The possibility of a Red x MC x Chase poly in an AU left me with two main thoughts:

1. I'm concerned that my MC's type seems to be flirty, charismatic, socially-perceptive playboys that she thinks will never be serious about their relationships (but really funny of her to make them fall for her without even realizing)

2. MC: "If I had a nickel for every time a playboy fell helplessly in love with me, I'd have two nickels– which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice."

If I had a nickel for every time I'd gotten obsessed with a show featuring a man with big sad eyes and abs and abandonment issues from his parent(s) who got real territorial about a new guy joining his team who has a medical background and an allergy to talking about feelings and served in some medical capacity overseas, only to do a complete 180 and become obsessed with the new guy and completely integrate their lives together, all presented to me by Ryan Murphy and featuring a ton of casual queer representation, I'd have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot but feels weird that it's happened twice.

Respect to all the fan fictions where Fox “Slow Burn” Mulder’s pining ass asks Scully on a date but at this point his track record for that is so ass, if I had a nickel for every time someone disguised as Mulder made a move on Scully as a supremely OOC move to use his looks to their advantage I’d have two nickels, which is not a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice, girly needs to start pulling a gun on him the second he makes an overt advance, it would probably save her a stupid amount of trouble
