aa i don't usually do asks but could u do 68 with alastor? tysm for considering!! feel free to ignore or delete
prompt: "kneel."
a/n: finding out alastor is 7ft tall isn't helping me lose my mind any less. ty anon 🩷 requests open!
alastor loved to push people's buttons, loved to get a reaction out of everyone. he was efficient in finding out just what made someone tick within a few interactions. what he noticed about you was that you hated being told what to do. now, what alastor found equally funny is that you actually loved being told what to do. especially when you were told to do anything for him.
oh, he was going to have fun with this new information.
he sent for you to meet him in the broadcast tower quite a bit earlier than usual, but you assumed maybe he needed some help setting up and, of course, showed up even earlier than expected. alastor spins around in his chair when you enter, a smirk already tugging at his smile. "ahh, there's my good girl." he coos, his voice making your blood heat in a way you convince yourself is anger.
"ugh, fuck off. you refuse to text so i always assume you send early for me because of something important." you grumble, watching his eye twitch at the mention of your cellular device. the room seems to get colder as alastor stands, taking slow steps towards you. the look in his eyes is almost sinister, and his smile unnerves you.
he places a finger under your chin and forces your gaze up to meet his. "watch that mouth of yours, my dear." there's a low, threatening tone in his words and it makes you want to bite back but as soon as you open your mouth to tell him off, he's reaching around for a fistful of your hair and tugging your head back.
his mouth finds your ear, warm breath ghosting over your skin. you can't control the way your body shakes, a shuddering pant leaving your lips. you're not sure if its arousal or fear, to be honest. but then, alastor breaks out into a grin.
"kneel."
your eyes widen, and your breath catches in your throat. heat pools low in your stomach, as well as adrenaline. he's got you, and he knows it. your knees shake with desire to drop, to do anything this man tells you, and when you slowly start to lower yourself, alastor laughs. "now see?" he smirks, his fingers running through your hair as you descend. "i know you're my good girl. it can be our little secret." he hums, petting your head as you kneel at his feet.
"you can continue to be a brazen little brat to everyone else, but you and i both know this is who you really want to be." you look up, seeing alastor towering over you and you bite your lip to silence yourself. the primal urge to obey courses through you, making your hands shake with desire. "now, are you going to continue to mouth off or put that mouth to good use?" he snickers when your eyes darken. "you'll be rewarded for your good behavior, don't you worry."

I noticed that you reposted something that is along the lines of proship
I agree with leaving media alone but I think its incredibly disgusting when people ship, for example siblings, because what it feels to me is that they have an incest fetish or something
I know just because someone writes about murder doesnt mean they support it, and I believe that. but usually when people write about murder it's in a negative context, obviously showing how it is so incomprehensible to outsiders about how someone could do that, or showing how we need to get these people help.
trying to apply this to, for example, incest, if someone ships an incestuous relationship then it seems like it would be in a good context, and it seems like they support it should it be in real life. that's how I view this all. (itd be different if they shipped siblings as a strange headcanon and talking about how it's bad... this reasoning I can understand the most to the point where I can let myself ignore it)
how am I supposed to learn to not care? especially when they are really outward about it?
okay.
I do not participate in shipping discourse because I do not participate in shipping. I'm not really In Fandom anymore like, generally. I don't... care.
Because of this I had literally no idea what you were referring to in this ask. I had to scroll. So far back. To get to this post, which also doesn't refer to shipping discourse.
I also have not talked about incest here, and the post in question doesn't talk about incest.
It's about murder. And gore. Which you say here is fine.
Literally why did you send me this ask.
And like... there's a fair chance this is just bait, and there's also enough of a chance that you're genuinely asking that, like, fuck it. I'm gonna get shit no matter what I do, so I may as well try to do a little good.
You use the words "feels" and "seems" a lot in this ask. And I'm really glad you did, actually, because I think it's honest; you're operating on your feelings and assumptions, and that's really important to keep in mind.
And your feelings on this are valid! It's normal to be uncomfortable with certain content, and it's normal to not want to see or engage in it. You don't need to feel any differently about those things. You don't have to consume incestuous content, you don't have to be okay with it, and you don't have to be around it.
But ask yourself: you assume that other people engaging in this content means they support it in real life, but what if they don't? What if you're wrong?
Maybe they're saying it's wrong in a way you're just not picking up on, or that you don't recognize. Maybe they aren't saying it's wrong; maybe it's in the context. Maybe it's in a genre trope in a genre you're not familiar with. Maybe it's irony or satire that you aren't picking up on. Maybe they aren't saying it at all, but that's still what they think, and they just chose not to put it in that content for... who knows what reason. Maybe they're literally just bad at writing.
What then?
Sometimes you're going to feel or assume that something is going on, and you're just gonna be wrong. And you could ask who's fault that is- did you fail to pick up on something you should have been able to, or did they fail to communicate it well enough?- but like, what are you going to do with that information?
Sometimes people are not very good at literary analysis, and sometimes people are not very good at writing, and that's just part of learning. Do we tell everyone not to attempt to talk about certain topics unless they're "good enough" to do it "right"? How do we know when someone's "good enough", and how do they get to that point without practice? Do we just ban those topics altogether? What topics do we ban- where's the line? How do we enforce it? How do we prevent that from being weaponized against marginalized people?
Anon, you asked me how you can "not care" about these things existing. And I think that's a valid question; you feel there is injustice, and you want to stop it. That can be a very noble impulse, and it can be harnessed for a lot of good.
But it can also be really, really toxic- not just to the people you hurt because you act on assumptions and impulses that are incorrect, but to yourself. You can't control everything. You can't control how other people feel, whether or how they engage in certain topics, or what they do or say. You just can't. And trying, or wanting to try, or thinking you should try- it's going to drive you nuts.
So here's how not to care:
Remind yourself that you might be wrong. Take a moment to think about all the things you don't know for certain, and the things you would need to know to be absolutely, 100% sure that you're right.
Consider how important this is to you. How close is this person to you? How important is this issue? What would it feel like to let this go- would it continue to impact you? Do you have other options? (removing yourself from the situation, blocking tags/posts/people, etc.)
Consider what you can do, and what you should do. Think about the tools at your disposal, the power you have in this situation, and how likely this person is to listen to you. Think about whether those tools are ethical. Again, what if you're wrong? Is there any reason you might regret your actions?
If you still feel like it's worth addressing, start by asking questions. Make sure you really know what's going on, and if (and when) the situation changes with new information, walk through this process again. Repeat back what you believe is happening until they confirm that you're right, decide again whether this is worth it, and then proceed.
Sometimes it's more effective to just vent to someone else, or to make a post about the issue generally without confronting that person- especially considering your assumptions might be wrong! Maybe it's worth it to talk about what you thought was happening, but you don't know that what you thought was happening is what was actually happening. You can still talk about it, just, y'know, without making it an attack on someone else.
And again, I don't give a shit about fandom discourse. This is important to me because these are themes that crop up in regular-ass media all the time, and disagreements that crop up in regular-ass relationships with friends and family and loved ones. I think it's important that people have the skills to navigate disagreements, unintentional harm, and perceived slights in healthy, productive ways.
You can't live your whole life demanding that everyone agree with you on everything, or blaming other people for everything you misinterpret or assume incorrectly. You cannot assume that everything that hurts you was designed to hurt you. You can recognize that these are assumptions and feelings, and that's great! And I hope you're being honest when you say that you want to learn to let things go.

You can't just make up an AGAB. You weren't 'assigned puppy at birth', why are you mocking the language/acronyms used by intersex people to discuss intersexist oppression? Do you just hate us? Do you think our struggles are a joke? That these acronyms we use to convey the way we were abused and forced into a violent binary are just cute little labels for you to play with? These aren't like genders, xenogenders, literally fine. I'm xenogender. But I'm also intersex and I recognize that AGAB terms are important in discussing how we are harmed by the world around us. Please stop mocking our language.
neo agabs are a microlabel that were created in order to reject agab binaries and remind people that they're 1.) not entitled to tell everyone what genitals they have ( which, telling people your agab doesn't do in the first place ) and 2.) that agabs are a harmful binary that the medical system sorts us into. if you're going to be upset about the usage / coining of neo agab terms, then why only attack me instead of everyone else who uses them? i know multiple intersex people who are fine with the usage & coining of neo agabs, which is why i continue to use them and coin them for myself. there is also a very high chance that i'm intersex myself, anon; i say i'm perisex because i literally cannot talk to my doctors about it without putting myself in danger due to my family situation.
i am aware afab / amab were created by intersex people, but i wasn't totally aware of that 5 MONTHS AGO. WHEN I MADE THE FLAG. i was also told by an intersex person at the time that making the flag would be fine, which was why it got loaded into my queue in the first place.
i'm not trying to erase nor talk over intersex voices. if you worded this nicely to inform me of everything, it would be fine and i would post it with new information for people to know. the assumption that i made apuab in bad faith is also like, seriously? to assume i made apuab because i thought it was a "silly little label"? i made it because of how i view myself and my physical body due to trauma; i shouldn't have to clarify or justify why the fuck i identify as it because you assume i'm using it in bad faith.
i am not personally holding the intersex community back and yelling "no!!! stop talking about your oppression!!!! stop using my silly terms to talk abour your oppression!!!!" i know what it's like to have my language taken and told it's not significant or that it shouldn't be used. i want to use my platform to uplift everyone's voices, and by being an asshole when you're trying to "inform me" you're not doing jackshit.
if you're going to be an asshole when "informing me" about anything, don't send a fucking ask at all.
#︵︵﹒ @rwuffles | ⚣#︵︵﹒ talking | ⚣#︵︵﹒ mail | ⚣#︵︵﹒ @anon | ⚣#i'm still going to talk 2 my intersex friends and make sure that they're fine with this language because if they think it's fine idc#i like woke up just now so if this is like incoherent i'm sorry

Hi there! I hope you're having a great day! I want to ask you a question... or more like a suggestion. I had asked the same thing several weeks ago, so I assume you missed it. But if you don't want to answer is, that's okay! 😄
My question is simple. What do you think SDV / SVE (including the mages and adventurers) bachelor and bachelorette would reach upon knowing that the farmer, whom had a quiet, soft and gentle personality, is actually a seasoned fighter in an underground boxing match (and a really good one, at that!)?
Thank you very much for your attention! 💕
Don't worry, dear anon, I saw your previous ask! I was just busy and couldn't answer earlier (will write it here so I don't have to answer twice). Thanks for your ask! And enjoy! 💕
_________________________________________
SDV/SVE bachelors:
Gus had recently purchased a strength meter for his arcade corner, and Farmer had fallen in love with the machine, constantly spending their coins. And putting Elliott, who caught those moments, in complete shock. When the newcomer first came to town, they appeared to the writer as a kind and quiet-seeking person. Having learnt for their background, he would like to write about their biography.
So, all those rumours about an underground bare-knuckle champion who knocked out big guys with one punch - is Shane's tender spouse crying about a dried rose? Holy shit... He's totally shocked (and pleasantly surprised, for wow, his spouse is awesome. Why didn't they say this before?).
Alex spent the whole time defending Farmer from the overly annoying newcomers, thinking they were too shy and kind to be rude to anyone. And it turns out that not only can they stand up for themself, but they can send huge muscular fighters staring into the realm of dreams with one punch. The athlete will be surprised for sure. How? When?
Is that true? Is it really true? Farmer really is a boxing fighter, and a champion too?! That's so cool! Um... Sam wonders if his friend/spouse should mention this to his mom at a dinner (much less his dad). These fights aren't too legal after all... However, it's up to Farmer to decide if they'll talk about it or not. Either way, Farmer is an incredible and cool person. He certainly didn't expect this from them.
Poor Harvey didn't even have time to react to Farmer being bullied by some assholes from the big city before Farmer sent them all straight to his clinic. While the doctor was bringing them to their senses (and writing a complaint against them for bullying the locals), he wondered how Farmer, the kindest and calmest person, knew such hand-to-hand combat techniques. Underground fighting was the very last option doctor could think of.
One, two, three - and Farmer dealt with three drunken bullies who started harassing the locals and imposing their company. Everyone was in complete shock. Sebastian, meanwhile, freaking delighted with them. The stories of their nightly fights underground for the title of best boxer, in Sebby's opinion, added another coin to the Farmer's piggy bank of awesomeness.
Lance's guesses were correct - Farmer's behaviour in the fight with the monsters made it clear at once that they had to engage and defend themself often. The adventurer had never seen anyone previously beat a magma sprite with their fists alone. Lance is pleasantly surprised and delighted by his mysterious friend. But just in case, it's best to carry a sword.
Victor starts showering his friend/spouse with a whole bunch of questions right after Farmer decides to share their past. How did it happen? Did Farmer become a fighter because they wanted the title, or were there other reasons? Do they still fight to this day? Pardon him, but he's very interesting. Farmer certainly doesn't seem like the type of person who would pursue a top fighter title with blood on their fists.
The truth is, Magnus knew about Farmer's underground fighting. Well, not really, for his crystal ball only showed vague information about their past. Hm? Of course a Wizard can see the past, that fancy hat's not for show, you know. Though he wonders how a fighter like them changed their occupation 180 degrees and became first an office clerk and then a farmer.
SDV/SVE bachelorettes:
Penny learnt all about Farmer's past after they defended her from some cheeky Joja driver by fist-bumping him in the face. The teacher never expected Farmer to do such a thing, though she is grateful for their help. When asked casually where they learnt to fight, she got an even answer, which left her even more astonished.
Funny enough, when Farmer opened up to Emily about their constant nightly fights at the fight club, Emily felt proud of him. Pride because while they are strong, they treat those around them with kindness and patience. A bright aura radiates from them, and the new information about Emily's friend wouldn't make her change her attitude towards them for the worse somehow.
Maru hasn't heard much about these illegal fights in Zuzu City, but the title "Destroyer" speaks for itself. And Farmer has quite an interesting past, and she wouldn't mind hearing about it. The young inventor just hopes that all those titles and honours don't interfere in any way with her friend/spouse's job as a farmer, which they enjoy.
To Abigail, Farmer has become the most brutal and badass person on the planet. She knows about these fights! (Mostly just a gossip, not the actual fights). And the fact that it was Farmer who was the rumoured champion of underground fights made the purple-haired girl ecstatic. Man, it's a shame she can't brag to others about her friend/lover, as she doesn't want to get Farmer in trouble with the law.
"I never would have guessed, honestly. You don't look too athletic." Don't take Haley's words harshly, she didn't mean to offend Farmer. It's just that they really do look very unthreatening, so this information was a bit of a shock to her. Well, the girl now knows for sure that if she gets harassed, she can always ask her friend for help. Though she also doesn't want Farmer to be hurt either (she knows they're strong, but still).
This explains the fact that Farmer so easily knocked out Leah's ex when she and Farmer were on a date (even though Kel has always been weak). After Farmer shared about their past, she's naturally shocked, but the shock quickly changed to a look of adoration. A strong and resilient fighter who is the kindest and most ineterest person.... It is impossible not to fall in love with Farmer.
Claire was a bit taken aback by this information, because when she came to Zuzu City for some business, there were always some big guys standing near the underground, throwing dirty compliments and saying that they were "masters of boxing", so Claire "should definitely go with them". So the impression she had formed of such people was not a very good one. Farmer, on the other hand, is the gentlest and most sympathetic person, so it's a bit of a pattern breaker for her.
"I hope you don't have a list of detractors behind you." Sounds a little harsh from Olivia's lips, undeniably, but on the other hand, these things should be talked about beforehand. The former Joja accountant quizzes them about their fights and whether they "crossed anyone's path with their victories." Olivia isn't stupid, she knows what the consequences could be and doesn't want Farmer, her and her son to get hurt.
Sophia felt like she was behind a stone wall with Farmer earlier, and now that they've shared their stories about the club and their involvement, she's not afraid of anything at all. And most importantly, despite all those rumours of a tough and undefeated ring champion, Farmer remains the same kindhearted and cinnamon bun they've always been, hee hee!
Castle Village's mages and adventurers:
Hmm, Farmer has had some physical training before.... Alright, Isaac will be less suspicious of them. But still, fist fights aren't enough for the battle with monsters. Even pathetic green slimes can be a problem in this situation without any sword or dagger. They need practice with cold weapons as well.
Wow, Alesia didn't expect that the newest Guild member in Stardew Valley had entire titles in fist fighting behind them. Especially from someone she considered a pacifist and non-confrontational person. Strange why it wasn't listed anywhere on their report for them. While it's not "official" training on an adventurer, everyone's file should list all of their merits.
Secret underground fights for the Ultimate Fighting Championship title? *Chuckle* Why on earth would Farmer think it was a secret to Camilla? Oh, that's right, she's already learnt a lot about them, and their past... intrigues her. That explained their good physical fitness, despite their rather harmless appearance. Please tell her more about this battles~
Not to say that Jadu was much interested in Farmer's past, as they didn't know each other too well. But the rumour that Farmer had managed to learn how to fight in their rather young life inspires respect. The Castle Village mage thinks they had a reason to get into illegal fights, so he'll leave his questions at that. But wouldn't mind listening if Farmer is willing to tell their story.

Hey Raven! Hope you're doing well, and I hope you had a great holiday, if you celebrate, that is.
I hate to clutter your ask box with something like this, and you don’t have to answer, you can just read this with an open mind, but I feel you're the only one I could go to with this without being straight-up attacked. It's also why I'm asking anonymously.
But, what's your stance on the whole war between the JP and EN versions of the game? I'm not asking you to pick a side or anything, I just wanna know your thoughts.
Obviously, I'm an EN player, and idk if you seen, but there's some hateful things out there about us, and honestly, it's hurtful and disheartening to every time I get up here. And it's always on this we as players can't control. Mainly the dialog translations and it's changes.
I've seen people calling us dumb and weak, saying we water down everything because we can't take it, etc. I've seen people saying we don't know how to really correctly and analyze characters and that we're not even playing the same game. They say we've ruined the game, the fandom, and that they wished it was never localized. I've also seen quite horrible things, but I don’t wanna repeat the things said, but yeah.
And the kicker is, it's only the JP side I've seen post this stuff. I've seen more hate come from that side more than anything, and of course not all, like you. You're my fave btw.
So yeah, thoughts?
Hello, hello! ^^ I’m not really a super big celebration person but I’m hunkering down for a cozy hibernation this winter ❄️ I hope everyone had/will have a good 2023 holiday season~
Before I provide my response to the question posed in this ask, I want to make sure we're all on the same page for this discussion first:
Please be advised that my perspective is coming from that of someone who started off playing JP in March 2020 and then picked up EN when it came out in January 2022. I have played on both servers since their initial launches.
When I refer to TWST JP and EN fans in this post, I am only referring to the English speaking fans (as in, English speaking fans who play JP and English speaking fans who play EN).
For the sake of simplicity, I will be disregarding “hybrid” fans (English speaking fans who play both JP and EN) as a separate category and will lump them in with “JP” fans (English speaking fans who play JP). This is because I assume most mixed fans started off with JP and then adopted EN later on.
I am not talking about ALL English-speaking JP and/or EN fans here; I am only talking about the ones Anon described in their ask.
As the Anon said, I ask that you go into this post with an open mind; do not assume that I will bash JP and/or EN, take sides, defend or condone toxic attitudes, or that this post exists just to “stir the pot”. That is not the purpose of my response. The purpose is to have a meaningful and constructive discussion about TWST’s fandom culture, particularly as it pertains to English-speaking fans. I hope that in talking about this, we can better understand “the other side” (however you may personally define that) and work toward making the fandom space more welcoming for all.
Please read the entire post and think about your own choice of words before commenting and/or sending in an ask about this topic, should you choose to.
To the Anon that submitted this ask and to anyone else that plays EN and may have had similar thoughts: I’m sorry to hear about the negative experiences you’ve had in the TWST fandom. I hope that this post brings you some peace of mind, if not at least some catharsis for what you may be feeling.
Firstly, it’s important to understand the mindset of both JP and EN fans. As such, I will delve into the background and the development of each side. It is NOT meant to justify either side, but rather to inform you on how each perspective originated and grew to what it is today.
The animosity and opposition to an official English version of TWST has been present for a while. An English version of TWST has always been contentious, even long before the localization was announced. Some wanted it to happen for accessibility reasons (as some people find it tedious to hunt for translations) or were supportive of the idea because it means a larger fanbase and thus more potential to make friends or to discuss the game. Others were more apprehensive of the quality of a localization (as much tends to be cut or censored to make the content more palatable) and/or claimed that expanding the fanbase in such a way would bring in more “bad apples”.
When EN first came out, it did, in fact, expand the fanbase. However, many were quick to notice the many (and I do mean many) errors and short sightings present in it: frequent spelling and grammar mistakes in the game and on official social media posts, inconsistent phrasing, incorrect translations, game-breaking glitches, frequent censorship, half-hearted promotions, etc. EN also became infamous for its absolutely brutal pacing of content in the early days, particularly related to the limited story event schedules (including back-to-back Halloween events). This, in combination with EN’s constant pushing of paid gems (which occurs far more frequently than in the JP server) has left a bad taste in JP fans’ mouths. To them, TWST EN did not make a good first impression and continued to misstep again and again. This is especially true of the many dialogue changes to make the TWST localization more “culturally appropriate” (which is the definition of what a localization is; there is a reason why TWST is not called a translation, which would be a more accurate/“faithful” or direct translation of the dialogue).
The claim that “EN fans are weak/can’t handle the real story” likely arises from how EN has removed or altered details which may offend western audiences. This includes things like the term “master”, the mention of Azul’s weight, Kalim’s “30-40” siblings, etc. These are conscious decisions made on the part of the game localizers to make TWST more broadly appealing and appropriate for a western audience, where such topics are contentious or considered taboo. This is adapting TWST to a new culture so that it can (in a dry business sense) perform well. However, I also want to mention that some cultural changes EN made do significantly alter the story/characters (such as Jamil no longer stating his family will be on the streets if they defy the Asims; in EN he only says his parents will be mad at him), particularly if you are viewing through an EN-only lens. Unfortunately 😔 as much as I can point the nuances of localization out, there will always be fans who still oppose any sort of censorship. This is also true of the anime and manga community in general, and this post isn’t large enough in scope to tackle those issues. I only mention this here to help you, the reader, better understand the changes from Disney/Aniplex.
A lot of the original negative feelings that were there before EN was announced were then confirmed by the official release, and this strengthened the dislike of EN on the part of JP fans. These JP fans may then become hostile toward EN fans who defend the localization (whether or not they have the context of TWST JP) because, in the eyes of the JP fans, the localization is not as good as it could be. Ultimately, it seems like their intense feelings stem from passion for what they love and not wishing to see it “desecrated” rather than an actual hatred of fellow fans. JP fans are upset because they fear EN fans are not getting the full scope of the characters and a story they enjoy, and they want others to appreciate those aspects of TWST as well.
Of course 💦 the fact is that EN fans are not responsible for the localization. But EN is there and that is what is the easiest and the most time efficient for English-speaking audiences, so most people will go with that rather than alternatives (ie hunting down fan translations). The issue is that some JP fans conflate simply consuming the localization as being bad or the “wrong” thing to do, and thus, by proxy, extend this frustration to EN fans themselves (especially those those are EN only and have zero prior knowledge of JP) and not just the product. Again, this is because they tend to see JP as the “full” version, without the changes or censorship present in EN. This inevitably leads to discrepancies in understanding between JP and EN, whether due to staggered release of new content or how the characters are presented differently between the two servers. To those who say “the versions are basically the same except for minor changes”, I disagree. There are several dialogue changes that appear small in isolation, but because TWST’s narrative is told primarily via dialogue, those “small” changes are actually very large and can drastically modify how one perceives a character or situation without explicit knowledge of JP to balance it out. When Jamil is made an “employee” rather than a “servant” and worries about his parents being mad at him instead of his entire family literally being on the streets for defying the Asims, it takes away the bite from his motivations. When Cater inserts a #WOW that wasn’t there in JP while Riddle is breaking down sobbing, or makes him come off as far more insensitive than emotionally aware. These are just a few examples, but they are very prominent ones that can change how an EN only fan sees things. The idea that “we aren’t even playing the same game” can ring true to some JP players because of this.
It cannot be helped that EN fans would interpret the characters and stories differently when the localization is their only or primary source of TWST content. Not everyone has the time or the desire to look for more accurate fan translations (not all fan translations are the same quality), as some JP fans have suggested. If EN fans want to, that’s great! It’s nice to expand one’s knowledge and to be cognizant of the changes between the versions. There are many blogs out there dedicated to educating people on these matters, and many EN and JP fans alike flocking there to be informed. But that level of engagement shouldn’t be demanded of anyone. To deem those that don’t engage in “further research” as “lazy”, “dumb”, or a “fake fan” is not acceptable, not in the name of love or otherwise. The expectation to “do homework” only puts pressure on EN fans to be a certain way or else be rejected by the fandom, and that only breeds more hatred and negativity. It makes EN fans feel “not worthy” of being a fan unless they study up, when the truth of the matter is that no matter how much we like TWST, it’s… media at the end of the day. People are free to consume their choice of media however they like, and that includes casually or at their own pace. It’s not fun to be in a fandom where others are breathing down your neck and policing everything you do, especially since these spaces are meant to be a temporary escape from reality. If JP fans meant to gatekeep in an effort to make others recognize the “real” greatness of TWST, then it’s failing because this kind of attitude only serves to drive new fans away.
Among EN fans, there is this idea that “JP fans are stuck-up”. I can understand where this thinking comes from, as I have witnessed hatred for EN myself which comes unprompted and has killed many conversations. Admittedly, some points are geared toward the company themselves (and those are valid), such as rushed and/or inaccurate translations or the pushing of paid gems, but I’ve also seen my fair share of nastier, invalid comments directed at EN fans. There are JP fans who actively hope that EN will shut down or who outright dismiss EN fans because of the version they play, thinking of their thoughts and opinions as “lesser” or doubting their media literacy skills. It’s true that this behavior is out there in the fandom, and that is unfortunately a sad reality.
That being said, JP on EN hate is not the only form I see, and nor is it the majority. It goes both ways (and I would say about equally for all, although this is just based on anecdotes and not objective data). There is plenty of JP on JP hate (particularly when someone spreads mistranslations around as though it were the truth) and EN on EN hate (arguments over what is and is not appropriate to ship, differences in headcanons, harassing fans that fall outside an “acceptable” age range, etc). There is also EN on JP hate which feeds into a dangerous back-and-forth with JP on EN hate. I briefly mentioned before that EN fans tend to believe JP fans are elitist, and this leads to assumptions being made about anyone that critiques EN and sometimes lashing out about it. I myself have previously been accused of “hating” EN because I often make posts commenting on the changes made between EN and JP (which ones I think work and which I think don’t). This preemptively defensive behavior drives another wedge between JP and EN fans, making JP fans reluctant to engage with EN fans, which then fuels the belief that JP fans think they’re “better” than EN fans (when really, some JP fans may be intentionally distancing themselves for their own wellbeing). Additionally, a lot of behavior deemed more acceptable in western oriented fandom spaces (such as moral justifications, taking pictures without crediting, callouts of other fans, and incorrect use of fandom tags) are not so for JP spaces (or those familiar with JP spaces). There have also been times when EN fans harass the actual Japanese-speaking side of the fandom (be it Japanese fans or the devs themselves) and demand (not ask, but demand) content that caters to them or free translations of fan comics they make. When EN fans fail to observe such “basic fandom etiquette”, it leads to JP fans thinking them rude or entitled, which makes JP fans reluctant to interact with EN fans and, again, feeds into confirmation bias. It’s a viscous system.
What is “ruining” the fandom is not just one side. There has always been turmoil present in fandom spaces. It just appears more visible now that TWST’s popularity has grown to this scale. Right now, both sides (JP and EN) are antagonizing each other because of a loud minority that’s attacking the other side. That minority then gets extrapolated and assumed to be behavior of the entirety of the other side, and that is what keeps the hate going.
If I’m being entirely honest 😔 I don’t think these tensions will realistically ever die out; the fandom is too large to “stomp out” what has already been established in its culture. When both sides are fueled by something so strong—a passion for TWST—it’s hard to seek out and/or to consider alternative perspectives. We become fixated on their own negative experiences and fail to think about where the “others” maybe be coming from, and then close ourselves off from discussion. That promotes isolation and contempt rather than friendliness and cooperation.
If we want change, then it starts at an individual level and in smaller TWST communities. We shouldn’t assume the worst of “JP” or “EN” fans; we are all TWST fans. Let’s keep open-minded and welcome other fans and their diverse schools of thought. And if you don’t feel comfortable with that, that’s also fine! You’re allow to keep a distance and curate your online space as you like; just please don’t go out of your way to disparage others, you have your own lane and others have theirs. Don’t encroach on other lanes.
Maybe we don’t necessarily agree with each other or we think may hold different opinions—but that’s good, isn’t it? The freedom of thought and the open exchange of ideas promotes flexible thinking and can lead you to see things from a new angle, or perhaps develop a new idea of your own. If we all thought the same way, then life becomes boring or it can cultivate an “us versus them” narrative that sparks online wars.
Let me put it this way to close off the post: isn’t this the message that Twisted Wonderland itself is trying to teach us? The true value of attending Night Raven College isn’t just about receiving a good education. Countless times it has been stressed to us (and often by Lilia, the oldest and wisest of the core cast, someone who used to be resistant to opening up to outsiders) that it is vital to understand other people in spite of how different we may be. Let’s take a page out of the students’ book and try to live up to that ^^

The amount of issues that could be avoided if people had the decency and maturity to speak to each other like civilized human beings instead of resorting to the more commonly used methods here, like anon hate, vagueing, and passive-aggressive posts that are clearly targeting a person or group.
In the three years I have been on this hellsite, I have witnessed how these "methods" turn minor issues into outright, unnecessary wars.
Here is some information for those who are unaware:
Anon hate is douchey and wrong. If you send it, you're a douche and wrong. Period. If you can't understand that, please stop reading because you are already beyond help.
Unless someone has notifications set for you, there is an excellent chance that your intended target will not even see your vague/passive-aggressive rants.
Then, when said vague/passive-aggressive rant goes unanswered and ignored, the person or mob behind it festers, simmers, and becomes more outraged.
Bruh. They probably never even saw it, and if they did, they may not known it was directed at them. Now, the problem is 10 times bigger and, best of all, the original problem was never even addressed, much less solved!
Here's another tip:
Don't always assume the worst about someone!
Especially when you never bothered to communicate with them. You're making blind assumptions when you have little or no facts. Trust me, unless you're a mind reader, you don't know. You're not that smart, babes. Trust me. I'm not, either. TALK like grownups. It's much easier than all the bullshit that arises because of the above.
Now, you may be saying, "Hey, yeah, but aren't you vagueing/targeting right now, too?"
I'm sure some will take it that way. Since they likely won't reach out to me directly, they'll take their skewed logic as gospel and insist that they know my motivation. They'll also insist it's regarding "this" fandom event or whatever our drama du jour is.
Well, absolutely no one knows my motivation except me. So I'll make it clear. This is not geared toward any specific event, past or present, but an amalgamation of everything I've seen and experienced in the past three years. My motivation is two-fold. 1) I'm letting off steam, but, more importantly, 2) it is my sincere hope that people will see this, think about how they act and interact with others, and try to be better people.
I'm sure the fandom mind readers will dismiss what I just said and assign motivation to me. Have at it. I don't care.
No one knows my motivation except me, and no one knows my desired end goal, either. My desired end goal Is that everyone, myself included, will reflect more on how they behave and treat other people. I assure you, doing this will save others, the fandom, and, more importantly, it will save yourself a whole hell of a lot of unnecessary distress.
It's not that hard. Be better.

Hi hi! It's me, Concerned Anon (Directed to the Anon who had expressed feeling threatened.). The doc I created is NOT meant to harass people. I am fine with regular people in the fandom, it's extended to people like DJ and the like. I scrolled through the Doc and there's nothing of the sorts threatening people to off themselves.
If that's the case, then I would remove it. This is towards Chai as I treat him as a source. I feel like most people assume the Doc has content that's "Extreme as all hell" when in reality my language is only directed at people who commit actual crimes, I am not that extreme with my beliefs and anyone who name drops me on twitter for "threatening behavior" is only spreading false narratives and this ask is meant to clarify some things.
I do not care for the tame side of the fandom, as long as your not doing anything shitty and bad then it's fine by me.
The beginning of the Doc has stated numerous times to not harass others or send any hate. Hence: "If you are reading this with the full intent to harass anyone in the critic community or even outside of, then don’t. Especially if you follow Viv’s work and worship her. This will only further add more to the document and cause more issues than not. This document is meant to inform and educate/help others and make sure that Viv doesn’t get away with anything, as much as you like to not listen to what has been said, just act civilly and don’t act like it’s the end of the world because someone says VivziePop’s writing is bullshit. This will also serve as an open letter of some sorts, a walking, living, reading example of what the fanbase has done, that if VivziePop tries anything, we can show this document. You can still like her work and be critical of it, no one’s forcing you to not like it. "
The end of the Doc has a harsh message to the more "messed up side" as usual, most of us cannot control who comes to who, but we can also tell people to NOT harass others.
I do not intend to spread hate, if anything I am harsh on people like DJ, Dani and the creator.
My blog is not a Critic Space, nor do I intend for it to be that way. People who clarify this post as me being "harsh" hasn't read the full doc and are going off what Fans are saying.
I am simply only harsh to people who harass others for opinions, Dox, send death threats etc. Anything as a result of my Doc is my bad. But it's not in bad faith. I am simply doing my due diligence of cleaning up the Fandom, and if you haven't done anything wrong then I see no point in worrying.
I know this ask targeted to Chai, but this is for everyone whose worried. I am not some crazy "Critic" I am just someone whose Mentally Ill, with several disabilities who have been mistreated by the fandom and keeping archives.
By all accounts I am a normal human being. I just want to post Dragon Ball, not be called someone who wants to "hurt others" (trust me, the last time I did I ended up in the loony bin. I literally had the FBI shown up to my place."
So yeah, Doc isn't meant to sent any harassment, and if there's people doing that, cut that out. I am not dealing with this shit right now, as I already got alot on my hand.
I once again want to apologize if my "posts" causes issues. Not my intentions.
--Cooler's Malewife, Anon
Passing this along even though I have absolutely no idea what doc you're referring to. It sounds fair to people who enjoy the shows though, which is the way it should be.

I believe you're a Cyren fan so... Any thoughts about her?
Short answer: If Skybound is the missed opportunities/fridge horror capital of the world, Cyren isn't necessarily the most popular tourist spot - she's more like the little hole in the wall cafe you encounter by accident after you get separated from your tour group, and then you have the single best latte of your life there, but you can't find the place the next time you're in town. That is to say: yes, I do think about her, a lot, and I think she is criminally underappreciated, but I'm not too sure how to articulate it.
I'll try, though.
Long answer:
My knee-jerk reaction to someone mentioning Cyren is to think, oh, she was so cool! she had a kickass power and it's so sad we never got to see her use it. This, naturally, then reminds me of how she got that power, and then whoops! There we go down that whole mental rabbit hole.
A decent chunk of why I like Skybound so much is because what it doesn't directly say is frequently just as (if not more!) important as what it shows us directly, but only when those two work in tandem. I think Cyren is the single best - and most tragic - example of that.
Anon, I assume you know Cyren's backstory, but for anyone else seeing this who may need a refresher: Cyren's a Sky Pirate whose wish was to become a great singer. Nadakhan grants this by enchanting her voice to send listeners into a trance (and forgive me but I can't remember if it's just when she's singing or if it includes speech, but to be fair, it's not like they ever clarified it onscreen so I presume it's both), which is apparently a useful tool for making raids very easy... but, as you might guess, not great for performance reasons. Imagine showing up to see Fall Out Boy and passing out before Patrick can even finish asking if he's more than you bargained for yet.
Here's the problem: We never find this out in Skybound itself. Cyren does not have a Tall Tale, and if she did, it would be about as useful as the others anyway. Cyren never even speaks or has her name spoken. This information comes only from one of those old profile flavor text entries on the LEGO website at the time (which someone turned into the opening chunk of her history page on the wiki but I can no longer find in its original form). Later on I think it shows up in a few character dictionary type places, but that's a tangent - point is, this is another example of the secondary material doing wild shit to the main stuff.
A couple of things about this:
I can absolutely understand why they didn't show this off in the show - that's a game breaking power. You wouldn't have much of a fight scene to animate if you could just enforce nap time on everyone who forgot earplugs.
I would LOVE to know the order of operations here. Cyren's named on the set boxes, so I suppose they got pretty far into the process of establishing her, but... when did they scrap her? Did they ever scrap her? Was she even supposed to have that backstory, or did a web designer have a creative writing itch to scratch and a better understanding of the season's themes than the Hagemans seemed to? Was she ever supposed to do anything in the script?
Alternative to number 2, and my preferred option even though I always have to remind myself of it: why is this whole situation so much cooler with her silence?
The it girl weapon of Skybound is not the sword of souls; it's speech, and how you can use it to get what you want. Nadakhan's our entry-level example here - he tries to get his victims to say things he can reinterpret and aim back in their faces - and we see it with Jay and Nya, too. To put it very simply, Jay wants to be able to say the right thing to make Nya like him again; Nya wants to be able to say the right thing to get the world to listen to her and accept her for who she is and what she's trying to say. With those three, the key thing is that they're all able to determine what they want (even if they don't get it, of course) and tailor their speech to fit as best they can. (Obviously, this does not always work - but that starting option remains open all the time.)
Cyren does not get that. Cyren, if she speaks at all, automatically renders the listener unable to listen by sending them into a trance. The effect of her speech - no matter what she says or songs - is that she will be ignored. She's got the inverse of our leading trio: a guarantee that she will be heard long enough to influence the other party, but not the ability to choose what the influence is.
That's what makes Cyren the most gut-wrenching example of a weaponized wish in the season, at least in my eyes. She was able to use her voice to express this personal desire of hers - but it was the listener who held all the power, and heard her just long enough to pull the threads he could use, never mind what she actually meant. The end result is pretty much the exact opposite of what she asked for: a guarantee that her voice is no longer hers to use freely. To wish to be heard and appreciated and then to have your voice made so beautiful that it becomes the ultimate anesthetic.... ouch. OUCH.
In that way, I do think it's darkly, ironically perfect that Cyren never gets to speak, or climb all that far past the role of background Sky Pirate except for in the supplementary material. Again: absolutely devastating power. We wouldn't have any obstacles if they'd had it on the writer's table as an option, and without obstacles we wouldn't have had a story. She's a showstopper, literally, and it kind of fits that her power is too strong to actually be useful in the season. It's like showing up to a knife fight with a lawnmower.
And yet: we see her in action. We see Cyren a lot. Next time you watch Skybound, take a moment and count the background models in any given pirate crowd: there will only be one Cyren at a time (ETA: unless it's the Scrap n Tap scene, which plagues me for multiple reasons, including breaking my tidy absolutes in this ask) . There's a handful of repeating character models that show up a lot, often multiple times in the same small group, but Cyren is a standout. The most important appearance of hers I can name right now is during the end of 62 when she helps drag Nya out of the hidden basement - but even then, she's working with another bland background pirate.
That balance is so, so bittersweet to me - clearly there was something in the seasonal map keeping Cyren alive. She gets named on the set boxes and her own character profile, but she doesn't get a voice; she's seldom duplicated (ETA: again, except for the Scrap n Tap crowd) but never shown at full strength.
I don't know. I don't have a great way to end this. Something something actions speak louder than words, maybe? Something something secondary text?
In short: I love Cyren. I even love that she got shorted, because it makes her seem so much deeper, somehow, and it shouldn't work - but I'll take what I can get.

A few more OGL updates:
The important takeaways here are:
WoTC has said they will have a comment period in which they will take survey responses lasting no fewer than two weeks after the OGL is officially made available for comment, prior to or on this coming Friday, January 20, 2023. (I would encourage using this; please note that when you send the equivalent of anon hate to companies, they assume you are not a potential customer but rather a foaming-at-the-mouth weirdo and will disregard what you have to say. I mean, you can do what you want, and I can't guarantee what will happen as I do not work for WoTC in any capacity, but I have worked customer service, and the screaming haters get ignored as being nutjobs. You know what talks loudest is, of course, canceled subscriptions if you're still unhappy.)
This clarifies a lot of things that were never up for the chopping block, but which were frequently mentioned in rumors, which I think is good to have. Namely: actual play, things like minis/maps, and contracted D&D-related work are not under the OGL anyway and never were, and can continue; anyone still bringing those up is actively fearmongering and can be ignored.
Material published under the OGL 1.0a is still fine as is; this only applies going forward. It is not revoked for past materials.
VTTs are unaffected; see point 2 re: people still bringing them up.
Most crucially, there will be no registration or royalties, nor ownership of material made under the OGL. This was I think the most worrying part.
Obviously, this is a statement and not the draft, so if the draft lacks these provisions, give 'em (polite but firm) hell, unsubscribe, etc.
A couple of other things to note just in general:
Mark Hulmes has a really thoughtful video about everything (made prior to this last announcement) that I highly recommend skimming through at the very least; I think he covers the personal/emotional aspects a lot of players and actual players may be experiencing.
Never be afraid to ask people for sources for non-anecdotal information. If they can't provide them, consider what that says about their information.
I think a lot of the things other companies have promised - either new licenses for their materials, or new systems - sound great! They are also, at this time, unpublished. Do be aware and skeptical when people are giving them endless benefit of the doubt as saviors of the TTRPG. They may be as good as they sound! They also might never materialize; or they might be inexpensive and great for players (who are willing to leave D&D, anyway) but will leave small 3rd party publishers high and dry. SRDs simply aren't feasible for smaller publishers, who rely on the income from every purchase. If you've said you're concerned for 3rd party publishers, why not put your money where your mouth is and buy some OGL 1.0a-based materials?

Wait hold on when did I threaten you anywhere? I just wanted to talk is all I wasn't going to harm you in any way nor did I say i was. I never sent you any threats. If you think i threatened you, you made that up in your own head. If you wanted me to go away and not come back you should have just said so? It's not really harassment if you never told me not to come and I didn't knock on your door to bother you. I just waited outside and you never told me to go away or that you didn't want me there. I have never ever sent you a physical threat. Idk what 'evidence' you're talking about but I never broke the law anywhere in this situation. Your address is publicly available information btw
I think there's actually a legal precedent for me to tell you to go fuck yourself and leave me alone at least one last time before i officially press charges
But
I've told you multiple times to leave me alone and I literally have DMs of the multiple, countless accounts you have contacted me on after being told to leave me alone. I even keep turning off anon asks so that you would have to create accounts so that every ask and instance of harassment can be directly linked back to you and you have created HUNDREDS of accounts like a total loser, literally everyone has no idea why you're still doing this, we just started assuming you were deeply mentally ill and becoming concerned
First off we both know you weren't outside, you most likely don't even know how to drive or can afford your own gas, but you still threatened being outside a previous address and have threatened to come and see me multiple times and that's still very much a threat, very much illegal in the context of your actions
"Public information?" You don't even know how these topics work. You found an old post on an old blog from years ago, a PayPal link containing ONLY my full name which beyond that one post on a completely separate blog was never posted elsewhere, which you then started sending my full name around to strangers attaching it to both my blogs where it was not public, you've reuploaded my pictures to other websites, made other accounts using my face and name, and then you proceeded to make a public records request using that name and then MESSAGED OTHER PEOPLE AND MADE POSTS WITH AN OLD ADDRESS AND MY FAMILY MEMBERS' NAMES and then you have the nerve to fuck around and send an ask that you're outside what you genuinely believe is my current fucking home?
It would literally be quicker for me to tell you the things you did that DIDN'T break the law you dumbass fucking teenager. alleged teenager anyways; to be blunt the reason i only still believe you're young is because you're quite frankly a fucking idiot with no life experience and it shows. I literally still have screenshots of the last time you made a fake dating profile with my stolen picture, which, you're also reuploading my family member's pictures which is also fucking illegal
I also want to point out
EVERYONE LOOK AT THIS ABSOLUTE FUCKING MORON
"We're not even in the same state, you can't get me arrested, publicly spreading your private information on a public platform against your consent isn't illegal" oh my god you should have died in the womb, the cope is always turned up to 200 with you, do you take a medication for that. I'm literally fucking baiting you into deeper incriminating yourself and you are so far up your own ass you think I'm just falling for your pointless rage bait. I've literally told you multiple times that you could literally just Google how you reuploading my photos and even slightly implying you're me is a crime and then you're doing that on dating sites which has undertones of sexual violence and now your cringe ass is trying to use IP grabber links as if you didn't literally tell me how many miles away you were and that's kind of all I need
You've already threatened me. I've already told you to leave me the fuck alone. You literally impersonated multiple people and were still told to leave me alone. Even when you deactivate these accounts, these asks still sit in my inbox, the DMs of you admitting you broke the law are still easily accessible to me, the screenshots still in my phone, the records in tumblr's databases leading back to your registration email, so on so forth. You also keep harassing other people. Countless other people are fucking tired of this. Since I DO know what's legal to outright say to you I won't say what I'm sure many of us are thinking but, small dogs bark the loudest, and also, you're a coward, and a raging misogynist, and I pity the relationship you must have with your family that you spent your Christmas thinking about me
Fuck off and also eat your own shit and apologize to your parents and also take up staring into the sun as a hobby
#go on make things worse for yourself make my goddamn day#ive already privately and publicly told you to leave me the fuck alone and i already tried to report you to the police#although the wrong kind and through the wrong source#trust me when i say me physically walking into my local precinct is different than a request online#doxxingdrama

Anonymous: hey ^^ i was wondering why you sometimes decide to hide certain replies under some posts? like are there any rules [about] what’s allowed to be said there or are there just specific people whose replies you hide always? sorry if that’s a weird question, but for some reason my replies kept getting hidden and i don’t really understand why because all i said there was stuff like guessing who a character is or asking where something is from. i’m still able to send asks so i’m kinda puzzled tbh
AITA_Blorbos: We don't have a formalized or even informal criteria for deleting replies or hiding reblogs. Honestly, it wasn't something we'd discussed as a group until you sent this in, and after discussing it we have two answers for you.
The answer to your actual question: We sometimes delete replies or hide reblogs if they're, like, actively actively bigoted or exceedingly annoying (threshold is high, but rests somewhere around "telling us how to run our blog"). (Also, this happens practically never, but the point is that it's almost definitely not us hiding your replies, since what you're doing sounds like the same thing everyone else is doing.)
What we think might be going on: We're assuming that the asks you've been sending in have been anonymous, so... check if you can reply to other peoples' posts, if you still have messaging capabilities on your main, or if people get asks when you send them off anon. If it's no, no, and no, you might be shadowbanned, in which case you should send an appeal to Tumblr support. If it's not that, sorry, we can't help more without knowing your username. End ID.]

Hi Lauri! It's me! And it seems you found out my actions! Technically I was surprised you even figured it out it was all me, yes all the long ask was me? Are you disappointed now? Do you hate me a little because of that? If you do, I'm sorry. I just wanted you to have something to talk about because without the ask, you don't have anyone to ramble about, but don't worry! There are also many ask that was not sent by me!
I was pretty bit active those past months because I currently don't have any schedule to do, so I was free to ask you everyday, well it's entertainment for me to ask you everyday, it almost became a hobby, and also wanted to know facts and stuff, are you mad?
The reason why I was being inactive is because I forgot my password, someone came and hacked my account because I keep opening strange links that unfortunately hacked my account and there, my account got deleted by the hacker, I don't know why they deleted it or something. I don't really care, I'm really thankful I didn't do anything there or start a blog there, or put some private stuff.. fortunately I found your account after I made a new one, you can tell me to leave if you want me too..
Sorry to disappoint too that I made you believe that you have followers asking you alot of stuff.. sorry that I took this long to speak about why I'm being so inactive.. anyway are you happy about my return, or are you angry at me because what you thought you believe that you have anons asking you dozen of stuff but it was.. me? The point is on this ask, I want to say, sorry for everything. Even if I did it for entertainment and hobby asking you everyday, you must have thought that you have different anons askings you? Still fortunately enough there are also anons asking you that was not from me. I can confirm that the rest except the long asks was not from me.
I just thought that it was weird if I was the only one noticing those details, and no one was speaking up. so I made up a scenario of different anons noticing the details because I can't just leave those unnoticed can I? Welp..this was all the information I can give you. Sorry again Lauri and thanks for making me happy and entertained.
HHHHOLY CRAP- *falls over* HIIiiiIIIiiiiiIIII?????
G-geez, this was....n-not expected, but I-I'm not complaining either! Hi....! Holy crap, you're still here....? I-I thought you were busy, and that's why- y-y'know.....I-I wasn't gonna guilt you into staying if you had nothing left to say.....But I'm so sorry about the hacking! That sucks....! S-so...does that mean you WERE here reading all my posts this whole time, y-you just didn't have a blog to use....? O-oh my god.....
D-don't worry! I'm not mad at you! Not at all! Technically, you didn't even lie to me! I-it was all just....me assuming things! I-It was me assuming that one anon wouldn't message me so often, so they're probably different people. It was me assuming that I had more anons here than I really did cuz of that, and getting all panicked and stressed out about scaring "everyone" away, pfff......S-so, it's fine....I-I'm not mad at all....
I-if you really are gonna stick around, then....I don't mind at all.....I-I even welcome it.....Y-you don't have to send me stuff as often, I don't mind that, either....! Y-you don't have to constantly ask me stuff, but I'll be grateful for the stuff you do send....Wh-whatever you wanna do.....
I-I'm really glad you finally "came clean" about this....I-I had a lotta questions, and this answered close to all of them, so I really appreciate it....Don't worry, no hard feelings, I missed you, and I'm happy to see you be willing to come back! ^^
O-oh, and.....uh.....I'm not sure if you know this is how Tumblr works, but....uh....wh-when your old blog was deleted....all of the art you sent me, that I didn't post publicly to respect your privacy.....It was all deleted. It vanished from my inbox. A-and I didn't save any of it, cuz, I didn't know that was how things worked here...I had no idea that unpublished asks/submissions from blogs that get deleted are deleted as well.....S-so.....yeah....I-I'm really sorry.....I lost it all......(Th-the picture of her hands was one I looked at often....)TT///////TT
A-and, also, I'm REALLY sorry this took so long for me to answer! I've been off Tumblr almost all day, after getting an ask yesterday that upset me....! I-I hope you end up seeing this! Th-thanks for reaching out, really.....!

Two things before I get back to what I was working on, housework, etc.:
Hi. I know you're reading this. I did not ask anyone to send me personal info about you. I don't need it. I don't want it. And quite frankly, I don't care. I wanted stories about how badly you've acted in fandom. No one needs anything but your username for that, and when someone sent an anon using a name that I don't know if you use publicly or not, I publicly addressed them (and everyone else so they'd also know not to do this shit) that I was not at all interested in receiving or distributing information like that. Your insistence that the opposite happened speaks to either your willingness to be manipulative or your inability to process information you read. Pick your favorite option of these two.
Moving on: Hey QuestioningYourBehavior? I assume you're who sent me this latest anon I got and that means I gotta address you now.
Did I cosign that initial callout post you made? Yes I did. I was happy to see someone finally talking about these chucklefucks publicly. I was glad someone said the quiet part out loud.
What I don't think is at all called for is sending massive amounts of totally unhinged anon hate. A) say your piece once and then step back B) sign your name to the shit like an adult.
But if you're the one who sent those anons (which I suspect you were, given the fixation on art bullying, the QYB post being made post-art bullying of a beloved fan artist, and the anon I got today bragging about VPNs and all type of shit...yeah, bud.) There's such a thing as doing the right things for the wrong reason and you're starting to look just as bad as the people you were attempting to start a moral crusade against. Is it right to question their behavior? Yes. Maybe take a step back and question your own, too, while you're at it. This ain't it, chief.
Seriously, all of y'all are goofy as hell for this shit.

Hi Allie! I’ve been doing a deep dive through all your tags, because I’m only been here since the pandemic. Your blog is a great resource, thanks. I’d never come across “receipts” till I got into this fandom and I was just wondering, have you ever been given any that you thought were factual but that you couldn’t post for whatever reason? I’m sure if I ever knew something I couldn’t resist telling it to someone but at the same time everyone is entitled to some privacy, so the whole concept just really intrigues me. Thanks!
Hi, love! I'm not big on receipts, I think there are a lot of fake ones in the middle of a few real ones in this fandom. I have gotten a few over the last couple of years, I think I may have published maybe one or two, and the rest of them I tried to talk with the person off anon or ask for more information about it to make it more reliable and I was unsuccessful so I assume they were all just fake and I didn't post it.
But I have never *officially* received anything I wasn't allowed to post or talk about. I know a lot of people around here have, though. And I mean, when you make friends and talk with people, you hear about some things, and sometimes those things are not being published and I don't think it's a big deal. I understand what you mean, about having the urge to talk about it with someone, but I don't know... for instance, in a hypothetical scenario where I happen to see Harry and Louis together, I'd just run in the opposite direction and pretend nothing happened. That's how I deal with it, I'd immediately try to exclude myself from the situation because this isn't about me and I don't feel like I'd need to validate that with people. But I suppose it's just how you deal with it. I don't know if you're sending this as a test to see if I'd talk to someone about it 😂😂😂 But the answer is no, I wouldn't, I know better than this.

requests, asks, + what i will and won't write
ASKS:
wanna shoot the shit and get to know me a little better? want my thoughts about a certain idea/event in a fandom of your choosing? feel free to send in asks! i will obviously keep some information private, but i'd also love to make some friends around here. i'll answer questions about a lot of things-- my ocs, shit i'm interested in, hell, even off topic questions like my music taste! don't be shy :)
REQUESTS:
i will try my my hardest to be super clear about when requests are open or closed. in terms of requesting:
follow the rules for what i will/won't write
feel free to send anon or with your blog name! i know requesting can be nerve-wracking so feel free to ask anon
please try to specify that this is an ask... i'm a lil dumb sometimes! if you just send a general thought and don't ask for specific writing stuff, i probably will just assume it's not an ask
please be clear about which fandom you're requesting for
be specific... but not too specific. convoluted prompts are going to be hard to get invested in. i'm really not a fan of writing prompts like "can you write an mc that has these very specific powers like x and is related to y character and looks like z?" -- there's not any problem with these asks, i just know i won't do them justice! on the other hand, if you just give a prompt like "characters react to mc with dark hair", i won't really have anything to build off of. obviously, this is a hard line to walk sometimes. just try your best!
if you have a preference, please specify gender in your requests! i am afab, so if i am writing gender i will usually default to female if gender is an important part of the piece for some reason. however, i mainly try to write gender neutral so everyone can enjoy. if you have a preference, please mention it!
when requesting, please limit the number of characters you request for. what does this look like? if you're requesting a prompt for obey me, as an example, please choose the demon brothers OR the dateables/side characters. with collar x malice, choose the detective agency OR side characters. if not, i will deadass take FOREVER to get the request out. you are absolutely welcome to request both groups in separate asks, though!! this looks like: you send in two separate requests for the prompt "obey me characters on a first date", one requesting the demon brothers and the other requesting the side characters. that way i can get content out faster AND cover all the characters.
i'm a busy gal! sometimes it will take me a minute to get through asks. i want to make sure each idea gets all the love and attention they deserve. know that if you're going to submit a request, i will complete requests on my own time. obviously, i will aim to get them in a timely manner, but be aware that sometimes it might be a hot minute until i finish with them. (update: after taking requests for a while, i can safely say it takes me FOREVER to get through them. my apologies. i am just slow. if this bothers you, i am probably not the best person to request from. sorry!)
i have the right to ignore or turn down asks/requests. at the end of the day, this is my blog. if you send me something that's triggering or against my rules, i will not respond.
i will be posting regularly, even if it's not your ask. i learned the hard way that my engagement drops to the gutter if i don't, so i will continue to have things queued up to post. sit tight! i haven't forgotten about you, i'm probably just working on it still!
THIRSTS AND GENERAL THOUGHTS:
thirsting about characters i write for and wanna drop those delicious thoughts in my ask box? sudden thought of a very fluffy scenario and felt like sharing? go right ahead! i would love to respond to your thoughts and i love hearing what other people think about these characters/universes! i probably won't respond to these general thoughts with full fics or headcanons, but i would love to through around some ideas with you!
WHAT I WILL WRITE:
sfw - fluff, angst, hurt comfort, you name it!
nsfw
full spectrum of characters in a fandom as long as i have seen them enough in canon to feel comfortable enough to do so. examples for characters i don't write (yet!) are mephisto, thirteen, and raphael from obey me.
character x reader/character x mc
on occasion, character x character (as long as it follows my other rules!)
WHAT I WON'T WRITE:
heavy kink material - i'm a bit more vanilla myself, so hardcore kinks are really not my thing. i don't exactly know where that line is writing-wise tbh, but i'm sure i will find it as my blog ages. for now, if it seems abusive if you squint, i would probably not send it in
scat/watersports
noncon
emetophilia
incest
pedophilia and/or (n)sfw between underage and adult characters
self-harm content (including cutting, eating disorders, alcoholism, etc)
{these lists are subject to change over time! if you're unsure, please check!}
BOTTOM LINE:
please use some common sense. i love writing for and interacting with fandom spaces, but i am not going to continue to engage with things that make me miserable. please do not send intentionally triggering content to my asks or i will be forced to shut down requests.
when in doubt about what i will or will not write-- ask! i promise i won't bite! if you come to me respectfully, even if i ultimately won't write what you're requesting, i have no interest in being hostile. however, if you're intentionally trying to piss me off in my asks, you are welcome to fuck right off.
remember -- there is a human on the other side of this blog. please respect my boundaries and be understanding of my limits as a person. don't be a dick on purpose.
