Saxan in Coral Island.

Happy New Year to you. My lazy son as NPC and LI. I think this took about a month to make. 70% of that time is taken by the wedding outfit alone. Commentary on each outfits and his personality backstory under Read More if you're interested :)

Your local veterinarian. He was a bratty and wild child, something his parents tried to coach him out of. Instead, he developed into a lazy and apathetic young man, and eventually his parents learned to accept the person he is. However, he sensed that he's the black sheep or "failure" compared to his successful big twin sisters, irregardless of how baseless it is. Cares for animals, not so much for humans. His character arc can go two ways depending on what you chose during the dialogues. His birthday is on 28th Spring.

He's my Star Wars OC actually. He's a Zakuulan Prince, so I incorporated that aspect into his merfolk form. If you don't see him around town, he might be underwater!

His spring outfit is based on the doodle I have of him from an ask lol. I kinda like the color cyan on him!

I forgot that Scott has a similar hibiscus shirt so I figured it was too late to modify it... Oh well.

Not much to say other than I kinda have a hard time deciding what he should wear for autumn.

He looks super snug. I really gotta learn how to draw coats to make them convicingly thick idk. He lowkey dislikes winter.

I kinda debated on if I should put body hair on him but I decided not to seeing almost every male NPC has them. I think. Yes, it's the ace flag colors.

If you marry him he'll appear in Aesan Gede, the South Sumatran (Palembang) traditional wedding attire. I can't really have his hair free because it'll get stuck on all the golden bits but I kinda am not feeling the bun either so back ponytail it is. Debated whether I should draw the Sundanese one (am half-Sundanese) because it's easier but South Sumatra has been under-represented in Indonesian media so my Srivijayan pride kicked in. Also tumblr keeps killing the transparency for some reason >;[

Does he look Prince-ly enough here? He's based on the barracuda fish. Considered making him a naga like the rest of the in-game merfolk royal family but I've actually drawn him as a merman before so I want to keep him as a... fish. blublubblub.

I'm currently playing his twin sisters and I'm having a hard time choosing the LIs for them helpppp

im not sure how active you are on tumblr or how many asks you get, but i hope you see this! i recently discovered a pc game still in beta that is EXTREMELY similar to stardew valley and breath of the wild. it's called palia. i really think you'll enjoy it and you should give it a shot! it's free and has hot people in it 👍

I've been following Palia's development for a while, but haven't tried it yet. I have been playing a fair bit of Coral Island, which comes even closer to the Stardew Valley/Harvest Moon formula (as far as I can see anyway). And while I've had mostly a good time with it, I start to just want to play Stardew Valley again after a while lol

Palia is an MMO from what I can tell, and I'll likely give it a shot but I honestly don't expect much from it, seeing as I usually give up on MMOs after a bit of grinding (unless the story and singleplayer experience is good enough to keep me going, like it was with smth like SWTOR).

I want to play a star wars game.

Problem is, I don't think the star wars game I want to play exists. Like. I want a character creator like SWTOR MMO, but I want an action RPG like Survivor or Outlaw. And I want it to be ever growing...like Honkai Star Rail or Genshin Impact. But I also want it to have proper romance storylines like Coral Island or Stardew Valley.

But man, considering Mako’s abilities, someone should have recruited her during the carbonite years instead of her being left to barely scrape by? She could have run rings around every slicer in the game, with the possible exception of Holiday.

Was finally able to finish this artwork of my SWTOR OC Inixa, Chiss bounty hunter, as a mermaid! Design inspired by the highly poisonous, but gorgeous looking Mandarin fish. Mer!Nix does not like the depths and can usually be found napping around coral reefs, surrounded by piles and piles of treasures. She's been pillaging sunken ships for years now and has amassed quite an impressive collection by now. If you try to lay a finger on her treasures, she can AND she will murder you slowly with her poisonous bite :-)

Nightmare Pilgrim

STAR FORGE EVENT: We are planning to do the Aratech Coral quest both side on January. It consist on killing on the same toon three time the Nightmare Pilgrim (Voss) and three other WB. (two on Hoth, one on Belsavis). We will focus on killing the NP, and try to kill the other, but as a week-end, we might miss some of the other wb, so you might have to kill them by yourself with another group later, or we will do a world boss hunt later the newt week). Anyway. It will last around two hours.

It’s a boss outside a phase so you don’t need to be subscribed

NP is a hard boss. You need at least 300 gear to join.

It will be Empire Side first, on Saturday 16 January, 9 pm EST!

Republic side on 17 January, 9pm EST.

We will need 3 tanks, 4 healer and 11 dps.

I got nothing better to do (no), so have a list of things I’d like to change or add in BH story

This list more likely isn’t going to cover everything, but I may add some things later. These will be related to plot, characters and maybe something else.

Also, these things can easily be headcanons (which they are for me), but I’d just like to see them in game (though it is not possible, i know), unlike some my other hcs for this storyline.

And remember, this is just my stupid opinion.

And definitely spoilers are ahead.

1. I’d like to have a “why did you sign up for the Great Hunt?” talk earlier, on one of starter planets.

Okay, hear me out. I know that this is the kind of thing you make up yourself rather than being given to you by game, but if we have this question asked somewhere in chapter 2 (and there’s a good chance of not getting it at all on female characters), when it’s not exactly relevant, why not to add it, idk, maybe on Dromund Kaas from Mako. Don’t tell me she wouldn’t ask. She would, and you know it. Why? Because, in my opinion, it would make winning the Great Hunt more satisfying.

2. Make rivals in chapter 1 have more importance than just being guys to kill. 

First, we’ll need to know more, or, in this case, know anything at all about our rival on Alderaan. Does anyone know who he was (without going to other sources)? Neither do I. Second, what do I mean by “have more importance”? Have you ever had a feeling that the only important or interesting parts of the Great Hunt are the beginning (mostly Tarro killing Braden and Jory), the end (killing Tarro and winning), and maybe a few lines from Mako? Because I sure had this feeling. 

But I see a potential for something more in rivals we’ll need to kill to get to the next round. They can be reflections of our character’s flaws as a bounty hunter (and it could make them think or even change their way if you’re not playing an honorable warrior from the start). Or they may represent what our BH could become if they follow an easy path of hiding behind a droid instead of proving your own strength (remember Nar Shadaa), making others do your job for you (Balmorra), or just doing things purely for money (Tatooine) (that is for more Mando-like BH). Or these rivals can be examples of how out BH can do things (if we have a very young BH who will learn some things from the Great Hunt).

In other words, make them affect the main character in a meaningful way.

3. Give more info on our main rival.

Speaking of rivals, you know what would make the ending of chapter 1 even better? Actually giving Tarro more background and characterization because, you know, he’s our main rival throughout the whole hunt, while still making us want to kill the guy without a second thought (well, this part is already here). Hell, Jun Seros, while still not having his friendship with Kelian Jarro shown, which drove him to get revenge on us, is given more characterization in less time. Yes, we do know a few things about Tarro, but is it enough to understand his character? Stories are often defined by its villains (not my saying), and it definitely is the case here. I know SWTOR is a mmorpg and cannot always afford detailed stories (especially when there are at least 8 of them), but it has potential, it’s just often not used properly. Not going to write the whole essay here, I have another thing planned for this, but I couldn’t miss it here.

4. What about Mandalore?

Ok, that’s a pretty well-known complaint, but I’m still gonna place it here. If BH chooses to join the clans, it’s a big deal. You’re not just a lone merc (with a small crew, but lone merc nonetheless), but a part of not just a gang or something, but a whole new culture. Yet we don’t get enough of this culture actually affecting BH life. Who knows, maybe being a Mando not having a noticeable impact on Champion’s life is the point, but I really don’t think so.

5. Have more time between being put to Republic’s most wanted list and agreeing to see Tormen.

Oh, this is a heavily personal headcanon, but I have reasons. Was anyone bothered by how quickly Hunter accepted Tormen’s request (well, we’re not given a choice in this matter)? I thought that working for a Sith isn’t always a good idea, and not giving us time to think makes it look like Hunter hasn’t even thought this through without trying other options. Yes, they are in great danger because of a huge bounty on their head, have almost no help or no help at all, and doing nothing won’t help. But. They didn’t even try to do something else than to immediately go to a Sith who seems pretty trustworthy and definitely not going to set a trap (sarcasm). I know we can have at least two offers from Blizz and Gault, but we can’t even consider them bc the game sends us to Tormen. Giving the crew some time to actually consider other courses of action, and only after failing at them travel to Tormen’s ship would show that there's no holding back, there are no options left. It doesn’t need to be a long period of time, maybe a few weeks (or even less) would be enough.

6. Get rid of Skadge. Really.

7. Mako’s quest - so, what happened next?

This was spoken about before, but I’m going to say something different here (or maybe not, maybe people already know this). Her side quest is not ended properly IMO. It would be better if we either had a continuation of this, learning more about Mako’s whereabouts. Or, what I like even more, if we had Mako admitting that any further research about project 32 won’t give her anything she doesn’t already have. The rest of the girls from the project are dead, Coral is in custody (or dead, your choice), and really, what is learning about the project will give Mako? It definitely not going to bring her family back, and at this point, she doesn’t care about Coral. Besides, she has our little space family now, so moving on seems like a logical decision.

8. Just add more conversations between all members of the crew (but it goes to all classes, really).

Just as title says.

And also some little things that I personally would love to have:

- give Blizz a rocket launcher!

- hey, let me have Mando’a lessons without having to flirt;

- I remember Gault promising to give Hunter a few lessons about compliments, where are they?

- why is there only one punchable Alderaanian face?

- same goes to Pirell;

- putting fucking slave collars on selonian. get rid of this, right now.

On Nathema

With Keilla's run, all eight classes have now completed KOTET, the traitor arc and Ossus. Yay!

I was thinking of the enemies that show up on Nathema. There are a few that broke my heart, some that made perfect sense and many that left me scratching my head. FWIW, this is the rundown of who showed up for my toons, and who I would have chosen instead.  On the one hand since Nathema wiped out so many story NPCs in one blow, it was nice that everyone ever wasn’t sacrificed. On the other hand, I feel like that moment was supposed to be an emotional punch and it really wasn’t for some classes IMHO. 

****SPOILERS FOR ALL EIGHT CLASSES OF SWTOR AND DISCUSSION OF WHO SHOWS UP ON NATHEMA FOR THEM *****

My characters got:  Viri (Sith Warrior): Darth Ravage. * Jia, Suvia (Sith Inquisitors): Zash Ikina (Imperial Agent): Marcus Trant Taran (Bounty Hunter): Janarus's wife

Lira (Jedi Knight): Master Kwiks Jenari (Jedi Consular): Gaden Ko Amedria (Smuggler): Master Sumalee Keilla (Trooper): General Garza

* Darth Baras inexplicably showed up on the Viri clone that was made with a Level 60 token.

I think...there might have been other choices for some of the classes.

Jedi Knight: Neither option here makes sense to me very much. I would have gone with:

Darth Mortis - I think he would have packed more of a punch here, because I could see him being like, "no fucking way I'm letting a Jedi run the galaxy."  Ravage could have taken his place as the Sith who aligns with Vinn Atrius if the Commander chose to be a peacekeeper. Master Kaedan - If he had not been killed on Ilum, he would have worked well here. He was already suspicious of a DS Jedi Knight and was willing to kill others to protect his assets.

Smuggler: I think the problem with the Smuggler is that most of the people who want them dead have already showed up in the game. Sumalee was a heartbreak. I didn't think the Voidwolf's daughter or whoever was effective but I have no idea who would have gone in her place.

Trooper: Garza made sense and I was honestly glad to take her out. For the other:

Lt. Pierce - This one would have been an absolute gut punch and I am glad that they didn't do this, since Pierce is alive in all stories and could thus possibly show up again. But I think he would have made sense and would have had more of an emotional impact for players who did the other classes, especially Sith Warrior. After all the trooper undoes all his work in taking the Bastion and that's the highlight of his career. Grand Moff Regus - Again, I am glad they didn't, so that he has a chance of reappearing, but this would have been an Imperial officer that more players would have recognized, and they could have framed it as him finally taking a shot at the leader of Havoc Squad.

Sith Warrior: Baras makes sense, although I can't understand why anyone would actually have saved him. As for Ravage, meh.

Servant One: I think it would have made more sense to throw him in here instead of Ravage. The Servants could be incensed that the Wrath turned her back on their beloved Vitiate.

Sith Inquisitor: this is the one class I think is 1000% perfect.

Bounty Hunter: Yeah so I have no idea who either of these people is or why I should care about them. I'd change it to:

Coral: Perhaps Coral survived after all and still has a grudge that the BH and Mako tracked her down and fought her. Maybe you only killed the clone you thought was Coral... Crysta's daughter: I don't know what her motivation would have been, but at least it would have been someone that the BH knew.

Imperial Agent: One of them is a heartbreak. The other has to be Googled. Or at least, I did. I’d have used: 

Darth Zhorrid: You know she's not on the Dark Council anymore but there's no confirmation she's actually dead, and she surely doesn't need a reason to kill you, she just will. And if you sided with Jadus in the IA story she has ample reason to want revenge. I think she would have been more effective than Trant.

FAVORITE BOOKS. Unsure at the moment. I really enjoyed American Gods by Neil Gaiman, but i haven’t read a book I super, duper loved in a while. I have a backlog I’m interested in though. (Fifth Season has been sitting meaningfully on my desk for little while.)

LAST SONG LISTENED TO:  Mako - Coyote - Going to make it a Tiergan song.

LAST FILM WATCHED.  Shazam on the airplane home. It was way better than I was expecting, but got cut short, because the airplane TV borked itself, so now I’m going to try and finish watching it later.

INSPIRATION FOR MUSE.  A mix of Roman Gladiators and my SWTOR Jedi Knight character of the same name who was formerly a slave to a Sith Lord. The Sith Lord realised SWTOR!Tiergan was force-sensitive and tried to shape him into an apprentice, only for Tiergan to escape when the Jedi struck the same plant the Sith Lord was on. SWTOR!Tiergan then had the opportunity to become a padawan to a Jedi master. What I loved most from that character was his constant struggle between his old self (a man full of bitterness, anger, selfishness, and grief from being shaped into a sith apprentice in an environment of extreme trauma) vs the person he wanted to become (a noble knight free of his hatred and rage, able to help others and be self-sacrificing.) The threads of that run through FFXIV!Tiergan in his struggle between who he was (a man full of bitterness, anger, selfishness, and grief from being shaped into a weapon in an environment of extreme trauma) vs the person he wants to become (a kind, good person free of his pain, helping others, and able to finally form the friendships and bonds of closeness he secretly craves.) There’s also a sprinkling of Storm from X-Men. She’s my favorite superhero, which tied into a lot of Lurial’s traits, appearance, etc, and subsequently tied into Tiergan looking as he does due to being Lurial’s brother. (Lurial was previously my main before Tiergan was.)

5. Top five formative books?

Most of my formative books are part of theGerman literature so I would not expect you to know all of them.

    1 “Nijura”, Jenny Mai Nguyen. First time Iread a fantasy novel with a female character in it and I still read it fromtime to time.

    2 “Mimus”, Lili Thal. Really funny wordplays and some very complex interactions between people and a double-sidednessof some characters.

    3 “Sansibaroder der letzte Grund“, Alfred Andersch. This is part of the „Trümmerliteratur“(Germany, 1945-1950) and this is where I first met the style I adopted into mywriting. Inner thoughts and how to incorporate them into a plot.

    4 „Das Parfüm“, Patrick Süskind. It was awild ride when I read it. No clue what I liked about it, but as someone who hasan auditory processing disorder I liked the immersion of one way of perception.

    5 „Effi Briest“, Theodor Fontane. It ispart of the poetic Realism, so a lot of symbolism are worked in. I loved reading itwith a passion and finding those little details where I could justgo “HAH!”. Anyhow, I am not good at implementing it but I am trying.

AlsoCornelia Funke was a major part of my reading when I was a really young teen. Wouldn’tbe able to tell you how it influenced me, but I think about some of her seriesto this day. For example, “Tintenherz” and “Die Wilden Hühner”.

12. Which story of yours doyou like best? why?

Ehhh, I like them equally honestly. But I tendto hyperfocus on one and it cycles out until I am back to the one I started outon. At the moment I am super proud of my fic series with my SWTOR OC Edenye.Mostly because I finally figured out how to write a force-sensitive perceptionof the world.

The others would be: Voice of Strife,Ba’slan’at to ba’slat. (I love those stories to bits too)

18. Tell us about that onebook you’ll never let anyone read

You mean about a WIP I’d never publish? Ihave one with my favourite Swtor OC Teymin. But because I made her with a verytoxic ex-boyfriend and a lot of his friends know the name (I should not have gone into ranked pvp with her, got the silver flag though!), I am probably notgoing to publish it for a long while. 

21. What aspect of yourwriting are you most proud of?

Eh… the inner dialogue and thoughtimmersion of a character I’d say I am proud of most? Honestly I have no ideawhat people appreciate about my writing, so I am not confident making thatstatement. Some say they cannot really read the style. I get more feedback onwhat happens in the story and not what they like about my writing.

Some of the scholars in the white tower on the cliffabove her head said it had to do with the corals and limestone that litteredthe beaches and underneath the water. Though, the folk tale had a prettierexplanation: tears of Aldmeri who lost their loves filled the sea when Aurielfought Lorkhan.”

So I have this big book of names that I only just found recently, and while I was trying to get some sleep, I decided to go through it and look for some swtor companion names. Not many of those in there but I did find a couple.

Theron: (Greek) hunter Lana: (Greek) light, (Polynesian) float lmao Kira: (Latin) light, (Persian) sun, (Russian) light Shan: (Chinese) coral

These were the ones that I found. Don’t know how accurate these are tbh, but anyway... yeah...
