Helping with household chores. I’ve mentioned this before, but he seems to really enjoy moments of simple domesticity, and I think that would extend into your relationship. Yoongi and Jin joked during Suchwita about how Jungkook tends to space out or not always pay super close attention during conversations, but when it comes to you, he makes a conscious effort to pay super close attention, even if you’re just ranting about why mint chocolate is a superior flavor of ice cream. Babying each other. As I mentioned in my other lists, he’s had to kinda fight to shake the perception of him as the cute little maknae of the group, but he can’t help but melt whenever you dote on him, and the same applies to you. He doesn’t mind being your baby, but he absolutely loves getting to take care of his baby.

This one goes against almost everything I’ve said before about his possessive streak but, being friends with his friends. He’s very protective of his friends and loved ones, so letting you into his inner circle of friends is a real sign of trust and commitment from him, and seeing you getting along with Jimin or Mingyu means the world to him(even tho he might still get a lil jealous sometimes).

Gaming (💀🧼)

chock full my own personal HCs and ideas, mostly unhinged rambling about Ghoap if they were into video games/gaming habits because brainworms and rot

Ghost is a complete fucking nerd, he's autistically obsessed with DND, Skyrim, Bloodborne, Dark Souls, etc. Their eyes will light up whenever someone asks him about these games/interests in particular, and whenever they get the chance to geek out and talk about them/it he will of course talk your ear off about it. Soap always listening to it's nerdy rants with equal enthusiasm, as he just loves to hear Simon talk no matter what it’s about, but also because he’s always so eager to learn. Ghost also occasionally likes to play fifa or rocket league or something along those lines, but it gets major game rage when it plays those games because he sucks ass at it. Also, they've probably got like 2,500+ hours in Skyrim alone. Even if sports related games aren’t their strong suit, he’s really good at other games, with being so fucking sweaty when it comes to Bloodborne, Skyrim, Dark Souls, etc, it's no surprise that it's like god-tier at it. He's very good at rhythm games, but particularly they enjoy Guitar Hero and Project Diva and has perfected all songs across multiple games on maximum or higher difficulties. It also positively dominates on games like Overwatch (they are a Diva/Moira main), Super Smash Bros. (he's a Donkey Kong/Bowser main), and practically any first person shooter with online play. When it comes to first person shooters, they strictly play with other players and doesn't care about the campaign/story mode. Every now and then it'll get Johnny to join them for a round of DND or play Skyrim with him, and even though Soap isn’t nearly as experienced in the game as Ghost is, they still both have a lot of fun. Soap listening to Simon’s autistic rants pays off in some instances, like when faced with different enemies or characters he can name them or knows what they do, or he can even recall certain lore that's interesting to him. (Soap being hella ADHD, and even though he tries his best to listen he struggles with processing information, (APD gang), and often has people repeat themselves, or he just totally forgets stuff unless he's makes it a point to commit it to memory).

Soap is the complete opposite from Ghost he’s really not that much of a gamer at all, he's certainly not any good at most competitive-based games anyhow. He's into the more casual or feel good kind of games, like Animal Crossing, Stardew Valley, Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons, or any cozy life simulator type game—he even plays the Sims every once in a while. Where he’s virtually created his ideal life with Simon, a nice two story house, a couple of kids running around (two daughters).—Has meticulously outfitted and created him and Simon to be as accurate to real life as possible, as well as their two kids (Scarlett and Bonnie), (or at least what he would imagine them to look like). Even though, he absolutely loves what the two have, a man can dream. He has Ghost give their own input on the little life that he’s built for them in the Sims, and Simon will gladly give suggestions and tell him what to do with certain things, whether it’s their house, pets, clothes/accessories, etc. Johnny also always asks for name suggestions when it comes to new pets or sims. Soap has like at least 5000+ hours in Animal Crossing, on New Leaf, New Horizons, and City Folk each. With his island/towns completely decked out and decorated—with everything you can possibly think of unlocked. He’ll whip up Animal Crossing in order to destress at the end of the day, and always makes sure to login and do his daily tasks and chores on all three games (or at least when he can). He'll even take his 3DS with him on long missions (if he's able to), and if he has the time and is not too exhausted he'll play New Leaf for a bit before going to sleep. He's 100%'d Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons and Stardew Valley, his farms being as fancy as can be, though he doesn't play them nearly as much.—He'll only play for a little while before getting off. In a similar vein, Ghost will play Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley with Soap (as Johnny’s created multiple profiles across all games for them so that they can play together) every now and then. Ghost always half-jokes that he’s gonna kill Soap’s spouse in Stardew, (Harvey, because in Johnny’s eyes he’s the bachelor that looks the most like Simon), getting all jealous and possessive, and Soap thinks it’s adorable. Ghost feels like a kid again when he’s playing Animal Crossing. It's favorite villagers/characters being Stitches and Celeste, Stitches because it reminds them of an old beloved teddy bear he had as a child, and Celeste because she's adorable and because making constellations is their favorite thing to do in City Folk, plus, the zodiac themed furniture is their favorite furniture set in New Horizons. Johnny being particularly fond of Shep, and CJ/Flick, because Shep reminds him of one of his childhood dogs growing up (an Old English Sheepdog named Mack), and CJ and Flick because they remind him of him and Simon.

Another game the two will play together is Wii Sports or Wii Sports Resort. Johnny and Simon are both incredibly competitive, and will talk shit to one another during the entirety of a game—start to finish. They’ve gotten into petty spats over wounded pride or some “bullshit play”/“cheating”.

It always seems to slip Simon’s mind to put on the fucking wrist strap for the Wii remote before they start playing, so they've chucked it full force into the TV on multiple occasions. Shattering it or severely damaging it, because he’s too fucking strong for it's own good. 💀 Johnny will sometimes yell at them, and is naturally always upset, because most of the time when it happens he has to go out and buy a brand new TV, which is expensive.

"Si, baby, I love you, but please remember to put on your bloody wrist strap", he sighs.

But Soap despite his frustration can't stay mad at it for long, and forgives him shortly afterwards.

"I know ye didn't mean to", he feels horrible, because he knows that Ghost has a lot discomfort and even trauma when it comes to people yelling or screaming at them. Johnny always tries his best not to raise his voice at it, though sometimes it just comes out.

Simon starts crying, which makes Soap feel even worse and like a total dick. Though Ghost understands that sometimes Johnny can't help but raise his voice, it still triggers them. Soap goes to them almost immediately and takes him to the couch, wrapping his arms around it in a tight, but warm embrace. He holds Simon and tries his best to comfort them, whispering sweet words into his ear and telling them everything they need to hear in the moment—

“I’m not mad or anything, you know I could never stay mad at you mo chirdhe.”

“The last thing I’d ever want to do would be to hurt you, I’m so so sorry.”

“I love you more than anything, I’d give you the world and then some if I could.”

Ghost eventually calms down, its face still flushed and wet with tears. He kisses Johnny. Oh so, passionately.

“Then why don’t you prove just how much you love me?”, they say with a mischievous glint in their eyes.

“There’s nothing I’d want to do more, my sweet”, Soap chuckles. [END]

Oh yeah, also Johnny and Simon's favorite games to play together in Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort respectively are golf (because they're both white as hell), and swordplay (because it's more violent and action-packed compared to the other games). Soap's favorite sports to play on his own on Wii Sports/Wii Sports Resort are baseball and archery, while Ghost likes boxing and basketball.

*cracks knuckles* Do i ever. (a bunch of these will be just. straight from some of my fics but eh whatever i love them)

Four absolutely heard stories about Sky, particularly as a child. Sky was probably a cross between George Washington and, like, Odysseus to his era. Someone legendary, a hero just toeing the line between history and myth. No one's 100% certain he's real, but Four believes it. (So does Dot)

In Four's era, there is a constellation known as the Godslayer constellation. Enough said.

Sky's love of flying and his experience in piloting parallels Four's ceaseless examination of minute details. Four likes dealing in the little things that make big results, so he ends up being really fascinated with how exactly Sky's Loftwing can fly and how it evolved. And hey, giant specimen that won't eat him? Big win.

Four gets along so well with Minish engineers and scientists. It's scary.

Sky took up woodcarving as a meditative art. He couldn't focus for long enough (inattentive ADHD) so woodcarving became a way to learn to focus and complete tasks, and he just sorta fell in love. He probably learned with Gondo.

Speaking of, Gondo is probably his favorite shopkeeper at the Bazaar. Sky was totally the type of kid to pester him with questions and stories and anecdotes while he worked, and Gondo was kind and patient enough to let him. He also liked the company.

Sky and Four both seem pretty chill (one's a mom friend and one's pretty smart/inquisitive/has common sense?), which is why no one ever suspects them when they team up and pull the most ridiculous pranks. (Wild knows, though. His best friend is Flora. He knows how absolutely insane scientists are, and he and Sky regularly drag each other around on misadventures. When there is a prank war, Wild only makes Four's and Sky's favorite dishes. They scare him.)

Sky's soul doesn't display his physical scars. In Silent Realms, you can only see cracks and impacts where Guardians have gotten him. They glow.

Sky likes listening to Four ramble about cool stuff he's learned. He has no idea what Four's talking about half the time, but Four is always so excited to have someone listen that all of his walls come down and you can see the Colors more clearly. Sky adores it so much.

Speaking of, after Four Swords, i think Four came back together, but rather than being four people piloting a meatsuit together or just a single person again, he's more like a granny square blanket. He's one dude, but different characteristics will show more overtly depending on the situation, and when put under stress, the seams begin to rip until he has to use the Four Sword to split. Otherwise, he gets a super migraine and just can't function. Also, magic fucks with him.

I read a fic where Four had a stutter and that's canon to me now. Like. yeah.

Sky much prefers the application of things to the theory. He's a smart guy for sure, canonically breezed/slept through all of his classes and did well while Groose had to work his ass off, but while he was able to absorb the information easily, it just didn't engage him and he wasn't all that interested. His favorite classes were in the Sparring Hall and in the air on his Loftwing. As I said before, real ADHD guy.

Sky's Loftwing is named Bird. Sun's is Blue, and Groose's is Fast. I'm sure some kids made up cool names like Felicia and Arnold, but I love the idea that they were childhood friends before, like, middle school years, so they probably shared a single braincell.

Four ends up teaching Sky metallurgy and stuff when they get a chance to chill at the forge. Sky teaches Four woodworking/carving.

Sky is good at physics.

Four is like. SO autistic to me, what a guy, and the Chosen Hero is and has been a big special interest, so meeting Sky is like the best moment of his LIFE. He was probably trying to do some detective work with the other Links as subjects when he meets Sky and he just gets SO excited, it's adorable. Sky sees him, learns he's his successor, and immediately loves him forever. They are besties your honor.

so 358/2 days, amiright? heres my thoughts

this game is just. god its an emotional rollarcoaster

i guess ill start with the things i dont like!! which is mostly the gameplay. i dont really mind the mission structure shockingly (i like being able to roam around but having a clear goal makes things easier for my adhd ass, and i think the miniature storylines are very good for the most part) but i simply could Not get into the combat. especially coming off of kh2 it feels so stiff and unfun to play the only part of the game where i enjoyed the combat was fighting riku at the very end. i think the panel system is okay but i dont like that levels take up space. why did they do that.

story-wise, i dont like the retcons!! a lot of the ones i take issue with are very minor but things like roxas only fighting riku once instead of the implied multiple times (even the dialogue doesnt make sense when you change that, why does roxas say 'how many times do i have to beat you' when theyve only fought once?) are the kinds of inconsistencies that just annoy me.

im also a little bit annoyed at the very concept of this game at all. i think roxas worked just fine as a character without this game. it feels sort of unnecessary in the grand scheme of things. also, xion. i love xion, dont get me wrong, but i dont think she adds anything to the series over all. thats not to say she doesnt add anything to this game because shes a great character and i love her, but shes just. kind of like this game in that if you got rid of her i dont think it would really change the narrative so much.

BUT DESPITE THAT ALL!!!!!!!! i fucking ADORE this game. it is genuinely so full of charm and soul that i just cant bring myself to dislike it. i think this is one of the best written games in terms of dialogue. every scene (at least for me) hit exactly as emotionally hard as i think it was meant to. i was laughing at demyx's antics and crying at xions death and yelling at saix and i think thats exactly how the game is meant to be seen.

days at its heart is a slice of life. its working a 9 to 5 its going through a depressive episode its losing friends its grieving its making fun of your coworkers its living. its a game about life and i love that.

this game really did make me forget that axel roxas and xion dont get a happy ending. i spent so much time looking forward to them making up that i forgot that roxas ran away. hell i almost forgot that xion died.

days is emotional and its story and its characters are just so fucking good. the conflicts all felt very real and you can tell exactly where everyones coming from. the way axel roxas and xion fall apart hits so fucking close to home. but god damnit if axel had any good communication skills like half of this could be avoided

its also one hell of a love letter to axel's character. hes always been one of my favorites (he recently earned first place) and i think this game does him a lot of justice. hes trying to do good. he wants to keep everything together he wants to be there for his friends he wants to make things right but he just cant. its just AUGH its so fucking good

that thing about axel's characterization really also applies to roxas. i dont have much to say about him beyond the fact that i think it does his character very well. also tism. hes so autism.

i kind of like the very limited graphics too. sue me i enjoy low quality games. the hands are not animated and they all have two expressions (blinking and not blinking) and their weapons are flat and im living for it. the very few fully animated cutscenes are good too!!

the (real, i dont count riku) final boss is unfortunately very easy. you can just stand directly in front of her and mash a she wont hit you its too easy but vector to the heavens did mess me up a bit. also earlier scene but "ill always be there to bring you back" with the other promise playing over it? fucked me up man. yoko shimomura is once again killing it

i cant believe roxas didnt get to go to the beach.

i have to give this game a 9/10. its writing is incredible but the gameplay could use a lot of work. its just not fun to play. but again the characters, emotions, and music all make up for that tenfold.

I like the idea of a medic scout friendship. ive seen people try and make medic his dad and like I dont know I feel like you can look up to someone without making them your dad. that interpretation of their relationship is not my favorite but to each their own as they say. maybe im the weird one but I like to project my social anxiety onto scout. like this guy is similar enough where it feels like im allowed to do that. lol. well the point is I like to imagine scout considers people he talks to and is around often enough as friends regardless of how hes treated because they talk to him, if they really hated him they'd leave forever, right? I call it the friendship system, if someone tolerates us enough to keep coming back theyre my friend now. anyway I like to think medic has spoken/hung around scout envienbijv. this ask is a disjointed mess. I really like making scout worse by taking parts of myself and twisting them to try and fit the charater because if it doesn't ill be too embarrassed. like is it lame to want medic to keep everyone awake for surgery and make small talk at them and some of the mercs like it more, and scouts just come to associate it with "hanging out with medic" time? But fr though, if it was specifically nagisa and ibara whatever teacher their kid has would simply not be able to explain that they CANT talk to the parents about the problem like their coworkers suggest because the last time they talked to his first dad about a verbal fight his kid got into they learned where they got THAT from when they were effectively gaslit into thinking it was their fault for not keeping a better eye on the children and the last time they talked to their second dad about what they use at home to keep their focus so they can effectively teach them despite their specific interests they learned where they got THAT from after receiving a 30 minute geology lesson over the phone. Eventually they just have a whole ass cheat sheet for who they have to contact for which specific problems and even then half the roads lead to giving up.

Some coworkers with little context insist that surely the kid is acting out due to a complicated home life but nope. They thought the same thing and did a little investigating and turns out they’re probably one of the most well taken care of kids in their class. Like BEYOND the average good parenting. Comes in happy and healthy and with one of the most ornate lunch boxes they’ve ever seen (bc let’s be real niki would still be in the picture. He would have no idea how to interact with children and ESPECIALLY not theirs but kids like food so surely that’s enough to earn their trust and friendship) and everything is in tip-top shape but they just. CANNOT. FUNCTION IN A CLASSROOM. IN ANY WAY POSSIBLE.

Souyo / Yu x Yosuke headcanon

When Yu came to Inaba they originally didn't want any friends or anyone getting too close, Yosuke broke that and became his best friend but ironically he didn't want Yu to get too close to him and know his true feelings. They both save each other from shutting themselves off. Beautiful.

1. HMMMMMM I think this is a tie between Ian, my sweet cheese, my rotten solider, my good time boy FOREVER and Lip.

Ian because barring a bit in the middle there (which was understandable) he's probably the most optimistic of them all. He can see a better life for himself and he's gonna make it happen and he believes he deserves it! He's adaptable (middle child shit) and has that Gallagher ability to think outside the box. A trait he and Lip share as they become adults that I love dearly is their desire to grow and change and be better, even if means admitting some hard things and taking responsibility for bad choices. I don't love the whole gay Jesus storyline (could have been handled in a way that felt less gimmicky imo) but I did like that Ian wasn't going to not own up to the why of his actions, especially because it shows him putting his needs before those of others, ie his little cult following, because he can't heal from it or begin to make amends if he's not honest. He doesn't want to be Monica, who could never accept her diagnosis and her own culpability in bad decisions AND she didn't let anyone be the support system Ian builds for himself with his siblings and Mickey to help him make the good choices when all his brain wants is the other ones.

Lip has those self-sabotaging tendencies of a person who doesn't believe he belongs, or that he shouldn't get good things, and the added pressure of everyone telling you forever how smart you are and how you're gonna be The One who gets out/makes something of themselves/changes everything for the family/etc and when suddenly shit is hard???? And you feel like you can't say anything because you're The One??? And you feel guilty for not being home and for enjoying being your own individual person for the first time in your entire life???? It broke my heart to see him try to half-ass sobriety in some attempt to keep hold of how he wasn't like Frank, he was better, he was The One, but it was great to see him accept that he the best way to be NOT like Frank was to accept that this was a problem he had and that he needed to do something about it. My feelings on how, in the later seasons, they could have utilized his rocky path to being a better person and embracing the growing emotional intelligence and communication skills that come with doing a 12 step program like AA are MANY (and I have OPINIONS on all how the arcs of all the siblings went real fucking sideways out of nowhere) and I am sad every day we got the set up for something great for him and they leaned into Dumb Shenanigans instead.

2. I have more in common with with Lip than most of the others, in that I had that idea that as the "you're so smart! Everything is so easy for you!" gifted kid I had a really really hard time accepting when shit was no longer easy and also understanding that I could ask for help, because who was I if I wasn't those things and ALSO no one believed me when I did ask, because I was so smart and everything was easy so I just wasn't trying hard enough surely (the adult diagnosis of severe ADHD really put a lot of this into context). I struggle to accept when things change for how I thought I would be and I also have the tendency to not believe I deserve good things, but unlike Lip I've done enough therapy to be able to push back when the brain gremlins come calling. I also looked at the family history of substance abuse and alcoholism and went "nah I don't think I'm gonna drink when I'm stressed, seems like tempting fate" which he didn't do till he had to, but I can absolutely see myself going a different route if the drinking culture I grew up with had been more casual.

Austin is not settling down anytime soon. He is going to be working on his career and probably won’t get married until he is in his mid to late 30s. Nobody here actually knows what goes on in their “relationship”. Everybody just has theories. So as much as people may argue with the fact that we are “delusional” and that they “couldn’t be more in love” and that they are ���endgame” they are just spewing shit out of their ass. Just like we don’t know what there relationship is like, neither do they. Yet they think that because they are happy for his relationship that they are better than us. We don’t think that this is pr because we are jealous and want to be with him (don’t get me wrong I would kill to be with Austin but I’m not delusional and I know that, that is never going to happen.) we think this is pr because we have seen time and time again that he doesn’t look happy. We have seen time and time again pr ploys to get us to believe that they are in love. We have seen time and time again that Kaia calls the paps to show how good of a “girlfriend” she is. And we have seen time and time again that he wants out. He does it in simple ways of lashing out when he’s papped with her, wearing a mask, not holding her hand, etc. I hope that when he gets out. Whether that is this year or next that he will take some time to focus on himself and maybe a year after he is recovered he will be able to date for real and find his forever person eventually. Hiii :) Can i ask for writing advice? If so, How do you write robs advice? Or how do you write a character giving advice to another character without being “problematic” and having the advice actually make sense? How do you make solutions in a fic?

Oh, sure. I don't know how helpful I can be on this front, but I'll throw my two cents together.

So, part of it is just experience. Idk how old you are, but I am at least not desirable to Leonardo DiCaprio. Life has thrown me some real curveballs, I've done the therapy thing a couple times. Just having some life under my belt helps a lot in writing Rob stuff. I've got some perspective, I've talked with therapists and had my brain thoughts prodded and shaped to be Better, to be more aware of them and my emotions to better manage them.

So, that's what I'm drawing from when I write Rob stuff and advice. I try to do my best with it, but I wouldn't base anything Real off of what I have Rob say. I don't know that it would hold up under the scrutiny of an actual therapist. But I write what I think sounds good and makes sense to me from how I'm thinking about Number's thoughts/reasoning and where it should be interrupted/redirected. I know where Five's thinking is broken, so I know where Rob needs to prod.

And that's not to say you can't write people giving advice or therapist characters if you don't have experience with them. I'm really lucky I've been able to get the therapy I needed when I've needed it. But for writing it, all it's really based in is self-care and working on healthy thought patterns, which are things you can look up and read about. There are so many self-help articles and books out there. I also like listening to HealthyGamer on YouTube, which I recommend anyway. He's a therapist that interviews/talks with streamers and also breaks down big mental health ideas (how to set boundaries, ADHD, depression, gifted kids...). I've learned some good stuff from him, and his interviews are interesting.

I don't totally follow what you mean by problematic (message me a follow-up if there's a specific thing that's relevant). If it's a fear of giving bad advice, I have two fronts for that. 1) This is fanfic. I don't have a disclaimer of "hey don't follow any medical advice given in this fic" because I think that should be self-explanatory. I do the best I can, I work to make it sound good, but at the end of the day, I am writing this for free in my evenings after my real job. If someone is really mad about what I'm writing, there's a back button at the top of the screen. 2) You don't want all your advice to be Right. Characters have misunderstandings, maybe don't read a situation right and give the wrong advice. Maybe they're just not experienced enough to say the right thing or don't have all the information they need to make the right call. I think it makes it more meaningful to not have a 100% accuracy for a character doing/saying the right thing. They're human. It's more interesting, too.

How advice comes across also depends on the relationship of who's giving it and who's receiving it. In Joining Together, Rob is a psychiatrist, he's over 15 years older than Five, and isn't associated with the Umbrella Academy. Advice from him hits much different than, say, Klaus telling Five the same thing. Five might listen to Rob from the getgo. He is going to ignore Klaus on principle, at least until it really bites him in the ass and then he might grudgingly consider the advice. Use that, use your characters and their existing relationships to shape how advice is given and how it is heeded (or not). The reader may know if advice is good or not, but your characters don't - use that possible irony. It's delicious.

Lastly, and broadly, how do you make solutions in a fic. If you have a more specific question directed towards this, feel free to follow up. But, interpreting this as "how do you fix things" outside of the overarching plot, it's about having a starting point and and end point, and then mapping out how you get from Point A to Point B (...which is also what you do for the overarching plot). How you map is up to you - many people outline, I don't; it's all just in my head with a general trajectory. But you need little steps between those points so that readers can notice that progress is happening, that it's not a sudden change. An example from Joining Together is that Five had to go from Asshole Loner Number Five to Friends With Rob And Sarah. This took me like 60k words to do, which I did not expect, but was how slow it had to grow for it to feel realistic for Five. The steps we had to get through were 1) Five works with Sarah 2) Five realizes he respects Sarah 3) Five learns Sarah will apologize when she's hurt him 4) Five learns he can rely on Sarah for help when he's hurt 5) Five tries to go to Sarah for emotional help (he gets Rob) 6) Five learns both Rob and Sarah have his back and can be trusted -> Friends. How to pace a journey from A to B depends on the journey, the fic, and the fic length. The technical side of pacing growth is something you figure out through experience, just writing and playing around with what you're doing until you're happy.

This got long, but hopefully it's not just me rambling to hear my own voice and there's something helpful in there. I spend a lot of time just Thinking and then, once I do have words down on the page, tweaking to get it to flow and feel right.

11. Which member is more physically affectionate?

By quantity? Prompto is always touching someone. It's 80% over-eager ADHD and 20% genuine expression of affection. Most days he's not even thinking about how many times he's slapped Noct's butt or grabbed Ignis' cuff to get the tactician's attention, but that doesn't mean it doesn't count as affection.

By quality, however, is Ignis. Four out of the five of them had been raised in the 'no-touch' environment that is the Citadel, so idle contact is something most of them don't even consider, let alone do absently the way Prompto does. Ignis noticed this, as Ignis notices everything, and made it a personal challenge to initiate small forms of physical affection whenever appropriate. A gentle hand at Noct's elbow when offering advice, a lingering grasp when helping Gladio up from where he had just thrown him to the floor during a spar, a careful finger pushing back an errant hair that had fallen into Rosea's face; Ignis has a talent for making each and every motion feel 10x more intimate than it has any right to be. His self-satisfied smirk whenever the object of his attentions starts to blush definitely doesn't help the matter.

13. Which member steals borrows the other ones clothing?

Unfortunately, due to the circumstances of wildly varying sizes, some people just can't borrow clothes while others have a wealth of theft opportunities.

Gladio is the unfortunate target of most of it, though none of his clothes really wander that far. It's not like any of the thieves can steal one of his shirts and be able to wear it outside without risking flashing a poor pedestrian due to the over-large neckline. Ignis is the only one who can wear his shirts without it looking like a dress, and Ignis is not the sort of man who would be caught dead wandering around in a Cup Noodles Limited Edition Anniversary T-shirt. Rosea, however, is all about that shit. She just has to use a hair-tie to tighten it up a bit.

Ignis' clothes are likewise highly unlikely to be stolen, less due to size restrictions and more stylistic concerns. Sure, Noct, Prompto, and Rosea have stolen a button-up to wander around his apartment, but other than a spare few Crownsguard kit, the only comfy clothes Ignis' owns are for sleeping. And the consequences for stealing Ignis' sleeping clothes are dire.

Noctis and Prompto swap clothes pretty much all the time, except for when it comes to Prom's muscle-tees. Noctis is not about showing that much arm. Noct is slightly larger in the waist, and tends to wear cargo shorts, so Prompto doesn't usually steal his pants overmuch, except that one pair of jeans that makes both their asses look fantastic. He steals those as much as he can. It's been basically impossible to tell who owns which band-tee or videogame-tee since high school, so those are considered 'communal'.

Rosea occupies the exact opposite of the spectrum as Gladio, in which the world is her oyster and none of the guys can fit into her clothes. Well, Prompto and Noctis can fit her shirts, but they're tight in a way that's awkward rather than sexy, so they don't. Her over-sized sweatshirts are sometimes up for grabs, but Prompto is the only one who is willing to sport a bright-pink sweatshirt that says 'DEATH BY PASTA'. That said, she's not a fan of the muscle-tees either, so she's fighting with Noct for clothing real-estate most days. They usually settle disputes by way of Noct lending her his 'good sweatshirt', which is a black hoodie that matches the sixteen other ones he owns, but is inexplicably softer and warmer despite them all being by the same manufacturer.

Rosea is also the main Ignis-shirt-thief. She has a deathwish.

26. How do they comfort each other?

Gladio isn't the best with his words, especially when it comes to times of extreme stress, but he is confident in his ability to do things for others. You need laundry done? He can put things in a washer. Too tired to buy food? Grocery store is a short walk away. Just need to pretend the world doesn't exist for a bit? He can be distracting, any way you need. Just tell him. Please just tell him what to do to help.

Ignis, similarly, is one to do things for others, but he is going to look for the things left unsaid. He'll schedule doctors appointments, make funeral arrangements, contact school/work. He'll pick up the heaviest emotional load he can find and try to carry it. If it is for his partners, he will move mountains.

Noctis doesn't know how to do the manual things, but he knows how to be there. Just, physically, he will be there. With a video game, a movie marathon, or just a quiet place to nap. Noctis shows he cares by showing up. It's all he ever wants from anyone else, after all.

Prompto, surprisingly, is the one who will talk about it. He spent most of his childhood dealing with the hard stuff on his own. He knows how hard it is not to have anyone to talk to. He also knows how hard it is to start. He'll lead the conversation away from the rough stuff if it feels like it's too much, but he'll try to keep the conversation flowing. And if he can make the other person laugh, then he will count that as a win. Laughter cures all wounds, right?

Rosea is sort of a mix. She grew up around Noct, Ignis, and Gladio, so she knows when to just take over everything and when to not touch things. Her best trait is her ability to feel out what the other person needs, and do that. If she's honest, though, the only thing she wants when she's in need of comfort is a hug. Physical affection, though something she struggles with initiating, would be her go-to.

28. Do they get along with each other’s friends and family?

LONG AND LOADED QUESTION.

For obvious reasons, their relationship is somewhat of a secret. Ignis and Gladio are a known quantity, having declared their relationship long before the polycule had formed and out of necessity for the sake of their jobs. Noctis and Prompto occupy that weird liminal space of; they are are totally dating but Noct is the Crown Prince so absolutely no one is going to say it. Rosea is sort of the odd-man out when it comes to people being 'aware' of the relationships, to the point where she's almost a reverse-beard; her being around them is but not 'dating' any of them pretty firmly cements their whole deal as platonic, even though it very much is not.

Gladio:

Gladio and Ignis' Uncle have an odd relationship. This is because Ignis' Uncle is awkward on purpose, for his own amusement. Gladio is doing his best, and one day will realize Avernettus is fucking with him. Until that day, however? Until that day, being in a room with these two is either extremely uncomfortable or extremely funny, depending on who you are.

Gladio and Noct's Dad have a very good relationship, given that Gladio has known Regis most of his life. It's awkward when Regis stalwartly (ignorantly) insists that Gladio call him Uncle Reggie, a thing Gladio has never done and will never do, but otherwise it is pleasant.

Gladio and Cor have a friendly student-mentor relationship. Gladio is terrified that Cor will murder him if he ever finds out Gladio is dating his daughter. Nyx is a wild-card, operating more as a co-worker than a mentor to Gladio. Nyx is also the only one outside of the relationship that knows Rosea is involved with him (specifically Gladio and Ignis), which means Gladio is maybe minding himself more around him than he might otherwise. Nyx thinks this is hysterical.

Gladio has not met Prompto's parents.

Ignis:

Ignis gets on well enough with Clarus, though it is a rather formal relationship. They don't acknowledge the logistical problems with Ignis' dating Gladio (the need of an Amicitia heir), and being co-workers of a sort makes the situation necessitate formality at most points, but Clarus is admittedly fond of Ignis, even if he struggles to show it.

Ignis also has a very good relationship with Regis, though with the same issues as Gladio has. He also refuses to call him Uncle Reggie, much to Regis' unending disappointment.

Ignis and Cor are friendly, though the relationship has always been rather distant. Mostly, Cor feels weird knowing this kid has been his 'co-worker' since he was six and 'employee' since he was sixteen, but they work it out. It helps that Cor is completely oblivious when it comes to his daughter's relationships. Nyx and Ignis have a much more convivial relationship, though Nyx has given Ignis the shovel-talk and maybe hits him a bit harder in spars than he used to.

Ignis has only ever met Prompto's parents in passing. They are pleasant, if absent.

Noctis:

Noctis obviously knows Clarus, and notably did call him Uncle Clarus when he was much younger. He pretends he doesn't remember this. He still finds Clarus to be somewhat annoying, but they are close.

Noctis and Avernettus are a weird combination, as Ignis' Uncle is considerably more formal with the prince than he might like. This is evened out as Noctis gets older and realizes half of what Avernettus says is a thinly-veiled dick joke.

Noctis is friendly with both Cor and Nyx, but more-so Cor. Nyx is still working his way into Noctis' trust, as the Drautos Situation has left a sour taste in his mouth that he just can't shake. It also doesn't help that Nyx is a bit of an ass. It's growing on him, though.

Noctis has never met Prompto's parents.

Prompto:

Clarus scares the shit out of him. There is nothing the Lord Shield can do to lessen this fear, not that he has done anything to really try and mend it. Clarus feels that a healthy amount of fear is good for the boy. Given his anxiety, however, everyone else agrees this isn't strictly true.

Regis also scares the shit out of Prompto, but less because he is scary and more because he is the King and that's a perfectly valid reason to be concerned thank you very much. Regis thinks Prompto is a good boy, and is glad that Noctis has such a good friend. No one is sure if Regis realizes Noct and Prompto are more than friends. No one is willing to ask.

Cor and Nyx also scare the shit out of Prompto. Are you sensing a theme? To be very fair to Prompto, he does have the worst end of this relationship when it comes to parents. Nyx is doing his best to break Prompto out of his shell, however.

Prompto has never met Avernettus, and Ignis intends to keep it that way.

Rosea:

Clarus and her don't get on. She's 80% sure he hates her guts, and she does everything in her power to stay under his radar. Clarus doesn't actually realize she misunderstands him to such a degree, but he does think she's reckless and a bit childish. In his mind, she's just Cor #2. Which, while not an entirely incorrect approach, does nothing to account for the fact that she has zero positive memories of him to outweigh the 'tough love'. It's going to be weird when this particular bubble bursts.

Regis adores her. He can't help it, he's a father at heart, and he still remembers when she was a little toddler strapped to Cor's chest. Rosea is acutely aware that His Majesty sees her as a baby, and probably always will, and does her best to navigate this despite it being extremely fucking annoying. She has never called him Uncle Reggie, and he's long since given up trying. He's just happy if she calls him Regis, instead of Your Majesty.

Rosea and Avernettus have a silent respect for each other. They can have an entire conversation of dick-jokes without ever seeming like they have said anything crass. Ignis does everything in his power to keep them separate, since he finds the whole thing deeply embarrassing.

Rosea has only met Prompto's parents in passing. They are fond of her, specifically because she helped get Prompto's literature grades up. She doesn't like them, but she's civil.

The fun part about Jon and April interacting in their [puffed up cat pose] phase is that April will be 100% honest about shit when they do speak about things and Jon 100% assumes they’re fucking with him.

Like the Trevor statement, he’s gonna double check Martin’s comment that Trevor passed away with the old guard but like. Michael doesn’t take statements unless no one else is available. Eric couldn’t be assed to remember anything that didn’t fuck him up, so that’s out. So there’s just April-- who, aside of Gertrude, got to be the one to sit in a room with someone who was trying to write down the hardest moments of their lives. With Trevor they did their level fucking best not to actually speak to the man. Because his Hunt vibes wigged them out. Like they got the statement, but they also spent their whole childhood learning to project “I AM NOT PREY” energy so they try not to think about it. So they absently respond to Jon asking if ‘Mr. Herbert passed away before finishing his statement’ with a “yeah maybe? I don’t know.”

Which Jon takes to mean they were lying alongside Martin [a noted pal] to fuck with him.

Which is not helped by them, with a smile, going “Taking your shit mood out on Martin makes you an asshole, Jon! A bully, even! Don’t like that!” with a pointed stare directly into his face. 

Like don’t get me wrong, they aren’t threatening him, but they’re also totally fine with the idea of looming at this dude that’s stubbornly determined to be a dick about things. Well, looking him in the eye and making that very uncomfortable.

This is partially because their eye mark is stronger at the offset, but not as deep as the Archivist mark, so being stared at with any real focus by them makes things... tingly. It’s not compulsion, but it does put the FEAR of spilling your guts into you and thus makes it more likely. Add in they’re naturally prone to staring for long periods just... normally, and you get problems. The second is they very much treat prolonged eye contact like their father does--AKA you are entering into a power struggle. So its very “you want to be a big man and belittle others, we can see if you can measure up to me” in intention.

But also Jon wigs them out largely because he’s.... well he’s resisted their attempts at friending. He acts just enough like them to make them fidget. He took the bookish ‘be a dick and maybe they will leave me alone’ rout to his ADHD not letting him make friends easily, and their response--aside of their childhood being fucking horrible--was to be aggressively social to make sure the most people possible would be pissed if someone tried to hurt them. His trauma and interaction with the supernatural was very isolating and left him with a lot of unearned guilt. Theirs was likewise isolating, and they assume no one they befriend actually cares, but they try anyway for the purposes of being able to have a safety net. Inward vs Outward focus responses.

Add in that April knows damn well that Elias hand picked him. Add in that Elias has been salivating over every single mark they’ve ever gotten and had them analyze mountains of info to KNOW just how they’re marked. Add in that they can almost taste the cobwebs on him. Add in that he seems willfully antagonistic of the existence of actual phenomena they have record of. Add in that they get told, very bluntly, not to tell him certain things outright unless not knowing would immediately kill him-- because Elias has them on a short leash whether it seems it or not. THEN add in that he seems bound and fucking determined to be an asshole to Martin of all people, AND the inherited staff?

Meanwhile Jon is just... well the anxieties of canon plus the “oh god i inherited three people with decades more experience than i have in any of this” and he’s deep in puffed cat. Add in that April has a very blase manner about them when they’re not being 1000000000% more intense than is needed and he’s just. Hiss hiss spit hiss.

That said by the time he comes through his coma they’ll be okay, but the interactions are going to be Something for a bit.

nathali "n" blackburn is a human journalist/amateur detective that freelances in both vampire and human affairs. recently a extremely anti-vampire political leader was assassinated and the blame is being pinned on a vampire activist gang but the clues don't really add up so n's doing what he does best and is sticking his nose where it "doesn't" belong. in order to help him with uncovering the truth, he enlists the help of a lower-ranking member in the gang beau "bibi" bellerose, a relatively young vampire who he sort of twists the arm into helping him out.

n is more of the go-getter type, he can rarely sit still, he's always on the move and his brain is consistently going a million miles a minute (adhd having ass-). he can get easily riled up or irritated if you know how to push his buttons (bibi does,,) but he has a strong sense of justice and cares about the truth more than anything. he also doesn't have the best self-preservation skills and usually never carries any real weapons on him which, considering the depth of bullshit he's about to get himself into, probably isn't the best idea LMAO.

bibi is the sly charming type. if this was a more traditional noir (though this story is definitely a noir in SOME senses) he would play the role of a femme fatale. he is both shockingly vague and alarmingly straightforward in the same breath, and it's very difficult to read him because he's a master of body language. he's not shy about what he wants, nor about getting it either, and the real reason he's a low ranking gang member certainly has nothing to do with how dangerous or not dangerous he is (he is Very Dangerous). while he doesn't flare as easily as n around others, n has a habit of being able to genuinely push his buttons... which perplexes him. the real kicker is unlike himself who riles up n intentionally, n does so very unintentionally lmao. he can be somewhat morally ambiguous but for the most part he tends to lean good.
