the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again

What we now know:

Ronan's snake scales are on his right arm apparently, according to the art accompanying the short story

The story is from the perspective of Casey, who lives somewhere coastal where everyone is having the same collective recurring dream

Blue and Gansey are gallivanting around doing ??? and they tip Ronan off about weird dream stuff

Ronan is wandering around (with Chainsaw) addressing said weird dream stuff

He stays at the Airbnb-ish thing Casey's parents have to look into the collective recurring dream

He apparently still doesn't have complete control over what he brings out of his head, because he does bring back part of the collective dream that starts growing on his arm

The Bryde dream mask thing makes an appearance when Casey helps a bro out so Ronan can dream something to address the dream stuff growing on his arm

Theme: Do you stay in a place and try to make it better, or do you leave to save yourself?

Adam is mentioned by Gansey in passing: "If my friend Adam was here, he’d have some science.”

Day 5 of DCA Promptober - artistic license redraw of the "You wouldn't download a car" meme

Since I had to shrink and trim the original art really small to make the gif fit tumblr's maximum upload size, here are the images in non-crunchy form.

The way the two images are laid out above is actually the way they were going to be posted before my 11th hour "Hey! Let's try animating it!" moment. Also, I had zero experience doing any sort of digital animation before this simple one. I'm not sure what the protocol is for using meme templates so I approximated the original text for use in this piece just to be on the safe side. I also redrew the daycare logo itself and changed aspects of it for some reason. Also also, I used the noise brush for the first time to made tv static instead of just finding and using a royalty free image of some sort because it is essential I make things more difficult than they need to be.

Can you give us any info on what BB! Goosefeather’s Curse is like? I just read it and I’m interested to know how the changes to his character in bb affect that

I can see the Great Hunger being the tipping point for him and fate, realizing if he goes along with fate things might be better

In BB, Goosefeather and Pinestar's novellas have been rolled into one book; Pinestar's Crusade. Goosefeather is an antagonist in nearly every story he's in, after realizing that preparing for the Great Hunger only ended up making things worse. He comes to believe that his visions are instructions, and he dedicates himself to carrying them out to the letter...

No matter the cost. A sister. Clanmates. War itself. No matter what is done, it would be worse otherwise.

He's shattered when Pinestar's defeated prophecy comes true, and the fated hero Mosslight dies unceremoniously in the snow during Bluestar's Flowers. Bluemoon will NEVER allow ThunderClan to descend into chaos, she will protect her friends to the bitter end-- and seeing his life's philosophy proven untrue is a crushing blow to Goosefeather.

But before then, he's responsible the terrible "vision" that Pinestar "receives" about Tigerkit. It was just a nightmare. Goosefeather told a half-truth to stress him out enough to leave.
