I'm really sorry if this is off topic, you post a lot about trans stuff and I don't know where else to ask for advice. Ignore this ask if it doesn't fit the blog and have a nice day.

Has anyone here dealt with partners who have switched views from radfem to TERF? For context, I'm a pre-everything trans male and I don't pass at all. I've been dating my girlfriend for a few years now, she's always been supportive, until this year.

Two years ago she adopted radfem views and this summer she began to deadname and misgender me for the first time and hasn't stopped after polite corrections. She keeps saying I'm just confused and other things, you know what I'm talking about if you've ever interacted with a TERF. It happens every day now.

Is this normal and just a bit rude, or something serious? It's exhausting and I don't feel safe with her anymore, but everyone says I'm just overreacting and I don't know how to handle it carefully, since I don't really have any support now.

Is it really selfish to want to be at least called by another (gender neutral in my country) name if you look like a girl?

I need you to genuinely listen to me for a second, Anon. I do not say this lightly. The behavior you're experiencing with your girlfriend is abusive. It's not "just a bit rude", it's not safe and its not appropriate.

Everyone who is telling you that you're overreacting are frankly not trustworthy either if they're telling you that your girlfriend refusing to use your name, misgendering you and trying casual attempts at what sounds a lot like conversion therapy bullshit is not an immediate "get away from that person now".

It makes sense you feel unsafe. She's being consistently abusive towards you and you have no support behind you, that's awful. Whether you "look like" a girl or not, you're not a girl and you've said so.

It is not selfish to ask people to respect your gender and pronouns.

I'm not sure how to handle this carefully either, if i'm honest, because I don't know your situation and I don't know what you have access to.

But my primary advice is to find a way out of this relationship and away from your girlfriend, since it sounds like she is the biggest issue here. I'd frankly also advise finding more spaces with openly trans people, even if that's just online, so that you can find more people like you, in situations like you.

I think it'd really help, especially since people in your life don't sound very supportive. I also think looking up information specifically on trans people, dealing with transphobic abuse would be helpful. This is an article, for example, that might be helpful for you to read.

I don't know how helpful this all is but I'm so sorry you're dealing with all that, Anon. I've dealt with [and still deal with] some of what you're talking about and I know that's such a burden. Sending love. ❤

I think that in this scene, Till is just feeling pure euphoria and adrenaline. Finally, being able to almost taste freedom. Experiencing a rush of seeing something so new and cool and open.

That is until the reality of the situation comes crashing down on him, and in turn, he lets go of ivans hand, the previous joy completely gone. He knows it's too late to go back to how it was moments before .. knows that whatever choice he makes has already had its impact.

Hastedly, he has to make the choice between two very life altering decisions .. although I think subconsciously he knew what he would do, but I digress .....

Go back to the place that has the person who he holds most dear to him, the person who gives him a reason to live. The place that he has also unfortunately been accustomed to? Or wrecklessly escape with Ivan and live a life that potentially has so much more to offer, something that sounds like a mere fantasy.

Regardless, Till makes his choice. To go back. To stick with what he knows. The more "grounding" option. He couldn't leave Mizi, his hope, behind like that.

In one last fleeting moment, he desperately looks to Ivan, guilt written on his face. Maybe a last goodbye, an expression to convey to Ivan that he cares and that he's sorry for leaving. A dire attempt for Ivan to understand.

All of which goes unnoticed before Till has to turn back before it's too late and someone notices them missing.

So he goes. Horrifyingly enough, he sees Ivan there the next day. I imagine that his guilt only continues to grow each time Ivan interacts with him like nothing happened.

Theories!

Ok so my theories are based on the trailer were it calls the TS world a "decaying world". The game talks about human society dying, But hear me out! what if its referring to the world actually dying.

What if whatever Kuras did to mess up our world, never ended, and is slowly making the planet die (omg kinda like our world!).

Also maybe the Senobium closed their doors to research a solution for the world and/or keep it a secret if the world ending is not common knowledge. Which still makes them jerks.

I can't remember who made a post about this but i do think a big disaster will happen in Eridia. (Its literally called "The Last Bastion Of Humanity" the city's doomed).

Last thought but I have a suspicion Kuras had some play in the "reality split" from the beginning of the demo.

Strega based content is unfortunately rather hard to come across. Besides in-game content, here’s what I can think of off the top of my head:

- Strega Days by Narihara Tonmi. You can find scans & translations online!

- Tartarus Theater Wild - Again, scans & translations are available online.

- You can find them featured in the Weird Masquerade stage play, but I can’t find a translation for it (if anyone has one lmk)

- Someone posted on here with scans for Shadow Cry (untranslated) a bit ago which is fully dedicated to Strega, but my dumbass lost it and can’t find it so umm I’m actually kind of hoping someone will respond to this post and give it to me 💔 LMFAOO

- They are also featured in the P3 movie!

This is all I can think of off the top of my head but I feel like I’m seriously forgetting a LOT of stuff…forgive me, I’m so incredibly forgetful that I’m sort of bad at stuff like this LMFAO.

But besides official content, there’s of course fan-content as well! I’m always searching tumblr for fanart, and if you’re interested in fanfiction, there’s some fics written abt Strega on ao3. Some of which have changed my brain chemistry for real…fellow strega fans, you guys are so awesome. I love seeing everyone’s different perspectives on the characters!!

Jesse is so loyal to Walt like a dog is to its owner. And there are several scenes in which Jesse does something and looks to Walt for approval like an adorable puppy it's actually insane

There's also the episode Rabid Dog and most importantly (to me lol) Bryan saying "For Walt if something happens to Jesse it'd be like stabbing a puppy with a pitchfork, this innocent little puppy is misguided and needs help and Walt feels guilty that he drew him into a deeper level in the drug dealing business"

@star-wars-nexus​ haha I am both a good and bad person to ask this. Bad bc Consular is my favorite storyline so I am incredibly biased, good bc Consular is my favorite storyline when a lot of people write it off.😂

I really love the Consular story. It’s slower paced than some of the others, and doesn’t have the thriller feel of the Agent or the same in-your-face badassery of the Sith classes, but I feel like it’s one of the better stories at transitioning between acts, so it’s also smoother, if that makes sense? (Especially act 2 into act 3) And I honestly enjoy that it’s quieter and more subtle at telling its story. Also,it’s mentioned several times that you’re one of the more powerful Force users in the galaxy, so while it may be less in your face, you’re still a Badass.

The Consular deals a lot with themes of agency, responsibility, sacrifice, and forgiveness. If you’ve played a Knight and done the stuff with Kira being a Child of the Emperor? Yeah, the Children are a BIG part of the Consular story later in the game. So there’s some more you learn about them, which I think it neat. (Fingers crossed for more in the next patch)

It’s less a thing now that you can switch up class/origin, but Kinetic Combat Shadow makes me feel like the biggest badass in the galaxy and is handsdown no contest my favorite thing to play(almost all my Force users added it as second spec if they didn’t already have it, my SW hasn’t switched back to Mara since xD)

I’m trying to think of ways to talk it up without spoiling too much in case you haven’t played it yet and want the surprise. let’s see.... the companions are great, I think it might be the only class where I like all of them a lot. My one gripe would be how late you get the romances. You don’t pick up Felix until you finish Hoth, and Nadia(my beloved <3) doesn’t join as a companion until after Belsavis, but she’s been traveling with you and engages in ship cutscenes for act 2 and 3 even before she’s a companion. So you get to know her and build a relationship even before you can take her on missions with you.

The ending... OOOOOOOOH the ENDING. You can drastically alter your ending depending on your dialogue options with a certain NPC. We’re talking life or death, redemption or destruction level alter, and I love it so much.

okay so I'm not experienced (like at all) and I don't have an older sister or a close friend, so I'll take this opportunity to ask a couple of questions if you guys don't mind (thanks in advance) ps guys don't worry I'm not a child, I'm in my early twenties

1. Does getting hickeys hurt? (I suppose it's still some sort of bruising so it must hurt)

To be honest, even thinking about being intimate with someone else used to disgust me. And I've been like this even before falling for bangtan, ever since I can remember myself. The only people I can imagine kissing and not feeling uncomfortable are our boys (I'm not delulu, I'm not even thinking of this as something that might actually happen, I'm just sharing my feelings with the only people I'm comfortable with) ... so yeah, just wanted to see if there's someone out there feeling the same way

you're right, it's some sort of bruising, so i personally find it uncomfortable at times. i know a lot of people enjoy them and love how they turn out, but to me, they're... okay? like, it's not unbearable pain or anything but i find them unpleasant :')

sex doesn't hurt with sufficient foreplay and preparation. and i don't just mean a bit of fingering and clit stimulation, i mean actual foreplay like oral/sex toys/minutes and minutes of pleasure before having penetrative sex (unless you're already wet n soaking n ready!!). it might also hurt if you're not mentally ready for it yet – like tmi, but i remember that it just didn't work for me when i first tried bc i was too nervous lol. but as long as the partner's considerate and you trust them, it should not hurt !!

this is so valid, babe !!! you're absolutely not the only one who feels that way. a lot of people are sensitive to touch or just don't have a very present sex drive. that's okay !! you'll love and enjoy your time with your future partner the way you're comfortable with. sex isn't everything when it comes to being with someone. we definitely have a type of mental relationship with the boys, so we feel that we'd trust them enough with that. but if it's different for you irl, then that's valid, and you don't have to worry about it at all – as time passes, you'll learn what you like and dislike <3

For starters, thank you so much! I love my little ship, and my little Zach, and my little Violet so much, and I am so happy others enjoy their silly, sweet, and sappy little antics too!

Sooooo to address this question, I want to preface all of this by saying your questions are completely valid, and I relate so much! I am by no means an expert in the field of selfshipping. To be 100% honest, I didn't really understand what selfship, fictional other, self insert, or any of the associated terms meant until late last year. So, I am still fairly new to the selfshipping community myself!

As for "rules" within the selfship community, I think this will depend on the individual. There are many different stances within the community about what is right and what is wrong. The key is to understand what your boundaries are and to understand the boundaries of others.

Most selfshippers have BYF (before you follow) or DNI (do not interact) listed in their pinned posts or banners, a good rule of thumb would be to read such materials and determine for yourself whether or not you fall into the category a selfshipper may not be comfortable with.

For example, some individuals are not comfortable with villain selfshippers following or interacting with them. Okay, welp, here I sits with my bad boy, Zachy, what shall I do? Well, while that places me into a category where I cannot interact with that person, that is okay! That is their boundary so I respect it (BTW: if I have accidentally interacted with someone who does not approve of villain selfships, I apologize, I'm still learning!).

As for a fictionalized version of a real person, I am also here too, in a way...I kind of have something of a poly selfship in the works with two characters from the movie Apollo 13, but I see this as fictionalized versions of the real people. The real people are either deceased or very old, and while I respect them and their historical accomplishments, I am not interested in them in any romantic or platonic way. Rather, I am enamored by their fictive versions portrayed by actors within the bounds of a cinematic universe.

So, I also think this is more of an individual preference. Some people may not be comfortable with this type of ship, but some others may love and support it just as much as you do! When presenting such a selfship, you will have to make your stance clear and understand/respect the stance of others who may oppose such a ship.
