Definitely a date where we stay home! We take the time to cook together (Iggy it the absolute best at cooking). And afterwards we watch a movie or just cuddle and stuff. Good, relaxing things!

I thought I didn't have a playlist for him, but then I saw I had the barebones start of it. I looked through, not remembering why I picked some songs, like this one, Sleeping At Last - Two but I listened and realized why, especially in these lines

And maybe one day I will get around to fixing myself too'

Because Ignis is always the caretaker, acting like a mother or even a servant at times. And with that he forgets to look at himself and what he needs or wants. Like, this man almost died willingly in order to even have a chance to protect Noct, and I am understating it!

So as someone who also has a caretaker personality, I see this song as a push and pull between him and me. He's so focused on others besides himself, and what they need and want, yet I see that he's also needing to be taken care of.

Tiny Stars ✨ - Which one of you and your f/o is the sun and which is the moon?

I'd say Ignis is the sun and I'm the moon. He's brilliant and bright, his full name also meaning "I stun with fiery knowledge". Meanwhile I'm more quiet, less noticeable, but comforting like a night's sleep. He's active and moving towards (and sometimes against) fate, and I'm more passive and reflective. I hope it makes sense ^^'

Shout out to Tamora Pierce specifically for making her lead female protagonist have a crush on a friend, not act on it, and eventually out-grow that crush and feel grateful that she never said anything.

There are so few stories that affirm choices like that, that admit that feelings don’t always last forever and that choosing not to pursue romance is actually a very valid choice. I love the Protector of the Small series for a lot of reasons, but this is a big one.
