i really like the theory for the next ghost album that is us seeing the return of papa emeritus ii who's cardi's secret twin. he's reanimated and back to redeem himself. definitely because they focused on his face in the stained glass while sister imperator is telling cardi "everything that has a beginning, has an ending". plus there was someone else on here saying something about one of the candles in cardi's room being a saint that could resurrect, or something like that, which is fun.

i also think that the end credits of rhrn were a clue to the themes. it'll be about war, atrocities, evil, death, fascism, annihilation, etc. it'll have even more of a sinister sound- my partner thinks it will have a more 60's goes modern metal vibe. they have the range!

Nearly gave up on this many times but I have to spread propaganda for my headcanon... I’m convinced that K1-B0’s weaknesses were the inspiration for Miu’s murder plot — that he can be paralyzed with his emergency stop button (from Ch.1 FTE) or presumably with an Electrohammer (keyword “hammer”). Paralyzing Kokichi to make the murder only somewhat easier always seemed convoluted to me, but it makes sense she’d take that step for granted if the whole plan was formed around it in the first place.

My point being: Miu certainly realized she could’ve killed K1-B0 whenever she felt like it, especially knowing that he would have to die either way... But instead she spent countless hours literally rewriting the laws of reality just to give his Achilles’ heel to someone else.

the way they've been in so many of their music videos - I'm not okay, teenagers, blood - and photo shoots and represented things like the American dream and the 'popular' crowd and blind conformity and youth and a certain (male gaze-y) kind of femininity

the way you can turn on kerrang and be very likely to see a band of similar genre also using cheerleaders in their music videos but it being 70% up-skirt shots or love interests whereas mcr have never done that

the way mcr never made the cheerleaders or any female characters in their mv's a 'safe' or 'attractive' kind of weird but instead straight up weird allowing them to dance strangely and wear gas masks and be covered in blood and be rejected by getting poked in the eye or even completely ignored actively tarnishing the cheerleader persona

the way gerard way has now dressed up as one, siding with the cheerleaders after being separate from them for so long

as if the cheerleader is no longer just that but also the girl within the uniform, done being used as a symbol of the American dream and the 'popular' crowd and blind conformity and sexualised femininity unwillingly
