im curious about how at the live event they said pit babe will air before itmbc, but itmbc has been filming for much longer. do you think thats a set decision because there is more anticipation for pb or is there a chance we will see itmbc first

I think it’s a set decision since Change said back in May that ITMBC would take another year of production, and originally they were making it sound like we would get PB sooner than we have. I do wonder if there were delays due to writing (or my mortal nemesis taking five months to film), but regardless I think the plan was always to have Pit Babe air before ITMBC. Nut was also saying months back that he would be working on both at the same time, so I think the overlap in filming schedule was always the plan.

I also think there’s a lot of anticipation for both, but the anticipation for PB comes from within Change’s existing fanbase, which a vocal and money-spending part of the fandom is growing loudly impatient about it (even tho… 15 months between seasons is far from unheard of but like I get it I’m also dying) and delaying it any further would probably cause a lot of them to blow a fuse. Even tho I’m pretty sure GMMTV has shows that had pilots drop in 2023 that still haven’t aired so 🤷‍♂️

On the other hand, I feel like a lot of the expectation for ITMBC comes from the webtoon fanbase which seemed to be pretty harsh on a lot of the pilot. So Change having a long production schedule for ITMBC is not surprising, since it’s something they need to handle carefully. I do feel like, if they execute it well, it could be as big a hit as Pit Babe s1, but I expect them to take their time with it, so if they tried to release it before Pit Babe and the webtoon fandom hated the series, Change would have two angry groups to deal with.

I’m also really curious how scheduling works with period pieces since they’re limited to studio sets + nature (which has its own schedule) and temples I suppose, and they can’t just book a street or hotel lobby to film at on days when the studios are full. But I don’t track period lakorns so I have zero idea what the level of demand is, but it’s something I’ve wondered about in regards to the length of ITMBC’s shoot.

Tbh what really surprises me the most about Time taking up so much room on the schedule is that PoohPavel will have gone over a year with absolutely nothing drama-wise? Like Ping, Pop, Lee, Michael, Garfield, Benz, and Topten have all at least had Club Fridays since Pit Babe ended, not to mention the Long Beans gang. So I’m not surprised there’s a lot of frustration with PoohPavel fans but I still blame Time over fanmeets and concerts and such. Like at least PoohPavel had work while they were waiting to film but it does suck they haven’t been able to do any acting since s1 wrapped in Nov 2023? I’m sure twitter fans would find something else to be mad about even if it weren’t the case tho.

Anyways these are just my thoughts thank you for always indulging my fascination with Change’s filming schedule
