y/nupdates: Singer Y/N L/N caught crying at the fashion show she was attending. The singer seemed a little upset throughout the event and even shed a few tears towards the end. What could have caused her to display such emotions in public!!

F1updates: Y/N L/N couldn’t seem to hold back her tears as she watched the Miami Grand Prix. This is the second time this week that the singer was caught crying, could the race be getting to her or is there something else going on?? We can only hope that she is doing well.

F1paps: L/N was seen leaving a restaurant in tears. The singer was reportedly waiting at the restaurant for someone (possibly Lando Norris) and seemed to be arguing on the phone. L/N was captured crying in the car as she drove away from the restaurant. This is not the first time the singer has been seen crying in public. Is this all a publicity stunt, or is there something going on behind the scenes?

Yourname: Haven’t had the best month as you guys can tell, but the only thing that helped me throughout this tough time (besides my amazing friends) was writing. 1 step forward, 3 steps back is yours to play, sing, cry, enjoy.

𝓼𝓾𝓶𝓶𝓪𝓻𝔂 : you and coryo had gone through hell and back, you've been together and far apart yet you could never find the courage to say how you truly feel for him. so, you wrote them into letter form, but you never sent them. and so what happens when one mr. snow finds each and every letter only to realize that it's too late?
𝓽𝓻𝓲𝓰𝓰𝓮𝓻 𝔀𝓪𝓻𝓷𝓲𝓷𝓰𝓼 : written in letter form from the readers perspective, talks of jealousy and sad feelings, r is definitely from the capitol, self blame, kinda sorta depression, angst, deceit, suicide, coryo finally responds
𝓪/𝓷 : so here’s part three!! I’m ngl I cried writing this and I KNOW people were asking for a happy ending but I’m just gonna tell y’all now that this is angst NO/VERY LITTLE COMFORT! I just had to do it so here ya go! enjoy 😊!

Tumblr media
⋆ ₊ ☽ ·˚𓍲⋆ 𝓹𝓪𝓻𝓽 𝓽𝓱𝓻𝓮𝓮: 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓭𝓮𝓯𝓮𝓪𝓽𝓮𝓭 ⋆𓍲˚· ☾ ₊ ⋆ Dear Coriolanus,
Time ticks on and on as does life; but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t hurt and it certainly doesn't mean that pain fades away with each passing day.
I heard from Mrs.Plinth that Sejanus was killed out in the districts. It must be so saddening knowing that your young son who had his whole life ahead of him died out in the districts all by himself.
I wonder if you saw him die, what were his last words?
Mrs.Plinth didn’t share much only saying that it was out in the districts and that she was very grateful that you were there for him.
Yet it also hurts knowing that you upended the trajectory of your life all for Lucy Gray.
What could she give you that I couldn’t?
People experience pain in such different ways. I remember when you got a cut when we were climbing trees in my backyard and you were stone faced acting like you were okay when I knew you weren’t. You hate blood and you especially hate pain and I know that.
All of us do really, I too was only eight when the war ended. We all went through the pain of hunger every single day, some even committed heinous acts to survive that will haunt them forever.
Some cower in terror and pain yet some rise above the pain. Some use that pain and anguish as a motivator to push forward and persevere.
Like you.
You know me, the runt of the litter. The forgotten one. Yet not by you, I know you would never forget me.
Just like I’ll never forget you.
Which is why it hurts so much to know that you still chose Lucy Gray over me. It still kills me when I think about my best friend, my first and forever love, who I’ve been through so much with choose a girl he’s just met over someone who's been on your side since day one.
What did I do wrong? Was it something I said? What could she have that I don’t?
Life has quieted down I guess, school is the same old same old, just the same boring day one after another. The Capitol just seems so dreary and dull, there is constant gloom plaguing the sky.
I like to think it’s because you’re not here. My sun, my moon illuminating the dark dark sky, shining brightly amongst the stars that have long burned out.
I really do miss you Coryo,
Yours Truly
Tumblr media
Coriolanus,
I heard from Tigiris you’re finally on your way home.
Is Lucy Gray with you?
I wonder if she’s holding your hand at the very second, comforting you about coming back to the home you call hell. Have you told her about your life in the Capitol, I wonder?
Is she truly your home now, Coriolanus?
It seems everyone around me is finding what their lives were missing. Money, power, glory. Yet there is this hole in my heart and my life in the shape of you.
I will never find home.
Many people say that home is where the heart is or that home is a person or idea rather than a physical place and they’re right.
Because my home will forever be you, Coriolanus.
And it rips my chest apart to know that I will never be able to go home because a pretty little bird has decided to peck her way into my home and build a fragile little nest. It hurts even more to know that you protected that nest.
Are there little birdies tweeting in that nest now?
I wonder if you have Sejanus’ stuff. You really were that boy's best friend, you know that Coriolanus?
Just like how you were my best friend. Before the war, before Celmensia, before Sejanus, before Lucy Gray.
But hey, you’re finally on the way back to the Capitol, right?
You’re finally coming back home to me.
I truly do hope I am the first one you call.
Love,
Your Darling awaiting your call
Tumblr media
To Coriolanus Snow,
My grave has been long set for I dug it. I have made my bed now, I must lie in it.
By the time you read this I will have already been long dead. The ache in my chest drove me to it, the numbing hole that consumed my being was no longer tolerable.
My head was drowning in anger, sadness, love. All for you my dearest Coriolanus.
I find myself writing as if there is tomorrow yet I truly do know that there won’t be a future for me.
I’ve reread every single unsent letter I have written for you and the gaping hole in my chest grows larger with every word I read for I know deep in my soul that I will never be able to go back in time and tell myself that it’s all worth it because I’m ow that it isn’t.
It’s ruining my life, Coriolanus, please do not think less of me for it.
My body has been battered and bruised all my by my hand, my mind plaguing my sanity, my memories, with fields of death and despair. I find now that I find solace and comfort in the thought.
I have dropped out of school, not that anyone would have noticed. I stopped sketching too, you know. It’s just that whenever my pencil touches the page all my hand seems to be able to draw is your face. My sketchbook has been filled with sketches of your face, your eyes, you at that reaping ceremony, you when you went to visit Lucy Gray in the Capitol zoo. All you.
I cant take it anymore Coryo, my heart can’t take it anymore.
My mind is plagued with images of your beautiful face, your smug smiles, your laughs where you hide those gorgeous hydrangea blue eyes of yours, the look on your face when I hugged you for the last time.
I replay that moment in my head, constantly. I seemingly can’t stop thinking back on that moment and think about what I could have said or could have given you to make you stay.
I would have done anything to have you stay, to have you be mine.
To have you love me back.
It’s a fickle thing, love. Fragile, yet powerful. It can make one go mad yet it can also ground you. It can drive you to murder for someone yet it can also motivate you to step in front of a bullet for someone.
It can also motivate you to live or cause you to die.
Some find love a nessecity to live while some find it the reason for their demise.
My dearest Coriolanus, I’m so terribly sorry. Yet I cannot help but akin love to a hardship. A pain, a pain that no matter how many dates I go on or how many men I flirt with that this pain will not go away.
I really tried, Coryo, I really did. I tried so hard to move on, to love someone else even when I know a hole is where my heart is and you and only you hold that missing piece.
I love you Coriolanus Snow.
I love you Coryo.
I love you.
I’ve loved you every minute of every single day of every single month of every single year ever since we were young. It may have been youthful play love but it shifted as the moons do.
I love you in every memory, every letter, and every dream that we meet. I love you in every minute and my love will forever live on in the velvety petals of pure white roses and pillowy hydrangeas.
I’ll love you, no matter what, every day, every hour, every minute, every year, for the rest of my life.
I’ll forever love you, even when I’m no longer here.
I forgive you my love, forever and always.
My only hope that you’ll forgive me.
My last wish is that you finally receive all those letters I wrote to you as a naive and young girl and look back that even now, I’m still me.
I’ll love you forever,
Your Dearest Darling Dead

Armour - Chapter Two
Rafe!AU x Reader
Summary: Having your heart broken was one thing. But Rafe watching somebody break your heart? That was something nobody could prepare for.
Warnings: Cursing, mentions/hints of a toxic relationship
Word Count: 3K
Author’s Note: I LOVE writing this series and this whole concept, I feel like I could carry it on forever - once again, this chapter was inspired by this gif so I feel like this might be an ongoing theme for this series <3 Thank you for the love y’all.
Tumblr media
After that night, you hadn’t thought of James. You and Rafe had returned home and, when Sarah asked how your night was, you’d told her you’d slept better than you had done in days. She’d probably tell you that you were crazy for going round to the house, and tell Rafe he was stupid for getting himself involved. She’d tell him this was too much like the old Rafe, the one that craved the power and the fights, and that he wasn’t like that anymore. But you knew that little spark in Rafe would always stay - for the few people that he cared enough about to make sure that nothing bad happened to them. And you’d seen that last night, the way he’d spoken about you; someone fighting your corner.
“Good morning,” Rafe groans as he walks through to the kitchen, dragging a hand over his face.
He’s wearing a pair of joggers that hang low on his hips, accentuating the V-lines around the bottom of his abs, his torso visible for the few seconds as he struggles to pull a hoodie over his head.
“Is it even still morning?” Sarah laughs, pouring out another cup of coffee and handing it over to him.
“I had a busy day yesterday,” He rolls his eyes, “You know, travelling and all that.”
He sits down at the kitchen island beside you and offers you a small smile just before his lips touch the coffee mug, his eyes warm in the steam coming from the cup.
“Did you get up in the night, Rafe?” Sarah asks, settling a hand over her growing bump and leaning back against the kitchen counter.
He frowns over his coffee and shakes his head, “Nope, slept like a baby.”
“That’s weird,” Sarah frowns too, “I could’ve sworn I heard the door open.”
“Probably just baby brain,” He clears his throat, “I’m going to hop in the shower.”
Sarah watches with a suspicious squint in her eyes as he disappears, “I swear he gets weirder every time I see him.”
You laugh and look down as you feel a smile spread onto your face, you’d have to thank him later for last night.
Sarah comes over and takes the seat that Rafe had been sat in, shifting herself so that she’s facing you, “So, I need you to be honest with me, how are you feeling?”
You turn so that you’re facing her too and Sarah stretches out her hands for you to take, both of you squeezing into the contact, “I’m okay, so much better than I was. It’s just weird, you know? For nine years he was the person I told everything to. Even when we weren’t living together or anything, I’d wake up and send him a text or call him before I went to sleep. I keep getting this weird instinct to just reach for my phone because I feel like I haven’t heard from him and then I realise that… I don’t know, I won’t.”
She nods reassuringly but doesn’t say anything else, letting you continue.
“I just want to know why,” You laugh a little, “Not in a weird ‘what’s wrong with me’ kind of way. But just… it was nine years of my life, you know?”
“Okay, I maybe shouldn’t be suggesting this because I think, as the best friend, I’m meant to tell you to stay far away from him, but maybe it would do you some good to meet up with James and talk it all through. Do you think?”
After last night? You weren’t sure he’d ever want to see you again, especially if he thought Rafe would be with you again.
“Yeah, maybe, we’ll have to talk about everything at some point, I guess I-“
You’re cut off as your phone pings on the counter and a message notification comes up from James again.
I think we need to talk after yesterday. I’ll pick you up and we can go for coffee if you’re free?
Sarah eyes the message too, “After yesterday?”
“Right, yeah, with the box and stuff, I thought that was his final straw or something,” You look down so that she can’t realise that you’re lying, “Um, I better go and get ready, tell him that I’ll be free.”
You squeeze Sarah’s hand as you leave, hurrying up the stairs as if running from the conversation. She probably wouldn’t be too mad if you told her about last night, but she’d almost definitely tell you that it was a bad idea, that Rafe is a bad influence even all these years later. It was the same way you didn’t tell her about the night at the beach with Rafe, or the countless other nights like that - she’d tell you Rafe was her brother but it wasn’t a good idea. And you weren’t exactly ready to hear that.
You go into the bedroom that had become your own and close the door behind you, just as there is the sound of the ensuite door opening. Rafe steps out, a towel wrapped around his waist, beads of water dripping around his shoulders, dipping down from his soaked hair.
“Oh shit sorry I-“ Rafe comes to a halt, glancing up from his phone in his hand, “The shower in the other bathroom is terrible so I just… I thought you were downstairs so I-“
“Rafe, it’s fine,” You laugh, “Not anything I haven’t seen before.”
He fakes a gasp, “You’ll embarrass me, (Y/L/N).”
You roll your eyes, “I don’t think anything embarrasses you, Cameron.”
He chuckles and drags a hand through his wet hair, “So, I was thinking we should get out of the house today. I miss the beach when I’m in New York, one of the few things to miss about this place.”
“I actually,” You clear your throat, “I have something to do today.”
Rafe frowns for a second, “Ooh, mysterious,” He stretches out a hand and pokes at your side, “What are you doing?”
“I just,” You shake your head, “I have a meeting, you know, to sort out the house and stuff.”
“Oh, okay, cool,” He nods, “Well, be back by sunset and we can go for a swim. Sound good?”
“Sounds good,” You return, “Now please go and get some clothes on.”
“Keep it in your pants, (Y/N), you know you love me,” He wiggles his brows, exaggeratively swaying his hips as he walks out of the room, closing the door behind him.
Your eyes settle over the room, landing on the box still sat beside your bed. The rest of it was closed away now, but the shot glass and now your toy giraffe, sat on your nightstand. You smile a little at the sight, thinking only to yourself. It felt like a couple of brightened moments in a week you were sure wasn’t going to get any sense of light. Today would likely be another darkness, but you’d be coming home to another bright place.
~~~
Within the hour, you’re showered, changed and ready to leave, sat on the edge of your bed waiting for James to text. Twelve minutes after he’d said he’d be there, he texts to say he’s outside. You grab your jacket and hurry down the stairs, glancing back to see Rafe and John B stood outside in the garden. John B is pointing something out and he’s holding a plank of wood in one hand as if he’s preparing to build something. Rafe nods along and seemingly agrees, laughing at something John B says that seems to brighten up his eyes. Your heart sinks a little at the guilt that comes with the view, knowing he would hate to think of where you were going right now. But you open the front door and close it quickly behind you, hurrying down to the car waiting with the engine still running.
You open the door and climb in quietly, feeling oddly far when you don’t have to lean over to kiss him in greeting.
“Hey,” You breathe out when he doesn’t make any move to say it first.
“Hi,” James glances at you, “Where do you want to go?”
“Are there really many options?” You frown, settling your hands into your lap and picking at the skin beside your thumb to give you something to focus on.
James chuckles a little and moves to reverse out of the driveway, “Fair point, let’s go.”
He drives you the short distance across the island to the one coffee shop that anyone actually used here. It’s near enough empty as you step through, thanking James for holding the door open for you. You order your regular and he orders his, sitting at a table in the far corner as if sheltering yourself from the world.
“So, I would ask how you’ve been but that feels weird when I saw you yesterday,” James comments, dragging his finger around the rim of the coffee cup on the table, “But how have you been?”
You swallow down a sip of your drink, too hot so it scratches your throat as it goes, “I’m okay, and I’m sorry about last night.”
He shakes his head, “Look, it’s your house too (Y/N), at least until we sort everything out. I just don’t know why you didn’t text me. And why you thought you should just show up in the middle of the night with Rafe?”
You nod as if you’re being told off, “No, I know. It was stupid. It was late and we were just planning on getting in and leaving, I didn’t plan on you seeing him, and I especially didn’t want the two of you to argue, you know that.”
He’s silent in his agreement, pausing for enough time for it to settle before he says, “So why is he here?”
“He’s back from New York for a few days, just coming to see Sarah,” You explain, taking another sip of your drink and wincing as it burns at your tongue.
“Perfect timing,” James raises his brows momentarily as if being sarcastic, “I’m sure he was happy to see you.”
“Wha-“ You pause, reconsidering the idea of starting up an argument that he’s already ignited, “What is that supposed to mean?”
“Come on, (Y/N),” James rolls his eyes, “I know the way he used to be with you.”
“We’re friends, we’ve always been friends.”
Perhaps that wasn’t so true, just maybe. Before you and James got together, you’d been so sure that you and Rafe would be inevitable. There was the night you kissed at the party, there was the night on the beach with far too much alcohol, there were countless days and countless nights. Just as you were losing hope of him ever reciprocating your feelings, you’d seen him kiss a girl at another party, and you’d used that as confirmation enough. Two weeks later, you’d gone on your first date with James. Nine years later, you’d still never told Rafe how you’d felt before that - especially since the two of you had started living such different lives.
“I knew how he felt about you, it was obvious. God, the first time I met those guys he acted like I was the worst person he’d ever met,” James scoffs, “I thought he was going to rip my head off when I said we’d be moving away for college. He could’ve done the same last night, too.”
“You know, you don’t get to talk like that anymore. You split up with me. So it shouldn’t matter to you how anyone feels about me, whether or not that’s true,” You defend, tucking your arms around yourself as if closing yourself away from him.
“I don’t think I noticed it when we were in college, it was just me and you in our own little world and for a long time I thought that’s what would make us last. But we moved back here and it’s like everywhere you turn there’s another memory of you two - another piece of him that you’re holding onto even years later.”
“We’re friends. He means a lot to me. That’s what friends are.”
You let the silence fall.
He’s silent too and it surprises you. Normally, he would find any way to keep an argument going if he’d started it, he’d argue back and forth constantly until you agreed - he didn’t just let arguments end.
“I didn’t come here to argue with you,” He takes a deep breath, “I’m sorry for the way I ended things. I know I probably didn’t go about things in the right way, but I think if I’d have tried to do anything else I… well, I don’t think I’d have been able to do it.”
You feel the lump grow in your throat, the way it seems to constrict your words just a little too much as you say, “Then why did you?”
He breaks eye contact then and looks down at his cup, his finger still swirling around the edge in continuous circles, “Do you remember the first time we went out?”
“Our first date?”
“I picked you up from your house and I had to wait down the road because your parents might see me. And we went out, and I knew then that this was it for me, like within one date I’d just already decided,” He doesn’t meet your eyes, “And then I walked you home and I stopped around the corner again so that your parents wouldn’t see me. And you walked up to your house and Rafe was sat on the steps up to your porch, just waiting for you to get home.”
Your heart sinks at his words, like a weird feeling of not knowing the inevitable.
“And I guess for the past nine years that’s how it’s always felt; like Rafe was just waiting for you to go back home to him.”
“You’re blaming this on Rafe?” You raise your brows, your words feeling coarse and dry as you speak, “We were together for nine years. I chose you for nine years, every fucking day I chose you, and you want to tell me that you blame this on Rafe? That Rafe’s the reason you broke my heart?”
“Broke your heart,” James repeats, nodding slowly, “Your heart didn’t seem too broken last night.”
You let out a scoff and bite down just a little on the tip of your tongue as if trying to calm the anger bubbling out of you, “Right, yeah. I had one night where I felt a little bit fucking human again, after not sleeping, not eating, crying until I thought I’d be sick. After asking myself over and over and over again - what did I do? what should I have done? what’s wrong with me? And this whole thing you’re just going to blame on Rafe?”
“Where is he right now (Y/N)?”
You stop in your tracks, your hand clenching around the heat of your coffee mug, your words seeming to sink in the air between you.
James takes a long pause, his eyes scanning your face as if waiting for you to find the answer, “Waiting for you to come home.”
~~~
It’s an uncomfortable drive back. Neither of you speak a word. So much so that the tyres suddenly seem to make too much noise on the road, and you feel like you can hear the sound of the wheel turning under his grip. There’s a welcome relief when you watch the car turn into the driveway towards Sarah’s house, and an overwhelming dread when you catch the sight you know that James has seen too.
Rafe is sat on the steps in front of their house, the copy of To Kill A Mockingbird in his hands, a third of the way through the pages. He glances up at the sound of the car, a slight drop in his features as he recognises the face behind the wheel. He sets the book down on the side of the steps and stands up, his jaw clenching as you watch him.
James doesn’t say a word, but there’s the slightest tiniest hint of a smirk on his lips as if he’s been proven right about everything.
You wait until he cuts the engine and pull your seatbelt off, pausing before you push open the door, “I didn’t know that he’d be-“
James opens his own door and pushes himself out before you have a chance to say anything else. You follow suit quickly, scrambling out like the car’s on fire.
“Couldn’t wait to jump on her could you, buddy?” James bellows, storming over to Rafe.
“Excuse me?” Rafe looks taken aback, glancing at you as your eyes catch, “This is the house meeting you were talking about?”
“House meeting?” James looks at you, “So you couldn’t even tell him you were seeing me?”
“I just- I didn’t-“
“So what is it? You’re trying to come crawling back to her?” Rafe interjects and you flick your eyes to him as if a warning, though now he is only focused on James.
“You want to talk about crawling back? It seems pretty fucking convenient that you show your face around here the minute (Y/N)’s not got a boyfriend anymore.”
“Right, yeah, that’s why I’m here. Maybe it’s a good thing I came home, to pick up the pieces of the shit you left her in.”
In a conversation about yourself, you’ve never felt smaller. It’s like you’re shrinking into the space around them, disappearing when all of their anger is fuelled by you and focused on themselves. You’re sure you could disappear and they’d remain - hot headed in their hatred.
“Pick up the pieces? That’s what you think you’re doing?” James laughs, both of them practically steaming in their anger, “You’re not doing fuck all to help when you’re trying to get into her pants two seconds after she’s singl-“
“Enough!” You yell, sounding like the word has come from someone other than yourself as you feel your hands start to tremble.
Both of the boys silence, finally looking away from each other to focus on you, their anger sinking into the same pool as your disapproval. Rafe’s eyes seem to settle back into himself, like a realisation of how he’d been acting - he’d been doing the exact thing that he hated seeing in James, the way he ignored you in favor of his own focus. He looks like his younger self when you watch him. That anger, that hatred, the kind that he’d had before he moved away. That kind that gave him a million more problems. He’s that boy again.
“Just stop doing this, okay?” You drag a hand through your hair, “Neither of you get to talk on my behalf. Neither of you get to choose what’s best for me, or force this narrative of what you think is going on in my life. I’m sick of it. Have this masculinity battle some other time but god do it when I’m not here.”
With that, you disappear around the side of the house, shortcutting through the garden gate and finally letting yourself breathe, the tension in your chest seeming to return.
Rafe looks at James as if he could go again but in that moment all he can think of is you. The disappointment in your face as you’d walked away, the way you looked at him like you didn’t really know him. He drags a hand through his hair and all he can think of is how you tell him you’re sure he could suit any hairstyle. He stops himself from smiling, the urge fading when he looks at James again.
“So, what? Maybe a week or so and you’ll ask her on a date?” James folds his arms over his chest, “Or is a week just too long to wait? Hell, maybe you’ll be engaged within the month.”
“You know what, James,” Rafe clenches and unclenches his jaw, “Just go,” He waves his hand in the boys direction, his body turning away from him as if it’s gravitating back to you.
And with only the thought of you, he backs away from the fight.
~~~
You’re sat on the half-made dock at the end of Sarah and John B’s lawn, your feet pushing through the surface of the water aimlessly, eyes focused on the way the water curves around your ankles. Your chest has seemingly settled now but if you let yourself think of everything for too long it seems to flurry in anxiety again.
“Can I sit? Or should I put myself in time out?” The words come with the sound of footsteps creaking along the wooden planks, pausing as if they’re sure they are a safe distance from you.
You dont turn around, “Sit, as long as you promise to be quiet.”
Rafe mumbles a ‘yes ma’am’ and takes his spot on the edge of the dock beside you. You feel him looking at you, his eyes burning into you as they scan your face. You weren’t crying and it seems to relieve the tiniest bit of worry within him. But you looked drained. Not tired in the way you were when he first saw you - but drained in the way that life seems to have been just slightly pulled away from you.
He opens his mouth to speak but stops as you lean back, fingers linking between your hands over your stomach as you lay against the dock. The sun hangs bright above you and you close your eyes, a deep breath forcing a rise and fall in your chest. Rafe watches you, the innocence in your features. He’d relied on those exact features for a lot of moments in his life. Your smile when he needed reminding of a good memory, the way your jaw clenches when you’re angry when he needed reminding of when he was in the wrong. Your eyes when he needed to come back home.
After a moment, he leans himself back too, his shirt wrinkling against the wood as he lays down, one arm tucking underneath his head. He turns his face towards you, observing.
You poke one eye open and squint in his direction, “Stop staring, weirdo.”
Rafe smiles, “So you’re not completely ignoring me,” He nods his head a little against his arm, “Does that mean I’m at like a six on the scale?”
“The scale?”
“The scale. How mad you are at something, you don’t remember?”
Of course you remember. When the two of you had been at school, he’d used that ‘scale’ as a way of you telling him how bad your day was - on the days when you had exams, and your friends were being shitty, and your parents were having problems at home, you’d say you were closer to a 10. It applied to everything - when he annoyed you, when you and Sarah had argued over something silly, everything.
“I’m a seven.”
He laughs a little and it seems to sit welcomingly in the space between you, easing the clench in your chest just enough.
The two of you stay in silence for a while after that, watching the sun disappear momentarily behind a cloud, casting a welcome shade over the water. You focus on the rise and fall of your chest, breathing in and out deeply to avoid the discomfort coming from laying on the dock. Rafe stays still beside you for a while, before his leg slightly shifts to the side so that his knee knocks against yours. You fight back a smile and turn around to look at him;
“Yes?” You raise your brows.
He pushes himself up so he’s leaning over you on his elbows, his head blocking the sun out so you can look at him without completely squinting against the light.
“I’m sorry,” He nods, “I really did have no idea you were with him, I was just waiting until you got back. And I don’t know, as soon as he said that I just felt like I lost it. It was weird, I don’t think I’ve felt angry like that in years.”
You nod in response, watching the guilt cast a darkness over his features.
“How did it go with you two today?”
You push yourself to lean up on your elbows too, matching his stance as he settles back to his side of the dock.
“Well, he’s not your biggest fan,” You laugh a little, staring out on the stillness of the water, “I don’t know, it just seems like he wants to think our relationship was doomed from the start, like we were just putting off the inevitable.”
“Well, did you ever feel like that?”
You take a deep breath, “I don’t think so. I don’t know, I just thought we’d stay together. God, I think after our third anniversary I was pretty certain that this would be it. But after what he said today it just feels like the two of us had been in two different relationships for all this time. And now I’m thinking, why didn’t he ever propose? Why did he want to move back here when I had my whole life at college? I mean, shit, Sarah’s having a kid and I was still just a girlfriend after nine years.”
Rafe nods, “Yeah I know what you mean. He was crazy for not wanting to marry you after all that time.”
You turn your head to look at him but he stays looking out over the water dismissively.
“God, who wouldn’t want to marry you?”
You feel your heart swell for just a second and turn your head away from him to look back over the water, both of you letting the silence fill in the empty gaps of the conversation you hadn’t yet had, that you didn’t need to have just yet.
“So, the sun is about an hour from setting,” Rafe points out, “How about that swim?”
~~~
You make your way back downstairs with your swimsuit on, a towel held under one arm, your flip-flops slapping against the wooden steps.
“Hey! I feel like I haven’t seen you today, how did it go with James?” Sarah stands up from the couch as you come downstairs, “Are you going out?”
You glance out at the garden, Rafe not visible along the stretch of the lawn, “Yeah, I’m just going for a swim. And it went well with James, a little bit of closure at least. Still feels weird.”
“It’s bound to,” Sarah nods, reaching out a hand to squeeze your arm, “Did you tell Rafe that you saw him?”
“Um, yeah, yeah, he knows,” You scratch at the back of your neck.
“God, I’m surprised he didn’t flip. I don’t think there’s anyone he hates as much as he hates James,” Sarah shakes her head.
You’re about to speak again but are cut off by the sound of the garden door sliding open. Rafe appears on the other side, poking his head through the created gap between the door and the wall.
“You ready to go (Y/L/N)?” He looks at you, a soft smile on his lips, a sort of calm resting in his features.
“I’ll be there in a minute,” You return softly and he nods, disappearing again.
“He’s so different when he sees you,” Sarah shakes her head, glancing over at the spot where her brother had just been.
“Different how?” You frown, letting your eyes trail back to her.
She shrugs her shoulders and rests a hand over her bump, running her fingers over the skin, “Just like he’s grounded, like he’s home.”
You feel the lump form in your throat, the way it once again makes it feel impossible to think of anything to say.
“Go on, he might be grounded but he’s still impatient,” Sarah jokes, gesturing her head in the direction of the door.
You laugh and follow her instruction, closing the glass door behind you as you walk down to the dock. Rafe is sat on the edge, his legs dangling over into the water. In only his swim-shorts, you can see the contortions of his muscles across his shoulders, the way they dip in his skin and seem to make him look bigger than he ever seemed normally. His skin isn’t as tanned as you remember him being but you suppose he doesn’t get as much sun when he’s in New York - not the kind he got here, anyway. And part of you seems to remember just how distant he was nowadays, his return feeling all the more temporary.
You hang your towel over the edge of the dock next to his and pull off your flip flops, leaving them at the edge too before breaking into a sprint straight past him. Your arms outstretch in front of you and break the surface of the water first, submerging your underneath until your toes feel the cold of the still water too.
Your head breaks the surface and you drag your hands up to draw your hair way from your face, now slick against your scalp.
“Very graceful,” Rafe smirks, “How on earth do I follow that?”
You watch him stand from the dock, stretching upwards before taking a few steps back. Within a split second, he catapults himself into the air, drawing his knees upwards so that he lands in a cannonball into the water, spray dispersing into the air and all over you.
“Well, I wouldn’t call that graceful,” You laugh, blinking away the water from your eyes.
From where Sarah and John B’s house was, you could see the sunset through a clearing in the trees if you swam around to the right angle. And you and Rafe knew the islands well enough to know exactly where to go.
By the time you swim around, the sky is painted with a yellow hue, sun lowering down seemingly a few feet from the horizon.
“I’m sorry about today,” Rafe breaks the silence, turning himself in the water to face you.
You kick forward so that your body tilts back, head hanging into the surface water, “You already said that.”
“I know, I just hate when I feel like I’ve disappointed you,” He comments, watching the way your body floats in the water.
You smile a little to the sky, “You didn’t disappoint me.”
He pauses for a moment, “So, I didn’t ask you earlier but, did he tell you the reason why he ended things?”
Your body tilts to turn you upright once again in the water, hands pushing through either side of you to maintain your position, eyes locking onto him. His hair is slick against his head and there are small beads of water trailing down either side of his cheeks, looping around under his jawline. He’s home. For the first time in years, he’s back here and it feels like it’s actually him - not some replaced or changed version. You’re both back to being sixteen again, sneaking liquor out of your houses, staying up until the sun called you home, misfit ways of surviving life in this isolated haven. And you realise it then, for a fleeting moment where you let yourself accept it - it’s Rafe that makes this place home.
“He…” Your voice trails off then, considering every possible outcome that would come in return for telling Rafe exactly what had been said earlier, exactly what you’d come to learn.
But the moment is fleeting. And you’re back in seconds to a reality. To a broken heart and a broken home, to New York, to your future, to James, to Sarah just a matter of metres away, to everything and everyone that you didn’t want to lose. To Rafe.
“He couldn’t give me a reason,” You swallow the lump in your throat, your eyes not breaking away from Rafe.
“The guy’s an idiot,” Rafe shakes his head, turning away from you and towards the sun.
You watch as he does, watching the glow that radiates from his skin, the way it seems to warm the air around him.
James might be an idiot, but maybe he was right.

﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋
A year ago your and Trent’s life changed forever.
It was a normal day, you were working from home due to the illness you’ve felt the entire week. You thought it was just a cold at first but when pregnancy came to mind, you opened goggle and scrolled and read things for hours. All the usual symptoms were exactly the ones you were feeling such as nausea, missed periods and morning sickness.
You were scared to tell Trent at first, you didn’t know how he would react. If he’d be angry, sad, happy, all your thoughts were going through your head.
But you had to find out right? So the day after you were going to head to the pharmacy to buy a test. As protective and caring as Trent is, he asked you where you were going and the anxiety of telling the truth hit you.
“Where are you going babe?” Trent asked and looked up from his phone.
“Oh I’m just heading to the pharmacy, need a couple of things” You lied straight to his face, hands fidgeting.
“I’m sure we have everything at home, what is it that you’re needing?” He inquired whilst you stood by the door, wanting to escape.
“Just some painkillers” You lied once again.
Trent shook his head and got up from the sofa, approaching you with his eyes that were imploring an answer. The right answer, not some kind of lie.
“Y/n what’s going on?” Trent expressed and took your hands and kissed them whilst his eyes were on your worried eyes.
You smiled at him, a weak smile and he noticed that was the smile you only gave him when something was wrong. And you know the more you try to hide it, the more anxious you’ll get and Trent will be more concerned so you decided to tell him.
“You know I’ve been ill for a few days right? And umm.. I think it’s pregnancy symptoms, so I figured I’ll buy a test you know, just to check” You revealed and your ears were eager to hear him say something about it. You were waiting for ages, but you didn’t hear anything, you only received a big wide smile from your lover in front of you.
“It’s okay Y/n, I’ll wait for you when you come back” He smiled and your anxiety was gone from your chest and you smiled back at him, leaving to buy the test that would decide your entire future.
….
Ever since that day, every day since your and Trent’s daughter came into your lives, you’ve been happier than ever. She made your whole life change and you’ve never been more in love with Trent.
Of course it’s been though sometimes but it’s been beautiful as well, you’ve seen Trent turn from a young teenager to a grown dad who’s now taking care of your daughter. You could never ask for a better dad to your child.
But there is one thing he needs to work at. He’s been with her and taken care of her but not when you’re not there. Trent is scared for something to happen when you’re not around and today you have a really important meeting that you need to attend to. You thought that this is the perfect opportunity for him to learn to be with her when you’re not there.
“Hey Trent! Come down” You shouted from downstairs and almost ready to leave. You thought it was better to be ready to leave instead of having to sit with a complaining Trent not wanting to be alone with his daughter and just get it over with.
You heard Trent walking down the stairs, his face lit up when he saw Novalie playing with you.
“I have a task for you today T” You said as you got up from the floor and Trent went over to sit down next to Novalie.
“I have to be at work for a few hours and-“
He cut you off.
“You know I can’t-“
“Shush I’m talking” You grumbled and sighed.
“I know you don’t like it but you have to, what will happen if I have to be away for a few days for example?” You said as you looked at him with your arms crossed.
“I don’t even want to think about that” Trent chuckled and you rolled your eyes at him.
“Don’t call me unless it’s an emergency and emergency means something serious, don’t call if she’s crying” You asserted and began to take on your shoes and Trent picked up Novalie in his arms.
“Y/n I don’t think I can do it” Trent sighed and you looked at him in awe. He was so cute, you didn’t want to leave him but you knew he could do anything so you gave him a peck on his cheek before opening the door.
“If you can win all seven trophies at twenty three than I think you’ll be able to take care of your daughter for a few hours” You teased and he was not happy with that comment but he couldn’t be mad at you.
“Wave goodbye to mommy” Trent cooed and gently waved Novalie’s hand at you.
The minute you stepped out of the house you wanted to go back in and cuddle them both, but that was not possible so you could only wait until you come home to kiss and hug Trent and Novalie.
Trent POV
The minute Y/n stepped out of the door he missed her immediately. Her presence to him was soothing and comforting, he can always be himself around her and not worry about anything in his life. But now when she’s not in his presence, he feels uneasy. But he also has his little princess who can light up his day even if Y/n isn’t around.
Trent sat on the floor with Novalie playing with her stuffed animals, he smiled and realised how lucky he is and how much he loved her. He has the most beautiful girlfriend in the world with the most adorable daughter ever, could he ask for more?
Trent looked at the clock and saw that it was almost time to get ready for training, another challenge to him. He has only brought Novalie to the training ground a few times before but Y/n was with him. Now he’s got to do it all alone but he figured he could get some help from his teammates.
He first picked up Novalie from the floor then made his way to her room to get her changed. Y/n knew Trent wasn’t the best to dress her, so she had already prepared an outfit that laid on the nursing table. Trent was relieved by that and after he put on her clothes, he kissed her forehead.
“My little angel” He whispered and smiled at her then went downstairs to leave for training. He put on her tiny shoes and walked out the door to the car and sat her down in her baby car seat.
Novalie loved sleeping in the car, especially when Trent put on Adele. Even if she couldn’t talk properly yet, she still sang along to some songs and it made Trent’s heart melt.
Trent arrived at the training ground, Novalie was still sleeping and Trent knew what was going to happen. She usually starts crying when she wakes up, she’s just like her daddy, loves sleeping and doesn’t like to be woken up.
“Here we go” Trent huffed and gently picked her up from her seat, she slowly started to move and the frustration began.
He got out from the car and opened the car boot and took out the pram. He laid her down but she started crying. Trent tried to fight the urge not to call Y/n and say that “she’s crying what am I gonna do”. But instead of calling Y/n, he sent her a message.
Trent: N is crying and I have to go inside the training ground
You: Trent I’m busy but try holding her for a minute or so
Trent: Thanks that helps a lot
You: 😒
Trent did what his heart told him to do. He picked Novalie up from the pram, she was crying and it felt like she was never going to stop. But Trent held her close to him and hummed
“My little love, I see your eyes widened like an ocean, when you look at me so full of my emotions”
He stroke her head softly and heard how she immediately stopped crying, and Trent found himself laughing at it because he thought how proud Y/n is going to be.
He kept her close to himself as he entered the training ground and walked up to the first team dining room, he also brought Novalie’s nursing bottle and sat down and fed her.
“What am I witnessing!” A loud happy voice echoed, Trent looked up to see it was his fullback friend, Robbo. Trent chuckled and Robbo sat down opposite him.
“She’s getting older I see” Robbo said and looked at Novalie.
“Yeah, time flies” Trent answered and smiled at Robbo then Hendo entered the conversation.
“Thought you weren’t capable of having here here alone” Hendo joked and Robbo tried not to get in trouble by laughing out loud.
“Haha very funny mate” Trent mumbled and a small grin appeared on his face whist meeting his teammates eyes.
“Jokes aside, is Y/n away or?” Hendo continued.
“She’s busy with work today otherwise I wouldn’t brought the kiddo” Trent explained and Novalie grabbed Trent’s finger as a sign that she was awake and wanted to play.
“You guys can look after her right while I’m getting ready for the training session right?” Trent asked his teammates and without a response he handed Robbo the nursing bottle and got up from the chair and Hendo received Novalie in his arms.
Trent couldn’t wait to get home, he had so much to tell you about his day. He wanted to see how much your face would lighten up when he’s going to tell you everything that he accomplished in one day as a father.
He looked over at Novalie who was again sleeping in the car on their way home. She was tired after a long day at daddy’s work and all the playing with Robbo.
When he had drove the final turn of the car journey his excitement and the wait to hug you grew stronger, and finally he parked outside the house and woke Novalie up. She didn’t cry this time, Trent’s technique worked but basically it was yours, but he liked to say it was his.
The lights were on as he entered the house, and his eyes scanned the room for you but he didn’t find you. He held Novalie in his arms as he walked up the stairs, entering your shared bedroom to find you sleeping.
“She’s just like you” Trent whispered and pointed his finger at you to show Novalie. He looked at you in awe and thought about how cute you are when you’re sleeping. He sat down by the bed beside you, tucking one strand of hair behind your ear and whispered your name.
You slowly started to wake up, when you came home from work you were tired apparently so tired that you dozed off. You opened your eyes to see a smiling Trent that sat beside you with your daughter on his lap. You just woke up and it felt like you were still half asleep, but the smile on you face was wide enough to wake you up properly.
You sat up and took Novalie from Trent’s embrace and hugged her.
“My little Novie, I’ve missed you” You cooed and Novalie seemed to have missed you too as she grabbed your finger with her tiny hand.
“Hi baby” You smiled at Trent who just sat there and admired you both. You moved closer to him and kissed his cheek then his plumped heart shaped lips. He smiled against your lips and your heart melted, you could feel his happiness.
“How did it go today?” You said and pulled away from him.
“Okay first of all, I have won the competition of who can stop her from crying when she’s waking up” He beamed.
“Is that so?” You said as you raised your eyebrows.
“Yep, all you have to do is, oh wait I can’t give away my secret” He chuckled and you slapped him lightly on his arm for him to tell you.
“Tell me please I’ve tried everything, I’m the one who need it the most!” You complained and gave him the look that would make him tell you.
“I did what you told me to do” Trent explained.
“And what did I tell you?”
“You really have a bad memory huh?” Trent teased and laughed.
“You told me to hold her for a minute and I did, just added a little Adele to it” Trent revealed and you weren’t surprised when you heard that he sang Adele to her, you’ve heard it before when he’s been putting Novalie to bed.
”Then I’ll have to try it next time” You noted and Trent got up from the bed making his way downstairs, before you stopped him.
“Hey, I’m proud of you” You called and walked up to him, his eyes fell on yours and your lips met.
“I love you, you should know that you’re such a great dad and I’m lucky to have you by my side Trent” You whispered and stroke his hair as he lifted up his head from your shoulder, his attention turned to something else.
He poked on your shoulder for you to witness what he was seeing. Novalie stood up for the first time, and you and Trent couldn’t believe your eyes.
“Are you seeing what I am seeing” You gasped and sat down, reaching out your hands for Novalie to walk into your embrace.
“Good girl! Oh my gosh Trent did you see that!?” You beamed and picked up Novalie and hugged her as you went up to Trent that had the widest smile on his face.
“Yes! I can finally play footy with her now” Trent proclaimed and you giggled, happier than ever with your little family.

Time Alone.
Jey Uso x Reader
Rating: 18 +
Warning: Smut & a slight mention of a stomach bulge.
“Time was something that didn’t even seem to exist to you. But, your husband Jey does sure know how to have a fun time.”
A/N: I just had to write a little something for my Main Event Jey Uso, and after seeing his Instagram story this past week… It was my destiny 😭😭. I did say that I would release this yesterday, so let’s just consider this a little Valentine’s Day piece.
GIF: @rebecca-quin
Tumblr media
Being a business owner of your own makeup brand, Zeta Cosmetics, and being a full time mother to four kids was really tough. Even though your husband Jey, was a big time help and support system, it was still super difficult to balance everything. And you’re blessed to have such smart and active children, but you’re starting to think they’re a little too active.
The fact that three of your children had different after school activities, was a WHOLE struggle in itself. Your oldest daughter, did humanitarian volunteer work for an hour after school, then softball practice every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. NOT to mention, she just got her first job, and guess who has to take her to work? Yup… it’s me. Then, your first son, wants to be an all sport MVP, cause he just plays every single sport there is. So, his practices are just all over the place. Your second daughter is a cheerleader for her brothers football team and has weekly cheer competitions. The hair, the makeup, the uniforms, and that monthly fee… She’s lucky she looks absolutely adorable with that little bow on her head. And your last child, which is your son, is only 10 months old. So, he’s basically the Pomeranian that you keep in your purse DAILY.
Kids are such wonders, but mama needs a break sometimes.
“Hey baby”, your husband Jey said smiling through the phone. “I miss you so much. Why did you have to leave me this week for your crazy ass twin?!” You said chuckling.
“Put some respect on my name sis.” Said the crazy ass twin himself, Jimmy. “I ain’t gotta do a damn thing, you took my man from me”, “He was mine first anyway”. Jimmy said sticking his tongue out at you. “Okay, okay, let’s not fight.” Jey said sternly. “But, listen baby I know how tired you are, and I wanna make sure my lady good. So, pack a little overnight bag, the jet is gonna be ready in about four hours.” “What are you up to boy?…” You said smirking slightly.
“Don’t worry about it, you know I got you girl.” Jey said showing that blazing smile. “Okay, but what kind of clothes am I supposed to be wearing sir?!” “Well, I was hoping you’d be wearing nothing. But, it’s somewhere a little tropical, so I guess that gives you the chance to just to what it do”. “Can you not talk about Y/N being naked, I think I’m gonna throw up”, said his goofy older brother. “I know you not talking Jimmy. Don’t let me get Trin on that ass.” “Y’all just stupid”, Jey said giving a breathless laugh.
“But, I’ll see you later tonight, alright baby.” “Wait… what about the kids?!” “I’m WAYYYY ahead of you. I got my mom and pops on that.” Thank god he had that sorted out, even though it’s gonna be a little hard to leave my babies, we could use some time alone. “I’ll see you tonight.” “See you tonight”. ~FaceTime ends.~
5 hours later
Jey is the best you could ever ask for. After packing your overnight bag, and saying bye to the kids. It was you and the love of your life… forever. He took you to a quick day and a half trip to Cuba. The villa you guys were staying at was absolutely gorgeous and the workers were radiantly exceptional. “This is so beautiful baby.” You said blushing. “I’m glad you like it, you know the Tribal Chief knows all the vacation hot spots.” “He damn sure does. But… he never stayed in this specific room. Right?!” Jey looked at you and said, “I’m pretty sure they have multiple honeymoon suites.” “Thank god, cause you don’t know what that man does.” You said barely being able to hold in your laughter. Jey laughed along with you.
Since the trip was pretty short, you guys had to make the most of it. By sleeping first, since there was no time difference and it was late at night. But, by tomorrow you guys would be up and at em’.
Soon the morning came and the workers at the villa surprised us with a lovely breakfast. Following us taking showers and getting ready, it was time for the tour. The tour guides showed us around the city and as we were on the tour, we jumped straight into every single activity there is to do. Snorkeling, scuba diving, and surfing. Even though I don’t smoke, cigars are something that are widely used in Cuba. So, one puff wouldn’t hurt. After our morning and afternoon endeavors, we stopped by La Guarida in Havana for a lovely dinner at the top floor of the restaurant. He is more than you could ever ask for.
Jey always seemed to have a tough exterior, but he was a huge softie for anything romantic. We later arrived back at our villa and where a trail of rose petals and sensuous candles led into the bedroom. “Now… what is this Joshua?!” You said turning to him with a sly smirk on your face.
“Its some time alone that you deserve”.
As we have both known from experience… we had to blow out all of the candles first. Jey then took my waist into his hands and held me tight. As if he didn’t want to let go. We started to make out with one another, our tongues fighting for dominance, and Jey winning the battle. He gently laid me on top of the comfort heart shaped bed and pulled the zipper of my short bodycon dress down. Jey started to my massage my breasts as if he were yearning for them. I slid the rest of my dress down my body, as Jey continued his assault on my breasts. “Mmmm…-, it feels so good baby”. I moaned to my husband as he said, “Imma make you feel something real good.”
He quickly removed my panties and flipped me over to all fours. Jey pushed his hand into the middle of my back to get me to arch. “That’s just how I like it baby, stay like that”. I then heard him pulling off his shirt and unbuckling his belt from his slacks. His pants made a thud onto the white marbled tiled floor and the bed plummets down as he arrived on top of it. “Aaaaa- oooHhh my goddd”. I moaned loudly as Jey dove right into my wetness. His tongue basically playing mind games on me. It felt like I didn’t know where I was.
“Shit tastes so fucking good mama, I could eat it all day if I could.” His words of appreciation make me gush out even more. The intimacy levels were through the roof as he paused his eating to finally give me what I’ve been wanting.
He entered me so smoothly, as my cunt was slick. “Damn baby, it’s like a waterfall up in here. That’s what I do to you… huh?!” Jey said. “Yes baby that’s what you do to me, now please fuck me.” “My pleasure.” Jey said as he started to profoundly pound into my hot sex. My moans couldn’t stop, the pleasure was just too much. “uhh-huh—hhhh”, my moans started filling the room. Jey started to pull on my hair and spank me repeatedly. “You like that shit.. huh?!” He said. “Ye-ssss, I love ii-ttt, give me more”. And Jey did as you wished. It felt as if he was in your stomach, as that thought crossed your mind. Jey put his hand onto your stomach and said, “You feel that baby, I’m in your stomach.” You took your hand from the sheets and placed in onto your stomach.
He really was in my stomach
I felt his cock bulge into my stomach and my eyes rolled back. Jey continues to give it to me and I felt my climax reaching its point. “Baby, I’m gonna cum.” “Go ahead baby, I’m there with you”. Jey said as his thrust became sloppy and grunts lowered. We both reached our peaks at the same time. I lied flat on the bed and Jey right beside me. “That was so good baby, we gotta do it like that every time”. Jey said with his forearm over his face. “But, we need more time alone before that.”
“You know I got you on that baby.” Said Jey smiling at you.
Just some more time alone.
THE END.
Let me know what you guys think about this and if I should write for more members of the Bloodline. Maybe even for other superstars

Well guys it seems you’ve made your choice!
I’m so happy that you want me to write this because I’m SO EXCITED!!
For a short introduction of her, I’ll be explaining her powers overall, personality and a bit of the plot for the story!
Y/N is a beautiful woman with (whatever body type you have because y’all are beautiful) with long curly hair that goes back to her lowe back. (Or whatever hair you prefer) she has your colored eyes and whatever outfit you choose but in my imagination she has a similar dress like mother Gothel from tangled.
Tumblr media
( If you don’t know what it looks like it’s this! )
Now to go on about her personality, if you met her in real life you would probably think it say.. “..what a bewitching woman..”
Which is very very true.
To describe her she’s a very passionate, curious and confident woman, especially in her skills she is.
Like Circe she had the power to turn people into any animal she deems fit, a lion? Go ahead! A mouse?! Done! Any animal or even object she’ll turn you into just like that.
But that’s not even all as she has the power to control life, plants and roses of any poissons or thorns that’ll cut you and leave you lying down on the cold floor, your heart slowly stopping a beat in only just a few seconds.
Her fighting skills are very excellent as well, what? You didn’t think all she was good for was magic did you?
She’s very flexible and fast with her attacks, whether she’s hitting you in the chin with a giant vine/ beanstalk, or wrapping your body tight with thorns and knocking you unconscious with a kick she’s very powerful ether way.
She might even learn to use her magic to control more elements than earth..(hint hint)
But of course..she won’t be powerful enough..
This is a yandere story after all..with multiple pirates chasing after that are of course more powerful than her and could knock her off her feet.
But will she escape? Or be in clutches of obsession forever..? We’ll see..
The plot is that she’s living in a island filled with plants roses, vines of all sort. Poisonous and sone to just show off their beauty of course.
She’s currently living with an old woman who taught her the ways of witchcraft and always getting on her case about wanting to go adventure the seas.
Everything was a bit basic and normal..nothing out of place..
Until the strawhats came of course..
They were interested in her like no one else,
Hell even zoro melted like butter!
So peculiar you could say…
Whether she’s making up new moves and combos involving nature with ‘captain’ usopp, or lazing around with zoro on deck and taking a good nap. Maybe even cooking with sanji while he swoons over you and almost had to go to chopper for the bloodloss, even just sitting in Nami’s office while she works on a map and doodling on a piece of paper innocently.
They just can’t get enough of her…and of course would do anything for her to join the crew.
Even if it means ‘sadly’getting rid of a few people…
Of course the straw hat crew isn’t the only ones who’ll be charmed by her..
The others include
Enel, Boa Hancock, Sir Crocodile, Shanks, Mihawk, Law, Kidd and more…
I don’t want to spoil much more so I hope this short introduction helped you get just a bit excited for this story m’y lovelies <3~
And btw I’m still taking requests!!
A new story will be out soon btw!
Love you all 🌸❤️

Hey! Hope you're having a great week!
I'd like to make a request about harvey and witch!reader (GN) who gifts him potions or invites him to do little rituals.(stuff like that)
This could be HCs or a little oneshot or whatever you're comfortable with!
(If that's too much, sorry/gen)
🦉-
A/N: you wanna know something funny? I wasn’t gonna announce it yet(as if anyone cares lmao) but I’m planning on doing musical inspired fics and the very first one I’m writing is about witch!reader(gender neutral) x Rasmodius! So you were literally in tune with me about the reader being a witch lmao. Also I hope you’re having a great week(and all the great weeks for forever) too!!
Tw:Witchcraft? Some stuff may be inaccurate I do not practice witchcraft at all so I am very ignorant. Cursing. A sexual mention (not bad or graphic I promise it’s just a lil jokey joke.) 1 mention of the war going on in the game.
Wc: 17 bulletpoints (i think) 0.6k for the oneshot
Sdv Masterlist
I personally think that Harvey has no experience AT ALL with witchcraft and magic or anything.
His experience is that he has watched scary movies with witches, and has seen every single episode of Charmed.
So he’s not really scared, just wary, especially since there is an actual Wizard that lives right outside of town.
So when you start becoming friends and you tell him that you’re a witch and partake in witchcraft he’s very….
I literally cannot explain without using an emoji I hope y’all can see it it’s just 😃
Like he’s literally like “hmm okay guess that’s something that’s part of my life now”because he likes you so much
If it was anyone else he would’ve been sorta like…that’s something I’m not comfy with
But with you he’s like “yeah okay I guess I can deal with this”
The first time you gift him a potion he is very confused like wtf is this for
You’re like “hehe it’s to help you have more energy🥰”
He is VERY HAPPY with how well it works and the fact that you made the potion taste GOOD
Like the medicine he sells in the clinic for energy tastes like absolute ass and he never takes it himself.
But you literally gave him a solution
Also a potion to get rid of insomnia(at least temporarily)
He is all for it especially since it’s you teaching him.
He actually allows you to sell your potions in the clinic for certain things like helping Granny Evelyn deal with her bad knees and arthritis.
Actually in love with you, and he has decided that even if you used a love potion on him he wouldn’t care at all.
The moon is slowly rising in the night sky by the time Harvey can lock up the clinic to head to your farm. He’s nervous, he has been to your place before, yes, but this is the first time you’ve invited him to be a part of a ritual that you’re doing. He doesn’t know what it is specifically, while on the phone you were very playful and vague. It takes him an hour to get to your place, he walks briskly, the wind whipping his hair around.
The closer he gets, the more his heart pounds and he feels the urge to turn back and go home. It’s not that he’s scare of you, in fact he trusts you with his life, he just is anxious about the ritual and what you have to do. His phone buzzes in his pocket the second he stops and he sees your name pop up.
Farmer: don’t you dare turn around.
i’ll turn you into a frog if you do.
okay i won’t but hurry up and get here.
He couldn’t help but smile at your words, and how you knew that he was getting cold feet. Harvey sends a reply and continues walking. This night is going to change his life, he knows it.
He knocks on your door, bouncing on his feet as he waits, too cold to just stand there. You open the door, and he is hit with the smell of what he thinks is cinnamon, and the warmth of the inside of your home. Your smile is so bright that he insults himself internally for even thinking of turning around.
“You’re here!” You grab at his arm to pull him inside, helping him take off his coat to hang it up. “I thought you would’ve changed your mind.”
“Never, not when you invited me.” You send a soft smile his way while leading him to your bedroom. He had never really been in it before, only seeing it from the living room or hallway when he’s passing by. It makes his heart thump so loudly that he fears that you can hear it.
“You ready?”
“Yeah…what kind of ritual is this?”
“A sex ritual.” He chokes on his saliva. You invited him to do a sex ritual? He thinks for a second that he doesn’t think that you were at that point yet, but he isn’t mad at it, he wouldn’t oppose it if this is really what you want to do.
“A sex ritual?”
“Yeah,” your eyes shine with mischief, “to make us super horny, totally. We’re gonna summon an incubus.”
Harvey can’t stop his eyes from widening at your words. “O…Kay?” You laugh loudly at him, doubling over and wheezing, your eyes closed in delight.
“I-“ you almost fall to the ground still laughing hard. “I’m joking! We’re doing a ritual to make sure that the beginning of next year will be good for everyone, and we’re doing a second one to protect the valley from monsters, especially with the war going on.”
He lets out a loud breath, sort of relieved but also sort of disappointed. He really did want to see you summon some sort of sex demon, it would be really funny now that he thinks about it.
Taking his hand, you grin as you pass him some ingredients. As you begin to read off how to do the ritual, he decided then and there that he has to ask you on a date, and maybe to do a ritual to make sure that the date goes well, he’d regret it if he didn’t.

You’d soon travel down to Harlem’s hottest club of the early 20th century, ‘The Cotton Club’, and an interaction with one of your inspirations would change the trajectory of your life, forever.

A warm, summer rain pitter-pattered across the glass of your bedroom window as you began cleaning up your space. It was a comfy afternoon, almost evening, the sun peaking through the clouds and beaming down on the town, preparing for its set. It was gorgeous outside. And despite it's rather saturating nature, many people were outside on their front porches. There were so many things to do in Harlem. So many places to see. And yet you felt you could die of boredom. If you weren't busy cleaning or babysitting the neighbors kids, you were receiving a 15-page verbal essay from your mother about how dangerous the city was and how 'there ain't nothing in Harlem but drugs, scams, and prostituting!'. I mean sure it could be dangerous at times. But where in the world isn't? You just knew that as much as there were frights, there were sights. Opportunity was left and right in this town. All your favorite artists and musicians grew up right here, and you wanted to join that list.
“Alright, Y/N/N,” your mom began, putting on her jacket, grabbing her things, and approaching your bedroom door. I’m off to work. Remember to drop the evening papers by Miss Jeanine after you finish cleaning. And no clubs!”
You sighed with immediate annoyance. “But Ma—“
“No butts!” She warned sternly. “Unless it’s yours in that bed there, immediately after. Do I make myself clear?”
“Yes, ma’am.” You respectfully reply, feeling defeated.
You were 21, soon to be 22, but Mother didn’t believe in ‘legal adult decision making’. As long as you were her child and under her roof, you complied by her rules. You understood her always being protective over you; You even appreciated it. But at this moment and time of your life, it felt more like a hinderance than anything else.
“Alright now. I’ll see you later. I love you,” she says on her way out.
“Love you too Ma,” you reply faintly, and with that, the door shuts.
You fall back down on your bed behind you, with a big exhale, staring up at your popcorn ceiling. It was such a lovely day. You should be somewhere dancing, or hanging with your best friend Josephine. Even watching the neighbors kids wouldn’t be so bad right now. At least you’d be out in the backyard.
Tonight was also one of hottest summer nights to be at the Cotton. Billie Holiday, Ma Rainey, and Salome Otterbourne were all performing. It was certain to be a full house, for sure. The three black female jazz pioneers were on tour, and this would be the only time in a while that anybody would be able to see them all perform in one night. Dozens of people even travel from out of state on nights like these. That also meant that there’d be a bunch of travel scouts and agents, waiting on more talent to grab and take under their wing. You were nauseated at the thought of even missing it for a moment.
You got up to finish your cleaning, and halfway through, you heard the door open and shut, followed by a familiar voice that you knew and loved so much.
“Why the long face, sugar?” It asked, making sure you’d turn around to see their smile.
“Grandpa!” You ran to him with open arms, beaming with joy.
Your grandfather was your best friend. Since you were a little girl, he took you under his wing. Your dad left to pursue his music dreams when you were younger, so your grandfather was also the Dad you never had. He always spoke life into you, and made sure that no matter what, you knew that you were capable of any and everything. He also instilled you with the unwavering confidence to back that. Grandpa’s think-pieces were like gold. He was very wise, and had been through it all. He’d always say:
'Don’t let anybody take you for a fool! Not even me!' And laughed. But he was serious. "What's going on? Lorraine got you in this house cleaning all day again?" He says in your defense, as he often does. You let out an exhausting puff of a sigh before plopping back down on your bed. "Yea Pop. As usual." You shifted your body towards him and stared at the ground in deep thought, pausing before continuing. "I mean, life has got to be a little more exciting than this, don't it?" He laughed a low, hearty chuckle. "There's always more excitement, Y/N/N. You just gotta find it. Don't wait for opportunity, create it!" He says affirmably, allowing you to comfortably reveal what you've been thinking about all week. "I really wanna go to the Cotton tonight, Grandpa. Salome Otterbourne is performing tonight! And a bunch of other singers and talents and--well--I'm gonna be here, missing it." You look down and fidget your thumbs around each other. "Well why don't you go?" He asks. "You know Mama don't want me around no clubs, Pop. Besides, I told her I would take the evening papers down to Miss Jeanine." You reply in slight aggravation. "Ohhh," He scoffs and waves his hand down in dismissal. "Don't let that child stop you. I'll take the papers down to Jeanine." Your eyes lit up in pleasant surprise and excitement. "Oh you will?!" "Don't worry about it." He says, a confident smirk creeping onto his face. "Go on and enjoy yourself. I don't know where Lorraine gets all that strictness from anyway. Me and Betty ain't raise that child like that. Besides, she's seen and DONE worse." You both share a big laugh. "Thanks Grandpa. You're the best!" You jump up and wrap your arms around the big guy, holding the embrace for a while. "Anything for my favorite granddaughter." He says jokingly. "I'm your only granddaughter, Grandpa." You reply giggling. "I know. Now gone and figure out what you're going to wear. I hear that Mrs. Otterbourne is looking for another back up vocalist for her band." He tells you as if he just revealed the world's biggest secret. You, performing with Salome Otterbourne and her band. Your stomach turned and the mere thought of it. You kissed your Grandpa on the cheek before rushing to the bathroom to get ready for your highly anticipated night. Your mind rushed with all the possibilities of the night's events. You'd be in the same room with people and experiencing things you've once only dreamed of. Intimidating it was, but your desire to even just be in that energy was bigger. .. After lotioning up and powdering down, you slipped on a cool lavender silk midi dress, with spaghetti straps and a flowy, skirt-like bottom. You leaned into the mirror of your vanity, shaping up your thin brows, rolling on your winged liner, and coating your lips with a nude pink gloss, a shade brighter than your natural lip color. You used your same liner to add your infamous faux face moles; one above your lip, one at the tip of your nose, and one at the top corner of your cheek bone. You placed two diamond stud earrings into your ears, decorated your left wrist with a rose gold watch, and clamped your custom microphone necklace around your neck, gifted by your Grandfather. Lastly, pulling your look together, you peel off your bonnet and hair net, coat your fingers with oil, and take out each of your curls, wrapped around perm rods. You fluffed and shaped your hair into its short, curly and tapered state, much like Sheila Guyse. You stood and wrapped your mesh shawl around your shoulders. You walked over to your tall, door mirror and scanned your body, turning each angle, before spritzing your figure with Blue Grass, by Elizabeth Taylor. You always put effort into your look, but tonight was definitely a little extra. You needed to look and feel the part. Like you belonged there, just with everyone else. You grabbed your white clutch hand purse, matching your white pumps before walking out to the living room. "So," you say to your Grandfather, doing a quick and excited 360. "How do I look?"
"Oh, Y/N," Grandpa says swiping across and covering his mouth to conceal his emotional expression. "You look beautiful. Just like your grandmother." Grandma has passed when you were 7. You had faint memories of her. But one thing you did remember, was how madly in love your Grandfather was. You always said you'd want to be loved just like that when you were older. All the family would constantly remind you of how much you looked like her, and even carried a lot of her personality traits.
"Thanks, Pop." You reach down to hug him and wipe his tear before stepping back and giving him an 'It's okay' smile. "Alright, I'm heading out!" "Alright now, have fun and be safe! Be back by 11, and please, don't give your mother anymore reasons to kill me." He says, almost pleading. "You got it, Pop." You chuckled and walked out the door, closing it tightly behind you. You looked out at the busy block and took a deep sigh before walking down your porch steps and strutting down the street, on your way to the Cotton.
..
When you arrived, the scene was just like you imagined, only even bigger. Bright lights cascaded from all around the venue, and herds of people were beginning to gather. Cars were beeping and honking, forcing to navigate through traffic with all these people taking up the area, many cars stopping just to see what was going on. Above your head were the list of household names making an appearance tonight. Men and women all throughout the area were dressed up in their absolute best. Valet was working overtime & security was tight. It felt like something out of a movie.
You staggered in front the building, and before you knew it, it was your time to walk in. It was no turning back now.
There was a warm, dim but radiant tone to the room. You seen pimps, hustlers, singers, showgirls, every type of personality you could imagine.
Sounds of bass, saxophones, and pianos filled up the club with a soothing but strong undertone. You walked in, looking around in awe at the set up. The seats were almost filled. You were certain you had to sit in the back, but you didn’t mind. Being in the room was enough. Just as you turned to go back, you spotted your best friend Josephine, sitting in front with an older gentlemen.
“Y/N!,” She called out to you, waving you over and patting the seat next to her.
“Girl!” Overwhelm with excitement, you almost run to where she was and accepted her seat offer. “What are you doing here!”
“I didn’t tell you?” She questions. “My Uncle Johnny is playing bass for Mrs. Holiday. I tried calling to invite you, but your mom said you were busy.”
Typical mother. You really wish she’d stop answering for you. You rolled your eyes, but decided not to build on it.
“Oh, well good for him!” You say with sincerely, with a bright smile.
The two of you briefly caught up before the lights dimmed and the announcer came out to direct what would be one of the most riveting moments of your life.
..
A few acts had already performed, and you were completely enamored. Jazz and blues were your absolute favorite genre, but to hear it live and in person in all its emotion and vulnerability was euphoric. It was life changing. Entertained you were, but all in all, you felt a strong confirmation. You were certain that this was the path you wanted to take. Every strum of string, every note belted, sent chills down your spine. Singing and performing, especially with a live band felt so natural. It felt warm and welcoming— like a warm fudge brownie with cold ice cream on top. The contrast was clear, but together it went so well.
“And now ladies and gentlemen,” The announcer began. “I present to you, singer, musician, and hit phenomenon, Salome Otterbourne!”
He disappeared into the curtains, his presenting arm being the last thing to disappear as Salome approached the stage from the other end. The crowd erupted; cheers, claps, whistles. You turned to grab Josephine's wrists, that were wrested in her lap, the two of you looking at each other and exchanging an excited squeal. She was stunning. She stood tall above the silver microphone on its stand, wearing a powdered pink blouse and skirt set, with a hat and a flowered wrist garnish to match. She had on white silk gloves, covering the hands that held the stand, one up high and one down low, close to her lips and she began to sing her rendition of Bessie Smith's Tain't Nobody's Bizness If I Do. There ain't nothing I can do, or nothing I can say That folks don't criticize me But I'm goin' to do just as I want to anyway And don't care if they all despise me If i should take a notion To jump into the ocean 'Tain't nobody's business if I do, do, do, do If I go to church on Sunday Sing the shimmy down on Monday Ain't nobody's business if I do, if I do
She sang every word as if she wrote it herself. It was fitting, seeing that Salome was a confident, self-assured woman. You looked around to scan her band. There were two guys on strings. Another on the sax. One on trombone. And to the left of Salome, the pianist. A woman. She was the only other woman on stage besides the main singer, and she was playing for her. It was rare to see female musicians. And not only was she playing piano, but she was singing backup as well. She was gorgeous. She had pretty, cinnamon brown skin, narrow, sparkly eyes, and the prettiest smile you ever saw. She was on the taller side and had a slim but sturdy frame. Her hair was in a pin-curled bob, parted to the side, accentuating her sharp jaw structure. "Who is that?" You semi-whispered to your friend, intrigued. "That's Rosalie Otterbourne." She leaned in and whispered back, eyes still glued to the stage. "Salome's niece, if I'm not mistaken." "Oh." You reply back. The only thing you could say really. She was breath-taking, and seemingly just as talented as her aunt. As the song continues, she briefly averts her attention the crowd and her eyes are met with yours. Stopping and holding her gaze for a second, fingers still tap dancing with the instruments keys, she slightly tilts her head and flashes you a smile. You felt your heart begin to take on an unfamiliar arrangement of beats. Taken aback, you sheepishly smiled back, shakily lifting up your hand to give a small wave. She acknowledges it before returning her attention to her piano and back at Mrs Salome as they join in on the next verse. If my friend ain't got no money And I say, "Take all mine, honey" 'Tain't nobody's business if I do, do , do do If I give him my last nickel And it lives me in a pickle 'Tain't nobody's business if I do, If I do
“Holy shit, Y/N/N,” Josephine tugs at your side. “I think she just smiled at you.”
Okay so she saw that too. Surely it wasn’t for me directly. She was being courteous to her audience.
As the song came to an end, the crowd erupted once again.
“How y’all doing tonight New York? Y’all good?” She asks scanning out to the crowd. When answered by more cheers and whistles, she continued. “Alright, that’s what Salome Otterbourne like ta hear!”
“Tonight is a very special night for me. I’m back home and I have to say you all make me feel so welcomed.” She says with a sassy smile. She proceeds to introduces all the members of her band, leaving her for the end.
“And last but certainly not least, on the piano and back ground vocals, my lovely niece, manager, brain and backbone, Miss Rosalie Otterbourne!” She stands tall and blows a few two-handed kisses out across the room and seals her welcome acceptance with a big warm smile. For whatever reason, in the moment, it felt as if time stood still.
Time progressed as Salome and her band finished out their set. You were sad to see it end so soon. It was such a beautiful arrangement of music. People began to scatter; some leaving, some going to the bar, some going to dance. Some even went to ask for autographs and things of that nature. After awhile the chaos began to subside, and there Salome and her team was, alone, packing their things. You wondered if it was your time to approach. Even if she didn’t get to hear you sing, at least you could express to her how much her music quite literally saved you. As all these different thoughts browsed through your brain, your best friend, Josephine, took a page out of its catalog, as she often did, turning to say,
“Look there go Salome and them, finally by themselves. You should go say something!" She exclaimed, mid-chew of her olive that previously rested in the middle of her martini glass. You began to get sheepish. You had thought the same, but you now you were unsure. "Say what, Jose?" She turned to face you completely. "I don't know, but make your existence known. Tell her you sing or something!" "Yeah," you scoffed. "And embarrass myself?"
"Now, don't start that mess," She began, ready to get you together, as she often did. Not to mention she was the only one who could besides your grandpa. "You and I both know you're just as talented as anybody on that stage. And we always both know that you aren't shy." She was right. Being nervous about meeting an idol was regular, but you had prepared yourself for this moment over a million times. But you weren't sure why this specific time had you tucking your tail. "Besides," she continued. "Maybe you could introduce yourself to that pretty gal, Rosalie." She flashed you a smirk. Your eyes grew so wide they almost popped out of their sockets. Josephine could read you like a book. You never discussed or confessed aloud of your feelings toward other women. Not because you were ashamed, but you felt much like the song; ain't nobody business if I do. You choked out a breathy, nervous chuckle before you could began to speak. "Wha--" "Oh, save it. Now go!" She gave you a small but hefty push towards the direction of the stage. You stumbled forward, looking back to grill your best friend before straightening out your dress, dusting yourself off, and taking a deep breath. With that, you took all the confidence you did in that moment and used to it fuel your feet's motion toward the front of the stage. You'd been up there for all of maybe ten seconds before you were spotted. Her loud and heavy laugh drifting from off the end of her last sentence to her bandmate, she turned around from her kneeled position and gave you a small smile. "Hey Sugar. Can I help you?" "Oh n-no Miss Otterbourne I jus--" she shook her head and cut you off mid-sentence. "Please, child, Salome is just fine." You half-smiled at her correction. "Well, Salome. You were phenomenal tonight. Your voice and your arrangements are just what jazz has been missing." You say to her sincerely, hand in hand. "Aren't you sweet," She chuckles at your sincerity. "Well thank you, Sugar. I've worked hard for my sound. You know what they say, you want something done right --" "Do it yourself." You both say simultaneously and you laugh. "I'm with you on that one." You were pleasantly surprised how down to earth she was. "This is exactly why I'm in charge of keeping things together. Auntie where'd Ernie put that cas--" Rosalie came out from behind the stage, stopping mid-sentence once she'd seen you. "Who's this?" She points, asking what of your presence as if you weren't standing right there. You mentally laugh at her rudeness, knowing she didn't purposely mean to do it. "I'm Y/N." "She came to tell us how much she liked the show." Salome helped you finish your introduction. "Is that right," She asks rhetorically, raising her eyebrows, intrigued. "What part striked you the most?" You felt a wave of vibrations flow through your abdomen, immediately thinking of the glance the two of you shared in the midst of the performance. "W-well, I really enjoyed your rendition of T'aint nobody's business. I could relate on personal levels, but I felt that you could too. Especially that bridge. Salome, your vibrato is unreal. And with your tone, Rosalie, it blended perfectly." The singer and her accomplice looked at you with impressed eyes. "Well, well. That's some very specific terminology, Miss Y/N. Are we speaking to a fellow musician?" Rosalie asks, eager to hear your response. "Yes. A singer." You chose the confident route. You wanted to continue their interest. "Really?" Salome says matter-of-factly. "Well let us hear something, sugar!" You were having a hard time grasping that this was reality. You lived in the R.E.M part of your brain, playing out the different scenarios that would lead you to an interaction like this, but you never thought it'd be so soon. "You sure?" You ask honestly. "I know you're a busy woman." "Nonsense. Salome leave when Salome gets good and ready." She reassures you, speaking about herself in the third person once again.
"And if your voice is as pretty as you are, then we're in for a treat." Rosalie says, tossing a wink in your direction.
You felt a lump in your throat begin to form and hurriedly swallowed to force it to subside. You felt your cheeks began to heat up like a stove. Receiving a compliment was one thing, but receiving one from a woman of Rosalie's stature, successful, pretty, and poised, was another. You tried your hardest not to let it phase you, but you couldn't help but to let a flattered smile creep onto your face.
You briefly turned around to find your best friend across the room, smiling and giving you two thumbs up.
The band's bass player came over to take your hand and help you up the stage steps, directing you to where the mic was, still plugged in and hot.
Rosalie walked over to her piano and removed the cover she had just recently placed.
"Any preferences?" Rosalie asked.
"The Very Thought of You." You answered confidently, knowing how well the song complimented your voice. "Do you know it?"
"Billie Holiday." She says with a smile, proving her knowledge. "Like the back of my hand."
"Let's do it." You say, ready to take advantage of your moment.
Rosalie began fingering through the keys of her piano, playing up the intro of the song. As the melody began to fill up the venue, the people who remained in the building all focused their attention to the stage. You closed your eyes, let in a huge breath of air, and began to sing.
The very thought of you
And I forget to do
Those little ordinary things
That everyone ought to do
I'm living in a kind of daydream
I'm happy as a queen
And foolish though it may seem
To me that's everything
In this moment, it was you and the melodies that filled your ears alone. You sang just as you would if you were home in your room. Your voice was smooth and velvety. It could serenade you to sleep, or it could fill you with emotion. It was soft, two octaves away from breathy. It was easy to be attracted to your voice alone.
The mere idea of you
The longing here for you
You never know how slow the moments go
Till I'm near to you
I see your face in every flower
Your eyes in stars above
It's just the thought of you
The very thought of you, my love
You glanced in Rosalie's direction, secretly searching for a reaction, and was met by a dazed stare and watery eyes. Even outside of her usual, self-assured nature, she was so beautiful. You wondered what thoughts were flying through her pretty head.
You walked over to the piano and sat at the edge, close to Rosalie, and finished out the song beautifully, never breaking eye contact with her.
I see your face in every flower
Your eyes in stars above
It’s just the thought of you
The very thought of you, my love
Rosalie scanned your face with adored eyes as she played out the outro. You held your gaze, adlib-ing out the rest of the song and began to get lost in the pool of her pretty, chocolate brown eyes. The eruption of the crowd before you is the only thing that broke you from the hypnosis she placed you in.
You stood up again in front the crowd, placed your hands on your heart and gave a bow. You were so proud of yourself and simultaneously stunned. They loved you. The crowds reaction just confirmed all those nights you journaled about feeling called to be in the limelight. In the distance you could see Josephine, practically jumping up and down, mouthing “That’s my girl!”
It was a long, loud applause and standing ovation. At this point, people were beginning to get curious about who you were and where you even came from. With that, the cat-calling also began.
“Hold on, where you from, baby?!“ One man shouted.
“Can I take you home?” Another one followed.
You were too starstruck by your own self to be annoyed by men and their ignorance. In fact, it humored you in this moment. Once the crowd begin to subside, Salome ran up to you.
“Well I’ll be damned!” She says, clasping her hands together. “Sista you can blow!”
Nods and sounds of approval were given by the rest of the crew.
“Says you!” You say brightly. “Thank you, Salome. And thank you for allowing me to sing on your stage.”
“Don’t thank me yet,” She says, leaving you with slight confusion. “What does the rest of your weekend look like?”
Cleaning. Possibly babysitting. Absolutely nothing exciting.
“Nothing much, really.”
“Well, I have a couple more stops to make and perform at before we get back on the road. I want you to come perform with me.” She says sincerely.
You were there with a stunned look on your face. You were at a lost of words, and when you finally find them, they come out more blunt than you expected, “Quit playin’.”
The older woman laughed. “Serious as a heart attack, Sugar. Leave your home number with Rosalie, and stay by the phone. We have business to discuss.” She walked off to other side of the stage. You had to conceal your urge to scream your head off.
“Looks like you got yourself a job,” Rosalie began to walk up to you.
“Thanks to you. Where’d you learn to play like that?” you ask genuinely interested.
“Where’d you learn to sing like that? I thought you was just bull-jiving.” You both laugh.
“I’ve been singing since I was a little girl. My mother always put me in the church choir, and I enjoyed it, so I held onto it.”
“Well you definitely got soul.” She exclaimed.
“Thank you.” You say, blushing at her intense focus on you as she spoke.
“So tell me,” She moves closer to you. “Did you mean what you said?”
You tilted your head slightly at her comment. “What did I say?”
“I see your face in every flower, just the mere thought of you, my love” She speaks the lyrics of the song you just sang.
You weren’t expecting that at all, your body slightly trembling underneath the words her forwardness.
“It’s just a song, Miss Rosalie.” You professed, keeping as much ground as you could. “I am a performer, and I performed.”
“Ahh,” She says nodding sarcastically. “A performance, was it? A stunning one, might I add.”
You playfully rolled your eyes at her sarcasm and her witt. The girl was indeed charming. And she wasn’t buying that you didn’t feel the tension that was brewing between the two of you.
“Rosie,” Salome called out. “We going on out to the car, when you ready, we can be on our way.”
“You got it,” Rosalie responded.
“Y/N!” Your best friend came running towards you, and you kneeled down towards the edge of the stage. “Girl you killed it! Brought tears to my eyes, I love seeing you in your element girl, you gone be rich!“ She rambles, saying the last part through clenched teeth. She stops and looks up.
“H-Hi Miss Otterbourne. Rosalie. I’m Y/N’s best friend Josephine.” She introduces herself.
“Hello darling,” Salome smiles. Rosalie waves.
“Well, girl,” she was now whispering. “I gotta go, my man is outside waiting for me, but call me when you get home and tell me EVERYTHING.”
You erupted in laughter. Josephine loved her some him.
“You so crazy. Enjoy yourself, and get home safe.” You say back, momentarily reaching for your best friends hand and squeezing it caringly.
“I will girl!” She runs off and out of the venue.
“Well, Miss Y/N,” Rosalie turns to you. “Where do you live? We could drop you off home.”
“Oh that won’t be necessary,” You assured her. “I live right up the street.”
Rosalie paused for a minute. “Come with me,” she grabbed your hand and the two of you scurried out through the exit backstage.
The warm outside breeze grazed your skin as the two of you began to walk semi-dark, summer streets. It wasn’t freezing, but it was a slight bitter chill that left you feeling more on the cold side.
“Here,” She took off her black, furry jacket and placed it around your arms. “It looks better on you anyway.” You gave a toothless smile at her comment.
“Did you actually enjoy my performance tonight?” You ask, somewhat serious.
“Did I?” She scoffs as if you said the most outrageous thing. “Absolutely breathtaking.”
You look down in nervousness. “You’re not so bad yourself. I mean I always knew she had other talented people in her circle but you,” You paused. “You have such a melodic voice. I enjoyed it very much.”
“Well thank you. Much like you, I keep my accolades undercover. It’s like a pleasant surprise. You think you know me and then— boom.” She illustrates her sentence, flicking her hands open, emulating fireworks.
“Well I don’t know how surprised I’d be considering how confident you are,” You say with an instance. “People like that always have something going on.”
“It takes one to know one, right?” She looks at you through low lids, her figure standing a few inches taller than you. For a while it’s silent. Suddenly, you blurt out something you’d only ever think of to yourself.
“Rosalie have you ever loved a woman?” You ask, almost regretting it, but still wanting to know her thoughts. She furrowed her eyebrows in interest, waiting for you to finish instead of answering right away.
“In the way.. you ain’t ‘supposed’ to love a woman?” you continued emphasizing the quotes, finishing your thought.
She sighed in relief. You sensed that you possibly could’ve opened a safe place for her to speak.
“I have loved women since I learned to walk and talk. My aunt and my band family are the only ones who know. They’d say, ‘Ole Rosalie couldn’t catch a man if she put a bra in a net!’ But they knew I didn’t want to. They ain’t give me no trouble. But everybody story ain’t like mine.” She opens up to you and you look at her with soft eyes.
“What about you?” She then turns to you, returning the question. “I’m guessing you have.”
“Nobody knows about me. Nobody but my bestfriend Josephine. I’ve never even been in love before. Not with a man either. But tonight, standing next to you I- I don’t know. I felt kinda like a school girl.”
Rosalie begins to laugh at your confession. She thought it was sweet. Secretly, she felt the same.
“Oh, stop it, It ain’t funny!” You say defensively, tapping her shoulder, but she continues to laugh. And you continue to fall. Before you could pull your hand back, she grabs it, and pulls you into her. The two of you stop walking momentarily, and it’s you, her, and this lonely street. She places a hand on your waist, the other still holding your hand, and comes close enough to your face to separate the two of you with a single piece of paper.
“Dance with me,” She breathes into you.
“But we ain’t got no music,” You say back, smiling foolishly at her impulses.
“Yes we do.” She begins to hum The Very Thought of You, and the two of you sway side to side, your feet moving in a circle around each other. You begin to him with her, the two of you harmonizing on every chorus. In this moment time stood still. An overwhelming feeling of adoration and excitement washed over you. You felt like the only girl in the world. She had a way of building on your romantic tension, all while making you feel like you gained another best friend. It was the perfect night, and you never wanted it to end.
The two of you stop your tango, and she pulls you in, kissing you ever so slowly and passionately. You felt yourself melt into her, the heat of your bodies keeping each other warm. You finally pull back and share a long gaze, her arms still holding you. Your moment was interrupting by a loud honk from a car coming around the corner.
BEEP BEEP.
“You two ready?” Salome smiled, hanging out the passenger window. “Get in!”
Rosalie led you to the back seat, her getting in first and you following, closing the door behind you.
“What’s your address, sugar?” Salome asked. You gave it to her, and off you all were.
“Oh,” Rosalie began, “Before I forget,” She grabs a pad and a pen from underneath the seat to give you. “Can’t leave without your number.”
You smile and take the materials from her hand.
555-8269 Y/N. You wrote in its red ink, drawing a small heart next to it, and kissing the paper, leaving the mark of your now halfway glossed lips. You folded it up and handed to her, and she delicately placed it in her purse. She slid her hand over top of yours, which now rested on your knee, and interlocked your fingers.
“I’ll be expecting you,” You say softly.
“First thing tomorrow morning.” She affirms to you, holding her intense gaze. She lifts up your hand and places a soft, gentle kiss on the back of it.
Before you knew it, you were pulling up in front of your house.
“Thank you again, Salome. I had a wonderful time.” You express, full of gratitude.
“Don’t mention it, doll. I’ve had a great night myself. Now make sure you stay by the phone, hear? You gone be a star. And I’m gone make sure of it.” She says, turning around to face you from her passenger.
“And I think my Rosalie is very fond of you.” She looks at her niece with a proud and accepting smile. Rosalie gives one back.
“Yes ma’am.” You say, blushing of slight embarrassment but also appreciation. You step out the car and walk up your concrete steps.
“Y/N,” Rosalie says out the window. You turn around.
“Yes?”
“Goodnight.” She says, holding onto every moment she has left of this night with you.
“Goodnight, Rosalie,” You say sweetly, but teasingly.
You walked into your home and crept up to your room, careful not to wake anyone up. You run up to look outside your window and watched as the car drove off. You couldn’t believe this was your life. But you were glad that it was.
All night your head spinned, accompanied by thoughts of you and Rosalie. The instant chemistry between the two of you left you in such a fuzzy state. It was the beginning of something new. It felt warm and welcoming— like a warm fudge brownie with cold ice cream on top. The contrast was clear.. but together, you went so well.

Pt 2: if only you knew
The Start of a Long Night
prologue and part one and part three!
word count: 4k
warnings: major violence, adult language, and angst
a/n: thank you guys so much for your patience. I’m so sorry this took literally forever to write and post. I’m not going to make excuses or anything, I just hope you guys like it. Pls give feedback! Love y’all 😘
Tumblr media
The entire night was one fight after another. You couldn’t remember the last time you stood still. The multiple close encounters and being thrown around had caused your outfit to tear, not to mention the grime that had accumulated was making you feel ten times heavier. Watching the last guy fall to the ground, you thought about how he must have been the twentieth guy you had fought.
You notice that Gotham is gradually getting brighter. The downpour had turned into a drizzle as you made your way towards the clock tower. Keeping off the street and using the roofs of Gotham for travel. Once at the clock tower, you looked around, ensuring no one had followed before allowing the entrance to open.
Bright light filled the room as Barbara used the computer. Surveillance footage and maps are pulled up. Hearing the door close, Barbara began speaking.
“Morning sunshine. How’s it going out there?” You almost missed her question. Her voice was so soft compared to the abrasive noises you had been around all night.
When you hesitate to respond, she turns to you. Her eyes take your appearance in. “God, you look rough.” Her face scrunches up as she notices the bloody splashes on your skin.
“Thanks, Barb.” The couch squeaks as you flop onto it. Your head instinctually goes back as your eyes shut, enjoying the brief moment of rest.
“Can I ask for a favor? I need an update on tech. My radio shit the bed halfway through the night.”
“You could call Lucius. Surely he’s got something that’ll help.”
Puffing air out through your nose, you object, “And have Bruce get wind of it?”
“He already knows you’re out there fighting. What’s wrong with him knowing you’re being safe about it?”
“It makes the risk of us running into each other much higher. I’d rather just avoid that altogether.”
“You’re going to have to see him, eventually. He cares about you, you know.”
“Yeah, I’m sure in his own emotionally constipated way he does.”
There’s a silence that falls over the room. Neither of you cares to break it. Having no strength to fight back, you let the silence pull you into sleep as your eyes grow heavy.
Jolting awake, you take in your surroundings. There’s sunlight coming through the small gaps in the shutters and Barbara is back at the computer. Groaning as you rub your face, you feel extra gross now that everything has dried.
“I decided to be nice and let you have my old stuff.” She tosses a thick smartphone-looking device and an earpiece at you.
“These are long-range devices. The comm has multiple lines you can connect to. I programmed mine, Tim’s, Bruce’s, and Dick’s, that way you’re not alone out there.”
“Thank you, this is amazing.” Getting quickly accustomed to the device before you head out to go to your apartment before nightfall.
“I’ll keep in touch tonight. It might help to have an extra pair of eyes on me.” You lean down to hug her. She smiles and hugs you back.
“Hopefully, things will go back to normal soon.”
You both know it won’t, you don’t think there’s going to be a normal Gotham after this. It seems too unreachable to even hope for.
When you finally get home, you dedicate an hour to taking a much-needed shower. After the shower, you gather your sewing materials and take a proper look at your clothes.
The outer layer is scuffed while the mesh sides are sliced through. You stand in your living room deciding whether to settle for a makeshift look for tonight or dedicate the time to fixing the clothes. You’re about to just say fuck it and not worry about it until you remember the kevlar fabric Dick had dropped off. You run to grab it from the drawer in your bathroom. Settling on just reinforcing the holes with kevlar, for added protection.
After running it through the sewing machine you’re happy with the outcome. You shimmy into the clothes, moving in different ways to get the somewhat tight underlayer over your body. Reloading your gear, and pulling the hood over your head, you leave your apartment as Gotham is being covered in shadows again.
You flip on the your transmitter and wait to hear where you’re needed the most. Sitting down with your legs hanging over the roof's edge, you look out onto the streets below. It would usually be a pretty sight, Gotham being lit by all the neon signs. But observing the riots unfolding below, on the empty streets, illuminated only by flickering neon signs and the occasional car fires, only added to your unease. The absence of people served as a haunting reminder of the chaos and destruction that had taken over the city.
Before you jump down, a low rumbling makes you pause. As the sound reverberates through the air, you turn your gaze in its direction, your eyes widening in disbelief. A massive, fully armored car comes barreling around the corner, its plated exterior gleaming under the neon lights. The men on the road barely have time to clear out of its path. It makes no attempt at stopping; it continues barreling down the street toward Chinatown. As it disappears from your view, the unmistakable sound of the Batmobile's engine reaches your ears, and in the blink of an eye, it speeds off toward the military car.
Guess I’m using the bike tonight.
“Vulture, you have to see this,” Oracle’s voice comes in over the comm.
“If it’s basically a tank on the streets of Gotham, I’m aware of it.”
“Yes, that, but there are actual tanks in Gotham. I’m tracking several transport helicopters. Gotham is about to be flooded with them. Batman could use the help.”
“Not sure I’m much help against tanks, Oracle.”
“Maybe if you talked to Lucius, you would be.”
She closes the line before you have time to say anything back.
Pulling up your mask to cover the bottom of your face before saddling up on your bike. You give a quick twist to the throttle, revving the engine of the bike. The powerful roar fills the air as you speed through the dark streets of Gotham. The men quickly dispersed as the bike zoomed past, leaving an empty space in its wake.
You spend your time following cop cars that are being chased by thugs in vehicles and stopping momentarily to stop the bigger groups of armed men.
As you drive, the number of cars similar to the ones Bruce was following earlier increases, and you start to spot men in full body armor.
Stopping near Bristol, you hide your bike and quickly make your way to a high vantage point. You watch as a group of men set up what can only be described as a checkpoint. There are crates full of guns and they put up walls that cover them from street view.
Oracle’s voice causes you to jump as she begins talking over the comms.
“Something’s happened at ACE Chemicals. There’s a new character, he goes by the name Arkham Knight. Be on the lookout for any militia.”
“Funny you would mention it. I’m looking at what appears to be a checkpoint full of militia.”
“Don’t engage. They are very organized and heavily armed. That Arkham Knight guy put them through a lot of training.”
“I can’t just let them set up a checkpoint. I’ll swoop in and check it out. If I start getting my ass handed to me, then I’ll dip.”
Barbara sighs, knowing she’s just pleading with a brick wall.
“You get out of there at the slightest hint that you’re losing.”
“You got it!”
You take a few moments to think of how you’re going to approach the fight. After watching them, you finally see a blind spot. Getting back down on the street, you run over to the right wall of the checkpoint. You give it a minute and then you hop over. There’s a crate to your left, you roll behind it as you listen to hear footsteps. Soon enough, one officer walks by the grate. Lunging forward, you wrap your arms around his neck, pulling as tight as you can. He falters from the lack of oxygen, but he’s taking too long. You need to get back to hiding before the others notice. Pulling out a baton, you hit the side of his head with just enough force to knock him out.
Laying his body behind the crate, you wait for another one to walk by. You repeat the same process to the second guy. Unfortunately for you, the others notice the disappearance of their coworkers.
Taking a chance, you stick your head out of your hiding spot. Not noticing anyone, you start your crawl toward another box, that’s in the center of the floor.
You feel your body being lifted off the floor before you even see the person. Then you’re being flipped around and brought down onto the floor which has you almost blacking out. You wheeze as your lungs collapse from the air that’s being forced out of them. Your eyes involuntarily shut as you try to regain your breath.
As you’re finally able to open your eyes, they widen at the sight of a massive metal boot coming toward your windpipe. By pushing your body up at an angle, you narrowly avoid getting hit by the boot. Jumping to your feet, you create space by taking a few steps back from the two men.
“We were told to look out for Batman. Didn’t realize we’d have some wannabe.”
Faking a laugh, you take out your rope and throw it over the bigger man, yanking on it gets him to stumble but he stays upright. Sprinting at him, you use his shoulder as leverage to wrap your legs around his waist. Using all your weight, you toss yourself back and pull the rope, causing him to fall. Flipping around at the last second, you let him break the fall. Making quick work with the ropes around his legs, you tie him up.
Before you get too far into tying the man up, you hear footsteps behind you. Turning to look you find that there’s a metal pipe headed directly at your face. Using your arm to shield your face, you grab the pipe from the man. Taking the pipe out of his hands, you stand at full height. Flipping the makeshift bat in your hands you start using every ounce of strength to swing it back and forth. You feel the bat make contact multiple times, and the man groans with each hit. A blow to his knee causes him to crumble over. Not stopping there, you hit him in the stomach, causing him to curl in on himself. You remember that there had been another man, glancing over your shoulder, he’s gone.
Shit.
You crack the pipe down on the man’s head twice. He stops moving, but you can see his chest still rising. Turning around, you’re met with the sound of a gunshot.
As you look ahead, you see the man you failed to tie up, his figure casting a long shadow over you. Upon impact, the bullet bounces off your body, tumbling to the ground. Smirking at the guy as you start walking towards him. He smirks in response and proceeds to fire the weapon in rapid succession; the sound echoing through the air.
Pulling out your baton again, you chuck it at the wall behind the guy. It bounces off the wall and slams into his back. He lowers the gun for just long enough for you to run towards him. You grab his wrist and forcefully strike your palm against the joint of his elbow. It cracks loudly as the bone shatters. The gun falls and so does the man. You deliver a kick to his head, and he falls, unmoving.
Taking a look around, you attempt to find what’s keeping the walls up, then you hear the soft beeping. Following the noise, you’re able to find the remote, taking it off the man, you place it on the ground and crush it with your baton. The walls fall and you’re able to see the street again.
There are multiple tanks in front of you. It doesn’t seem like they notice you as they drive on by, but you don’t want to risk it. You leap behind the little wooden crate on the floor.
“I found those tanks you were talking about. I just saw multiple driving together in a line.”
“Did they see you?”
“I’m talking to you aren’t I?”
Oracle lets out a small laugh, “True.”
“The checkpoint is destroyed. I took some damage to my suit, but it’s still intact.”
“Hmm, good work.”
“Thanks. I’m going to stick to the rooftops. I don’t think my bike would hold up against those tanks.”
“Stay safe, I’ll keep in touch.”
Running across the street you get on top of the building. You begin to make your way around Gotham by leaping from one building to another.
Incoming call
Incoming call
You’re about to jump when the call disrupts you.
“Hello?”
“Good evening, It’s Lucius. I was told that you need a new suit, are you able to stop by Wayne Tower? I’ll need measurements before I can start with any updates.”
“Uh, I don’t really need anything. I appreciate–”
“Mr. Wayne said that you would try to resist the help. I’ll have the Batwing pick you up. Please stay in your current location.”
“Uh, thanks?”
“Hey quick question, how the hell did Lucius get my com line?”
“Oh uh….I let Bman know you were out there fighting with handed-down equipment. He didn’t like that idea so he reached out to Lucius.”
You groan, “Oracle-”
“I know you didn’t want him to know or to help, but take it as him trying to rebuild the bridge.”
The line once again closes before you can say anything back.
You stare off into the distance.
Over the years you have heard all of Dick’s thoughts. All the good and bad ones. How sometimes it’s the best thing in the world and then the next minute you want to pull your hair out.
There’s something in you that can’t imagine working with Bruce. There’s still a part of you that blames Bruce for what happened. There’s still that part that seethes with anger when you think about how nothing was done after what Joker did. You won't betray Jason like that.
Even after all this time, the grief and the guilt still consume you. You can still see his youthful face, that the life of a kid on the streets of Gotham had already hardened. You wonder what he would look like now. You’re pulled out of your thoughts by the noise of the Batwing circling around.
As you arrive at Wayne Tower, more memories of you and Jason flood your mind. How the two of you used to do homework together, and how you two would pester Bruce while he tried to do his work. Every place you two had been to held a bittersweet spot in your heart.
Standing at the end of the hall is Lucius. He smiles warmly at you as you get closer.
“Hello, miss. I'm glad you were able to make it. Please come in, let’s get started right away.” He holds the door open for you.
Inside the room are multiple measuring tapes, fabrics, and weapon holsters. He begins with taking your measurements and asking what you have in mind for your suit.
“It’s crucial that not only are you recognized as your own person but that you’re also well protected.” His voice helps ease you a little. For just a few minutes you’re able to forget everything going on outside the tower.
He goes over your fighting style if you’re more acrobatic like Nightwing or more of a heavy hitter like the second Robin. The mention of Jason makes your heart sink.
“I guess I’m somewhere in between the two.”
“Very well, is there a specific color in mind?”
“I guess dark green if you can, black is fine as well.” He nods and picks up the book with all the measurements.
“It’ll only take me a few hours to get it all put together. I’ll let you know when it’s done.”
“Thank you, Lucius. I appreciate your time.” He smiles back at you.
The peaceful feeling you had earlier was instantly shattered as you emerged onto the chaotic streets of Gotham. Everywhere you looked, clusters of armed men patrolled the streets, their presence adding an air of tension. As you glance around, you spot another checkpoint situated high above on a nearby building.
As you leap onto the roof, a rush of adrenaline courses through you. You take into account how many more men there are compared to the last checkpoint. You hesitate for a minute, maybe you should leave this for Bruce. But you’re too stubborn and prideful to not at least try.
By sneaking around the edges of the roof, you’re able to pick off some of the unobservant men. Moving further onto the roof you were able to destroy some of the sensory guns. Being too focused on infiltrating you don’t realize the attention you’ve garnered.
You stop as you hear a robotic voice over their coms.
“Don’t forget your training! Don’t embarrass me!”
As the robotic voice echoed through the comms, your heart raced as you quickly strategized your next move. With the element of surprise gone, you know that you have to act fast and take out as many people as possible.
You move swiftly, dodging the ones reaching out to grab you. You land hits on some of them with your baton. You’re swinging punches and dodging as many as you can. Too caught up in trying to knock someone out you don't notice the man charging at you.
Being slammed to the floor for the second time tonight you struggle to counter his moves. You finally throw him off and get back onto your feet.
Suddenly the right side of your body is engulfed by a pain so intense that you can’t move any further. Looking down there’s a blade sticking into your stomach. Grabbing it with both hands you yank it out and throw it behind you in hopes of hitting someone. You feel yourself falling and you can’t do anything but brace yourself. You finally cry out in pain as you hit the ground. Grunting heavily as you get back up your nerves scream in agony. But you have to get back up.
Rest later, survive now.
Getting on your feet you start swaying, only making it a few feet before, a pair of hands seize you. As you try to wriggle free, they quickly immobilize your hands, securing them tightly behind your back with ropes. Before you know it, the man is hoisting you up over his shoulder.
You start thrashing back and forth. Trying anything to get out of the grasp, doing everything you can. Nothing works.
You’re tied to a chair in an empty room. You scan your eyes around the room, looking for an escape route. You can feel blood leaking out of you. It’s gone cold and sticky and your suit is sticking to you uncomfortably. Your attempt at fleeing earlier had only caused you to do more damage to your open wound.
The ropes squeak as you pull them against the chair. Attempting to rub them against the backing of the chair to try to wear them down proves futile. You just keep pulling at them in hopes they’ll break.
Two men throw open the door and walk in. One has a med kit with him and the other is carrying a taser stick. They lock the door behind them.
“Why do you care if she lives or dies?”
“I don’t, but the Knight will have our heads if she dies. You know he wants to be the one to take care of all the little vigilantes. It’s personal for him. I’m just stopping the bleeding.” The one in white comes and kneels beside you.
He cuts the blood-soaked suit away and lazily wipes at the blood that’s still coming out. Taking thick gauze, he pushes it up against the wound and then uses multiple layers to secure it before taping it.
He turns his head towards the other man, whose intense gaze suggests he's eagerly anticipating an opportunity to deploy the electric weapon. “All done. Let him know we got him a prize.”
An idea pops into your head about how you’re going to get out of here. Letting your head flop down like dead weight against your chest you begin to mumble softly to the medic.
“What is she saying?”
“I’m not sure. Speak up.” The medic barks the order at you.
“Can’t breathe. Need…need.” Then you put on the best performance of your life. Convulsing your body and gasping for air.
“Oh fuck, what did you do?”
“I didn’t do shit! We have to untie her, quickly!”
They make quick time to get your convulsing body untied and lay it down on the floor. Dramatically you stop convulsing and heave out a final breath.
“Fuck fuck fuck, we’re so dead.” The medic sounds like he’s almost in tears.
You sneak a peek and see the medic getting ready to start compressions. They’re so scared of Arkham Knight that they’ve forgotten to check your pulse.
As he goes to place his hands on your chest, you grab his arms. Bringing him down to you as you curl your body up, you slam your head into his, before tossing him towards the other man.
Gasping for breath from the excruciating pain, you stumble before running towards the guy with the taser. Locking your arms around his midsection, you’re able to lift him off the ground and slam him harder into the door. He drops the taser as his hands go to grab your shoulders. You drop to pick up the taser.
There’s a banging on the door as the people outside try to get in. You pay them no mind. You’re running out of time before you collapse.
“If you unlock that door, I’m going to shove this so far up your ass you’ll feel it in your brain.” You spit at them.
Looking up to the skylight above you and then towards the table that’s covered in your weapons. You know you’ll need a boost to get up there but you can’t move the table yourself.
Taking the taser you jam it into the medic's neck, moving out of the way as he drops. You gesture to the other one.
“Pull that table so it’s below that skylight and I won't shoot you.”
He stands still, challenging you.
“Bullshit, Batman doesn’t let his lackeys kill people.”
“Well unfortunately for you I’m not one of his fucking lackeys.”
Taking out your small pistol, you aim it at the skylight and fire. The nonlethal bullet cuts through the glass, and you turn your gaze back to him as it crashes around you. He swiftly moves the table under the skylight.
“Appreciate you doing that for me man.” Your voice is dripping with sarcasm and he scoffs a disgusted laugh.
Standing on the table, you don’t even spare a look at him before you take the pistol and pull the trigger. The nonlethal bullet hits his shoulder, and he examines himself to see the damage before realizing it didn’t pierce his skin. When he looks back, you’re gone.
You move away as fast as you can. Your heart thumps and the drumming of your blood in your ears adds to your headache. Jumping from one building to another, your wound grows larger. Looking down, you noticed that the once-white patch of gauze was now stained with patches of dark red. Getting to the edge, you see a shorter building that you’re able to lower yourself down onto.
Your eyes droop and you wobble. Stopping for a moment you brace yourself and try to push forward but your legs don’t allow you to go any further. You collapse.
Using the energy you have left you push the comm.
“Oracle I’m injured….need….help.”
“Phoenix, what happened? How bad?”
“Stabbed in side…can’t keep my eyes open.”
“Hey, hey keep talking to me! I’ve let Batman know, he’s on his way. Just keep talking to me.” You feel bad from the panic in her voice. She’s trying so hard to fight it but you hear the shakiness. You don’t have the energy to fight against having Bruce come to save you.
“I’m…still…here Barb. I can’t….move. Too…tired.” Your words come out thick like honey as you begin to lose consciousness.
“Bruce, hurry. She’s passing out.”
There’s silence on the other end. With her eyes closed, she leans forward, as if on the verge of offering a silent prayer. The thought of losing another friend is unbearable for her.
Bruce finds you with your hands clasped around your side. He assesses your vitals, you’ve lost a lot of blood but other than that you’re stable.
“I’ve got her Barbara. She’s going to be ok.”
“Oh, thank god.”
They both let out a shaky breath.

I feel like an idiot for missing Vaegon, Maera’s grandfather no less. I thought he was there to show Maera’s Targaryen lineage in the beginning 😬
But it’s interesting to see him back at court, of all people. Given his brief characterization and backstory, I’d have assumed he was not one to stay in the capital because he was too busy in pursuit of knowledge or perfecting his craft. Like a ravenclaw. Still, I’m excited to learn more about him and his motivations for returning. Ever since Viserys became king, I felt like the Targaryen line sort of narrowed into the contenders for the throne. I mean it is their story but something about Vaegon being there is a nice reminder that the Targaryens fighting now (including the dragonseeds) aren’t the last Targeryens left. It also made me realize how delicate Targaryens’ health were seeing as of the 13 children, only Vaegon is alive that we know of. I mean, Saera could be 👀
Here’s a thought, would he balance out Larys? I feel like for all his disinterest in courtly life, he could have the makings of a politician.
Oh!! And Maera’s brothers! It seems distaste for House Butterwell is a shared trait. Jokes aside, I love how even though Maera is queen, they’re still protective of her and are ready to whoop Aemond’s ass. King of the seven kingdoms who? Also, I love Faran’s enraged of “what kind of husband is that?” Because honestly what should we call Aemond? I feel like the next time they encounter Aemond it will be with a touch of frostiness.
Speaking of what would happen next, this recent development makes me want to comb through the chapters one by one. Now that we know it’s not just for background. 😂 and we’ve come full circle.
Are we going to get a small council scene? 👀
Tumblr media
I’m telling y’all right now, I never put something in for nothing 🤣 character getting mentioned a lot? Prophecies being uttered? Flowers, painting, colours, scenery? All meanings behind it. Thank you to my English Literature A-Level, and to my teacher Ms Stafford, who taught me EVERYTHING MEANS SOMETHING when analysing books 🙈
We’ll get to know Vaegon a bit more, but it won’t be super central to the story. More like getting a bit of closure. And in terms of Vaegons siblings, some are alive but barely, we’ll explore in the future. Again it won’t be super central to the story.
Faran and Luthor are the type of brothers who are like “no one can pick on our sister but us. Try and we will end you.” Thank god Faran is sticking around.
Yes we’ll get a small council scene. God I’m having a look at my timeline and I feel like I’ll be writing this forever! Feel sorry for anyone who is just starting to read it now 🤦🏻‍♀️
Thank you for your support as always 🖤

toxic nat and reader break up and have so much tension until they hu at a dinner party
hey guys hey guys!! sorry haven’t been here for a while but like i think i decided i’m gonna answer all of my asks (2) and maybe prob start writing again! wooo!!!
okay so first things first
1. i will NOT be doing like a full hu, there will be themes yes but as aforementioned i don’t write smut
2. this is actually a great idea so i’m gonna give y’all a preview bc it’s really late and then i’ll edit and finish later
3. sorry for taking forever twin!!
I know you miss me.
toxic! nat x fem! reader
warnings: toxic behavior, more mentioned in the future. also the usual like cursing yap yap yap
“hey”
you whipped your head around, you recognized that voice. God awful but 𝗵𝗲𝗿 voice will always plague your mind. the woman who you’ve been avoiding all night.
she looked restless, almost like she actually 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘥 you. ‘ha, fat fucking chance’ you thought. you debated if you actually wanted to talk to her, but she moved closer, so you knew you had to. and with a loud sigh you said:
“hi”
you mentally cursed yourself. ‘that was actually so lame, stand your ground (y/n), damn’. so you spoke again,
“what do you want natasha?” you sighed it out, you don’t even know why you’re talking to her again.
‘she’s not worth it’ ‘she never loved you’ ‘stop trying to convince yourself that she’ll ever change.’
but you know she will, she always does. ‘fuck it not today.’
you tried to turn back around, but she put a hand on your shoulder. you flinched.
“(y/n), i’m serious. don’t fucking walk away from me.” she just whispered out.
you looked back at her, and she looked a cross between pissed and so, so fucking sad.
“hey, this is clint’s party, just let me enjoy myself. i already told you i never wanted to see you again.” and you saw a flash of hurt and anger in her eyes. ‘why the fuck is she the mad one here?’
you both were at clint’s little get together, and you went outside for fresh air, but you guess she followed you out. you were happy, you hadn’t seen the team in a while, natasha always kept you away. and when they asked, you were always “sick” or “on a trip”. but now she was gone, and you finally got back in touch with them, but God, you could never muster up the strength and courage to tell them what had all happened.
natasha scoffed,
“enjoy yourself? or enjoy these other bitches? i’ve been looking at you all night, just to see you with carol, or my friends. 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘧𝘶𝘤𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘩𝘰𝘦.” she spat that last part out.
you let out a dry laugh. “oh wow natasha, glad to see you haven’t changed. i have though, and now you can’t control me anymore.” you stared directly at her.
“oh please, you know damn well i didn’t do shit wrong. and you also know that you miss me, huh?” she moved closer to you.
“natasha, what the hell?” you looked around. she put her hand on your face though, softly.
“oh baby, i’m the only one for you.” “what happened was a mistake, but i promise you i have changed.” she whispered to you.
“oh bullshit, nat!” you had tears forming. “you just acted the same literally two seconds ago, stop trying to play me for a fool!” you were very much emotional now.
“and that’s why you still call me nat. you already know how much i appreciate you, and that you just can’t seem to get over me, huh?”
that was true, you hadn’t dated or talked to anyone in 4 months. but maybe that was just how impactful she was on you, that you’d been afraid to love again.
“shut up.”
“so it is true, (y/n) you haven’t changed a bit sweet girl.” natasha caressed your face.
you tried to pull away, but she had you against the wall. you could smell her sweet scent, which did NOT reflect her personality.
“just this once,” she whispered “be mine again?”
you felt too much, you just wanted it to be over.
you closed the distance between you both with a kiss.
———
you woke up in her bed again, but you swear next time will be different.
you know it will be.
when you she was dead asleep, you packed up and left.

1. If the show was trying to make the point that Stolas and Blitz’s actions affect those around them negatively, you’d think the writing itself wouldn’t side with them while doing so and actually take the time to dive into the other side without being biased. Octavia was literally told to cut Stolas slack simply because he’s “trying”, Moxxie was given the “tough love” route, not even getting an apology but instead a toxic explanation of how Blitz is only rough on him because he’s trying to toughen him up, we have yet to see Verosika, someone who was hurt by Blitz and yet the show treats her like the antagonist and barley cares to focus more on her individually, Stella could have been someone who was affected by Stolas’s cheating like they set up in season 1, but instead is a one note evil bitch making him look like the one in the right, and I highly doubt Fizz or Barbie will stay mad at Blitz forever. The show sides with both of them constantly and I’m not even going to explain how Stolas is a sexual predator because you should already know why. It’s obvious unless you’re a Stolitz shipper who sees all of his harassment as “cute flirting”.
2. I don’t think y’all understand, but by making Stolas and Blitz sympathetic, having them innocent at birth, showing they’re traumatized and describing them as “sweet” while also wanting you to like them, root for them and side with them…….that’s making them good deep down and manipulating your audience into believing that they’re good people. And Blitz almost never has a reason behind his actions. I’ll give Stolas this, his terrible actions make sense because he’s unhappy, unsatisfied and stuck in marriage he doesn’t like, but Blitz just pushes people away and is an asshole because…..why? Because he hates himself? Because he’s lonely? Because he’s a dick??? He may be a 3 dimensional character, but that doesn’t automatically make his character good or make sense-

I have some many thots and feelings on the season opener of Titans Part 2. I’ve literally had all day to process these thoughts and I hope they come off well intended. Well DCTK was something… I’ll make this a compliment sandwich. In the caul’s folly ep I loved how hands on Dick and Kory were. Dick constantly checking on her meant everything to me. 🥹🥹🥹 That was when I really floated to the ceiling. It is something so wonderful and so beautiful about seeing Dick be a literally shoulder for Kory to lean on, even with how strong she is. That’s how their relationship has always been but not seeing them shy away from each other physically meant a lot to me.
Now Kory not knowing how to read ancient tamaranean was a choice.. and the fact that the vision was not discussed was also a choice… How does the heir to the throne not know their ancient language. I can see if she forgot like when she had amnesia and maybe it would’ve curled over better if she said I can’t translate this right now, it must have gotten loss when I landed. IDK something to prove she hadn’t studied her own race’s native language as the next in line monarch, even if she didn’t want it.
However the Diner scene, when Dick sat next to Kory I have to say I was very pleased. Like that’s really her man without being her man.I can’t deal with them. I love how Kory went ahead of Dick to talk to the cops too. She was gonna use that charm by any means necessary and then Dick stepped in like “Baby, I got this.” 🤭🤭
Now here’s where things get shakey for me. When Kory starts to feel sick and Dick takes her back to the RV, where the hell does he leave her while going to meet with the sheriff? Was he not afraid someone wouldn’t find her after? Idk him going to visit the sheriff alone just didn’t sit right with me. And constantly leaving her “alone” throughout DCTK gave me some friction. Just didn’t seem like the smartest of ideas. But likely she didn’t wander off or get taken.
Ok so here’s my ultimate gripe with the episode. This episode was supposed to be about Dick & Carol & Ted & Kory… and I feel like they only got about a fourth of the episode. I feel like this was an episode full of very flavorful tastings of something reallly really special. I feel like if Tom could’ve written the episode of just Dick & Kory he would’ve went so crazy and I wanna see that version without all of the extra plot points like TimBer and Brother Blood. I wanted Dick & Kory actually communicating about why they put them together as a marry couple since it seemed so outlandish that they could be in bed together 🙄 (y’all have fucked multiple times.. be fucking for real) I would’ve liked you to remember it but yeah idk it was weird. Like funny but weird.
At this late stage of the series the tiptoeing and longing and pining of this ship is tortorous and TIRED. We should not fucking be here. I am sorry. We shouldn’t. Dick should’ve tried to snap Kory out of her spell by telling her some of her memories that intertwined with his. A conversation about the Mar’i vision should’ve been discussed there. I feel like it won’t ever be fully discussed because when do they have the time???
I am just forever upset that so much of s3 could’ve been giving us this but they had to throw Barbara in there for some sick reason. We should’ve gotten all of this pining last season so we weren’t spending majority of our final season there. I feel like the moment we see Dick and Kory happy and in love it’ll be over. Like 5 minutes of it. And what was the point of spending 11 episodes pining. IDK. I know Dick and Kory would have such a beautiful relationship once it’s finally said and done and I am perturbed that I am going to have to spend time exploring it in fic alone.
I just don’t wanna have to write fix it fics because that means that I was unfulfilled by the media and that was fine last season they had time to fix it on their own but the way they went about it here leave so much to be desired.
In conclusion. Dick telling Kory he would never leave her was sooooooooooo sweet. A perfect moments in the midst of a lot of shit and although he didn’t tell Kory directly. She knows how he feels. Idk when they will actually have the talk if they actually have the talk but I am sooo ready to see it. For my little DickKorian heart there’s so much riding on this conclusion. And I hope I can feel satisfied in the end. Right now I feel edged to the end of oblivion not gon hold you.

“Come on, Y/N, you can’t cling onto my shirt forever,” your mother urges you with a small chuckle.
You stiffen up in your spot at the edge of the picnic bench, and your eyes bounce between the several children on and around the playground equipment. Mixtures of squeals and cheerful laughter ring above the christmas song playing from the outdoor speaker your new neighbors, the Choi family, set up. You forgot if it was the one with the son older than you or the son your age, though—you didn’t exactly bother to learn their names when your mother introduced you.
“Go on, Y/N.” Her voice fills your ears again as she gently pushes you off the bench. Speak of the devil.
Shoving your hands in your pockets, you kick the dust with your feet and you keep your gaze cast down on the ground. You didn’t want to socialize—why would you want to make new friends when you had perfectly good ones back in your old neighborhood? Why couldn’t you just go back there? Or just snatch your mother’s dingy old flip phone for a couple minutes to send them a message?
Besides, most of the children here don’t seem like ones you’d be particularly… compatible with. You shouldn’t be one to judge, but the majority of the ones doing laps on the playground equipment couldn’t have been older than five or six. At your big age of nine years old, there’s not much you would have in common with a literal kindergartener. Plus, it seems like they had all formed a friend group of their own, and you’re more than content just watching them chase each other around, gleeful, high-pitched squeals bubbling from their sticky mouths.
Turning your head slightly, you find a group of teenagers sitting around another bench several feet away from all the adults, two of which had their bottoms perched on top of the table as they faced their friends. You would approach them, but just like how you wouldn’t exactly favor befriending the five-year-olds with crayons up their noses, the teenagers likely thought the same of you. Closing your eyes in despair, you groan to yourself and resort to dragging your feet across the dirt.
Why did you even have to move?
As you let out a sigh, you perk up at the fact you could see it in the cold air. It sparks an insurmountable amount of joy for some reason. Perhaps it’s because of the timing of the puff of air with the line, ’Jack Frost nipping at your nose’ that rings from the speakers at the other end of the small neighborhood park, but it causes a giggle to slip past your lips. It’s almost like a new light under the already-dimming sky, the soft pinks and oranges slowly dissipating as the sun begins to dip behind the mountains and give way to the overcast above.
However, you quickly get distracted by the sight of a boy your age—or at least, you assumed—and you hesitantly step closer.
And there he was.
He was short, upside down on the monkey bars, and wearing the most obnoxious shade of purple you had ever laid eyes on. You aren’t sure what hurts more: the sun in your eyes or staring at his sweater.
Looking away from the light gray clouds that hung above the park, you let your gaze fall to the boy. He watches you quietly as he continues to hang upside down, and you notice the small smile that paints his slowly reddening face.
Here goes nothing, you guess.
“Um… hi.”
He stays silent, staring at you with his beady eyes.
Gulping, you continue. “I'm Y/N.”
He mumbles something back, but you can barely make out what he says and you tilt your head slightly in confusion.
“Huh?”
“My name is Jeongin,” he repeats, only the slightest bit louder.
A smile of your own quickly forms on your face. You raise a hand up for him to shake, and he just stares at it for a second before moving one of his outstretched arms to meet you, his hand grasping yours at an awkward angle. You both can’t help but giggle as you give your best attempt at a handshake.
“Nice to meet you, Jeongin,” you say, slowly pulling your hand away and letting his drop above, or rather, below his upside-down head. “I'm Y/N.”
“You said that already,” He says, and his bluntness makes you chuckle.
Slowly, Jeongin maneuvers himself so he’s sitting on top of the monkey bars instead of hanging upside down. Once he gets upright and steadies himself from the blood rushing down from his head, he stares back down at you.
You stuff your hands into your pockets and heave out a sigh. “My mom says I need a friend,” you explain your current plight to Jeongin, and you find his soft gaze once again. It’s strange, really—you've only exchanged a few words with this boy, but you already feel comfortable enough to complain about your mother’s nagging to him.
You suppose that helps your next words spill out more easily.
“Want to be friends?”
You watch Jeongin expectantly as he looks down, picking at a piece of lint on his hideous purple sweater. He ponders your question for a minute, and you feel a wave of relief wash over you when he finally nods in response. If your mom wanted you to have a friend so badly, there you go. You got one.
You stand there awkwardly, your eyes drifting back up to the sky for a moment. It occurs to you that you’ve never asked someone to be friends with you; it’s always just kind of happened.
And now you’re stuck, unsure what to do next.
You let out another huff of air, another smile tickling your lips as you watch the faint, white puff form in front of your eyes. Then you look back up at the boy in the obnoxious purple sweater, who seems just as amused by the cold air as you as he lets out his own breath, exhaling like a small dragon.
A chuckle escapes your parted lips as you watch him, kicking his legs lightly as he stares up at the sky. After another minute, you speak again.
“Can I sit up there with you too?”
Nodding his head, he mumbles a small “yeah” and the corners of your mouth twitch up as you hurriedly climb your way up onto the monkey bars. You dangle your legs through the same section as Jeongin’s, and you shift your position slightly as you steady yourself.
A gust of cold air causes you to shiver and as a response, you pull your puffy coat closer to you. This seems to make Jeongin chuckle fondly, and you feel his eyes linger on you for a second before he looks out at the horizon. Neither of you are tall enough to see much above the houses in front of you, but you figure you can use your imaginations to picture what lies beyond that. It’ll have to do.
You both remain silent for a while like this, allowing the chatter and Christmas music below to fill the air around you. It’s comfortable, it feels like a weighted blanket wrapped around your shoulders—which is funny to say because you’re sharing this moment with a kid you’ve barely known for ten minutes. You don’t mind, though. By the looks of it, and the friendly glances you exchange with each other, Jeongin doesn’t seem to, either.
Suddenly, a cold, wet spot falls onto your nose, causing you to gasp and look up.
“Is that…”
Jeongin tilts his head up as well, and he chuckles when another wet drop lands on his face. Meanwhile, you’re in awe. You let your mouth fall open, and your eyes swirl with pure wonderment as you watch the white crystals above you flutter down. It sends chills down your spine, but wraps you up in a cocoon of warmth at the same time.
“Snow…” is all you manage to mumble.
Jeongin turns to you, a small smile tugging at his lips. “Have you never seen snow before?”
You glance at him once, shake your head, and look back up at the sky.
The boy’s jaw drops. It almost mirrors your dazed expression, except his features are twisted in surprise. But it’s true—snow was something you had only witnessed in movies. As far as you were concerned, the fluffy, white particles only ever graced the stop-motion characters on the old-timey Christmas cartoons you rewatched every year, or the main couple in whatever cheesy Hallmark movie your parents decided to indulge in.
That is, until now.
You didn’t know at that moment what type of future you had in store, but you know one thing: the snow is beautiful. And as you follow Jeongin down the monkey bars and to your first snowball fight, you have an inkling that you’ll be sticking with him for a while.
Maybe this move won’t be so bad after all.
full version release date: december 25 (hopefully)

I figured I should redo my intro to my blog-
ELLO >:DDDD
(Edit/Update:) First of all, because my friend and I just had to deal with an art tracer;
YOU CANNOT TRACE, REPOST, CLAIM MY ART AS YOUR OWN OR *WHATEVER*. MY ART IS *MY ART*. MAKE YOUR OWN. ITS NOT THAT HARD AND EVERYONE STARTS SOMEWHERE.
Reblogs and comments are appreciated tho :3
Also- if you wish to use my art as a profile picture, you MUST give me credit as the first thing in your Bio/About me.
(Back to the original post)
Name’s Lizzy! Or Star! I really don’t give a fuck which you use!
Here’s my pronouns card! https://en.pronouns.page/@starified_lizzy
I draw shit for FANDOMS
I write shit for FANDOMS
I got OCS whom I LOVE and ADORE.
“Can I draw fanart of your fics?” My sibling in Christ, we are married. /pos
“Can I draw fanart of your fanart(like DTIYS)?” My sibling in Christ. /pos
“Can I draw fanart of your OCs?” CHRIST. /pos
RAHHHHHH (it’s really fucking early I shouldn’t be doing this now ;-;)
Here’s a list of my socials, it is very limited because I hate the “standard” socials like Twitter and Insta and stuff like that. So it’s more like- fanfic sites, and any other blogs I own for you guys to check out >.>
My AO3
My Art Fight
My YouTube
My TikTok (basically dead at this point, I only ever like/favorite things on it, but I might start up again with my FNF au instead)
My Pinterest
My Spotify because sure
My FNF au blog
My demonpocalypse blog ([possibly] forever retired due to a severe issue in the community it was for)
Blog for food/recipes I want to try because MMMMMMMMMMM FOOOOD
Wow that’s actually not limited like I thought- hot damn I need to touch some grass.
HERES A LIST OF FANDOMS IM EITHER CURRENTLY IN, OR HAVE RETIRED FROM (Also CCs):
Retired-
DSMP (and MCYT as a whole for the most part), dude our community is in *shambles*. I’m so glad I left when I did, but at the same time O W.
ATLA. Technically I’m still in this fandom, but I only really get back into it/brainrot about it if I get a reminder, otherwise I kinda forget about it
FNAF. Same with ATLA, still technically in it, but I gotta be reminded it exists sometimes.
BATIM. Ditto
Wings of Fire. Ditto
Undertale. Ditto. Lizzy, my main persona, was actually an OC created from Undertale, who just ended up becoming her own person, and then ended up being associated with mine and my friend’s Minecraft au instead.
Onto CCs I no longer watch:
Any of the DSMP ppl, with very few exceptions
Jacksepticeye. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll still watch a video of his if it pops up and spikes my interest, but I don’t actively seek his content out anymore.
Any of the old Minecrafters. Like DanTDM, Stampy, Tiny Turtle & Little Lizard. Hell, I don’t even think any of the ones I listed even do YT at all anymore. I’ll still watch their old videos tho.
Current-
FNF. I really could give less of a fuck if y’all think it’s “bad” or “for kids (it’s not, I promise you)”. The music slaps, and quite a few mods are really well made, so eat my ass.
Day of Dragons. The dragons are cool. I don’t care about any drama in the community. I’m here for the cool fucking dragons.
The Isle. Once again, I don’t care about any drama in the community. I’m here for the cool ass dinosaurs because you can customize your own skins and they just look and sound cool (Dilo, Herarra, and Ptera are my faves)
Lethal Company. Do it for the Company.
RainWorld. Scugs and Scups. Need I say more?
Hollow Knight. Sorta falling out of this one, but until I beat the entire game (P5) I am not finished.
Minecraft. Technically in “the fandom”, but not really attached to a specific YTer or anything like that anymore. I just like the game.
CCs I still watch:
Astral Spiff. Sprog is a good gamer.
Smii7y and his friends like Grizzy, Droid, Puffer, Blarg, etc.
Jack Manifold. I only watch his You Laugh You Loose and Ghost Sighting Compilation videos. I don’t even know if he still does Minecraft anymore.
8-BitRyan. While he doesn’t swear in his videos, it’s kinda a breath of fresh air. Plus his edits are quite funny.
Markiplier. Yes. Just… yes…
IGP. His content is just interesting. The way he freaks out over shit is funny as hell. Does he do content with IcyCaress anymore? Their banter was funny, but idk if something happened, cuz I just don’t see much stuff with Icy in it anymore.
As of right now, that’s all I can think of. It’s nice to meet you!
