is there any magical girl anime still out there that doesn't have any fanservice? Shows like Precure, Cardcaptor Sakura or Madoka?

And if there isn't, are there at least any shows where the fanservice isn't with elementary school girls?

#watching prisma illya for the first time because im getting back into fate in general and #??????????????????????#i watch and love symphogear! same for nanoha! i have a not insignificant tolerance of fanservice #but there is a limit to how much of it i can take especially in pg13 and prisma illya keeps breaking past it! at least once per episode!#which is a shame because i enjoy the story and music and animation!! the more 'mundane' setting!! but then EVERYTHING ELSE is fanservice #character wakes up: fantasizes over kissing brother #character gets up after getting hit in a battle: gotta make sure the butt is detailed and in frame #downtime scene: detailed animation of characters 'innocently' sharing ice cream with the 'appropiate' sound and expression #attempt at humor: hey guys. innuendos am i right. elementary school kids talk like this.#(other attempt at humor is the rin luvia rivalry which i am indifferent to even in main fate setting)#more of illya channeling archer and curbstomping saber alter and less of [vague gesture at s2e2] chloe wtf also whoever wrote that scene wt #tbf s2e2 chloe has been the worst offender by far up to this point which in the middle of all of the rest is kind of impressive in a bad wa #sorry about the vent i just needed to get that out of my system #also the question in the post is meant seriously. if anyone knows any i am absolutely open to recommendations.#when a jo speaks

Sometimes I feel like people will read one (1) story and base all their perceptions of a unit/character off of that which. Just doesn't really work imo, ESPECIALLY in the Reminisce stories.

Of course you won't like Shu if you only read Marionette. Of course you won't like Keito if you only read Meteor Impact. Of course you won't like Eichi if you only read Three Magicians (or literally any other reminisce story). Because they all play an antagonistic role.

You're seeing the absolute worst parts of them, their lowest points, when they're at their most desperate and ruthless. And that can be a good thing!!! I would not have the same understanding of any of these characters if I had NOT read those stories, and I'm grateful that I can fully know them better now! But I feel like sometimes, people run with it way too far, and refuse to acknowledge any change from them, even when all three of these examples have apologized and genuinely attempted to better themselves.

That's definitely not to say you have to read all the stories for a unit/character before forming any opinion on them (I freely admit that I could tell you almost nothing about Eden or current fine's development). However, be aware that your opinion may be influenced by certain stories, and that it is very likely you are missing some context for why a certain character acts the way they do.

Therefore, please stay open-minded, or at the very least, honest and polite!

I love House of Wax (2005!!) with all my heart, but I found the twist at the end so funny. Like, I know it was probably teasing a sequel, but in my head, it seemed like a hand fisted detail that added little to nothing to the story. And also like the most generic plot twist you could ever add.

#the fact that this movie has an MCR song in it #a hot guy and a long haired male serial killer. how is it so underrated #definitely did not spend the whole movie taking screenshots of Nick #i still feel bad for Vincent but dude almost killed Nick so the ending was justified. he also killed like a bunch of other people ig idk #the plot twists were great (especially the one at the church). the cast was great. the music was fucking great. i loved it so much #im so glad i finally watched it #im on a slasher marathon yeah #this one takes the cake tho #fuck it this one takes the whole party #the wade scenes...ough. i cringed so hard.
