Ok WOW!!!! Not gonna lie to you I'm SHOKED!!!

I thought he's gonna be a casanova in this reading but surprisingly im getting none of that, quite the contrary actually.

But lets start from the beginning, so his overall reputation in a few words is social and friendly, hardworking and unexpectedly stern/cold.

He has a very approachable personality, very social, fun and open towards people whenever the moods right for it. I think people view him as someone to easily "get close to" or at least interact with.

But at the same time when it comes to work he doesn't come to play and i believe (not among idols but rather just within the industry) word is, he is difficult to work with.

Not because of bad work ethic or anything - quite the opposite - he's very meticulous, perfectionistic and likes things being done his way. If not, he's not affraid to argue, to stand his point, if you're slacking he's not affraid to call you out and even if he's in his right to do that, i believe people find, he might go overboard sometimes in his obsession in work.

People that already know him see him as a workaholic and extremely focused in his work so that even if he's easy to approach - he's not easy to be close to, as a friend, cuz he's always away working. Thats his absolute first priority.

If someone knows him outside of work, and then get to experience him in a working environment I think they get really really shocked, because they experience a completely different side if him where all of his goofiness and friendliness goes out the door and he gets this scary stern look in his eyes and his whole aura changes, even if he's still polite - his energy and vibe is just totally different.

As for his reputation with the ladies (idols/industry) its not as different. This sternness is there for sure and everyone can attest to that in one way or another.

I believe he's quite popular with the girlies, he's quite liked and many have interest in him romantically or sexually.

But just as many get met with rejection. Thats the part that really shocked me. But i actually believe he doesn't go around sleeping with idols. If he does (which i believe he does🌝😂) he does that with commoners, fans etc.

I think his main reputation among female idols is "keep away from him, you'll get hurt" but thankfully for a whole different reason than i (we) thought. First of all, I don't think anyone refuses to admit Glenn is anything but perfect, and I also don't think anyone excuses his "shitty behaviour," but while you only may have just become aware of this moment, it was first brought to light in 2017, right before Glenn left the show "for good" and has kinda been hashed to death. If you're genuinely asking 'why is no one talking about Glenn's temper tantrums from 8+ years ago,' idk how to answer that question other than: why would we be? It's just not relevant

We know, from set stories and Glenn himself, that Glenn has gone through many ups and downs on the set of Sunny. He's spoken quite a bit about how his attitude has ruined the vibe and created a lot of tension in the writers room and on set before, and it's something he needed Rob to bring to his attention in Season 11 because he couldn't recognise it harmed other people (and that's what led him to realise he needed to walk away). I think it's not, like, a hidden or dismissed aspect of his personality that he's a diva, even today after righting his attitude and returning, he still tends to "method act" to a degree when he's playing Dennis and comes off a certain way

So yes, he's been "exposed" as a brat on set and a little entitled in general, and he's got some questionable views on health, for sure and I think that can make you dislike him and if that's so...that's fine. I don't think anyone in this fandom cares if you do or don't, honestly, but that works both ways.

People who post about Glenn in fond ways aren't going to disclose that they know he's entitled and centrist every time they post anything about him, but whenever something does happen/come out, people do criticise it in the moment. The Podcast brought a lot to light and it seemed like weekly we were scrutinizing something RCG said but, like, there's genuinely nothing Glenn has done in the past year that the fandom has chosen to ignore for the sake of excusing his shitty behaviour...? Are we supposed to rehash dead and buried RCG drama just because it was reposted to a different platform?

I get if you're just learning about him as a person now it can be weird to see most people who are actively talking about him seem to just be stanning him blindly, but that's really not true. Ok, absolutely unnecessary, but here are my feelings on the gaiman situation.

I dont think there is any reason to not believe the two victims. Their stories are corroborated by Text messages and partly by gaiman himself.

However. A lot of ppl seem to have taken in a very reductive summary of events when they come away from this with "gaiman is a serial rapist deliberately preying on young women and abusing them". The relationships were confirmed as consensual by all parties, the Podcast seems to be staunchly anti bdsm, in their opinion all bdsm relationships are abusive and they drive this point home very hard. Theres clearly an Agenda and they tried to find other partners to corroborate their Story of "gaiman is a bdsm sex pest" but couldnt find anyone else who supported that view.

2nd however. Just bc the Podcast is obviously biased and working unsoundly, doesnt erase the fact that gaiman had relationships with 2 (that we know of) women significantly younger, obviously unstable and with a severe imbalance of Power (one was a fan who was clearly obsessed with him and the other was employed by him) and that he acted skeevily and was pushing, if not crossing, the limits of consent with these women. Also the fact that he tried to guilt trip one of them by saying he was thinking of suicide bc she was gonna "me too" him (what a disgusting way to phrase this??).

All this adds on to other red flags concerning gaiman, so its safe to say supporting him as a person isnt a good idea.

BUT it also once again has shown how unreflected and impulsive a lot of ppl on here are. Ppl were shouting "believe the victims!!!" At ppl asking questions about the situation, without even having checked in on the story themselves. "Believe the victims" doesnt mean "believe reductive tumblr posts made by ppl who didnt read past the headline". You still have to seek out additional info before jumping into crusade mode, and i dont get how thats a controversial thing to say???

Also: ive seen multiple people ridicule the notion that this has something to do with terf politics or the current election in the uk and im honestly not sure if these ppl were living under a rock, bc thats DEFINITELY a thing that has happened before. Deliberate exposes and "character assassinations" against ppl/celebs who have a different stance on politics, lgbt issues etc happens all the time in boulevard press or reactionary spaces, wtf are you talking about????

The makers of the Podcast WERE out to get gaiman, but that doesnt change the fact that there was indeed something "to get".

As much as i am glad that people have been talking about transandrophobia and how its a real thing, i don't love how a lot of these conversation seem to be saying "trans men are viewed and socialized as female* so they deal with misogyny too, but in a different way that intersects with them being trans" and not "trans men deal with complex gender-based discrimination that is unique to them".

These things affect trans men in a unique way and aren't tied to misogyny, and the people who are quick to tie our oppression to "being viewed as women" often sound transphobic. What is your obsession with finding a way we are like women?

Obviously im not saying that tras men cant have to deal with misogyny. But its not the only fucking thing we deal with and it sure as hell isnt what transandrobia is.

So is the fucking female socialisation thing. Though gendered socialisation is a thing, it doesn't work the way people seem to thing it works. Trans and gnc ppl are socialised in a different way than gc cis ppl, usually with violence towards our perceived non-comformity, and trans people will often internalise the gender we were taught to be differently to cis ppl (if at all. In my experience i was far more impacted by how i was told boys acted (eg boys dont cry, men work to support their wife and kids, men are only supposed to feel anger) than how i was taught that i, "as a girl" should act).

if you feel like like life is leading nowhere n you feel like giving up I PROMISE it will get better bc i felt the same for two whole years n i will say that i have improved a LOT since . yes , it took me longer than i expected but i didn't give up and you shouldn't either ! it was hard n there were times i felt like i wasn't making any progress / improvement but in the end , it still got better

i think the first step to loving yourself is to forgive yourself .. its okay to try over n over again , you're still human n i think ppl tend to forget that often bc they're so tough on theirselves . let's not forget that your body is actively trying it's best to keep u alive , your WBCs for example ! (let's appreciate these little guys for trying their best 🎉🎉) your body too , deserves to be loved back , for fighting so hard just for YOU! so pls don't hurt yourself in any way </3

yes , a lot of days could end up being the exact same because like , there are 365 days in a year so you can except most of them to be similar .. but as a new year starts , ofc many things change without you even noticing it , you grow older ofcourse , and you could be starting a new year in school , you meet new people and so on ! if you compare your life from a year ago or even a few months ago to now , you'll surely notice a few differences atleast so .. life is not reaaaaally the same right .... everyday is a new experience ! literally anything and i mean anything could happen the next day , you could even win the lottery who knows 🤫

when i felt like everyday was the same , i tried changing my patterns .. (my current favourite thing to do is go on a walk ! sometimes i take my dog w me , it's super fun) i would do small things that i dont usually do like sketch ! or i attempt cooking something new .. but obviously there were a LOT of days where i did nothing , sometimes even weeks , and that's okay ! we all deserve days where we do nothing ESPECIALLY if you're someone who is working or js in school / college everyday .. you deserve that break

i think a big factor is being unproductive ? don't get me wrong , i still am my same unproductive self at times unfortunately , n sometimes they do get so bad that they lead to a terrible burnout .. n i went through a rly bad burnout not long ago n trust me you do not want to get this far :( how do i deal with this ? (let's take studying as an example here) well i always start off with small portions , even if it's just a page or two . n then i slowly keep increasing the amount of pages i read .. n yes ofc , i understand how brutal burnouts can get sometimes n that's why it's important to not overwhelm yourself by attempting to finish a big portion of your studies in one go .. just take it easy , let the information marinate in your head for a bit before you move on to the next topic .. so basically what im trying to say here is don't overwhelm yourself with big tasks especially when you're already burntout

the thing that honestly improved my life by a mile is getting good friends .. I've had my fair share of bad friend groups so trust me when I say this , it's better to be alone than with people who drain you mentally because . you deserve someone who treats you the way you actually want to be treated .

"but it's hard to make friends" i completely get this because i am a very shy person myself </3 but i think you could start by trying to make friends online ! its easy to find someone with similar interests on the internet .. so when you feel down atleast you know that there's someone on the other side of the world who cares for you ..

but this doesn't change the fact that solitude is AMAZING too (tbh i could go on for a really long time on how i love being by myself but this is already getting super lengthy ...) you can be your own friend too ! (okay see now this seems insane but if it makes you happy WHO CARES AMIRITE) i personally enjoy my own company like omg .. she can get a good laugh out of me sometimes ... you can do whatever you want when you're alone ! you can dance to your favourite playlist or experiment with a bunch of stuff ! if you get bored you can watch your favourite movie or consume your favourite piece of media that no one gets like you 🤫 so , as much as making friends sounds great , let's appreciate solitude too !!

one of the biggest reasons i go on walks almost regularly is to remind myself how beautiful the world can be sometimes .. (atp half of this is me convincing you all to go on walks) i live in a beautiful neighbourhood n there are a lot of different flowers and fruits that grow here and that makes me really happy . going on early morning walks especially is soo fun , the world is so quiet then and you can even watch the sunrise 🥹

another thing is buying myself things i like ... especially clothes ... if you think you would look good in something then js go ahead and buy it ! don't mind what other people think because like ... YOU are wearing it and if people around you have a problem with that then i think they should close their damn eyes and not look at you if it bothers them that much 🤦 you deserve to feel confident and comfortable in your own skin , you deserve to dress the way you want to ! so if you feel like dressing a particular way would make you feel better .. GO FOR IT !!! this applies to other things you like, maybe accessories, merch or stationary that look cute .. it's okay even if people judge you for your style because in the end they're the ones who are boring and miserable because they spend soo much time hating on others 😒

life is soo much more fun when you take care of yourself trust me ... you deserve to be taken care of !! so spoil yourself once in a while i promise it's okay as long as it makes you happy <3

i have a bunch of ocs but I’ll just talk about my main oc ryoko right now !!

her full name is ryoko ‘007’ aizawa. I’ll explain the 007 in a minute !! she’s aizawa’s adoptive daughter.

her parents (her dad more specifically, her mom was more of a bystander) are both from very wealthy families and merged. Her parents had an arranged marriage and after some chatter to get to know each other they’re conversations take a little bit of a turn..and inbetween bonding about their favorite movies oop! A lil comment about how the world would he better off without heroes..oh you think so too ? Well look at that, we have so much in common!! long story short they both decide that the want to create something that will be able to take down all might and the entirety of hero society and it’s restrictions,,and I’m pretty sure you can guess what that something was ! nine months later ryoko is born yipeee…!

during her entire pregnancy ryokos mom went through some quirk experiments (sponsored by doctor garaki 👍) because they knew that with both their quirks alone they wouldn’t be able to create a super weapon. (ryokos dad has an overhaul type quirk, and her mom has a healing sort of quirk) so they did some experiments hoping something would change in the womb, and when she was born the kept on doing experiments until she started manifesting a quirk w no attributes from her either of her parents and manifested a fully different quirk than she was originally meant to have,

since she had those experiments done ryokos body adapted to be able to handle her quirk, but it’s not perfect unfortunately.

heres a simple little chart of how it works ! (BTW I DO NOT DRAW LIKE THIS ANYMORE THIS IS OOOOLLLLDD😭😭😭😭)

her quirk is a lot like neijires as in she uses her own energy and converts it into power ! The amount she uses shows in her hair :3 ryoko tho, unlike neijire can do multiple things from sending blasts, to powering herself up to make parts of her body stronger, to making it hard objects like stepping stones she uses to navigate and weapons like dual swords or chains to restrain ppl !! she can also drain other peoples energy (and from her surroundings, but thats only in 100% mode ! ) because of the fact that her body had been modified, ryoko can carry more energy into herself than regular people which is why she can drain energy without any major drawback to a certain extent ! However, her drawbacks are way more severe, overusing her quirks makes her sleepy and drowsy, it gives her nosebleeds and very worse case scenario if she were to have too little or too much energy she could die :0 !!

(ALSO !! I lil extra tidbit: ryoko is capable of sensing peoples energy’s if she concentrates hard enough, it works better if shes seen them before, but she can sense all the energy in humans in her surroundings or if she has a picture, tho it’s slightly weaker and is limited to one person at a time. This is a form of remote viewing that i gave her bc of my obsession w stranger things i had !!😭)

its a pretty powerful quirk that her parents and other scientists knew they could use well, but unfortunately for them ryoko ended up liking heroes (she was barely educated, so she had no idea that she felt admiration for heroes and especially all might, she was alsovaguely aware that she was taught to do the wrong things, because she’d be forced to use her quirk on robots/ small animals in some cases.)

her parents weren’t supposed to feel any affection towards her so they decide to just give her a code name 007 :D which i realized a little too late was the same as james bond..woops😭

anyways fast forward to the biggg “earthquake” incident, shes rescued by a group of heroes, eraser head included :D unfortunately shes detained in tartarus since her being in a constant state of panick set her quirk off and she couldn’t stay in a regular hospital so ryoko has canonically been to tartarus as a inmate at the age of 4 😭! Oh forgot to mention this, but ryoko got her quirk veryy early due to the experiments done before her birth and after.

since ryoko cant control her quirk an aizawa can cancel them, they’re a pretty good matchup !! Fast forward some more and shes living with him ! he adopts her and lets her go to school, where she meets izu n katsuki and they quickly become friends because. Of COURSE. My main ocxcanon ship is a CHILDHOOD FRIENDS TO LOVERS ONEEE😭😭😭😭will i ever stop. raise your hand if you’ve ever seen that one comin

so immediately theres two things i wanna say about this part, about how catra reacts to stuff. first off, something we learn about catra throughout the whole show and especially in the portal-alternative-reality, is that shes big on Pretending Nothing Is Wrong. whenever shes feeling upset or angry about something, she will start joking around and acting like shes just totally super chill guys, dw ("Ugh, whatever. It's not like I even care. I just wanna get out of this dump at some point before I dieee of boredom). Shes acting like that in this scene. Adora was missing for hours, shadow weaver was breathing down her neck and threatening her, she was already worried adora might have left at this point. she cant let adora know how worried she was tho, so shes all jokes and fast paced conversation. To Adora, tho, it just looks like catra doesnt care, like she doesnt understand the gravity of the situation.

and the other thing is that honestly? I dont think catra does care. about the town, i mean. i think catra was ready for war in a way adora never was. theyre both seeing combat for the first time here, and adora hates it. training for war is completely different than being in the battlefield, and adora couldnt handle it. face to face with it she couldnt tolerate seeing people suffering and dying, houses being burned down, a whole village destroyed. when the horde brainwashed adora into thinking they were only doing the necessary to save etheria, she completely and fully believed it, and when faced with the reality of the horde she immediately realized how wrong that was. Catra, tho, could not care less. she never believed in what the horde said, she knew full well what the horde did, so this isnt a surprise for her. and i do think shes naturally a bit sadistic, or at least growing up among the violence of the horde made her so. either way, shes seeing battle here for the first time and shes completely fine with it. doesnt even spare it all a second glance. why would she care about these people she never met if the most important thing in the world is right here in front of her? (i think even if adora hadnt left that night and went into the battlefield as a force captain, she wouldve ended up deserting. she cant stand seeing people suffer and she cant stand not saving them. shes too good, too selfless for that. catra isnt.) (also she is so ready to kill at all times. she loves violence. i once saw someone say how shadow weaver thought adora was the "cutthroat, ruthless warrior" when that was actually catra and they were totally right)

adora is also trying something futile here, she doesnt need to explain to catra that the horde is bad and hurts innocent ppl because catra has known that all her life

Adora: Catra, no. I can't go back. Not until the Horde leaves this town alone. You have to help me.

Catra: What are you saying?

Adora: I’m saying, this is wrong. They've been lying to us, manipulating us. Hordak, Shadow Weaver, all of them.

Catra: Duh! Did ya just figure that out? Manipulation is Shadow Weaver's whole thing. She's been messing with our heads since we were kids.

(the captions in the pics are slightly wrong, nvm that.) everything i said before. adora just realized all of this, while catra has always known, probably because the abuse adora suffered was more manipulation-and-brainwashing, while shadow weaver always made clear to catra that she didnt give a shit about her, so she suffered physical abuse with little attempt to convince her this was fine.

the "what are you saying?" is one of the things that show how different their perspective is. adora is talking about going against the horde and helping the town, while catra immediately gets more personal. what do you mean? are you saying that you might leave the horde? leave me?

Adora: How could you possibly be okay with that?

adora means, how could you be ok with the horde lying about its actions, and killing innocent people? how could you be ok with the horde raising us to do the same? and catra hears, how could you be ok with shadow weaver and hordak abusing us?

Catra: Because, it doesn't matter what they do. The two of us look out for each other. And soon we'll be calling the shots. Now come on, can we go home already?

catra replies: because, i love you. because you have my back and i have yours. because nothing really bad can happen as long as we have each other, remember? and soon enough, we'll be powerful enough that they cant hurt us anymore. Adora hears, because i dont care about these people dying, the only thing thats important is you and i. and anyways, soon its gonna be Us killing them, isnt that good? lets go back home to the evil murder place.

Adora: I'm not going home, Catra. I can't. Not after everything I've seen. Come with me. You don't have to go back there. We can fix this.

adora says: im starting to realize now how wrong i was about everything. we're not the good guys, and i cant stand for that. i cant stand around and watch people get hurt. i cant stand around and watch you get hurt. lets leave, together, and have a better life, please. lets do the right thing.

Catra: Are you kidding? You've known these people for, what, a couple of hours? And now you're just gonna throw everything away for them?

catra hears, shes willing to leave me. after everything i did for her, all that i took, all of these years of us being together, she would still leave me. she would break our promise. she would leave me behind.

and then she straight up electrocutes adora. ok

she says it was a reflex, but i dont know if i believe her. i dont think she likes hurting adora (not physically. not by this point, anyways), but i do think that shes the type to lash out when upset and immediately regret it, then feel guily about it. which just makes her more upset. :(

Catra: Oh, man. That was a lot stronger than I thought. Are you okay?

Adora: Why are you doing this?

Catra: Because you left me! And if I don't bring you back, Shadow Weaver’s gonna have my head. So, enough with your weird little identity crisis and let's go home already. Or do I need to zap you again?

thats the last time they talk. adora gets teleported away by glimmer, and when they see each other again, its clear that they both made their choice.

the moment adora showed catra she was willing to leave her, there was no coming back for them. because catra would never get over that. she'd spend all her life in that hellscape, putting up with abuse and bullying and probably so much more we dont get to see, because of the promise adora made her. and, in her eyes, adora was ready to leave her on the first opportunity that came up. that hurt. that broke her. and that released something really ugly inside of her.

cue in 2,5 years of homoerotic rivalry and trauma. ok post over if you read this i hope you liked it <3 bye

I wonder if all this arc with Moon being the bad guy- and being off is maybe a way davis wants to share a messge? maybe a critic? maybe as to point out a detail or a thing in the fans?

this is not the first time Moon as a character did a horrible thing- do I need to bring back the Bunker scene? when Moon punched him and talked down to him?

"that all you are good for, cleaning up my mistakes" was something he said on his near madness state

after that, sure he said sorry but it never felt like he trully felt bad, if anything he felt like he now had to put himself in more stress and hide it better- when KC happened never fully explained it to Sun..why he wasnt all right- why Sun needed to stay away from his stuffs (like ok. Sun often had this moment were he could get too curious and mess up, that was somethiing we all knew, despite it all it wasnt in malice, just ignorance),he nearly Killed him once more in a mad state due to the Kill Code activated again..

but ya know what? fans eventually loved him back. sure we had a close eye on him- but I do recall ppl often baby Sun and critic Moon but soon they learned to love him again.. so did Sun..

his death made sure ppl cried for him, people worried for him and wanted him back..

now step into this arc- same idea- Moon does bananas, and does bad stuffs at those who loved him, fans are sure eating him alive in the comments im sure, many are trying to find a reason why, is this a new KillCode variant? mind control? virus?

whatever is the case, is a tale old as the show itself- Moons be bad guys, fans get angry, but then is given a reason, people pity Moon, his family justify him ((coffcoffLunarcoffcoff)) or simply accepts him and move on

tho sure is different now, as Sun can finally see he was abused and Earth may have hard time to forgive him- I can only imagine thats the goal for this arc.. maybe simply point out a fact? maybe is not so deep

maybe is a "copy the old homework but change it a bit so no one will see is the same" - is not a bad thing, they cant simply come up with arcs out of the blue, and so far seems like this one is giving them views, so works

yet I see many wonder "why would they do this?" is simple, it worked once!

Hi!! I'd quite like to ask about Dogma'a Rulebook please! (Also Fuck me in the arse tonight because that title!!!)

Dogma's Rulebook is another fic from my old co-author. They wrote about 3ish chapters before jumping to another midnight idea. Minor editing has occurred with this one but I'll be honest, I haven't read it in a while.

General premise is about Dogma's transition from the front lines, after umbara, into the guard. It covers his introduction, his relationships with his new squad, the commanders, and a possible love interest via civilian- though Im thinking about cutting that character as his main purpose was simply cuddle piles.

Here is a section that I have deemed Safe for Public Consumption:

"The barracks themselves were not much different then the ones on the Resolute, although there were many more bunks with space to spare, and even a large window on one side. The Commander starts talking to Dogma again, something along the lines of the freshers being in the back and some trooper habits. The large window has several mattresses placed in front of it, along with a veritable nest of pillows and blankets. The bunks that they were scavenged from have been fashioned into shelves with everything from holopads to odd plants stored in their cubbies. These bits of improvised furniture create a sort of room within a room, blocking off the view to most other bunks, and with the evening sun it all looks rather peaceful.

A firm hand clapping his shoulder brings Dogma back to conversation, Commander Thorn is wrapping up his welcome speech it seems. “Remember the other vode here can help you find anything, you’ll start on basic patrols with your assigned group after tomorrow, get some rest Private.” Dogma nods, he hasn’t used more than a handful of words on the way here and he wasn’t about to change that, hopefully it wouldn’t seem too disrespectful to the Commander. Honestly Dogma isn’t usually this wrapped up in his own head, but ever since Umbara he’s been distracted more and more lately, usually by the smallest things too."

Like I said, old work, needs major edits. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it as Dogma is not one of my main characters for this AU.

in relation to the binary/nonbinary conversion happening i wanna maybe state some obvious things but “different groups are allowed to have their own unique language and terminology to discuss how their identity shapes their experiences” and “trans people’s experiences will overlap easily 80% of the time because even if we all have wildly different genders we’re still trans” and “terms don’t need to describe completely unique things to be useful” and “cis gnc and intersex people have a lot in common with us too, trying to insist otherwise needlessly isolates us when we are stronger together” and “even someone with a fully binary gender isn’t automatically gonna ‘look binary’ so we should make sure to not create a big divide between binary and nonbinary experiences” and “if an enby vents abt binary trans ppl one time in a less than ideal way we shouldnt assume the worst immediately” and a bunch of other statements can all coexist

not aimed negatively at any previous anons, i think we largely seem to be on the same page here like that it’s fine to call something (specific transphobia) without disclaiming every time that other people experience it too or talk abt the differences in how bigots may treat us, as long as nobody tries to claim that ONLY one group can ever go through that bc that’s just silly, and overall we should give each other the benefit of the doubt and assume good faith until proven wrong bc this is still just a blogging website and we’re not attending each others thesis defence

and ngl i do understand that a lot of enbies (and others) are frustrated with how it’s always up to them to remind the rest of us that they exist, so i def feel for some of these anons and think that it’s fair to want their binary siblings to be more actively inclusive and thoughtful so im def taking things said here to heart
