It makes me so sad when people boil venti down to a useless drunk, and zhongli to a forgetful old man, even worse if they treat them like they don’t care about their nations. Honestly, it confuses me how the Raiden Shogun was the only one seen as a real archon, but that’s just because she was scary. It kinda creates the unfortunate implication that the only way for a character to feel like a god is it they terrorize their own people. Is it not enough to watch over them and step in when needed? Why do we demand the archons to be actively threatening?

It also upsets me when people try to pretend that furina was never the hydro archon. Like yes, she didn’t have the power and was playing as the position, but until act 5, everyone believed she truly was a god. Is that not enough? If a human plays at a god to the point where everyone considers them as one, are they a god?

This isn't, like, the biggest deal, but I do find it funny when people are almost... surprised or shocked that converts unironically believe in judaism and also unironically align themselves with jewishness. It's just something I've seen a small handful of times and it's like... of course I (and others!) unironically believe in this stuff. friendly reminder to book of mormon THE MUSICAL fans that mormonism is real and not just something they made up for the show. and even if it's. well. The Way It Is. mormons are real people and y'all need to stop treating them like your pets or animals at the zoo. yes learning about religion is fun and interesting and i actually heavily encourage you to educate yourselves on different religions but just because theres a comedy musical about one does not give you an excuse to treat people that way completely unprovoked.

the thing is i drew Crawly and Azira in Eden (i had a whole sequence where god wanted new creatures but she wasn't convinced) (in my mind this was hated by Crawly, although something happened to her when she saw Azira with a baby triceraptos in her arms) (i was too lazy and frustrated with my art to do the whole comic the way it was in my mind)
