me at the waist, it didn’t stop my dance partner from subtly looking me up at down.

“Well, it’s great to meet a Euro Champion and a world cup finalist, (y/n)” he said avoiding Lucy’s glare through her sunglasses.

I stop him and laughed, “well technically two, this is Lucy Bronze, my partner, she was just dropping me off”

Lucy only extends her hand out to the guy and firmly shakes his hand and mutters out “pleasure”.

The guy only nods “well, I’ll make sure she gets home safely”.

I hide the smile on my face when I saw Lucy, still holding his hand, say bluntly.

“Oh? No, I’ll be picking her up, don’t you worry” the guy’s hand falling limp as she let’s go.

I give Lucy a hug and planned to just give her a quick kiss on the cheek but she pulled me closer to her by the waist and gave me a slow kiss on the lips,

Before I pull away, she whispered quietly in my ear, “just wanted to make sure he knows who you're coming home to”

The little brunch outing was interesting to say the least. The boy was bold given Lucy did stare him down when she picked me up like she promised. Especially as we left the restaurant but I, kindly, avoided his “subtle” advances of him trying to lead me to Lucy’s car.

What had been discussed about the dance and from what I could see is that I would be the main focal point and he would be, for lack of a better term, an accessory. I, of course, would not be telling Lucy that immediately, I was very much enjoying the attention she was giving me.

It being essentially a solo dance made it easier since I have training and I wouldn't have to rely on someone else to also learn the choreography…which allowed for me to work on a little surprise for Lucy with my extra free time.

“Baby, can you help me with something?” I yelled down the hall of our shared apartment.

Lucy came in shortly with a raised eyebrow “ yeah what’s up?”

“Remember how you said that you wanted to be my dance partner instead of what’s his face?” I say as I move some of our furniture out of the way to make space in the middle all while trying to not hit Narla in the process.

Lucy looked at me confused and with a laugh said, “I never said that…what’d you need though?”

I grab her hands and pull her to the middle of our living room “Well can you be my dance partner? You know with all the training and all I can’t really practice the choreo with him…so you want to help me?”

Lucy smiled and nodded as she pulled me closer to her and gave me a twirl “Ok, miss l/n, lead on”

My, sweet, Lucia can be a wonderful dancer when she puts time into in. She followed my direction even though the “quick movements of the dance” were something she would have to get used to but eventually after a couple of weeks. She was able to fluidly hold me and move with me.

Narla definitely got a kick out of her two moms doing something akin to the salsa in the living room. I would say Lucy, even with the groans and complaints, secretly, enjoyed it as well.

The day of filming came quickly and out of nowhere and we were filming it in the streets of Barcelona; there was just no way we would be able to fly to England and back, especially with pre-season and games starting.

I just want to give a special thank you to M&S for giving Lucy that outfit she wore during that one photoshoot we had with England, honestly, doing the Lord’s work. I had subtly asked that I would love to see her wear it again and again subtly suggested she wear it to the Strictly Dancing shoot and I just love it when she listens to me.

Luce was behind the cameras and chatted with the producers as they waited for me to come out of the dressing room ready to film.

As I was led out with my hand loosely in my dance partner’s I reveled the intensity of Lucy’s stare.

Why?

Well I had a silver, fringe dress with an open back and the dress came up to my mid thigh and matching high heels and, well the fact, my dance partner was trying ever so slightly to get closer to me as we were speaking with the director.

As we got into position, center “stage” in the streets of Barcelona, I look over to Lucy and give a quick wink to her.

“Dance the Night by Dua Lipa” started to play on the set. I began moving quickly and sensually and interacting very little with my partner. The fringe of the dress definitely did not leave much to the imagination. There were parts where his hand would find my waist but those lasted only a few seconds.

Lucy watched, not letting me escape her sight and hid her frown as she noted the times my dance partner would slow the movements of his hands once they reached my waist or when he looked me over as I danced a little ahead of him.

We did not anticipate it being a one take but it was something that I wanted as it was more real in a way. As the music faded and the host came onto the stage to interview me, I caught Lucy in the corner of my eye, and she was smiling so big and visibly more relaxed.

“(y/n), so happy you could be here and we are just so happy to celebrate you and your achievements. How does it feel?” I hold the microphone, still catching my breath

“I loved this to be honest, love the show, and dancing is just something that I enjoy other than football. Uh, it’s definitely been some time since I’ve performed at this scale but it was absolutely a treat, thank you all for inviting me” I said gesturing to the crew members.

“Well, again we are happy to be a part of this and we know that another Euro Champions is in our midst, and I know that you had a little something prepared for the both of you?” The cameras now focused on a very confused Lucy.

I laugh and continue, “Yes, Miss Bronze, she thinks she has been helping me practice for this sole performance but we were actually going to dance together as well, come on babe” I gesture for her to come onto the stage.

The interviewer walks off announcing, “and now for a special dance by the Euro Champions and World Cup Finalists choreographed by Miss (y/n) (l/n)”.

Lucy finally reached me and whispered, “You little sneak,you planned this didn’t you?”

I only wink and immediately pushed Lucy into position like we have been doing at home in our living room.

“Maybe~” The music restarted and Lucy with the biggest smile on her face did everything perfectly. There were some slips in the movement but they were replaced with laughter as Lucy held onto me tightly as the music faded.

She hugged me tightly whispering, “Im so proud of you” her hands finding their place at my hips.

I gave her a quick kiss on the lips as we both ignored the claps from the crew members.

“So…would it be wrong to ask if you can keep the dress?” I smack her slightly at the question.

I give her a knowing smile, “Dress is mine to keep, but I don’t want to keep it on for too long, Miss Lucia Bronze”

I have never seen Lucy excuse herself, thank all the crew members and wish everyone a wonderful weekend so quickly before carrying me off the set in the midst of a fit of laughter.

Let’s just say that these scenes from the recording quickly overtook the locker room dance in edits and well it was all worth the teasing from our teammates when it finally aired.

Sinsmas came out, and I bawled. here's me yapping about it.

-Blitz put horses EVERYWHERE to try and make Stolas happy

-Stolas was asking for his antidepressants. keep in mind he goes this whole episode, which takes place over the course of a month, completely unmedicated.

Overall, this episode was AMAZING. The writing was great, the emotional moments hit hard, the animation was great as usual, and the pacing was good, if not a bit clunky. What a great end to the season.

(so why am I suggesting that Finn's top 3 spots are his parents (with Noah taking the 4th position) (i was shocked when he said noah is his 4th) , for few reasons:

the interviewer himself specified: after your family , who would you pick from the cast?

MAYA said she would take out her dad from the list to make room for gaten.

TOP 8 (naturally) parents -> siblings -> boyfriend/girlfreind -> cast mates

sadie picked Noah & millie. Noah's actual BFFs are sadie and millie. not finn. finn is more like his_____you know. so finn wasn't even expecting noah to say his name, noah is his 4th and assumed that he is noah's 4th. which btw noah proved this year.....Noah crowned finn with 4th position in his wrap post for this particular reason.

So, why am I laying out these reasons? A lot of you might be tempted to jump straight to 2:45, which is fine, but if you do, you’ll miss out on why FOAH is probably the real deal.

Dedication: I am dedicating this to @niallermybabe because I know that she would have loved this and I planned about writing this in december 2023 and actually talked to her about it. Bells, you sadly never got to tell me what you think about my concrete plans for this, but at this point, I´m going to imagine all the MILLUM FLUFF messages from you. Thank you for being part of my life even though there was still so much for us to do.

The writing “ANNANDALE HOTEL” on the corner of the street sent goosebumps over my entire body. This is where it all began, where the band began.

It´s a full life-circle moment, glancing over to Calum, I can see that he is feeling the same way. He and I never went back to this place, it all happened too fast: Going viral, being on tour with my brother Louis and 1D. Even if we wanted, we spent no time thinking about going back here.

And as much nostalgia as I am feeling right now, the thought of setting a foot into the bar where I watched 5SOS perform in front of a crowd for the first time makes my head spin.

The guys are filming their music video for the single “Old Me” today and all four of them wanted me to be a part of it. When Calum first asked me if I wanted to be a part of this historically important project, I denied. It seemed like the most realistic thing to do, for both my anxiety of being bullied by the media for simply existing, but also to have less attention on me.

It took Ashton, Luke and Micheal to come to our house and begging me to participate. They wanted to make the video sequence to look as realistic as possible and me not being there would apparently be unbearable. And, I mean? Who could not say yes to 3 friends pleading at you? Right, me neither.

Fast forward, it was a warm February morning and me and Calum collectively took a moment to prepare ourselves for this nostalgic experience we were about to witness.

We were the first to arrive besides the camera team. Patiently waiting for the others, I noticed Calum nervousness. We were standing in the middle of the bar, staring right at the stage they played on 10 years ago. I grabbed Calum´s arm and he looked down on me. “Is everything alright?” I whispered, not wanting to have the technical team eavesdropping on us.

Calum nodded, but seemed absent, like he is lost in the past, in something that keeps his mind busy.

“Don´t lie to me. I know there´s something on your mind.” I gave him a soft smile. “You know you can talk to me, right?”

“Thanks, sweetie. But everything´s alright. It´s just a lot to take in, you know?”

Even though that didn´t seem like the honest answer, I didn´t ask further. If he didn´t want to talk about it, then I should leave it.

Sooner or later, Ashton, Luke and Micheal arrived and with them the younger actors that would portray them as teenagers, playing their first ever concert.

What I didn´t knew, the team also casted a younger me. In front of me stood a 17 year old girl living not far from where the Annandale Hotel is, whose name would be Milly for the next hours of shooting this music video.

To be honest, I couldn´t move. It caught me completely by surprise, but I still had enough control over my own body to go up to her and introduce myself.

“Hey, I´m Milly. You´re me?” I asked with an amused smile on my face.

“Hello, so nice meeting you. I´m Nico.” Her straight blonde hair did look exactly like mine and even her smile reminded me of old photos I still have of my time in Australia.

“Come on, wanna meet the guys?” Nicos face lit up and I immediately knew she was a huge fan when it then turned into a mixture of shyness and excitement. “You like them?” I asked.

She nodded aggressively. “Been listening to their music since their tour with One Direction.” As soon as she said that, her face was adorned with a form of horror. “Oh my god. I completely forgot you´re Louis Tomlinsons sister.” she breathed out.

I chuckled. “Milly Tomlinson is my name, correct. So come on, let´s talk to the guys.”

Nico hesitated, but she was too curious to let the opportunity slide to me her idols.

“Calum, I found a fan.” I said, gently touching Nico´s back to introduce her to my boyfriend.

Before we could actually start shooting, it was a lot back and forth, we needed styling, the right outfits. There was a lot of work going into these shootings every time and I was in awe a little more every time as well.

Me and Calum stayed close during the preparation, he knew how much pressure was on me without me saying a word, I guess he could sense my head aches by now.

“Okay, let´s go guys.” the middle-aged man who was in charge of everything stood up and talked to the team.

“We are first going to recreate the scene with the young actors, can I please get Harry, Tim, Peter, Lucas and Nico up on the stage?”

The five of them walked up to the tiny staircase to get onto the stage. The group all in all had a stressed look on their face, already begging for it to be over probably. I saw so much of us in these kids, I wouldn´t even question it, if they told us, they were all secret relatives of us.

“Aren´t they amazing?” I heard Calums voice next to me. When I glanced over to him, I saw him staring at the stage, just like he´s watching his younger self, like he travelled through time.

“YOU are amazing.” I responded, making him smile.

When he looked over to me and our eyes met, the brown of his eyes still made me melt like chocolate, as if there weren´t 10 years between our first meeting and today. I still love this man till death tears us apart.

He gave me a quick kiss on the lips before he walked up to Micheal to talk something over. Even though it never seemed like it, my man is nearly as nervous as me at video shoots, but it never shows. To calm him down, it helps talking to one of his band mates who are in the same situation as him.

Sooner or later, I had no idea where my boyfriend was, I was too focused on our younger selves doing an incredible job in front of the camera. Ashton helped his mini version how to play the drums so it look authentic and I talked to Nico a bit about how it really was to be watching the four guys 10 years ago, I guess it helped her to get more into the role and to portray my emotions better.

“Okay, scene 3, take 5” someone shouted and the cameras rolled again. “She looks so perfect” played over someones phone audio, just so the actor for Luke could mouth the words and everyone else played their instrument to the beat.

“CUT!” The cameras stopped filming and the actors stopped mid-action. “Okay, that´s it. Good job everyone, enjoy your break.”

I just decided to go find Calum when Luke walked up to me. “Hey, Milly, could you get my phone from the dressing room? I must´ve left it there but don´t have enough time to go back right now.”

I did question why he couldn´t just do it himself, since the producer officially called it a break, but I still went to do my friend a favor.

As I walked through the door to get to the improvised dressing rooms for the band and other actors, the first thing that catched my eyes, were the rose petals on the ground.

Tons and tons of red roses lying on the ground.

I froze. Was this what I was thinking this is?

Slowly, I let my gaze wander through the dressing rooms. And there he was.

Calum, the love of my life, the man I turn to, who knows me like no one else was, kneeled in front of me.

It all started to blur because I wasn´t able to hold back the tears that already ran down my cheeks.

I got closer to him and asked. “What are you doing here?” I couldn´t hold back a quiet chuckle.

“The thing I should´ve done way sooner.” tears were shimmering in his eyes as well, I noticed. “Mildred Tomlinson, do you want to marry me? Do you want to spend the rest of your life with me?” He asked the question and I couldn´t help it but think about all the times I thought of him proposing to me or marrying Calum. We never talked about it, I was too afraid to ask him, if he would even want to marry me.

And even though I secretly hoped to marry him one day, I never in my wildest dreams imagined him on one knee with a small little box in his hand. I thought it wasn´t his thing. That he wouldn´t want to make a big scene, Calum is a silent and introverted guy after all.

“Yes! Yes, of course!” I shouted and ran up to him to wrap my arms around him and be surrounded by the love of my life.

He gave me a little kiss on my cheek and even after all these years of being in a relationship with him, the butterflies came alive in my stomach and flew around like they never have before.

I´m going to get married.

I let Calum go and he put a small silver ring with a shiny diamond on my finger. His hands were shaking, so were mine, I don´t think I´ve ever been more happy in my entire life.

“I love you, you idiot.”

I heard loud clapping behind my back and found myself in front of not only the bandmates of my now-fiancée, but the entire camera crew of the music video who were filming all of this.

“Did you plan this?” I asked in utter disbelief, my gaze wandering between Calum and the other guys, standing in the door.

They all nodded at the same time. That´s when I turned back to Calum and gave him another hug. “You are unbelievable.” I whispered in his ear.

(BTW this is going off my own interpretation of Werewolves, so just be aware this might stray from the usual)

Blitzo and Loona finding out his human S/O is a secret werewolf

You may have done your best to hide it, cleaning up any fur you shed in the apartment, masking the fur care advice you gave to Loona as it being from a friend, and rushing out somewhere out of the way when the full moon came so neither saw you transform.

This is helped Blitz is usually busy on full moons with Stolas, so you don't really need to worry about him, and Loona minds her buisness usually, not questioning you speeding out every month

But if we know one thing, is that Blitz is one nosy little bitch.

With someone he's comfortable with showing affection for, he sees no boundries, even when you tell him some.

So when he hears Loona mention how you leave for a good while every full moon, he's suspicous, admittedly afraid you might be cheating on him while he's with Stolas.

So he schedules with the bird to do things a day early so he can be home during the full moon. Asks you about it, getting a very dodgey answer about seeing friends but that doesn't satisfy him.

When you eventually rush out, he grabs Loona (Who is very annoyed btw) and they tail you, expecting you to head to some other apartment or hotel but instead you end up in a near abandoned part of the city, only really inhabited by gangs and the like and Blitz get's less angry and more concerned for you.

Eventually you stop in an alley, with the two peeking from the end, seeing you shrug off your coat before you start breathing heavily and starting you yell almost unnaturually.

Blitz rushes towards you, yelling your name, making you turn to him in surprise, trying to shout for him to leave before you slam your hand on the ground as your nails turn to claws and fur covers your body, growing in size.

Loona just goes "Holy shit..." at the sight, you falling to your knees as you fully transform, growing a muzzle, wolf ears and a long bushy tail not unlike Loona's own. Just staying there breating heavily before going "Why did you follow me...?"weakly.

They both just say that they were concerned you were in trouble, neglecting to mention Blitz's original thought. The Imp asking you why you were hiding this from them. Just getting you thought he'd be disgusted, having met you as a human.

He denies the notion, honestly loving the new look which get's you blushing in surprise, Loona also saying you look pretty cool. And you fit into Hell more with this form then as a human anyway.

You admit that when you still lived on earth, people considered you a monster and hated you for your lycanthropy despite you able to control yourself. Transforming voluntary aside from Full Moons.

They call how you were treated the BS it is before Blitz hugs you, a bit flustered by how much bigger you are now but still, Loona putting a hand on your shoulder softly. As you cry a little, happy they both still love you.

After that your a bit more open with it, transforming at home, and eventually at the office after Blitz clears it with Millie and Moxxie. Your able to live and control your actions in both forms so it's just a matter of what your feeling at the moment.

Blitz asks about it, curious how it works and if it's tough for you. Honestly thinking of asking Stolas if he'd help cure you, but you admit that hating your werewolf side was more a taught behavior, and you've grown to like it since him and Loona have started welcoming it as part of you, which you appreciate greatly.

He'll also make jokes about it but not insenstive ones, mainly dirty ones "Hey wanna do it like dogs tonight Y/N~?" But he'll back off if they seriously annoy you or something.

Blitz loves to nuzzle into your fur, complimenting how soft it is, sometimes falling asleep on you like a pillow which you find adorable. You sometimes transforming when he's tired so he'll rest on you, you can wash the drool off in the morning.

As for Loona, she pratically will treat you like just another Hellhound, cause that's kinda what you are transformed and all. You two will vent to eachother how hard fur care is and how it get's everywhere, laughing together.

When she introduces you to Vortex in your wolf form, he goes "Yo is this your parent Loona?" Which gets her very flustered, not used to considering you that yet.

Overall they both love it, it's a part of you and just as lovable as the rest they feel, and they accept it with open arms.

Okay I enjoyed that! Again did my own spin on werewolves, less suffering, more just fun hijinks with two forms removed from people who look down on it. I like wholesome, so I do wholesome. Hope you enjoyed!

TDI23 Season 2 ep 1 thoughts and theories. Spoilers ahead.

*I did see the earlier leak of the teams and first boot btw*

Chris is bonkers as usual and Chef is pretty much the same so far. I expect that to change if my theories about Lauren are right.

The opening being the exact same as last time bugs me a little bit but I guess they are avoiding spoilers that way so meh.

The team names are pretty lame tbh but whatever.

I liked the challenge for the most part and how everyone got to compete. Axe Hatchet is a total badass and I wouldn't mind seeing her again. 10/10 side character.

I feel bad for Sally, Chris is such a turd.

I'm on the fence about the elimination. More on that down below.

Now onto the contestants:

Team Rat Face

Priya:

She's the only winner of season one which I didn't fully expect but it makes sense given her storyline and her parents are insane. Especially her dad, my god. She's an official team leader and is still holding a grudge against Ripper lol. Her concern over Millie in the challenge was sweet. I hope she goes far again and learns to stand up for herself against her parents.

Millie:

Her sassing Bowie was funny to me but she didn't read Priya's Total Drama guidebook and tried way too hard in the first challenge. It kinda seems like she didn't want to come back or something. I hope she reads the guide before she gets eliminated early on like so many people are saying.

Emma:

I'm glad she broke up with Chase but they need to STAY BROKEN UP. Her giving Nichelle the cold shoulder was really mean and a little unexpected. It seems like her and Bowie aren't speaking to each other and I'm curious to see how that plays out. Not sure where she'll place, maybe in the middle?

Caleb:

Seems like he's trying to be strategic instead of villainous so far and struggling a little bit thanks to Millie. I hope he doesn't hurt Priya in some way. It's nice to see him getting more lines and screentime. He'll probably go far.

Damien:

I didn't expect him to still be a scaredy cat after what he said last season. If he doesn't change for the better soon I'm going to be extremely disappointed. No idea where he will place.

Axel:

She says that she's going to try to be nicer this time but I have my doubts and Ripper seems to be the exception lol. She might go far or she might go early again for being hot-headed.

Zee:

My favourite of season one is back and a soda influencer now which I didn't see coming. I really hope it doesn't get him eliminated early like it did in the challenge which was total crap. His soda was "moving" but he wasn't so he should have been fine. I would also like to see him interact with Priya more because I kinda ship them a bit. Both of his closest friends are on the other team so it could happen. I hope he goes far.

The other official team leader. His sass towards Chase was great but I thought it was weird that he picked him for his team. A lot of the cast is mad at him for last season and with that half-hearted apology, he seems to be digging himself into a deeper hole. His romance with Raj is still sweet and I hope it stays that way. I personally think he'll get booted early.

Raj:

I don't know if he'll go early or later but I think he'll help Emma and Bowie become friends again at the very least.

Wayne:

I would like him to go farther I think but I don't know what storyline he could have if he does. Might be an early boot unfortunately.

Julia:

Her and MK suddenly getting along is super weird and I fully expect one to backstab the other. I was impressed how she took Emma out of the challenge though. Another middle boot?

Chase:

Still dumb and still over confident. I could see him going early just for that and not listening to Bowie during challenges.

MK:

Seems to be on friendly terms with Julia but I think it's an act and she's going to backstab her at some point. Has an idea for the extra intern uniform and her hitching a ride on Caleb's back during the challenge was funny. She might go really far this time.

Lauren/Scary Girl:

Her new outfit is so weird but points for trying to fit in. Her scaring Bowie early on was kinda funny but her elimination was dumb. I don't know what Chef was going to say to her but her speech felt kinda forced and her team forgetting that she's a powerhouse when focused bothers me. I get why they did but still. Plus now they're on her bad side after voting her off. I fully expect her to be living in the woods and giggling in the middle of the night just to mess with them. She could also sabotage challenges somehow and be a genuine threat for everyone on the island. It'd be great to see Chris legitimately be afraid of her and her antics, he hasn't had that reaction to someone in a while. I'm excited to see more of her!

Ripper:

He was friendly to Axel at first, didn't fart at all and knew who Axe Hachet was. Was still rude to the acting team leader but he seems to be a bit better than last season so far. Could stick around a while?

It’s such a hard tie between Littlebird and Silverflame (yeah Yellowfang’s Secret was my favorite book as a child, how could you tell)… Silverflame and Yellowkit had such a sweet relationship (well, as long as it lasted, it was sweet). And I really appreciated Littlebird and Yellowfang’s interactions, too. Their friendship was also very sweet. I still remember that one scene where (sometime after Brokenkit shows up) Littlebird is like 🥺 you saying you dont have time for your old friends? for me? 🥺🥺🥺? Plus her comforting Yellowpaw after Silverflame's sudden passing.

On a related note, went to check their wikis and was absolutely blindsided that Littlebird is ginger. I always imagined her as pure white..

For the longest time my answer to this was Amberleaf. And honestly it still is. She’s Nutwhisker’s mentor in Yellowfang’s Secret, and she’s specifically noted to be especially strict, so it’s kind of like a “damnn you got stuck with the mean teacher” moment, but then she tells Nutwhisker something like “I will make you the best warrior you can be” so it’s like Ohhh she’s not 2dimensionally mean, she probably just has her own way of showing kindness and does actually value her charges 😭

That one scene in Nighstar’s manga where him and Runningnose are travelling either to or from the Highstones, and they’re talking about how ShadowClan needs a strong leader. And the shadows of the trees cut across the orange field like tiger stripes. FORESHADOWING.

👶 : how old were you when you first touched a warriors book? howd it happen

Probaby like 7???? I don’t know the exact context leading up to this but I was at a friend’s house and somehow made contact with their Graystripe manga (specifically vol 2). They let me take it home to read, later they also did this with the 3rd Graystripe manga and Yellowfang’s Secret (eventually returned ofc). Fun fact I didn’t realize Silverstream was dead cause I didn’t know who she was aside from “Graystripe’s old girlfriend”, I vividly remember playing out a scenario of Graystripe and Millie returning to the forest and meeting Silverstream, using the three LPS I owned (one of which was actually given to me by the same friend… I still have her btw and her name is still Millie). Unfortunately quite literally 0 people at my school read Warriors (or if they did, they didn’t tell me) so I was alone in being a Warriors enjoyer </3

💢 : what scene made you the most irrationally angry upon first reading

The first thing that comes to mind honestly is Nightheart’s first couple of chapters in River, like the way the narrative bends to make him right. It was kinda infuriating. I can’t really remember anything else that made me actually upset though.

💧 : how many times have you cried over this wretched book series? any favorite memories

0 times, I have cried over media maybe thrice in my life. I don’t think I’ve really even teared up over anything happening in the books (tearing up is a little more common for me than actually crying). I don’t really feel much strong emotion tbh.

💋 : is there any ships out there you absolutely hate for genuinely no good reason at all. like its not problematic in the slightest, if anything it's one of the better ones, you just cannot bring yourself to enjoy it

Squirrelcrow… I don’t see the appeal at all. Idk that I’d call it “one of the better ones” or “unproblematic”, mostly cause it’s been literally almost a decade since I’ve read TNP so I don’t really remember much of how their dynamic was (or how it could have gone). I just super do not like Crowfeather and I can’t really see what sort of chemistry Squilf would have with him.

Bristleroot doesn’t exactly inspire rage in me but it does leave me deeply confused and a little unsettled. Like I guess it’s fine but genuinely when Bristlefrost “confessed” back to Rootspirit I thoughht she was lying to him, either for some sort of advantage re:the impostor or to spare his feelings somehow. It felt extremely forced. Sunbeam/Nightheart gives me similar feelings, maybe to a slightly lower degree because at the very least their interactions were mostly positive before Nightheart dropped everything to try and score a marriage visa out of her. Which was still pretty weird so it’s not like it’s better by much.

🐾 : have you ever named a cat after a warriors character OR given a cat a warriors styled name? if so, tell us the story

No but I gave my DOG a warrior name!! I had a mini ceremony for her and everything. I think her name was like Blackwhisker or something (Black- cause her fur was black, -whisker because I thought of her name on the spot and her whiskers were the first thing I noticed).

1️⃣ : was warriors your first animal based fantasy series? if not, what series was?

If it counts, I watched My Little Pony before I read Warriors. In terms of books I don’t really think so? Most of The Before Times is kinda blurry for me, and obviously there wasn’t anything that made as much of an impact as Warriors did.

👑 : when roleplaying (if you ever have roleplayed warrior cats), did you used to power play? be honest.

Nope, actually if anything I think I kinda underperformed… I was really socially anxious and would get so sick to my stomach even typing stuff out cause I thought somehow I would accidentally say something that would make everybody instantly hate me somehow. But on the forum I was on I needed to post at least once every 2 weeks to be considered active, and I loved it there too much to just leave. So on the RP threads, in the few times I posted, I had my character just sleep most of the time, with the idea that someone would wake her up (thus inviting me into the RP and making it okay for me to speak). This did not work out 90% of the time but that’s okay 👍

I did used to do Roblox RP on the Mandaka server though!! The thing about most Warriors RP servers at the time (especially Mandaka’s) is that there was no system determining who goes to what clan, so usually what would happen is 1 or 2 clans had like a million people and the rest had 3 or less. Not really a powerplay but I felt so fucking powerful the one time I singlehandedly restored ShadowClan from a 0 player clan (me being the first cat) to the most populated clan on the server that day. I reigned supreme as Creamstar and then Dawnstar (Creamstar’s deputy ended up having to leave for lunch or something). Considering Creamstar was murdered against the rules of the servers (wasn’t supposed to use claws, no random murders, yet was killed by a random ThunderClan patrol), I took it pretty gracefully I think. Though I did crush some kid’s dreams because they showed up acting as leader, and when I told them I was already leader they were pissed at me and told me it was their birthday so they should get to be leader. I think I just told them it was my birthday too (lie) and at some point they gave up and left. Keep in mind I was like 10 when this happened ^_^;

To be honest I don’t actually know… it’s probably not the first one I ever saw, but We All Still Die (hosted by WhiskerMoon) sticks out in my memory as being one of my early favorites.

Either Blackstar’s Too White and Nerdy by Mama Tad or Brokenstar Has Bad Blood by Urnam7. (Fun fact… I got in trouble at my elementary school after-school care program for asking the teachers to play White and Nerdy cause it was ‘offensive’/‘inappropriate’…. I was like 7 I had no clue 😭) (Better fun fact, this was how I was introduced to Creature Feature).

🖌 : when did you make your first warriors oc? (if you say you've never had OCs, i dont believe you)

Maybe sometime between 6 months to 1 year of having read the books? Her name was Marigoldstar/Marigoldpelt (named after Yellowfang’s dead sister). I was salty that the clans left the forest (as a child I was very change-averse), so in my story, after the clans vacated the forest, twolegs somehow accidentally introduced some sort of nuclear goo that mutated the flowers in one specific area (probably former-ShadowClan knowing me) to be like 12 feet tall. Either before or after the goo incident did the twolegs decide to stop demolishing the forest, clean it up, and designate it as a nature preserve or something. Cats re-inhabit the forest and set up 3 clans, one of which was FlowerClan (because they lived in the mutated flower zone). Neither of the other clans got cool mutated goo based territories :(

Marigoldstar lived in FlowerClan, she had a sister named Daisy(something, I forget the suffix). Her mate was named Blazingfire, he was basically just a trophy husband. She had 5 kids, one for every mostly-solid color of cat that I could think of. The only ones I remember are Stormeye (her gray daughter that was born missing one eye), and Wolfheart/star (black and white daughter). Her dad, Wildstar, was the leader before her, and actually the subject of my first ever fanfic (I wanted to write the prequel first before the ‘actual’ story, but the thing is nothing really happens to Wildstar aside from the fact that he’s a pushover and his mom’s ex disliked him… as did his mom’s ex’s son but then he chills out). Literally in chapter 1 of his fic, some StarClan cat tells him (when he’s a new apprentice) that some day he’ll be a dad and that’s important, only FFN had this weird glitch where if you didn’t add spaces between periods it would delete entire chunks of your text, and because I didn’t know to do this (10 years old) the chapters were nigh-incomprehensible. The fic is gone but I found an archived version of it, which I still have saved.

It’s funny cause Marigoldstar never really had a defined story either. Her sister dies in an ambush to give her angst points, and then she becomes leader. I couldn’t decide if I wanted her eyes to be blue (goes well with her golden coat) or gold (matches her gold coat). I ended up deciding that her eyes were formerly blue but then turned gold after she got her 9 lives. It’s funny cause I actually really disliked blue eyes as a child but w/e ¯_(ツ)_/¯

📝 : if commanded to, without warning, approximately how many paragraphs could you write about your favorite warrior cat before you ran out of things to say

See this is difficult for me because I couldn’t tell you who is my #1 most favorite of all time off the top of my head, but most recently I wrote like 12 paragraphs (maybe a little less?) about Bluestar (see: AMVs)

💔 : have you ever lost friends over warriors related topics?

Nope, this implies that 1. more than 3 people I knew across my entire (irl) life read warriors, and 2. that they disagreed with my opinions.

🌈 : what's the most 2010s wcforum era esque fandom opinion you still hold onto and will fight people over (things like scourges collar color, dovewings eye color, etc)

I don’t think I have any in that vein… in terms of character appearance headcanons I am a firm believer in colorpoint Hawk and Moth (and Tigerstar clone Tadpole) but 100% that is absolutely not a wcforum opinion because it contradicts canon too blatantly lmao.

🆕️ : are you still up to date / reading the new books? if not, when did you stop?

Still up to date, actually I’ve just started book 4 of A Starless Clan. I put it off for a while because for some reason I had such a hard time sitting down and reading 3 and 4 through with my very legally acquired PDFs, and it did not really help that Nightheart is a main character. (He’s marginally more bearable in book 3 but, you know, I didn’t know that).

Nope, the most involved I ever was in the fandom was on FFN forums (iykyk)

🏠 : about how much do your family know about warrior cats, if anything?

Once I spent like an hour describing the basic lore and entire events of the first series to my dad, like to the point that my throat was sore. He was actively listening and seemed happy to do so, but this was like 2 years ago so I doubt that he remembers anything about it tbh. The only thing my family really knows about warriors is that it’s about cats and I read it.

🎶 : give me a song you're surprised you haven't seen turned into a warriors pmv yet - and what character(s) you imagine it to

Ohhhh so many songs. Some of these are purely based on my own personal readings of the relevant songs + characters so it’s a bit more understandable, but ONE exception (that I’m actually hoping to make into a pmv myself) is just so obvious I’d have to make it its own post. Which I will, you’ll know it when you see it. Brief list of the songs though:

Community Gardens - The Scary Jokes ——> Mapleshade. Literally every time I hear this song all I can see in my head is Mapleshade. Opens (and closes) with her spirit taking notice of Crookedkit/Stormkit and deciding to manipulate him for her own gain. Everything in between is basically the events of Mapleshade’s Revenge; she thinks she’s safe from the eventual wrath of her clan because obviously she’s doing this for them, they need this, StarClan would never punish her or her kits because that’s just not an option in her mind. So it obviously comes as quite the shock when it really does happen (“the culmination of man’s mistakes came the day the sun ran so hot, it turned the desert to glass”), culminating in her revenge plans (“if there’s something to be learned from these losers… it’s that the price that you pay for arrogance and a false of immunity is to face the wrath of the dying star”). That line in my head applies both to Mapleshade ‘punishing’ those who did her wrong (the dying star—> cat no longer accepted into StarClan, arrogance/false sense of immunity—> the cats who tossed her aside think they don’t have to deal with the consequences of such an action), as well as StarClan’s ‘punishment’ of Mapleshade (who falsely believed that StarClan had her back). I say punishment for lack of a better word.

Cody’s Theme - AJJ ——> Lionblaze This one I get a little more why it’s not an actual AMV but god I want it to be so bad. Genuinely I don’t remember if Lionblaze being, like, unable to restrain his aggression/battle-hunger was only partially canon or fully fanon, but regardless I think this AMV would objectively fuck so hard. I had this epiphany reading this really excellent Warriors fic by Hissing Willow, their Po3 AU (link here). Wherein this song basically describes Lionpaw to a T. Several specific lines remind me of moments in the fic (“I set the mommy on fire, I set the baby on fire, not even Jesus could stop me” —> one part where he’s terrified that he’ll lose control and accidentally hurt or kill Ferncloud and her kits, despite obviously caring deeply for them; Spottedleaf in a StarClan dream, iirc, holds some mild disdain for him, though it’s possibly for [spoiler] reasons.) Anyway I think this could even work as an AMV based on the canon books. I always imagine the guitar instrumental moment (forgetting the word rn) in this song as the moment where he kills Russetfur, where he’s overcome with that aggression, and then once it actually happens he just kind of sits there in shock at what he’s done. (in the aforementioned fic there’s another moment that fits so perfectly with this but, again, spoiler for the fic… go read it right nowww)

Lullaby for the Taken - Kimya Dawson ——> Bluestar This is the one I need to make a separate post on because I have actually written out an entire, line by line analysis on how perfectly this song fits Bluestar. In fact it astounds me that this hasn’t been made so much so that I’ve been actively planning out a PMV for it. Which will take a million years but like I’ve done it before I’ll do it again. Anyway, in the 10 minutes it takes me to edit my analysis and outline for posting, go listen to Lullaby for the Taken, and then go read Bluestar’s Prophecy, and bask in how right I am about this.

I don’t really watch any specific youtubers aside from maybe Moonkitti on occasion

❎️ : what's the weirdest crossover au involving warrior cats that you've made? (if you haven't made any, then what's the weirdest one you've seen?)

I don’t know about weirdest per say but the whiplash I experienced from finally finishing Worm to finding a Warriors AU not three days later was definitelly something. My personal AUs tend to be less “what would these characters be like in a clan” and more “what would these characters’ OC’s be like”. I just know that Boruto has the most edgy BloodClan “Scourge is my dad” OC and gets kicked for powerplaying and having “unrealistic names” on various Roblox RP servers.

🗳 : if you could make any cat leader of any clan right now, who would you pick?

I haven’t gotten past the first few chapters of Thunder yet but I think - and this has to be extremely sudden, right this moment, no time skips or anything - I think it would be extremely funny for Frostpaw to suddenly become Froststar. No warrior name or anything, just straight from apprentice to leader. Word of StarClan. RiverClan collectively in their dreams all receive the same omen/order from StarClan that Frostpaw is their new leader and can she please come and get her nine lives right now, thank you. Everyone is in a panic looking for where she could have possibly gone. Everyone in the conspiracy is carefully weighing the benefits of either assassainating her again or trying to turn her into a puppet leader, and neither of these options seem very likely.

🌟 : would you hypothetically go to starclan or the dark forest?

Hmmmm. See this kind of depends. I haven’t read Squirrelflight’s Hope so I don’t really have a solid idea of how the judgement process works (like how cats are chosen, specific rules if any, etc). Before that book dropped I always kinda interpreted StarClan as being more interested in if you followed the code, if not in spirit then in wording, as opposed to morality. Maybe also the potential of redeemability. Though biases seem to get in the way of this judgement (I’ll literally never forget the retcon that the site did for Ashfur’s judgement, saying that maybe Yellowfang’s judgement was influenced by the unhealthy relationship SHE was in, having distorted her own views of what’s ‘acceptable’ in terms of love… I’m definitely stretching the quote here but I literally don’t care). Anyway since I’m not technically a clan cat I’d probably go to wherever rogues go. HOWEVER, as a child, I REALLY did not like it when cats broke the code, because bro it’s literally so easy, I would give anything to be a clan cat like you and yet you’re throwing it away… Anyway on that basis, if I was a clan cat I would probably go to StarClan for following the code.

🤔 : what's the biggest series plothole that's bugged you?

Literally everything about Nightheart, again the whole narrative bending to making him objectively correct about everything. I swear to god in TBC Sparkpelt didn’t even neglect her kits, when she was with them I’m like 90% sure she was mentioned as actively trying to be there for them while recovering from PPD, after the initial "fuuuck everything is going so wrong for me rn".

But before that, it was the timeline inconsistencies between Tallstar’s Revenge and Yellowfang’s Secret. I couldn’t tell you what they were now, since I only ever read Tallstar’s Revenge once, but being a lifelong Yellowfang’s Secret scholar I 100% noticed some timeline inconsistencies that made the order of events in each book with respect to each other very unclear. It bugged me to no end. Being biased towards Yellowfang I preferred the version of events in YS, but knowing those inconsistencies even existed bugged me so bad.

😱 : how many people have you blocked over innocuous, not at all important warriors related takes?

Oh probably at least a few, but I don’t remember any in particular. Nightcloud haters are definitely on my blocklist.

☯️ : what dynamic between two cats has got you up at night pacing for hours? (romantic, platonic, familial, etc)

As someone who paces my house nightly regardless, the most recent Warriors character I thought of while pacing was literally every relationship Bluestar has ever been in (not specifically romantic, though idk that I’d call what she had with Oakheart anything more than a fling). 🌫 : what's a cat you genuinely forgot existed until recently?

Not gonna lie, pretty much every background character in the new books… Even the ones that got their time in the limelight, like Flipclaw, really only come to me if I reach deep down in my ‘Warrior Cats Current Allegiances Bin’ located deep in my brain. Literally as I write this I just remembered Cinderheart and Lionblaze had kits. Multiple of them in fact.

why i thought michael wheeler was gay before i even knew what stranger things was about - why i decided to watch ST in the first place

ok ok ok so yes i know this sounds crazy and insane and impossoble even. i mean you have to watch a show to know if the characters are gay, right? wrong.

But how'd you even know who mike was before you watched ST?

becauuuseee honeyyyy, ur a kid on the internet, you watch videos on youtube, lots of those will unfortunately be top 10 videos cause ur like 10 or 11 or sum shit. anyways, you see clips from popular shows and medias. some of those are stranger things clips and you get half way familiar with the characters so you know who millie bobby brown is and you know what mikes face looks like.

anyways, this brings me to my next... statement? point? anyways... so yeah, i cant remember what video i was watching or anything, but a clip from stranger things comes up. i knew it was ST cause it was popular and shit n duhhhh. ANYWAYS the clip was El Dumping Mike's Ass ™ and, i cant remember if it was the clip saying it or my own gaydar going off, but i think it was my gaydar, BUT i imeditately clocked mike as gay. i was what.... 6th grade? maybe? at the most.

anyways, i watched mike getting dumped and somehow, someway, i just knew. i just imediately knew. and yknow... part of me thinks it was just the fact that back then because i hadnt watched the show, i was comepletely utterly totally unbiased. like my slate was clean. i knew nothing of anything besides that clip. maybe it is more obvious than we think....

after that i just kinda forgot about it for a couple years untilllll....

OK so then... On to my next point of disgussion.

Why did I start watching Stranger Things?

OK OK OK OK OK SO- okkayy saurrrrrrrrr basically, i have a friend. her name is tina. (thats her nickname ok dw im not like leaking personal info chill) anyways. she sat with me in art last year, and i knew from sitting with her that year and knowing her in the previous years that she was a really big fan of stranger things. sooooooo yeah i sat with her in art and i guess she knew that i hadnt watched stranger things, so like... she realllllyyyyyy wanted me to watch stranger things she was like "omg you should totally watch stranger things youd like it so much theyre coming out with a new season this summer im so excited" so i was like omggggg but yk shes always trying to make me watch shit n ykyk, whatever.

one day she convinces me or- wait no i think she forced me, and i kinda like- caved or smt. anyways, we end up watching the first episode on her phone during art class. lmao slay. so we finish the first episode and im thinking it was really good like wow but my ass probably wont watch the second episode cause im terrible at getting commited like wow

and ok- so herereeeee, here comes the kicker- the slingshot into ST. like why i actually like continued to watch.

i was still in my h<3rt stopper (censoring cause it would be annoying if this was in their tag) hyperfixation, or more like i was just getting out of my HS hyperfixation. I watched the series 3 times so i was getting a bit burnt out, so i needed something else to fan over, something else to watch. but not anything, it had to be gay. because lord KNOWS we do NOT have enough gay shit to watch. like i need it. and- im sorry- but not crappy indie films (disclaimer- indie films are NOT all crappy, theres just... some .... iykyk💀) or weird.... weird ones that make no sense and are just there for like... sex and honestly i have no fucking clue.

no i needed GAYURIJRH anyways,,,,, so i dm Tina and im like "omg tinaaaa helllpp meeee 👹 i need gay stuff to watch theres no good ones 😭" and so she gives me a list of shows with gay characters in them, and then shes like "Will from Stranger Things is gay lmao" (pre season 4 btw) so im like, in my mind, im like "Cool 😃 Mike Wheeler from Stranger Things is gay 😃" no duckiebuckie she said will- "Mike Wheelr is gay 😃" *queue past memories and preconceived notions of the past now flodding forward*

so. i waited a couple days. then i watched the first episode again this time with my little brother and like the rest of season 1 (not all at once) and i, fully, utterly, comepletely, totally, full heartedly believed that Mike was gay (i mean he is but thats not the point right now) like- i just, believed it. i just simply took it as fact. literally no one ever actually told me Mike was gay. i had just like, thought it was canon. like i actually thought it was canon. like genuinley. its so fucking funny thinking about it now because i really actually dont think i ever saw anyone or anything actually stating Mike was gay or anything, like my own seld really had made it canon. like wow. icon. again, it couldve been that one video, but i kinda like also dont. YKWWWW- I LIKE- ok so i even went to the point of like, during or after watching the first episode, imagining a little coming out scenario LATER THAT SEASON with mike telling Dustin and Lucase (cant remember if- WAIT OH MY GODDDD I JUST REMEMBERED- WILL WASNT IN THE SENARIO I WAS IMAGINING BECAUSE MIKE WAS COMING OUT TO LUCAS AND DUSTIN AS GAY AND HE LIKED WILL- YALL I REALLY HAVE BEEN A BYLER SHIPPER SINCE THE BEGINNING HUH 🥹🥹 (btw i would like to mention that this was less of a head canon and more of a "oh this is probably gonna happen like this is whats happening" kinda thing LMFAOOOOOO

and then mike kissed el and i was like what the fuck 😟

and then from the end of season 1-4 v1 and v2 i was... convinced of the opposite 😔 💔 but HEY YOU CANT BLAME ME I WAS LIKE GA BACK THEN AND LIKE MIKE AND EL KISSED N SHIT WHAT WAS I SUPPOSED TO THINK

and then the byler heart to hearts started happening and i was like- oh wait- oh honey, mikey dear your gay is showing right now. LIKE I WAS A GA WHO THOUGHT MIKE WAS STRAIGHT AND I COULD STILLLL SEEEE THE FRUITINESS LIKE HONEEYYYYYYYYYYYY FRIENDS DONT TALK TO FRIENDS LIKE THAT but i digress.

anyways. then mike said i love you blah blah blah yk like yeah hes straight but i wasnt even really thinking about the subject that much

ANYWAYS what convinced me once again that mike wheeler was gay?

well, mainly @kaypeace21 's analysis about why they think mike is not Bi, but gay, yk, the iconic one. but what started inspection in the first place when i was a steadfast "wills 100% gay but unfortunately mike is 100% straight and its unrequited and i dont ship byler because its just a lil funky and weird because mike is OBVIOUSLY straight blah blah blah i mean its cute but its dEFINITELY not real blah blah" believer? because.... of ONE fateful tiktok.

Enter Tina again. were at her house, and we decide to watch stranger things tiktok compilations and crack videos n stuff cause yk that stuff is really funny and great.

So we see this one tiktok compilation and its stranger thins ofc and the title says (very gay) and shes like, ya wanna watch this one? and im like (my ass had already seen this same complilation, but i remembered the greatness that it held) so i agree.

so previously, i had watched the video and just kinda ignored the byler stuff cause i didnt ship (although i would like to make a disclaimer that i was not a mileven shipper either. i kinda just thought they were like cute and yk oh theyre the main couple cool ig it is what it is like this is how its gonna be ig) anyways, but this time (i think we had like briefly discussed mikes sexuality earlier, and decided he was prolly definitely just straight (but discussing it in the first place is like, kinda telling lmfao)) so it was on my mind. so this time, when the byler vid came on, i payed more attention. it was a rink o mania edit. and i saw his facial expression. i saw that fucking facial expression.

so me and Tina™ paused the video, and we were like "ok... so like, I think Mike is straight... but like that facial expression he just made. but like hes definitely straight right? yeah... but that expressionnnnnnn.... but like yeah, right? yeah.. anyways...." and then we watched the rest of the video.

and then pinterest came in and it was one piece of evidence after another and then the Kaypeace post.

the rest is history.

My Point?

The whole reason I started watching Stranger Things in the first place was because I thought Mike was gay. If Mike Wheeler is not gay, I will have watched Stranger Things for nothing. yes, i stayed and kept watching even after m*l*v*n was established because stranger things is just so good, how could you not? but my point still stands. The whole reason for me even deciding to keep watching after the first episode was because i thought mike was gay. and it seems that we've come full circle now, because once again, i believe mike wheeler is gay and my enjoyment (and ST) depends on Mike being gay.

You and Bloo being in a open relationship and him not liking the fact that you flirt with other guys in a club which leads to a confession.

You adjusted your hair in the mirror as your friend handed you another shot of soju to down before you headed out. “Is Bloo going to be there tonight?’ (YF/n) asked, “I mean probably when isn’t he out” you scoffed, “I guess you two are still arguing then” your friend laughed, “when aren’t we? He has a stick up his ass about something but he won’t say what and I’m not going to force it out of him” you rolled your eyes before downing the shot, hissing at the familiar burning of your chest. “But we all know who he will be texting tonight when he is drunk” you stated matter of factly.

You and Bloo had been in an open relationship for months now, it was more of a sexual relationship within a great friendship, we both didn’t like the idea of commitment but enjoyed each others company and were literally the same person so an open relationship was the best way forward. It was beneficial and had been pretty good for both of your for the first 6 months but over the last few weeks Bloo had been getting pissed at literally everything, if you even looked at another guy he would flip his shit and not talk to you. He was the one that suggested an open relationship in the beginning so his newfound jealousy at you interacting with other men just didn’t make sense to you. Either way you were determined to have a good time tonight, work had been hell recently and you needed to let your hair down.

“Ready?” You asked your friend before picking up your bag and adjusting your silk mini dress.

The loud bass matched your heartbeat as your downed another shot with your friend egging you own. Being in a somewhat relationship with Bloo meant going out a lot so you could handle your alcohol. The familiar sight of a good friend caused your face to light up, “MILLI!!!!” You hollered wrapping your arms around his neck as he giggled saying hi, you and Wonjae went to high school together so had practically known each other forever and were basically best friends, he was the person who introduced you to Bloo in the first place in fact.

“Ive missed you cutie” Kid Milli cooed giving you a spin to admire you “I saw you last week” you laughed, you had a flirty personality and everyone knew that but you and Wonjae really pushed the boundary of flirting and everyone found it extremely entertaining to see how far you would push each other, but you both knew the limits. “Like what you see” you winked pushing your boobs together, causing his boys to laugh, “always” he replied kissing you on the cheek. “Drink?” He asked ordering bottles for the table. Little did you know Bloo was standing two tables away sending daggers your way.

Your friend had found her man of choice for the night so you enjoyed yourself with Milli and his boys who you had met before. You and Wonjae were being your typical goofy pairing and were dancing together until the familiar red hair of Nafla caught your attention meaning Bloo wouldn’t be far behind, Wonjae followed your gaze to see the pretty boy staring in your direction. “still arguing then?” He laughed sipping on his drink as you danced together, “Of course” you muttered rolling your eyes as you saw Bloo move towards you and Kid Milli, you tried to tell your heart to stop beating so fast because you were still mad at him and didn’t want to feel the usual butterflies that seeing Bloo set off in your stomach, “(y/n) can we talk” Bloo mumbled, you looked at Milli pleading with you eyes for him to get you out of this situation, him being his annoying self, sipped his drink, raising his hands “Im leaving you to it” he laughed walking away as you sent daggers into his back.

“I want to smoke can we do this outside” you suggested picking up your bag and walking away without even acknowledging his answer. You pulled out a cigarette as Bloo did the same as you entered the smoking area outside which was surprisingly empty thankful. “So what did you want to speak about?” You puffed releasing the smoke from your mouth, “I’m sorry” he huffed taking you aback, Bloo wasn’t the type to apologise so easily so you were confused. “sorry for what Bloo? You’ve been in such a shitty mood with me the last few weeks for no reason, if you don’t want to do this anymore then just tell me! We can end it hear before it ruins our friendship aswell” you exclaimed offering him an out as you really didn’t want to ruin your friendship by ending on bad terms because he really was your best friend.

“No, thats not what I want” he responded, “okay well tell me what you want! We can’t keep doing this back and fort of you being angry at me for no reason, then us not talking for a week, me forgiving you without an apology because I have a soft spot for you then us sleeping together when we are drunk! It is not healthy for us!” You were getting frustrated by his lack of explanation.

“I know, I know.. its just I get so frustrated when I see you with those guys and especially him! Like I know I have no right to be angry that is the nature of out relationship but I want you all to myself and it just gets me so angry to see their hands on you, to see you laugh at their jokes, to see you sharing drinks, FUCK!” He rambled running his hands through his head crouching down, you could tell whatever was annoying his was worse than your normal tiffs by his reaction. You put out your cigarette lowering your self to his level cupping his face in your hands brushing his hair out his face, smelling the familiar sent of whiskey and smoke that comforted you normally. “Baby whats the matter… just tell me” You reasoned seeing his red eyes caused your heart to beat uncontrollably.

“…. I want you all to my self (y/n) … I want us to be in a real relationship so no one else can even try to touch you, or make you laugh, especially Wonjae” he pouted as he said Wonjaes name which made you giggle. The thought of you being in a real relationship is something that had crossed your mind before, come to think of it you hadn’t even been out with another guy other than Bloo or Milli in more than 4 months and no other guy was even getting any of your attention… maybe you had deeper feelings than you had thought.

Bloo placed his lips on yours pulling you out of your thoughts, and for the first time your heart was beating uncontrollable as you kissed passionately, you had kissed millions of times before but this felt like so much more, “I really like you (y/n) like… like you like you” he giggled pulling away as you both stood up. “Maybe this could work” you bite your lip as he wrapped his arms around your waist. “So is that a yes?” He raised his eyebrow, “ummmmm I don’t remember you asking me a quessssssstion” you teased, he rolled his eyes, “will you be my girlfriend” he asked annoyed with your stupidity, “I guess you…..” You trailed looked down as if it wasn’t a big deal, you looked up to see his beaming smile before he kissed you once again.

“Btw … If Choi Wonjae lays a hand on you again I will ruin his pretty little face” he muttered against your lips causing you to laugh uncontrollably, “I promise baby… I’m all yours”

Episode 10 Review (The Good, The Bad, and The Possibilities)

Well, that ending was better than I anticipated. I admit, I am relieved! At the same time... there are some things that I feel could’ve been better. Still, could’ve been worse!

Last episode, with everything they were eluding to, I thought for sure this episode was gonna be the worst thing in the world. Instead, it was not the best nor the worst.

First and foremost, I am relieved Maggie and Vic are alive. All our protagonists are alive, which is extremely good! I’m sure some of you are thinking, “But Bunny! You’re a Charlie fan girl! What about him?” I’ll be honest: I don’t think he’s done. Not only would the series not really be the series without him (I mean, it’s named after his car’s license plates), his spirit, I theorize, could very easily live on. With the world of thought and imagination, couldn’t your soul live on? Plus, the symbolism with the Spirit of Ecstacy hood ornament just sitting there, untouched? Let’s not forget how the engine isn’t fully destroyed. Parts of it could probably still be used. Charlie’s gonna probably come back that way: the engine’s parts will be used for another Wraith (especially since parts for a car that rare are hard to get your hands on), his supposedly cremated body will form itself again (btw, who decided to cremate him? He has no true family left alive), and he’ll rise from the ground, back again. Even if for some reason he doesn’t come back to the show, his spirit could certainly live on. All in all, he’s not truly dead the way I see it, which is surprisingly very smart of these writers to do. Not officially kill him, but not officially keep him alive for a possible season three plot.

I’m not so sure why Wayne is still having problems. The ornaments fixed the kids entirely in the book (btw, I always still find that confusing that the older ones that should be adults would return to be humans like the others, maybe the older ones disappeared and the younger ones are okay, I’m really not sure, but I’m glad that the show addressed this to an extent and when you think about it, hopefully the kids can start new lives, although CPS can be questionable, and I hope those kids don’t end up in the wrong hands). Anyways, confusing that Wayne would still have issues. Good plot point for a possible season three, and I’m hoping there will be clarification then.

In regards to Millie: Now this really pisses me off. She says she wants to leave Christmasland, she contributed to her father’s “death”... and now she’s pissed? She wants to go back? Wtf? I’m wondering if she destroys her ornament will she disappear, I mean, she was fading away without it last episode. That was funny and badass in the ending how she just kills those two stupid teens, I had to laugh. Still, I suppose this, again, leaves plot potential for season three. Don’t exactly think they should’ve made her change her mind all of a sudden in a stupid way and make her the antagonist, that’s pretty lazy. If Charlie comes back, I’m wondering if he’ll have to talk to her and redeem himself through trying to calm her down and working things out. It was an interesting interaction with her and Wayne tho. I’m mixed with this for sure. This whole thing with her character is probably the worst part about this ending.

Still annoyed that Chris is dead, but I’m glad Vic and her mom are close. As a family, they are recovering, especially Vic, which I’m very happy with her little ending with her drawing again. This brings me joy.

I’m mad Tabitha and Maggie are officially broken up (at least how I interpreted it), but I think they could very easily have a plot for season three to get back together, so I’m not entirely mad.

I’m very interested in the hinted exploration of the other Creatives’ worlds. That ending with Maggie going into the elevator... that definitely leaves you hanging for season three! I feel bad for her that she’s still using the cigarette trick, but it is better than having her seizures.

All and all: while not the worst ending, while not the best, it was a lot better than I expected, and I am anticipating season three. I hope that they do season three right, and do not waste all this potential. They have already wasted some potential with this season, and its disappointmented me. But if they mess up next season (if they’re getting one), I will be very sad. I was thinking this episode would cause some Walking Dead-type crap, but it did not! I have hopes that season three will not cause it to have that type of downfall.

PS: Just like Negan lives, Charlie lives. 💖

PPS: Even if Charlie doesn’t live, my fanfiction will say so. It’s already pretty canon divergent as it is, so he’ll live through that ❤️🧛‍♂️🎄🌟
