just a quick little rebody I did. I found this bootleg doll in the wild, and remembered I had this fantasy friend lying around that the body would be perfect on.
I never got more than the one friend because I hated their bodies, gimmick, and weird skimpy outfits, but on this body she looks like a proper Rainbow High little sister doll, and now she’s very, very cute. She’d be a good little sister for Violet, but I don’t have her, so Sunny is baby sitting until I decide which of the dolls I actually have she can be related to.
#probably gonna make her the Strom twins lil sis lmao#I have not watched the show idk what their cannon personalities are like#but in my world they're getting a little sister

I Don't Understand You
Fandom: Twisters, Tyler Owens, f!reader Summary: Although your lives are very different, you and Tyler have been happily together for years. However, when a new girl arrives, Tyler can't seem to focus on anything else. This Kate seems to understand him in a way you never could and you start to wonder if loving someone really means letting them go... Word Count: 4386 TW: Angst with a Happy Ending, Emotional Hurt/Comfort, Breakup, Makeup, Tears Notes: Huge thanks to @blue-aconite and @green-socks for beta reading this for me and to the anon who made this request 💕 SPOILERS FOR TWISTERS
Divider created by me (please ask/credit before using)
You noticed the change in him the moment they met.
Usually, you weren’t involved in Tyler’s chases but for some reason that day, you decided to meet the crew at a diner for lunch between storms. You had to fight your way through the crowd of adoring fans hovering around his truck before being able to greet him with a big kiss and warm embrace. As always, he kissed you back before slinging his arm over your shoulder. But as the two of you began walking towards the diner door, chatting about what he had gotten up to that morning, he trailed off, his attention now fully on the crew huddled around the Strom Par trucks.
You didn’t know any of those guys by name but had been around enough to recognize their faces—all but one. There was a new girl with them who was studying a tablet and glancing up at the darkening sky. She was pretty, but you didn’t see anything particularly notable about her. You turned to ask Tyler who she was, but before you could, he strolled off in that direction without a word leaving you standing with your hand on the door to the diner unsure what you were supposed to do.
Part of you thought you should go inside and order both of you lunch so it would be waiting when he came back, but there was something in Tyler’s posture as he stood next to this girl that was setting off alarm bells in your head. They were across the parking lot with their backs mostly to you so you couldn’t make out anything they were saying, but after knowing Tyler for six years and dating him for four, you had gotten rather good at reading his body language. And right now, the pronounced jut of his hips, the upturned tilt of his head, and that certain smile you could just get a glimpse of when he turned the right way all told you the same thing. He liked this girl—a lot.
You watched them for another moment or two until Lily, Dani, and Boone came barrelling out of the diner, almost knocking you over. By the time you all untangled yourselves and you looked back over to where Tyler and the girl had been standing, she was walking back towards the Storm Par team. But Tyler…Tyler’s eyes were locked on her. He nodded slightly as an impressed grin spread across half of his face. He stared after her for another beat before the grin dropped and he straightened, his eyes scanning the lot until he saw you standing by the diner, looking back at him. Quickly slipping his sunglasses back on his face, he jogged to your side.
Just before he reached you, he shot one quick look over his shoulder at the Storm Par team. Whatever the girl had said to them had caused them to pack up all their equipment and climb into their vehicles. Tyler jerked his head at Lily, Dani, and Boone who were still standing near you, then he placed his hands on your shoulders.
“I’m sorry we didn’t get to do lunch, but we gotta go. Storm’s moving in faster than we thought and it looks like it's gonna be a good one.” He rubbed his hands up and down your arms. “Just meet you back at the motel tonight? Dex was gonna grill up some steaks for everyone.”
“Yeah,” you said, not looking at his face. “Sounds like a plan.”
“Hey.” He used his finger to tilt your chin up to look at him. “Everything alright?”
You sighed, staring into his sunglasses. “Yes, Tyler. Just go before you miss your window. I’ll see you tonight.”
“Okay…tonight.” He squeezed your arms one last time and pressed a quick kiss to the top of your head before heading to where his crew was already packing up.
When he was about halfway across the parking lot, the group of Storm Par vehicles pulled out in front of him. As the truck the girl was in passed by, you saw that same smile return to his face and you turned away, a queasy feeling building in your stomach.
That night at the motel, all Tyler could talk about was this girl—Kate—and how she had perfectly predicted the storm. Everyone else out there had assumed the system forming to the east was the one to chase, yet Tyler and Kate had been the only ones to correctly identify that the cap wouldn’t break and the one to the west was the better option.
The sick feeling deep in your stomach that had been growing since Tyler began talking about her only got worse when Kate walked by the Wranglers on the way to her room. Tyler introduced the two of you—she was polite but seemed surprised when Tyler referred to you as his girlfriend. You just nodded back before taking a long drag on your beer. Seeing the way Tyler had looked at her was bad enough, but hearing him tease her and listening to him call her by a little nickname all while that spark burned in his eyes was a thousand times worse. And on top of it all, you could see past his bravado—he genuinely respected this girl and thought she was special. It was too much to take and, shortly after she left, you excused yourself and went to your room. When Tyler came up an hour or two later, you pretended to be asleep so you wouldn’t have to talk.
Originally, you had planned on heading back to your shared apartment in the morning, but as uncomfortable as you were feeling about the situation, you didn’t feel like leaving Tyler alone with Kate. You felt terrible even thinking like that because you knew Tyler loved you and would never do anything to hurt you, but you couldn’t forget the way he looked at her. So, you rode out with Dani and Dexter on that day’s chase and jumped in to help when the crew arrived in what was left of Crystal Springs after the storm went through.
While the rest of the crew began handing out food and water to those who had just lost everything, a woman came over to where you, Tyler, and Boone were sorting through some rubble. She was dirty and crying, tears leaving muddy streaks down her face as she explained that they couldn’t find their family dog and, as her kids had already lost so much, was there any way you could help her find him. You were all more than willing to help and immediately began looking for the little guy.
After a while, you began drifting away from where Tyler and Boone were looking. Out of the corner of your eye, you saw the Storm Par trucks pull up but you tried to ignore them. Scott and Javi were probably just here to try to talk these poor people into selling what little they had left to that slimeball Riggs for a fraction of what it was worth. How could Tyler seriously be drawn to this new girl if she was helping Storm Par do this to people? It went against everything Tyler stood for. This thought stuck in your head and you began to wonder if maybe you had let your insecurities get the best of you and had blown this whole Kate situation out of proportion.
Suddenly, you heard a small whimper off to your left. Slowly and carefully, you shifted a few pieces of concrete and wood until you saw a tiny pair of eyes staring back at you from the shadows. Bending down, you called out to him, and the cutest little tan-and-white terrier poked his head out with a small bark. After sniffing in your direction for a moment, he slunk forward until he was right in front of you and you slowly reached out. When he didn’t retreat, you placed your hand gently on his head and stroked his fur. He was trembling and wet but otherwise seemed unharmed.
“Hey there, buddy! I'm so glad we found you all safe and sound.” You gathered the small dog into your arms. Rubbing under his chin and giving him a reassuring coo, you turned around and called out, “Ty! Look who I fou—”
The smile faded from your face as you spotted Kate speaking with Tyler and Boone. Even being this far away, even with Tyler getting heated about whatever they were talking about, even as Tyler turned to storm away, you could see that you hadn’t been jumping to conclusions after all. You could practically see the tension crackling in the air between them and it was the final straw. As much as every fiber of your being was screaming at you not to, you knew what you needed to do.
Walking over to where the guys were still searching, you placed the dog into Boone’s arms before grabbing Tyler’s hand and leading him away from everyone else. “We need to talk.”
“Uh oh. Am I in trouble?” he asked, chuckling slightly. But the moment you pulled him behind the rubble of one of the houses and faced him, his smile evaporated. Squeezing your hand tighter, he asked, “Wait. Is something actually wrong?”
Letting go of his hand, you took a few steps away from him as you slowly exhaled. Then you asked, “Tell me one thing about what I do at my job. Not my title, but what I do.”
Tyler stared at you as if you had just grown another head. “Sweetheart, what is this—”
“Just answer the question.”
He ran his hand through his hair as he pondered the question. “You’re in finance and you work…with money…”
“Doing what with money?”
“....I don’t know.”
“I know you don’t and we’ve always joked about it and I thought it was okay. After all, I don’t really get what you do either—I never have. I mean, I know what you literally do, but how you feel about it or why you get such joy from it?” You shake your head, staring at the ground. “I’ve tried to be as supportive as I could be the last four years and let you go out there without saying a word, despite how dangerous it is, but I still don’t get it…She does.”
“She who?”
“Kate.”
“Wait a minute–” Tyler held up his hands and took a step closer to you but you cut him off.
“Tyler, you’ve been different ever since she showed up. She’s all you talk about and you’ve been going out of your way to impress her or show her how much better you are than Storm Par.”
“You know I get a little competitive especially when it comes to those assholes. They look down on my crew because they don’t have degrees or schooling or whatever and I sometimes get lost in trying to show them we are just as good as they are without all that stuff. So maybe I was going a little overboard trying to show Kate that before Storm Par turned her against us. But you know it’s all just big talk.”
“I know and I’ve tried to tell myself that. But it’s not just what you say to her, it’s how you are whenever she’s around. You stand differently, smile differently. You…you…” You blinked several times as you tried to hold back the tears that were forming in your eyes.
“I what?”
Taking another deep breath, you said, “Ty…the way you look at her is how you used to look at me.”
That shut him up. Whatever argument he was forming in his head was no longer valid and he knew it.
Placing your hand over his heart, you said as your voice trembled slightly, “Admit it. We’ve been off for a while now. It sort of feels like we’ve just been going through the motions. We used to talk about the future: a house, marriage, a dog, maybe kids. But I can’t even remember the last time either of us mentioned anything like that.” Your eyes dropped to the ground, unable to look into his eyes as you said this next part. “Maybe…maybe we just need to take some time apart. Maybe there’s something better out there for both of us and we’re just holding each other back.”
Tyler placed his hand over where yours still rested on his chest. “There’s no one better than you.”
“Are you sure you still feel that way?” Tyler started to respond but you added, “Even after meeting Kate?”
He hesitated and that was all you needed to hear.
Cupping his cheek with your free hand, you found the strength to look up at him as you said, “I love you. But I don’t understand you—not the way she does. And I honestly don’t think I ever will. So you need to explore this and see if there’s something there that I couldn’t give you.” You laughed, tears streaming down your cheeks. “And who knows? Maybe while you and Kate are getting your happily ever after, I’ll meet someone who understands what I do at work with money.”
Tyler squeezed his eyes shut, leaning into your touch as he whispered, “I don’t want you to go.”
“And I don’t want to go. But I have to. For both of us.” Pulling his face down towards yours, you lightly kissed his lips. Then, after pulling back, you rested your forehead against his. “Please…really give this a try. All I want for you is to be happy. Whether that’s with me, Kate, or someone else. And who knows? Maybe we’ll find our way back to each other one day. But until then, if you feel it…”
Your hands slipped from where they rested on him as you pivoted quickly and rushed away. You wanted him to come after you. To come running up behind you, sweep you into his arms, and say he was chasing what he felt and that this had all been a mistake. But he didn’t.
Finding a police officer climbing into his car, you asked for a lift back to the motel where you had left your car. As you were climbing in, you glanced back at where you had left Tyler. But he wasn’t staring back. Instead, his attention was fully on one of the Storm Par trucks that was pulling out and you just managed to catch a glimpse of the driver’s blonde ponytail.
What was left of your heart shattered.
The next few days were some of the worst of your life. You tried to carry on with your normal schedule and stay busy to keep your mind off of everything, but it was nearly impossible, especially considering you were still living in the apartment you shared with Tyler when it wasn’t storm season. His presence lingered in every inch of the space and you wondered how long you should wait before trying to find a new place to stay. He would still be gone for another month or so but living here knowing he was nothing more than a roommate at this point nearly brought you to tears every time you thought about it.
But even worse were the constant scenarios that played through your head about what he and Kate were doing at any given moment. You had told him to explore things with her and really see if there was a connection there, yet now thinking about him acting on anything made that queasy feeling in your stomach return worse than ever. One time you actually did get sick when you imagined Tyler showing up at the apartment asking you to leave so Kate could move it. You knew he would never be that cruel, but it didn’t stop your brain from asking what if.
Sometimes you wondered if you made a mistake. You had brought up your job and the fact Tyler didn’t know what you did as a reason he didn’t understand you, but that wasn’t the real issue (and to be fair, your job was pretty nuanced and even your parents could never remember exactly what you did). Deep down you had known for a while things were stalling out between the two of you. The love was still there but you had fallen into a rut, just going through the same routines without really putting much thought or effort into anything. Maybe Kate’s arrival was just the wake-up call you needed to face the truth. But maybe instead of pushing Tyler into another woman’s arms, you should have used this realization as fuel to work on getting the two of you back to where you were when you first started dating.
Maybe you just threw away the love of your life because you hadn’t tried putting the work into the relationship…
A few days after leaving Oklahoma, you were cleaning the kitchen after making dinner when you heard a frantic pounding on your door. Someone from work had mentioned possibly dropping off some paperwork later, but this sounded much too urgent a knock to be them.
Walking over to the door, you pressed against it and called, “Who is it?”
“It’s me.”
Your heart froze in your chest. It was still the middle of storm season. You hadn’t prepared yourself to face Tyler until then at least. Could he really be here to ask you to move out after all?
Cracking the door slightly to peer out, you gasped and let it swing open the rest of the way as you saw him leaning heavily on the door frame. His jeans and favorite dark burgundy shirt were filthy and ripped in several places. It looked like he had what was once mud—now dried, cracked, and flaking off—caked into his hair, skin, and clothes. But it was the way he was favoring his left leg, keeping as much weight off of it as possible, that really caught your attention.
“What the hell happened to you? Are you okay?” You grabbed his arm and slung it over your shoulder, helping him hobble into the apartment.
You tried to get him to sit on the couch, but he waved you off, opting to lean against the kitchen counter instead. Thinking he might want something to drink, you started to walk towards the fridge, however he grabbed your hand and pulled you into his arms. He reeked of sweat, oil, and smoke, and you tried to squirm out of his grasp but he stopped you, running his hand down the side of your face.
Trying to stay strong and not to melt into his embrace, you whispered, “What are you doing?”
But he just pulled you closer, his green eyes shining with something you recognized but hadn’t seen in a long time. “It’s you. It was always you and will always be you. And I should have known that from the beginning.”
Sighing, you pushed against his chest again. “Ty, I said we needed to take a step back and explore other relationships.”
“I did.”
Even though that was what you were telling him to do, it stung to hear but you pushed past it. “It’s been less than a week. That doesn’t count.”
“It could have been a year and it wouldn’t make a difference. Yeah, Kate and I share something because of our connections with the storms, and I had never met someone else who looks at them like I do so I was intrigued by her. But she’s not what I want and I’m sorry if I made you think she was. But I know now without a doubt what I want and that’s you.”
The certainty in his voice made you weak in the knees but you couldn’t understand what could have changed so completely in such a short amount of time. Studying his face, you asked, “What happened out there?”
“I just walked away from an EF5, even though I shouldn’t have. We were trying to help get people somewhere safe to hide before the storm hit when my leg got pinned under some debris—” you gasped “—I’m fine, I promise. Kate and Javi got me out and it’s just a little sore now. But then Kate took my truck and went out into the storm alone leaving Javi and me to help the rest of the crew keep everyone safe. The only place we could go was the movie theater and it wasn’t made to be a shelter. It started to come apart in minutes and people were getting sucked out. Then Lily lost her grip—”
“No! Tyler–”
“I was able to grab her but it was like playing tug of war with Mother Nature. I was holding onto her with both hands and the only thing keeping both of us from flying away was the toe of my boot wrapped around the leg of one of the theater seats. That moment was the first time in a really long time that I thought this might be it. That I wasn’t making it out of this storm alive. But just when it seemed like I couldn’t hold on any longer, I thought about you—and only you. I thought about the way you smile and boop my nose with whipped cream every single time we split a piece of pie. I thought about your absolutely horrible attempt at singing while you take a shower. I thought about that little sound you make when you’re sleeping curled against me. But most of all, I thought about the way we left things and I refused to let that be the last conversation we ever had. So, I held on until Kate was able to break up the storm.”
You had been falling in love with Tyler all over again at his confession, but that last sentence threw you for a loop. “Wait, she did what?”
He shook his head. “It’s a long story. I’ll explain later. But the point is, I came straight here as soon as I made sure everyone was okay because I had to fix things between us. And because I needed to do what I should have done a long time ago.”
Letting you go, Tyler reached into his pocket as—wincing—he lowered himself onto his injured leg. Your eyes grew wide as you realized what he was about to do. However, before he could pull his hand out of his pocket, you dropped down beside him, placing your hands on his to stop him.
“Ty, are you sure?” you asked, voice trembling. “I don’t want you to do this because you almost died or you think you have to—”
Tyler smiled, tears forming at the corners of his eyes. “No. Baby, I’ve realized that when you love something, you’ll spend your whole life trying to understand it. So while we might not understand everything about each other right now, I’d like to spend the rest of my life by your side trying to figure it out. Because I love you more than anything else in the world and would be honored if you’d let me spend every day proving that to you—” he moved your hands aside and pulled out a box from his pocket “—as my wife.”
He popped open the lid and you gasped. The diamond ring inside was as gorgeous as it was huge. You had seen smaller rings on A-list celebrities and knew there was no way in hell either you or Tyler could afford something like this, even if you combined your savings.
Mouth still gaping, you choked out, “Where the hell did you get that?”
Tyler smiled. “There was a jewelry shop down the street from the theater that was still standing. When I went by, the owner was out front inspecting the damage. Turns out, I had helped his wife and kids get to safety so he opened up the store and gave me a pretty good deal on it.”
“Still, you didn’t need to do this.” You reached up and brushed his hair off his face where it had been plastered down by sweat and dirt. “You know all I’ve ever wanted was you. You could have given me a rubber band and I still would have been the happiest girl in the world.”
“Should I take it back then?” He started to close the ring box, but you stopped him.
“Well, don’t be so hasty! I mean, since you already have it…”
“Does this mean you’re saying yes?” There was just the slightest edge of fear in his voice as if he honestly thought you might have a different answer.
But you nodded, holding out your hand. “Yes. As long as you are absolutely sure this is what you want, then of course I’m saying yes.”
Tyler’s smile doubled in size as he took the ring out of the box and slid it on your finger. Even noting how big it was, the weight of it momentarily surprised you. The diamonds sparkled and shined in the lights of the kitchen and you wondered if you would ever get tired of staring at it.
Once it was securely in place, Tyler wrapped his hand around the back of your neck and pulled you into his lips. The kiss had a fire and desire to it you hadn’t felt in what seemed like years, and you silently vowed to never let your passion for each other smolder again.
As the heat of the kiss began to burn even brighter, you felt Tyler’s fingers fiddling with the buttons of your blouse. With a soft moan, you turned your head, breaking the kiss but leaving your face pressed against his. “Ty, please don’t be offended by this, but do you think before we go any further, we could move this celebration to the shower? You smell really bad.”
He chuckled, his hands still skimming over the front of your blouse. “I’ll go wherever you want me to, as long as we are together.”
You smiled back and placed a quick kiss on his lips. “Forever.”
Then you helped ease him off the floor before leading him into the bathroom, both of your shirts and pants already on the floor before you reached it.

The centre is rather quiet in the afternoon with only a few people being there this late. "Afternoon Nola, how are you handling the flyers?" They call out to the older woman.
Nola sighs wearily as her younger co-worker approaches. "Those rusalka give me more trouble than all the others combined, I swear," she grumbles accent coming out thick.
Gesturing out toward the large pool the three currently rest in, she continues, "They hardly stay put long enough for a proper check! Always zooming about." She huffs.
"Whistler is a right negodyay," Nola remarks with a shake of her head. "I'll keep an eye on them tonight, but going to go check Big man and make sure he eats today, then I'll feed the demons before letting them out, Quins gave me the go ahead to let them back out to the pods" they state with a chuckle.
Nola nods sagely at the caretaker's plan. "You do that, dear - wouldn't do to have the big lug go hungry. Just take it slow and watch Him. one wrong move and..." She mimes a massive set of dentae snapping shut for emphasis.
“I will Nola, he's not that bad, he's just a grumpy big lug, ain't the first time I've fed him, think it's the reason Quin has me feeding most of them.” They remark while scooping fish into the buckets and barriers on the cart out of the fish pools.
"Hey there Big Man" they say softly walking to the edge of the water standing there to see what mood the large grey Oceanide is in. "Are you going to try and eat me again?" They call out. Within the pool's cool depths, a massive form begins slowly stirring their approach. After all, the Oceanides could feel the vibrations of their steps. The Meg glances toward them with a rumble, crimson eyes glinting with annoyance.
His fins and gills flare briefly as if to try and scare them off but after it doesn't work a grumbling noise comes from him. They slowly sat at the edge waiting for him to come closer, even if he didn't let them touch it at least gave them the opportunity to check his wounds to make sure they were healing.
They bring the bucket of fish to sit beside them almost like bribery. "Don't you growl at me" they call out with a glare while grabbing a fish and holding it up to see what they had for him. With immense leisure he slowly prowls closer through the water.
He circles the tiny creature slowly, letting the churning wake of his bulk send ripples lapping at the pool's edge in a rumbling wave of threat. But as they make no move borne of fear, merely proffering bribes of fuel and medical care, a grudging respect glints within those warped features.
They put on a brave face while lowering the squirming fish into the water, holding it by the mouth. "Come on Big man, just want to see how you're healing" they say softly while waiting for him to approach.
His maw parts, releasing a snarl that vibrates the waters ominously - yet he doesn't charge or attack. He swims close, browling again before taking the Fish from their hand.
The fish vanishes into his mouth followed by crunches, a deep rumble leaves his chest and he glares at them waiting for another.
His form seems to ripple and swirl the water as his tail flicks slowly. They are gentle while reaching out very slowly to touch his face checking the fresh scars. Their other hand grabs another fish, holding it out for him to eat. "Gentle big guy, I'll get you more, no ones stealing your fish" they hum.
A disgruntled rumble resonates from his massive frame as their hands trace the recent wounds. The fish vanishes as quickly as the first before a low whistle leaves him as he lets his head rest on their lap as they feed him more fish.
"You need to stop getting into fights with Big blue, gonna get yourself hurt even more. You two bulls are a nightmare sometimes he's not trying to take your pod or fish" they state softly bring the bucket closer so Megatron could pick out the fish he wanted to eat.
His dentae snap down on another before he grabs for the squid and clams, the crunching of the shells echoes in the quiet night. A low, primal snarl rumbles up from the depths of his chest which has them tensing up. His gills flexes and flare, as he sniffs the air.
"Easy big man, easy" they coo, tracing the flared fins of his face. "That angry at him huh?" They nearly whisper. "The more you two fight the more you both end up back in here till your wounds heal, no ocean swimming till you heal"
he hisses, tail lashing hard enough to send waves crashing against the pool's rim. growls leave him and he quickly flicks around away from them. They sigh as he darts back into the water, sitting there for a while before tipping the rest of the bucket into the water so he still had fish, kelp and clams to eat. He submerges himself in the pool's cool concealment once more. They give the large mer one last look before grabbing their cart and leaving him.
Making their way to the next lagoon. The three sea skipping Oceanides head immediately snap towards the newly-arrived scent of food. The trine observers with fierce scarlet eyes, powerful frames arching and twisting through the water with the grace.
Screech breaks the surface first, fins flared with a Shrill. circling nearer the waters edge.
Whistler calls out in a little song of delight to see them wildly, breaking the surface with a splash. "Hello you three, giving Nola trouble again?" They ask rather disapprovingly.
The trine draws near as one, awaiting food eagerly. They sigh as the three mers hiss, thrill and rumble at them. "Yea, yea, I know dinner time." They hum while moving to the cart. "Don't you drag me in!" They warn before tipping the barrel of fish into the water. No sooner do the fish spill into the water than a trill rings out. powerful arms snake about their waist - and with a mighty splash, Whistler drags them into the water!
The seeker coos and thrills madly, spiralling through the depths with his prize clasped close against slick violet and black scales. Bubbles stream from his grinning maw. A deep snarl leaves the Blue Oceanides, only for Whistler to let out a soft whine and he tries nuzzling against them. They cough and spit water, trying to swim to the side not wanting to get caught in the feeding frenzy.
Storm appears quickly snagging them from the purple Mer pulling them safe against his body. It's a deep rumble from Storm, screech subsides with a sulky snarl but quickly swims off to catch fish. They cling onto the blue Oceanides as he slowly helps them back onto the land. "Thank you Storm" water drips from their now drenched uniform. They glare at the other two mers.
The other two continue to cavort and squabble over fish. Storm calls out softly to them which earns him a quick glance. They move back over to another bucket grabbing it grumpily, moving to sit in front of the Blue mer. "Well since those two want to be demons I guess you get the treats" they mutter while pulling out a handful of clams and sea weed for him.
Screech slinks nearer across the waters with a loud purr. Whistler chitters excitedly, zipping through the shallows to plaster himself against his pool mates flank, whining pleadingly.
What really makes the other two mers whine is when they pull out the Squid. Letting Storm eat it smugly. Screech shrill warbling of outrage pierces the quiet air the moment the squid is given to the blue mer. shrieks, and gills flared along with his wings which twitched in barely restrained fury. Whistler writhes and chitters jealousy. He eyes the succulent mollusk. "No you two want to be demons, no treats." They huff out not falling for the thrills and chritters.
A little after they finish feeding they move to open the canal that leads back into the cove. All three shoot up in excitement, jetting out the moment the gate is open. Excited thrills and calls leave them which others echo back at them.

Word Count: 4386 TW: Angst with a Happy Ending, Emotional Hurt/Comfort, Breakup, Makeup, Tears Notes: Huge thanks to @blue-aconite and @green-socks for beta reading this for me💕 SPOILERS FOR TWISTERS
“Forever.”
Then you helped ease him off the floor before leading him into the bathroom, both of your shirts and pants already on the floor before you reached it.

put it on me | d.t x reader x r.t | vampire au | bloody baby au
an: heyyy ya’ll missed me? had a tove lo song stuck in my head it’s talking body.
synopsis: baby knows she has been made to forget, she knows they are pretending to, everything is alright but is it?
warning: overconsumption of alcohol, compelling, argument.
You were dead sure something was off, like visually not a hair out of place but you just knew, like a nagging intuition burning holes into your stomach. Though it could have been the last shot oqf tequila you took.
They let you off the fucking island, it made no sense. What four months of playing a captured princess and out of nowhere “Go birdie go fly and be free.” something was off it was sour milk in your mouth. One could even say it was because you were touch deprived, but the more shocking detail to take note of was the lack of puncture marks in your body. This wasn’t some insecurity bullshit again, this was them hovering over you from the balconies watching you dance with you friends and not lifting a finger to feel you up.
Absurd isn't it?
Something happened, you can only feel it in your dreams, something deeply wrong— something that you were not supposed to see but you hadn't been compelled, at least you think you weren’t. You simply woke up in their bed three weeks and they’ve pretended like you would break from a single touch, and they watch you—constantly. When you eat, when you read on the lawn and sometimes you could swear they watch you sleep.
This uneasiness was tearing at you, were they done with you? Their own martial relations seemed to be a little too close, they always were but you never felt left out but now you did, you felt nervous even to walk up to Rhaenyra for a hug in the morning. And now this.
A taste of caged freedom. Freedom.
Who knew you'd grow so fond of the cage that housed you, a golden stone castle far from any life you’ve ever seen? Yet here you were now, at a cheap club your friends and you had graced every weekend after working on your thesis to chug fireballs and vodka.
Freedom? That's what the wanted you to feel, to help you transition back to your mortal life. Well then, a taste of it should have been fair for all. So you didn't hesitate after pulling another bill from your bra and ordering another round for your girlfriends. You loved them, you missed them, but right now your sense of celebration wasn't for them. As the bitter liquid burned at your throat, you shot daggers at the balconies again and disappeared into the crowd.
Deep in the sea of sweaty bodies jumping with no care in the world, thick into where the intentions of every one were similar, “We’re free game” You didn't care who touched you, just as way before when you didn't. You never know the person, hell you couldn't even make out their face from the lights but you felt the hands, the grinding.
It did feel freeing, compelled or not, you could do it— slip further into the crowd and just slip out of this dingy club. Disappear with the money and ID tucked into the lining of your bra, they won't find you. Strom City was far too vast to find a little scorned soul nearing the bottom of the bottle. You closed your eyes and just felt the music and the alcohol making you feel weightless, you lifted your hands into your hair to cook the back of your neck as you continued to sway, a stranger’s beer can pressed to the back of it. You smiled at your friends dancing, reaching for the coolers in one of their hands and took a big swig. You could feel the bile at the back of your throat, but you knew you'd been fine if you just kept dancing.
You could still feel hands on you and yet no faces, it wasn't until you turned that you could finally register faces— or well a face.
Daemon stood still amongst the dancing crowd, arms crossed and neck just slightly titled. Silently questioning as to the fuck were you up to.
You didn't stop, looking right at him you kept dancing when the beat dropped stealing the last of your friend’s drink. Hips swaying and still holding your wild hair so you don't overheat, you knew you were playing with fire. What's the worst that could happen? They’d drain you of all blood until there was no life left in you? You’d come to terms with that possibility months ago.
You could feel him nearing, shrugging off the mortal bodies coming in contact with him. You could hear your friends giggling as she reached for your hand and yanked you through the crowd.
“What the fuck were you thinking,” Daemon said, looking very visually irked as he sat comfortably on the hotel couch.
Rhaenyra had barely anything to say but she was angry, you could see it. A conflicted hurt. The rules were clear, they were crystal and you'd broken them.
You scoffed sipping on the glass of water you were forced to drink as you leaned against the bathroom door, still heeled and dizzy. You couldn't digest their discontent when they were ones playing games with you.
“We have very simple rule-”
“Oh fuck your rules!” you cut him off
“It's just bodies isn't it,” you said holding in a hiccup “We are just bodies.”
Rhaenyra opened her mouth but you raised your finger to stop her, stumbling of the bathroom door and walking to the middle of the room.
“How many? How many girls? How many men? I mean fuck!” you shook your head stumbling a bit.
They entertained your outburst, usually you were so placated that this was beyond the unusual.
“Don't you see, you've lived the two of you have each other, have been married for like a forever long time, and me. I'm twenty— human years mortal, simple-bodied.” you tap your head to see if they saw your point.
“I have barely loved, and now that I do—” you hiccup blinking your drunk tears away “its with two blood-sucking—” you stopped yourself laughing.
“I’m just a body to you that you use for fun.” you laugh, mascara tears coating your face.
Rhaenyra finally speaks “that is not true.”
You scoff once more, this time breaking the glass of water you'd been drinking against the bedstand “Turn me then.”
Daemon turned his face, looking out the window and Rhaenyra now stood shaking her head at you.
You could feel the glass imbedded into your palm, you raised the broken shard at her— lil quivering. “Turn me.”
“Turn me.” it sounds like a pathetic prayer.
This time Daemon turned to you, eyes narrowed staring at your bleeding palm, he looked at his wife. He knew this would have come to this conclusion, it always does.
You knew you’d die soon, whether it was to come back as one of them or dead for good. You’d made your peace with it a week before, pouring your heart out in the pages of your journal. Though what were you expecting, that the sex with you was that good that they’d have you around for a life time.
You served one purpose for them, to be their walking blood bag, a toy for them to use and dress as they pleased.
“Turn me.” you said once more.
This time Daemon pushed off the couch, he was in front of you within a blink of an eye, nostrils flared as he grabbed the back of your hair and yanked it back.
“You want to sell your soul that bad? You’d break even before it began sweet girl. The pain of the turn, but sure since you want it that bad.” he bit into the back of his hand and pressed it to your mouth.
The taste of bitter copper filled your mouth, it was true human blood tasted far sweeter, and you’d tasted it on their lips countless times. Your own blood.
“Daemon stop.” Rhaenyra said this time, approaching her husband.
He did not budge, still staring your soul down as he pulled the glass shard from your hand. He didn't hesitate to press it against your carotid artery, the faintest if pressure and he’d dig in. You bleed out and either come out as one of them or a feral— a demon of sorts. They wouldn't take that risk but Daemon was so done for it.
He knew the truth of what he’d compelled away from you, the attack, the threat that somebody was after them— he feared not for him or Rhaenyra but if they found you. He had thought of turning you a thousand times over, and so had Rhaenyra, though the possibility that you may not make the other side. Not many survive the pain, not many come out looking like their mortal bodies but mangled creatures from hell.
However Daemon had snapped, he grew irked from having to hide the truth, from having to pull away. True he had Rhaenyra to come to with his ails but she would sway him otherwise. Rhaenyra battled the guilt of nearly killing you for days, she still does and cannot touch you without remembering her teeth digging into your flesh. You may not remember it, but she had torn you within an inch of your life.
“Daemon we have to let her go.” Rhaenyra urged.
This time your eyes snapped to her and then back to Daemon.
“No turn me.” you urged, this time pushing yourself against the shard of glass “turn me.”
Daemon threw the shard away, shaking his head as he held your shoulders.
“No no, you're not leaving me.” the panic set into your body, death would have been easier. “Just turn me, I can do it.” you hiccuped.
Rhaenyra this time finally touched you, pulling you closer and embracing you, your senses were completely engulfed by her. The way she smelled, her touch, her hair.
You kept mumbling “no” incoherently as she sat you down on the bed.
Her eyes dilated as she shushed you, you looked at Daemon, his stern expression held pain to it if you looked close enough. He leaned against a wall. He knew Rhaenyra had to be the one to do this.
You felt no pain as Rhaenyra pulled the small pieces of glass from your hand, they were already healing because of Daemon’s blood.
“I’m so sorry my love,” she kissed your palms as she sat them back down onto your lap. “It isn't safe anymore.”
“Please don't,” you pouted, more tears flowing down your cheeks. “Don’t leave.”
“You were away on a vacation in the Summer. Isles, you needed a break. You won't remember us, anything about the past six months, it will be as though time stopped and brought you back to reality.” Rhaenyra whispered, kissing your forehead.
“Please.” you cried.
“The pain you feel now will be gone, we will be gone.” her eyes dilated one more as she shuffled your body back into the bed. “Go to sleep.”
Okie and that's a wrap!! I had so much fun writing this chapter, kinda poured my own breakup pain into it. Either way, I can't wait to start writing more!!

Small things about Ed that make me take video game poison damage irl
the fact that he's villainized by everyone for "sneaking" around when we're shown that he grew up in a tiny house with an abusive father who was passed out drunk enough for us to see it in a flashback, making it verly likely that he's getting blamed for a habit that he learned as a child to keep himself safe
the way that, absent external factors, he's just a silly, goofy, funny guy who is very easy to get along with and very charismatic, and he's been made to think he's a monster who is bad with people and inherently dangerous
how he's so desperate for softness - the way that he tenderly lifts the cashmere scarf to his cheek to feel it against his skin lives in my head rent free
how when Pop-Pop tackles him he shouts at the kid to "control your Pop-Pop," like he just assumes it should be the responsibility of a child to control his father's behavior
how he is such an extraordinarily gifted sailor that when he feels something Just Wrong at the start of s2e6 he's standing around looking for stroms, something just so haunting about it. I can just see him standing on their front porch watching the sky and the waves when he gets anxious
how he's been beaten down time and again but he still keeps hoping and trying because he is a much stronger and kinder person than he'll ever know he is

Strong heart, strong body
Welcome to my first time ever writing something on Tumblr.
In this universe Jean is alive because if she dies it would ruin the story that i already made up in my head lol so suck it up and have some imagination.
Here part 2
English is not my first language and oh god i am trying so hard to choose words that aren´t simple or cringey because of my poor fucking english. Any how, please enjoy.
╭──╯ . . . . .╭──╯ . . . . .╭──╯ . . . . .╭──╯ . . . . .╭──╯ . . . . .
You really did loved him. No. More than that, you were obsessed with all of him, admired him, your heart was beating only for him.
At first it was pure admiration, he was strong and even though sometimes he was too grumpy and stuborn, he cared, he cared for Rouge, Strom, Charles even Scott (he probably will never admit it) and he cared the most for Jean. Oh boy how much he cared for her, the first time he saw her was like love at first sight for him, he didn´t give a shit that she was with Eric, he didn´t care about trying to flirt with her in front of her boyfriend, he was so submerged in all of Jean´s existance.
But as some time went by, you and Logan started getting along, at first you were only teammates, working together at training your students, but you grew fond of each other, spending time together alone, having really private conversations and emotional talks every night.
Damn he sometimes would even put his arm around you, kiss the top of your head and even gave you compliments, ( they were kind of suggestive too your liking but a compliment at the end of the day) he was just so touchy with you, you wanted to just melt in his hands and live as a melted being so he could take care of you.
¨Aye¨ his voice made you react, you were out in the balcony watching the sky, it was already kind of late and windy but it felt so fresh that you stayed maybe too long out.
¨You scared me¨ he walked next to you, he had the grey hoodie he took the first time he met the Professor. ¨Sorry kid¨ He still referring to you as kid, yeah you were younger than him but you were a grown woman and a teacher, so that nickname gives you a weird feeling since you were a bit too old to be called kid. ¨Just because you are more tha a hundred yeard older than me doesn´t mean im still a kid¨ He chuckled a bit ¨Well, can´t help it, i have a right to call everyone kid¨ You raised one eyebrow ¨Even the Professor?¨ He paused for like two seconds and look at the sky ¨Maybe not him¨
You stared at his profile, the wind hitting his hair and he just looked so ugh so beautiful and hot, he had his hoodie a little bit unzipped so you could see a bit of his chest. His musuclar chest.
¨You are going to drill a hole if you stare that intense¨You swear you were discreet enough, you felt a little embarrassed but there was no point in denying it. ¨You look like a whore, can´t help it¨
He raised his eyebrow and contained a smile ¨Look who is talking¨ you placed your hand in your heart faking an offended tone ¨Excuse you? i dress properly in every situation while most of the time you have your chest naked for everyone to see¨ He stared at you ¨I only see you looking¨
You were looking at each other eyes, too much for your liking and you start to feel your face hot, was he always this close? you felt this he was standing really close to you, too close to your embarrassed and stupid in love face.
¨I guess i just don´t know how to hide it¨ You were talking about the looks you give him, but you know it also meant you could´t hide your feelings very well.
He wrapped his arm around your shoulder and pulled you close to him to his side. You rested your head on his shoulder, enjoying the breeze on your face and his hand caressing your arm.
Oh god his hands, big and strong, masculine and long. His hand caressed your shoulder and then travel to your arm, the tip of his fingers made you had goosebumps, you breathe staring to change a bit in rhythm. His finger travel to the side of your neck to caress it. You felt your heart about to explore, this felt to erotic and personal, it was kinda funny ( or pathetic) how just the touch of his fingers could make you feel.
His placed his hand in your chin to make you look at him but before he could you moved your head to avoid it. Having him touch you is one thing but looking at him was different, you didn´t want him to see your ready-to-explode face, what if he notices? If he founds out how you actually think about him?
Getting rejected was NOT going to happen, you preferred a bullet, one in your heart and another one through your brain.
¨Look at me¨ No.
You didn´t know what to do, what to say. Fuck! your face was still burning up and your stomcah felt like throwing up a million of dead butterflies.
You decided to look at him, if he questions something about your face or your actions you would just lie or throw yourself through the balcony in hopes to die.
Your eyes met and you felt you whole body, even your hands and legs burning up, he was so close to your face, his eyes so intensely watching you, looking at your lips and eyes.
¨Do you hate this¨ You didn´t exactly understand what he meant ¨Hate what?¨ His hand travel to you lower back to pull you closer to him, both chest pressed to each other ¨This¨
You were 100% going to throw up any second in that man´s beautiful face.
¨No, not at all¨
His other hand cup your cheek and you let yourself enjoy his touch, his hands were big and strong, you could feel it.
His thumb touching your lower lip, guiding you to open your mouth a litte bit. He got closer, just milimiters from your face, he stuck out his tongue to lick your lower lip. Fuck.
¨You know that if you want me to stop, just say it and i will¨ You nodded but that was never going to happen.
You cupped your hands to his face and pulled him closes to finally kiss. He pressed you closer to him, his hands on your back with a strong hold on you so you can´t separate from him. So you don´t go away.
You could feel how desperate the kiss was, his tongue licking your lips and then entering your mouth again and again. You were getting so weak, so consumed by lust, your brain was off, not a single thought, just the feeling of Logan´s hands on your waist, your neck, on your ass, breast, back, he was feeling all of you. His vocie would grunt from time to time, his deep voice just giving you hints showing how much he was enjoying having you. Feeling you.
How much time has passed? For how long have you been kissing? 5 minutes? 10? Just pure kissing and touching each other frantically was enough to make all your sensitive spots hurt, palpitate for some kind of relief. For him.
Finally your brain turned on, where you going to have sex? Was this going to escalate more? Would he like it?
You started getting nervous, scared by the idea that what would happen if he doesn´t like it, if he stops kisssing you and to each their own just going to your respective rooms.
What if this was the last time this was going to happen? He maybe just wanted some relief. Oh god, maybe just because he couldn´t have Jean he went for someone who would give in.
Logan pulled away, a tiny string of saliva connected both of your mouths for a second.
¨Let´s go¨
Fuck it. You didn´t care if he was using you, either if it was because he just needed some kind of relief or because Jean wasn´t available, you really desired this, you needed this and you would have it, it this was the last time you could have him then you would make a hell of a time out of this.
It was dark and already late, so both of you stayed silently walking to his room holding hands to prevent any students waking up.

When you got the notification you were going back to Top Gun you were thrilled but then that died when you had to tell your boyfriend of 2 years, Tony. You were terrified. He was not the best and only turned worse when it came to drinking. When he would hit you he would immediately apologize but then turn around a second later and do it again. You tried to leave, you really did, but each time you would go back to him thinking nobody else would love you the way he does. You are a Naval Aviator, one of the best ones.
You had been through the academy with Jake Seresin and Javy Machado and they both were and still are your best friends. They didn't like your boyfriend, whom you had gotten together with your senior year of being at the academy. They expressed their concerns to you about him but you just brushed it off. Tony had been fine while you were going to school but the second you graduated he demanded you to move in and you did and each time you had to be stationed at a different base, he would get mad and take it out on you but moved anway thankfully you had bought this house, then again you always buy the houses and use your money, never his. The three of you were fortunate enough to be stationed each time with you.
You knew Tony had been sleeping around while you were on deployments but you just let it pass. You were too scared to leave. When you were on deployments it was a very nice break for you and you loved it. You loved the freedom but knew the second you were back it would just start back up. You in way shape or form loved him but you couldn't leave. He didn't want you hanging out with your fellow squad members so they barely knew you. You didn't have any friends. He wanted you close and if you did go out you had to watch him flirt with other women. He had made you call him every hour on the hour or text him, if you were even a minute late he would yell at you.
When you had to go to work you would apply a lot of makeup to cover the bruises, the fresh cuts you had. When he did attack you, you would barely get enough sleep or just end up passing out on the floor. Jake and Javy knew what was yo and they'd tried to get you to leave him but you just couldn't. Tony hated it when you hung out with them always accusing you of cheating and then punishing you. You tried to fight for your freedom you really did.
When you arrived at Top Gun you greeted Jake and Javy with a hug. "Strom. Good to see you. You still with that shitty boyfriend?" Jake had asked and you kept quiet which gave them the answer.
"You have to leave him." Javy said "He's not good for you." He continued.
"I know." You told them and this got Jake mad.
"You call me or Javy if you need to ok?" He asked and you nodded. The others started to show and you had a great time and got to know them. Until your phone buzzed. It was a text from Tony.
"Everything ok?" Javy asked worriedly seeing the look on your face.
"Yea. I just have to go." You said and started to rush out with Jake hollering after you.
When you arrive home you parked your car and got out. When you walked in Tony was standing there looking pissed you looked around and saw he had been drinking. "You're late." He said.
"I'm sorry. I was meeting my new squad members." You said looking down.
"I don't care. You made me miss dinner." He said and stormed over and hit you knocking you into the fridge. Luckily you weren't wearing your khaki uniform. He grabbed you and in the process hit you and pushed you down. He kicked you numerous times and said things but you just blacked out. When you saw him walking away and grabbing his car keys and leaving you tried to move but couldn't it was too much pain. So you just passed out on the floor.
——————————————————————
The next morning you woke up and cleaned the kitchen and then got ready for work. Tony was nowhere in site probably went to the bar hooked up with some girl and slept with her.
When Maverick demanded that everyone meet down at the beach you were hesitant but it was mandatory. When you got there you refused to take your top off so it was just you and Bob with your shirts on. Nobody cared but Jake and Javy knew and frowned Tony had you so afraid and so beaten up that you didn't want to show it.
You had a lot of fun and didn't want it to end but you had to go home. You were regretting it but decided to face it. When you got home he wasn't there so you went and took a shower. When you got out he was home and demanded to know where you were and when you told him and that you called him and he didn't answer he got mad and punched you in the ribs and then slammed you into the wall and pushed you down and kicked you in the stomach and the ribs.
——————————————————————
When you arrived at work you were moving slowly but straightened up to not let anyone know. Training went by with a breeze. When you were up in the air it was like you had your freedom and Tony couldn't get to you. You never wanted it to end but knew it had to and you had to go back to him.
Training came and went and when Javy went into gloc and Bob and Natasha went through a bridstrike, you had stayed at the hospital with them. You told Tony this but he didn't care and when you got home just a few hours later he had started to hit you and punched you in the face making your nose bleed.
——————————————————————
When it came time for the mission you told him you were going. You were greatful to be away from him. There wasn't much downtime while on the aircraft but there was enough for you to bond with your fellow squad members. You all were sitting in the lounge before lights out and began talking about relationships. When it came to you tensed up.
"So Y/N you got someone waiting for you back at home?" It was Natasha who had said this. You tensed up and everyone saw it.
"I do. His name is Tony." You said and then Jake cut in.
"He's a dick and should be put in jail." Jake said and everyone was shocked.
"Jake." You began
"No, it's the truth. The way he treats you and all the times you have come crying to me and Javy. He should've been locked up a long time ago and I should've done something about." He said and before you could cut in Javy did.
"He's right Y/N/N you don't deserve this." He said and you broke out crying. You knew they were right. Now everyone knew what a piece of shit he was.
"If you ever need us and I mean ever. We are here for you." Bradley said and brought you into a hug that you didn't know you needed until then. Everyone made that promise, you never knew you needed them until now.
The mission came and went there were a few hiccups along the way but everyone was back safely. Now you were returning home.
——————————————————————
When you got back onto land all your cuts and bruises were healed and you were ready for a bed. You really didn't want to go back home that night and you voiced this to your fellow squad members. Jake and Javy being your best friends said you could bunk with them since they were roommates. You happily agreed.
When you got to their place Jake had let you take his bed and he took the couch. "You don't have to do that. I'm perfectly fine with the couch." You told him watching him put a pillow and a blanket on there. He stopped and you looked at you.
"There is no way in hell I would allow you to take the couch." He said just as Javy walked in freshly showered.
"What's going on?" He asked
"She's insisting on taking the couch." Jake told him and Javy looked at you in disbelief.
"Yeah, not happening. You're taking Jake's bed and you're getting s good night's sleep." He said and you knew you were outnumbered so you all went to bed and you had the best sleep since you've been with Tony.
Morning rolled around and you woke up to the smell of pancakes. You were smiling until you forgot to text Tony to let him know what you were doing and started panicking. You rushed out.
"Morning Storm." Jake said flipping some pancakes. He looked up and saw you panicking he abandoned the food to Javy and walked over to you. "What's wrong?" He asked.
"I didn't text Tony." You said and Jake sighed.
"Just leave him." He said and you shook your head.
"I can't." You said and he hung his head and then looked up at you.
"Eat and then if you want to go home you can." He said and you nodded and that is what you did. When you were done you bid them goodbye and got ready to face Tony.
——————————————————————
When you arrived home you parked and walked in. It was quiet except for the TV playing. You walked in and saw Tony sitting there. "Hey, Tony." You said and cringed at your shaky voice. He turned around with a scowl on his face.
"About time you got home." He said and stood up and you flinched and he smirked proudly.
"I was tired and Jake and Javy lived the closest to the dock." You said and yelped out when he grabbed you by the hair and yanked back.
"You were fucking them weren't you?" He asked.
"No. They're like my brothers." You said and he slammed your head into the wall.
"Bullshit." He said and yanked you away and hit you. He grabbed you by the throat and started to choke you. You clawed at his hands and left scratches on him. He let you go and you gasped for breath. You knew you were going to have fresh wounds. "You're a bitch." He said while you received another blow. He kept throwing insults each time he hit you. He finally stopped when he punched you in the eye. He then pushed you into the wall and you slid down the wall. Tony left the rest of the day.
——————————————————————
When you woke up the next morning you got ready for work and today was if you find out if you were an official squad. You went to the bathroom and saw that you had already had marks and your eye was turning black. You covered them up and got dressed and drove to base.
When you walked in you met with the others and chatted with them. Jake was staring at you but you didn't say anything. You all were called into the conference room and sat down.
"We were impressed with how you all managed the mission well. We have decided to make the Dagger Squad an actual squadron." Cyclone said.
"Maverick will be your Squadron Commander." Warlock said
Everyone cheered but you stayed quiet and then everyone quieted down.
"Since we just got back. We've decided to also give you the weekend off." Warlock said
"You're dismissed." Cyclone said and they walked out of the room.
"We're going to The Hard Deck later to celebrate." Mickey announced and everyone agreed and so did you.
When you got home Tony was still gone. That gave you enough time to relax. You were getting ready for tonight and he had yet to show up. Which was totally fine with you. You texted Tony where you were going and you headed out making sure your makeup was touched up.
——————————————————————
When you got to The Hard Deck you found the group and greeted them all. Maverick was even there. You ordered a drink and tried to enjoy the night but you just had feeling. Everyone was chatting but you kept to yourself sitting next to Bob which was unusual. "Hey, are you ok?" Bob asked and you nodded and he turned to you. What you didn't know was Jake was watching you all night.
"I'm fine." You said smiling at him. Everyone had noticed you had been quiet. You were getting hot so you removed your hoodie which was covering the strangulation marks and in the process that had took the makeup off your eye.
"Storm." Maverick said and you looked up at him confused.
"What's up?" You asked and Natasha pulled out a mirror and gave it to you. "Oh." You said.
"Who did this to you?" Maverick asked
"My boyfriend, Tony." You said quietly. Just then the front door bell rang and you turned around and froze.
"Y/N?" Javy asked and he turned to see what you were looking at and froze. "Jake." He said and he looked over.
"Oh hell no." He said as he saw Tony walking over to you.
Tony had his eye set on you. "You bitch." He said as he was storming up to you but Jake stood in your way. Everyone in the bar had grown quiet and looking. He tried to reach for you but Jake stepped in front of him each time. "We're going home." He said.
"No." You said and he grew into a rage.
"No? You don't tell me no." He said and somehow pushed past Jake and slapped you everyone saw it and some even jumped up ready to defend you. You fell into Bob who caught you. Jake and the others grabbed him and dragged him away from you.
Javy threw the first punch and Tony tried to fight back but he didn't know what he was going up against. Maverick, Penny, Bob, and Natasha were sitting with you. While Jake, Javy, Mickey, and Bradley took care of Tony.
"Oh, Honey. It's ok." Penny said as you began crying. "I'll be right back." She said and you nodded. The bell rang and she pointed to Tony and everyone cheered.
"I'm supposed to be an aviator, but look at me now. Crying over something I should've ended years ago." You said as Maverick held you and Natasha wiped your tears.
"You're safe now." Bob said as he helped out. Penny came back with ice and put it on your eye. The fight had been taken outside when you heard sirens. Police came in and took your statement and pictures and then left. They had asked if you wanted to press charges and you said yes along with a restraining order.
When everyone came back in they circled you and comforted you. You were finally free of that man. The house was yours the furniture was yours. He was homeless and in jail. You were finally free and with your family. They fought for freedom for you and they won.
