Just Like Her Pet Character, Vivizepop Doesn't Keep Her Promises And Still Expects People To be Patient With Her

Don't keep promises you can't keep or people won't expect anything but disappointment you once again let them down. Seriously, "Seeing Stars" could be a representation of everything about Vivziepop's promises to her fandom and how they expect her to keep her end and have a message hammered they just have to be patient and she's doing her best. However, it becomes more evident like with Stolas she is doing jack crap and has excuses after excuses for why she's telling us one thing and ends up doing another. She ends up being unreliable like Stolas is to Geotia despite telling her he loves him and puts her off so much because of his stupid crush.

One thing I think people tend to forget is that, due to how short the episodes are and how few there have been despite the large time frame that's been covered so far, we know very little about the lives of any of the characters. Including Blitz, who is the main character. We've only seen a handful of interactions between Stolas and Blitz and even fewer solo scenes regarding how they feel about their relationship, and they're all important because they set up future plot points, but they're not in depth and thus are functionally taken out of context. We can only speculate about stuff like some of the memory fragments in All 2 U or the exact content of the many phone calls between Blitz and Stolas, using deductive reasoning to figure out what makes the most sense given the clues we have.

There's so much that the writers are forced to only drop hints and subtext about, because they simply do not have the time to explore things more if they don't want to drag the show out forever, so people who don't pay close enough attention or who don't want to acknowledge the romantic feelings between Blitz and Stolas end up saying that things went too fast. It's like, guys, you know they've been interacting for over 20 months, right? Surely you can't think the few minutes of them we've seen on screen is indicative of their entire relationship, right??? It only seems fast now because it was really important to show the rapid paradigm shift that happened as a result of the crystal exchange.

And while we're at it, this is what bothers me so much when people say Stolas probably doesn't know Moxxie and Millie's names. Stolas has, by Blitz's own admission in Oops, been interacting with him on social media and calling Blitz on the regular to ask about his day for about a year and a half, if we don't count the months where they didn't talk after Ozzie's. And note that even though this is part of his rant about how Stolas is only using him for sex, Blitz doesn't mention phone sex, he only says that Stolas calls to ask about his day - meaning that they must actually end up talking about what Blitz has been up to fairly often. When put into that context, do you honestly think that Blitz has somehow never once mentioned Moxxie and Millie by name?

Moxxie, Millie, and especially Loona are very important to Blitz and Stolas would undoubtedly remember their names for that reason alone, but they're also a huge part of his everyday life so they're gonna come up in conversation pretty often, both on social media and anytime Blitz indulged Stolas and talked about his day. Blitz has probably ranted about something Moxxie did fairly often during his phone calls with Stolas, and where Moxxie is mentioned so too will Millie inevitably be brought up. And you know Blitz wouldn't miss an opportunity to gush about how perfect and amazing Loona is. All of which we can infer due to the fact that Blitz does all of those things many times in a variety of settings over the course of the series.

The assumption that he doesn't know their names is ultimately based solely on the belief that, because Stolas has certain unconscious racial and class biases, he must not care about any imp other than Blitz, to the point where he'd have had to intentionally ignore and forget every mention of their names to not know them by this point. Stolas has a lot of shit he needs to unlearn and has said/done a number of harmful, demeaning things to imps (including to Moxxie and Millie in Loo Loo Land), but this is not one of them.

Father Michaelis led the demon down a long and narrow passage hidden behind a large tapestry hung on the wall. The childlike imp smug, thinking it had enticed another victim.

They descended the staircases, step by step, just as Dante entered the mouth of Hell - ‘Abandon all hope, ye who enter here.’; or perhaps, a perverse version of Orpheus and Eurydice with how two shadows reflected by the candle light, but only one’s footsteps could be heard. And instead of emerging from the underworld, they only spiraled down, down, and further downward. Father Michaelis didn’t turn back to look at the creature once. He felt the thing’s wicked presence well enough over his shoulder. What a same a pretty face like that strayed outside of God’s realm. But no worries, he could be repented. Sebastian would make sure of it.

Soon, they arrived at an unused crypt beneath the holy ground; the walls of which were covered in Enochian runes and Solomonic keys…

In the end, when the villagers found out a demonic being is being kept underneath the holy church; they stomped the ground with their pitchfork and angry chants, and set the place aflame. The imp, bound by ancient spells and weakened by its broken wings, had resigned to its fate. The crypt is maze-like with its many obscure paths leading to secret entrances all over the town; but nailed as he was to the wall and the keys thrown away, there was no escape. And yet, its captor, its abuser, the once devout man of God, remains by its side. He used his own body to futilely shield Ciel from the blunt of the heat.

“Are you stupid, mortal? You can still run away. By what reason do you remain?”

“Didn’t I said I would never abandon you? Lying is against the teachings of God.”

Ciel laughed instead of pointing out the obvious hypocrisy of it all. Its captor, its abuser, and perhaps, the only man that had ever truly loved the creature in its entire sorry existence; even if it was in the man’s own horrible, twisted way.

“Very well then,” said the imp, “we shall burn together.”

It fisted slender fingers onto the priest’s black robe and pulled him down; the cross scorched one last time over where its heart should be. They share their first tender kiss as the Church collapsed over their head.

Goetia Sebastian and Imp Ciel

Okay, so I have thought about Ciel and Sebastian in the Hellaverse before. Like, it would suck for Sebastian if he was a hellborn, and Ciel was a sinner. That or if he was a goetic demon and Sebastian was a hellborn. However, I also thought about Sebastian being part of the Ars Goetia. I don't know what he would be, nor do I remember if he's a raven or a crow, but I drew him as a bird boy.

Originally, I was just going to just draw Sebastian, but I thought it would be a good and funny idea to add Ciel as an imp.

Hellaverse lore:

For those who don't know, imps are the lowest on the hierarchy with Hellhounds in the Hellaverse, and the Ars Goetia are just underneath Lucifer's family and the Seven Deadly Sins, serving as Hell's royalty with their own duties. Imps are meant to be obedient and servile with their jobs, including manual labor, servants, or even seen as pets, but there are rare exceptions.

So yeah, I reversed the roles and made Ciel Sebastian's pet imp. I might color them later, and I'll share the references in the reblog. I want to hear y'all opinion.

VII. ON THE STAFF AT THE PALACE

there are around 50 staff working at the palace at any given time. stolas employs a variety of hellborn, between imps, hellhounds and succubi (though the majority of his staff is indeed made up of imps.)

1 butler in charge of 10 footmen, who also serves as a valet, ie. he will greet & announce guests, and personally look after the lord of the house, including dressing and preening him - he is basically trained to anticipate and meet stolas' every need. formerly mr butler ( @mrbutlers ), currently pringles impington, a tiny, discreet and hard working imp who came highly recommended by mr butler. when stolas' was a youth, the butler was also in charge of the young prince's ars goetia education and upbringing, so he had a more prominent role in the household - he acted as a steward and father figure of sorts in paimon's place.

1 ladies' maid in charge of waiting on stella and octavia.

1 housekeeper, in charge of running the household and overseeing 15 maids.

1 head chef, 2 assistant cooks / apprentices and 3 kitchen waitstaff. temporary waitstaff and security will be hired for grand catered parties.

1 nanny, while octavia was a chick

1 chauffer for stella and octavia - stolas usually travels by portal.

1 carefully selected gardener, expert in caring for exotic plants. though stolas does most of the work when it comes to the plants in the house and greenhouse, the gardener will look after maintaining the wider grounds of the estate.

1 archivist, entrusted with his vast collection of literature and magical artefacts; they will not have access to the grimoire or other out of bounds, powerful literature and artefacts - those are kept under lock and key in stolas' private quarters.

1 steward / custodian - verse dependent but currently @keeperofquestions and @dark-ambition, entrusted with the smooth running of the household accounts, checking staff, legions and supplies (household and military), managing the estate and other ad hoc tasks. acts as a sort of advisor and has in depth knowledge of the ars goetia politics.

4 hellhound bodyguards, in charge of personal security. his palace and estate are protected by magical warding glyphs.

stolas doesn't personally select all of his staff, but he entrusts that task to the butler, steward, housekeeper and head chef; however he will be directly involved in selecting the four of them, plus the nanny, gardener and archivist - the main positions of trust at the palace.

being employed in an ars goetia household can be very daunting and extremely nerve-racking hard work, depending on the family, but it is also known to be exceptionally well paid, and comes with a hefty dose of prestige.

NOTE: there are other general ars goetia staff positions, like tailor ( @aroyaltailor) painter etc. those are not necessarily employed by stolas but he will visit them and employ their services when needed.

Newsflash: using anti rhetoric against a piece of fiction still makes you an anti! even if the creator is a terrible person!

I am absolutely in support of criticizing Vivziepop for the things she's done to REAL people, but I will NEVER support weaponizing anti rhetoric against the show itself, because again, that makes you an anti.

How are you going to acknowledge that fiction is okay when it comes to the "serious" stuff like lolicon, shotacon, cub, feral, etc. and then cry in outrage when, for example, Viv says she found the part where Loona kicks the baby to be funny?

Feathers RUFFLE and Stolas only barely manages to repress a shiver. When Andrealphus touches his head to Stolas' own, bright eyes close before narrowing with frustration. Soft, agitated chittering leaves him before the prince heaves a reluctant sigh. AFFECTIONS weakened him, even if they came from the frigid snow-cone peacock that taunted him now. ❝ What is this — are you plotting to peck my eyes out after cozying up to me? Is that it, Andrealphus? ❞
