Imagine if you look inside your bowl because for some suspicious reason, the spoonful's aren't even full. They're just tiny portions. And the bowl is like, 80% empty because your stupid boyfriend ate everything.

It's a disaster, but it's out of love.

Conclusion: it was okay. There were parts I genuinely liked. There are things that also bug me to no end. The soundtrack from the original series would’ve fit way better and a lot of times it sounded like an off brand marvel track. Acting and cgi was a lot better (at times.) An improvement on the first one, and a semi-worthwhile watch if you have nothing else to do and you like fma. Cannot and will never be a substitute for the original obviously. Seems like less of a cash grab and more of a genuine effort this time which I appreciate. Overall? 6.5/10

what if i cried. man this song is so fucking SAD. and also not in a way. would work fantastic if one wanted to do a really lonesome depressing take on Otterslip's exile. im picturing an animatic with very few pov changes, just Otterslip maybe watching the stars or traveling through the outside of Fallenclan's territory, up until "you'll live forever tonight" and the piano afterwards, then i'm seeing lots of glimpses of his past life in Fallenclan, and the events leading up to Stormsight's death. ougghh

conclusion! these are all fantastic song choices and you are a fucking genius. i'm almost temped to something with Toba the Tura myself, except i know I'd never finish it lmao. and as a side note, if you've never heard the Chonny Jash covers of a lot of Miracle Musical songs i would highly recommend. they aren't for everyone but personally I like them better than some of the originals, even.

6. Favourite ships; like i mentioned on your post, for me it really fluctuates what ship is in the front of my mind on any given day. Ofc, hiccstrid is a big one (theyre really good to me personally) and I'm currently also in a big snotstrid mood bc of my friend @spacenintendogs 's dragons off the coast au! (Also p l e a s e if you aren't familiar yet with dragons off the coast im begging you to look into it, its such an interesting take on a modern au and Rose's writing and worldbuilding is absolutely phenomonal). Fishlout also takes up a space in my heart, adore them so much! The dynamic is so good.

Ruffnut and her army of men is also so good, and the dynamics she has with Eret, Fishlegs and Snotlout is really fun and has a lot of potential. Tho i do also think she and Heather have potential. As do Eret and Heather! That whole group can just be mixed and matched together haha. Heather and Fishlegs ofc is also wholesome, they deserved more than this!

Due to me being so involved in the oc side of the fandom and being a really big supporter of everything oc (which is common knowledge after 4 years of this haha), I also love a lot of people's ocxcanon ships! Such as Rose's oc Ermintrude and Snotlout, @nosuda-cringe 's oc Mayeth Vang and Snotlout, and ofc the ships you've hinted and teased in otwd (zephbal save me... save me zephbal. I think about them a. Normal amount. Same with castav but i wouldnt let them save me, they need to save themselves first), plus a lot of others. Theyre all very dear to me <333

10: favourite songs from the soundtrack; OKAY so ive actually got history with this! When i was about 13-16-ish i had music classes as part of my middle school experience (lmao) and we were given the freedom to do any project we wanted. In those 2-3 years i used the httyd soundtrack twice for projects!

First I used Forbidden Friendship (that song man. That song) as like. An underbeat or smt? To add things on. Im sure it sounded horrendous and y'know the other kids in my class laughed at me bc of me using an animated movie's soundtrack, but the song did remain a favourite of mine and still is.

The second time I used the soundtrack was just after the third movie released! We were once again granted freedom and I decided to learn Once There Were Dragons on the piano! (Im not certain i still know it LMAO its been 5 years, this was even before I learned about OTWD which is in hindsight pretty funny)

Ofc once again the kids around me weren't amused and I couldn't play piano to save my life (my hands are too small to reach the octaves needed which. Sucked haha) but i had a lot of fun and the song really stayed with me throughout the years, it always brings me at least some sort of emotion <3

11; favourite locations; OH gotta be Old Berk and Dragon Island. We spend so much time in Old Berk during the shows and the movies and the form of the island is just so... memorable, in a way. In school of dragons, i always loved climbing the Great Hall up to Gothi's little hut haha. Miss that silly little island.

Dragon Island is soooo underused but i adore the implications sm! Like, the Red Death's corpse is there (and we all know how much i love environment changing giants) and we haven't really seen it since RoB/DoB. Underused location in my humble opinion.

Honorable mentions to Berserker Island and the weird treasure island from rtte season 1. They really slayed haha

14; favourite animation style; everyone knows i'm a big hand animation girlie so I have to go for those little moments in the franchise where more 2D animation is implemented (like in Fishlegs' leadership dream and the Boneknapper special). The keyframing and the subtle movements are really worth analysing and i absolutely adore how it's used. A real treat for us animators! (Special mention to the animation that's been going around from the live special, so good)

As for 3d styles, I have to say the first movie. It has a very raw edge which i love and it gives everything a great feeling. Plus, the animation error during forbidden friendship they left in the final cut owns me <333

ok so reggie's mom died when he was 10-ish. she got really sick really fast and it was kinda hard for him to lose her that young. i don't think he fully understood what was going on and they were really close so yk. that's rough buddy. she taught him piano and he quit after she died and never picked it up again. and i think it kind of fucked up his view of death and gave him an existential crisis. maybe that's the root of his whole live life to the fullest no matter what mentality ykw i mean?

reggie's dad took his wife's death really hard and became kind of withdrawn in the aftermath. he wasn't like. neglectful and i don't think he was a horrible dad or anything. he was trying his best but really struggling with his mental health and that's part of the reason why reggie's such an attention seeker to the point of it being a little unhealthy now. it doesn't help that the treatment for the illness was really expensive either. i think reggie tried to repair his relationship with his dad later on but yk. there was already damage done. they're still not that close

also this wasn't part of the question but im including it anyway because reggie's older brother is basically like his third parent atp. i havent fully fleshed him out but he's like. a type a personality guy i imagine he has some big corporate job as a ceo or finance analyst or something. he doesn't fully approve of reggie's whole influencer job and thinks he could be using his talents for something better but respects his hustle and work ethic. he really does love his brother. i think his support is a big reason why reggie can be so laidback even now, he's a real dependable guy and unlike reggie isn't afraid to take on responsibility. hold on im gonna name him how about uhhhhhhh devon. idk. ill workshop it im not fully feeling devon we'll see. suggest smth in the notes or the inbox or smth. ok this answer is already way too long so im not gonna answer the other questions here LMAO

if i had to choose, probably marigolds or Baxes. their powers before its development in their books was just so... terrifying. sticks and stones has always been my favorite book in the series because of the questions it asks. what would happen if marigold shrunk a person? yes her victim did get back to normal size but what if their body couldn't ingest the drugs given, what if like, said person was someone like bax who couldn't turn back to normal after transforming. would he just spend his days being a boulder forever, while marigold has to live with the guilt and shame that action has caused to both the families and their friends? on the topic of bax,he can now turn into things like pianos or chairs and have some level of control over them, what happens if he gets strong enough to turn into things like statues, buildings? towns, planets even? we also have seen the drugs Bax uses (bretel bax was the name i think?) to its maximum extent. what if that drug was in usage after bax learned things like chairs or pianos? would tge whole place just turn into chair land or smth? and how can we predict the new drug wont have the same if not worse effects? ughhhh THESE BOOKS MAKE ME CRAZY-

the question of "how would that effect me" is a pretty interesting one because i actually relate to marigold alot. having something "wrong" within you thats unlike anything else both you or those around you have seen is such a MOOD, and i admire the writing team for writing a character like mari. if i had marigolds power, i honestly dont think id be any different then how i am now? just with the added benefit of yknow, shrinking everything and everyone around me till i am the most distrusted person in the world and everyone is afraid of me lmao-

But our old host was getting into MCR at the time, and shi finally sat down and listened to The Black Parade in whole and found this song, and... So much shit clicked into place for hir and for us collectively.

Shi played this song on repeat for DAYS, dude. Non fucking stop. It was one of the few things that really helped keep everything at bay. I remember shi didn't actually have the entirety of The Black Parade on our ipod yet so shi used a shitty lil "infinite loop" site shi found somewhere to play it at night cuz back then YouTube didn't HAVE a way to loop videos easily HFNDSNFN So that's how we slept for like... A week? I don't remember, I think all this was a couple years before I formed, actually!

But. Yeah. This one's Up There in importance for us. Our favourite lyrics are "the hardest part, is letting go of your dreams" / "the hardest part's the awful things that I've seen". Really rang true back then tbh.

EGADS DND SESSION!! uhm session 6. (i think its session 6 I’m not entirely sure lmao) Fun fact we have two new party members/characters which are Leopol, a cyclops bard who specialises in opera singing, and Bruce, an elf bard who specialises in contemporary piano andhskjs RANT BEGINS!!

Basically we decided that Bruce was a member of the party from the start of the story but just was visiting family and Leopol hid in the van since she’s forgotten her memories and heard the band! Session 6 was basically the rest of the party asking her what she was doing in the van and making a deal that if she can sing/play an instrument she can stay with the band!

Then she tried to kill Gerard (the horse that sings emo music and pulls the caravan/carriage) since she thought he was useless but then he kicked her into a fence infront of Strahd’s castle. And then she got tied up and interrogated by mainly Sasha (pop musician lmao) who slapped her in the face and yelled at her (let it be known that the friend who plays sasha has done acting for like his entire childhood so he put on a show/gen) (also when that happened, Eddie turned to Polly and was like ‘listen I’m not saying I’d like to be in that position however-‘ and Polly stood there in shock and horror) and then the two fought- the girls are fightinggg- while Strahd himself stood there like ‘huh ok sure’ and the session ended with us being in Strahd’s castle and him explaining the party we’re supposed to play at! Also polly fucked up giving a handshake to Strahd since Strahd wiped his hand after it and Polly copied him and then got death stared ajdhsj

infodump now, but, yasha also mainly does vocals and guitar stuff and harp and some drums, and is learning some of th tech stuff (theyre all figuring out recording stuff as they go lol) . .jester knows more tech things, plays piano/keyboard and percussion stuff, also both her and cad do some wonky backing vocals sometimes. cad plays bass (gender reasons, and it just feels correct) and some other random things, like he can play his family’s traditional string instruments n stuff. also keyboard a bit bc her hands are big and can reach good. also woodwind-y flute type of things.. perhaps even some handmade. also the bone-flute screaming has definitely been sampled and used in songs lmao . .a lot of the time they move around while recording, trying to play different things at th same time and make th sound effects or time th samples correctly. so like, theres definitely walking noises and sniffs and things captured in recordings. o. . .samples of thunder and birdsong n things would be nice too :'-3 thats a good idea

his sister is hannaxbe and he’s the only one he loves under that roof, would fight lions for her

grew up to be a reckless and impulsive child. his parents can’t be assed to figure out how to parent so they’d often drop him off at their family friend’s orphanage because they thought he would learn something from being around other children

ended up loving being there more than he does at home. would go along with them to charity performances, would grow up loving to perform for the children, that’s where he fell in love with music as a whole really

parents are still terrible politicians, they’d try to hone his skills so he’d look like the perfect child but he refuses to join any of their corrupt companies and kept up with charity performances (which they let him because it ‘makes the family look good’ but that pisses him off too)

currently a criminal justice major even tho his parents want him to be a politician too

became an underground producer called PROD. J! would have loved collabing with people and even being a ghost writer for anyone tbh. tho the latter he would be picky about

is also a vtuber on youtube! has a separate channel for that. sometimes he uploads song covers too, but it’s mostly a gaming channel. there’s a specific date where he uploads song covers tho
