Omg yeah, subject line and the concerning extracurriculars cashton are endgame for me as well (in my mind they’re the same people, dont know if they are in your mind as well, but i love them)

They’re the main guys I’ve written that I know for sure stick it through to the end. I know they make it. And they are kind of the same guys!! I wrote CE cashton first and then that fic inspired me to write Subject Line. Ofc there are some inconsistencies between the two fics that make them kind of impossible to be set in the same universe but,,, I pretty much think they’re the same guys too. That’s why Brian’s bitchass shows up in both fics :)

no but because kyo and tohru never fail to make me cry because the thing is, like yes they are perfect for each other, but they are perfect for each other by choice. it is hard for kyo to tamp down on his defensive aggression, but he does, for tohru, because he loves her and wants to be there for her. it is hard for tohru to ask for what she wants and to be truly vulnerable, but she does that with kyo because she loves him and he needs that from her, that trust. like yeah they are perfectly dumb in that same silly way, yeah they are both endlessly endeared by the other, and yeah they have some cosmic connection, but none of that would matter, none of that would come to anything, if they didn’t both make the active effort to change and to love each other in the way they needed.

I canttt with the people on twitter who say polin has no build up. they had two seasons before this one!!! also bridgerton is a show where couples get together fast! it’s only 8 episodes a season! no shade to the other couples but if you wrote it out, both prior lead couples fundamentally had like 2 weeks and a couple times hanging out before they were risking it all. and in their society, marriage IS fast. for godsake, people start pressuring simon and daphne to get engaged the day after the ball where they first dance! anthony starts talking about proposing to edwina in like episode 2. you don’t have to like polin, it’s fine, but I can’t see another post going “it makes no sense because he didn’t want to date her then they kiss and now he does?” yes that’s the point!!!! he didn’t realize the true depth of his feelings that’s the POINT. need that clip of claudia going it’s FRIENDS to LOVERS, just say you don’t like them and move onnnnnnn it’s not that deep
