So my entire weekend has been sucked away playing in the new area in Warframe, and despite my average FPS being a solid 10 most of the time, I managed to spot this bad boy painted on the walls. Needless to say, I just found a new tattoo I want.

The text roughly translates to "No God Above Knowledge" as far as I can deduce, but that last little vowel accent is tripping me up. I gotta get a closer look at the text next time I spot it.

There was a post about harddrive sizes and cloud services on my dash the other day -

By all means, laptops should and more importantly could have at least 1T of harddrive space. Instead, they come with like 256Gb because the expectation is that you A) do not have files to store because you only use it for idk streaming and B) if you have files to store, you’ll be storing them in the cloud anyway.

ANYWAY

We don’t use laptops at my work, but we use these horse shit mini pcs with a similar harddrive. They’re parent company mandated and we can’t get anything else. Our IT management doesn’t see the issues with them, and for sure, if there are only one or two people using the computer they are largely fine. Company policy says you aren’t supposed to store anything in the harddrive anyway.

However, the problem we (as in my specific workplace under parent company) have is that we can easily have ten or more - up to twenty in some cases - users using the same pc. Why is this a problem?

Our computers store a profile for every user logging in. Even if you do not save anything to your profile, it’s about 6Gb.

After OC, those profiles alone can suck up half of the hd space.

I keep thinking about L.eague, because obviously I'm doing l.eague Tar stuff right now but man—

What bothers me the most about l.eague's 250$ skins is as someone who plays S.mite. S.mite's been doing 100$ skins for fucking years and I'll happily buy the ones I enjoy and you want to know why? Unlike R.iot, they actually put fucking effort into them. It feels like I'm buying 3 different skins. Also! They go on sale frequently so they're usually only 60$ and you wanna know what? You get every other skin that has been and will be released that year for that o.dyssey event so really you're spending 100$ on 20+ skins with a bonus extremely high quality one.

This is I.zanami and you can't even tell, because unlike L.eague, S.mites not afraid to destroy a character silhouette and make them look completely different.

I.zanami for refernece. And again it is a fraction of the cost of L.eague's shitty 250$ skins that won't do anything new, one of them is literally just S.ett, but he's blonde.

No, the person does not come off the wolf and just like with every S.mite skin he has a completely different voice pack and a different one for each rider too. And it also came with chromas that you got for free.

Is it a skin that looks janky as fuck with how Fenrir's model is? Oh absolutely. Does anyone care? No, because it's a skin that changes so much it is absolutely fucking worth it's price.

My copium i that I hope S.mite 2 releases fully and people actually give it a chance and find out S.mite is actually really fucking fun and has a wonderful art team and skin team even if there's no real lore and they stop giving T.encent / R.iot their time and money. I know it won't happen, but man.... I can dream.

Edit: Oh yeah I forgot to mention not only does every skin get completely new voice lines for each form, each form looks completely different, the gods don't even have to look the same, you get multiple skins every time, they normally are typically on sale, completely different effects for the abilities depending on the form, they have new animations and a new emote, but their splash art also moves in the loading screen. They are absolutely worth the 60-100$ price tag you are paying especially the old ones that would level up throughout the game.
