Okay, time to move on to one of my faves for this reading. Let's see what they will share about what they like and don't like in a partner.

Heeseung

Green (6 of Cups) Someone he can build a long connection with, maybe be long time friends with. Someone youthful and pure. They may need to have this young vibrant energy. A playful and imaginative person. Also, someone pure, sweet and kind, and also pretty simplistic.

Yellow (Page of Swords) He may not like someone shy and timid, or someone who has a fear to speak up on things. He would want someone communicative and open about their thoughts. He also may not like shallow individuals. He wouldn't want someone who hides information as well and not open and honest with him.

Red (7 of Pentacles) Someone who stays stagnant. Someone who doesn't work hard or doesn't finish what they started. Someone who plays it safe. Or doesn't try hard to push for their goals. He may also not like a lazy person as well.

His overall seems pretty normal and what most people would like or dislike.

Green (9 of Cups) Someone who is appreciative and satisfied with what they have. Someone who finds a way to be happy and has the ability to get what they want. He would prefer a happy person that doesn't complain too much about things in life.

Yellow (Justice) Hmm, not sure what to make of this one. Maybe someone who has a tough time decided things. They seem to always see both sides of things, maybe someone who is a bit too objective and robotic is a bit of a dislike to him as well. Someone who may focus on too much of the facts or is black and white about things. He may want someone a bit more emotional and less cold. He may not like someone who is neutral about things and can't pick a side or make a decision, that is what I feel it may be a dislike for him.

Red (6 of Wands) I would say someone egotistical, a bit too boastful and prideful he may not like. Someone with a strong competitive spirit, I guess. I am getting more of someone who boast a lot about their achievements. That may bother him. He would prefer a humbler person. Green (The Devil) This dude is a bit warped here, why would he have this for a green flag? Bro really? He would like someone attached to him and maybe someone he can control ugh dude why did he have to show this. Yellow (Ace of Cups) Once again, not sure why he would pick this as a yellow flag. Someone who may trauma dump on him or pour all their emotions to him way too quickly may be a problem for him, not a deal breaker, since it is a yellow flag, but a bit of a turn off for him. Also, someone who gets too emotional and falls in love too quickly. He may pull away if he sees that too early on.

Red (The Sun) Once again, why this for a red flag not sure, someone with a big ego, someone who shines bright. Hmm, not liking this look, umm, he wouldn't want to date someone with a huge presence. Yeah, I don't like that, this energy kind of shows red flag behavior for him. This need to control his partner and honestly want to dim their light in a sense, keep them humble and small. Well, I hope I am off the mark there, but that is what I get.

I will be real it has been a while since I have seen that toxic energy from him regarding relationships, but it is making its way back in lol I mean that Devil being the green flag is something else, yes, you can say, he may want a partner with self-control and a handworker, but man, there are better cards to show that then this one. Green (Queen of Swords) This man is so predictable, love it. He gives me this card a lot. He wants someone smart, a bit cold, very wise, mature. They know what they want and share what they want. A confident person. Someone who isn't afraid to share their opinion and won't back down, but also very diplomatic and non-combative. A very cool, calm, collected person.

Yellow (Queen of Cups) I laughed when I got this, basically he doesn't want someone overly emotional and sensitive and someone who may ask about his feelings a lot or want him to share it, that is a no for him. It isn't a deal breaker, but he does not like people who nag him about his feelings.

Red (2 of Swords) Someone stubborn, combative, create arguments, unwilling to listen and someone who has different ideas and opinions from him, if he can't agree with them and they are not willing to compromise he is done.

Sunoo

Green (The Tower) Interesting card here lol Someone unconventional. Someone who is willing to change things and shake things up. I wouldn't expect this to be a green flag for him. He seems to like things to be stable and safe, so okay. Someone who isn't stringent and just lets things fall if need be.

Yellow (Knight of Swords) Maybe someone defensive. Someone who always has a point to prove or something to say. He may not like argumentative people. Hmm, this is a bit of projection on his part to, because he can be like this too, so unless he has changed, which I doubt it. Kind of projecting here, but maybe he doesn't like people who fuel that energy in him. He may also not like someone who is overconfident in their thoughts and beliefs and is unwilling to back down on it. Also, someone quick to speak, but not listen.

Red (The Hanged Man/2 of Wands) He may not like someone who doesn't see his point of view and understand his side of things. He may also not like people who don't reflect on their actions as much. He may also not like someone who doesn't have a vision of the future, if they can't see a future with him or align with what he wants, he is done. Which makes perfect sense to me lol

Why is he giving me he dated, or is dating someone, and they didn't want to change things and that is where the disconnect happened with him and someone. I sense that from this spread.

Jungwon

Green (3 of Cups) He would want a sociable and friendly person. Someone who gets along with everyone. Probably more so an extrovert type of person who likes to have fun and spread joy to others, the life of the party person. Also, someone he can be friends with as well and have fun with.

Yellow (6 of Swords) Someone mentally unstable and finds it hard to move forward and make positive changes in their lives. He doesn't want to carry the weight of this person. He would want them to be able to move on their own and work on things. He kind of comes off insensitive there, but just my opinion.

Red (The Lovers) Interesting card for a red flag. Umm, he doesn't want a partner attached to him, or to be infatuated with him. I am also getting he may not want to be attached to a partner, so if he likes someone a lot or feels a strong attachment to them, he may pull away and that is a red flag for him. Also, maybe someone similar to him is something he may not want. If that person mirrors traits he has he may not want that person. I guess those mirrors would probably trigger him, which is interesting. He might need to do some self-work and reflection there as to why he would be triggered.

Ni-ki

Green (The World) Someone very cultured and has lots of experience. He would want someone who has accomplished a lot that would be his green flag. If he has seen, they traveled the world and did a lot of things he would like that. He likes someone who gets things done. Also, someone very understanding of the world and knowledgeable about a lot of things. Like he would be an aww of their vast knowledge about life and things in general.

Yellow (Page of Pentacles) He may not like someone who is too cautious and to slow to do things. This also shows someone inexperienced in a sense. Dude would need to date someone older I guess, because being experienced and getting a lot sh** done is important to him. He may also not like someone who is unsure of themselves either.

Red (King of Pentacles) He wouldn't want someone heavily focused on making money, someone stubborn and too set in their ways. He wouldn't want someone to materialistic and grounded. And that they take things/life way too seriously. Someone too practical and safe and that they don't have much fun or ability to be spontaneous.

So, there that is, nothing too wild there for them, most seem reasonable. Some are questionable and a bit toxic, but nothing too surprising and crazy to me from what I have gotten from them in the past.

i adore how mxtx sorta flipped the idea on the whole top/bottom thing with svsss, and just BL relationships in general.

making bingqiu very open to switching, not making the "bottom" super feminine and actually leaning more to the handsome side compared to the "top", how luo binghe is manipulative sensitive and cries easily, etc. one of the main themes in svsss is literally about sexuality (and possibly even about gender roles).

as a queer asian man myself, i absolutely despise the "yaoi archetype" and it was one of the reasons why i avoided consuming BL media. hell, years ago when i first saw heavens official blessing, i mentally groaned and went, "ugh, let me guess, the bottom is super feminine and innocent, while the top is masculine and experienced." of course, that's not the case now, but it's disappointing how that thought was there purely because of the god awful way fetish-y media portrays homosexual people and couples. because, believe it or not, we are not assigned male/female typical gender roles just because one likes to top/bottom (and even then, it's not even like that! some people have preferences, sure, but it's not so strictly "i'm top/bottom")

so, while i absolutely LOVE the english novel designs (especially luo binghe's cute curly hair, gongyi xiao, etc, and personally believe a lot of the takes from the western artist on the designs are an improvement), i am greatly saddened by people subconsciously assigning shen qingqiu as someone more delicate and feminine and luo binghe as someone super masculine and muscly. like, if you're going to have luo binghe depicted as the western design (i believe this stems from binghe being applied to more western ideals for men, and, admittedly, i actually really love his design), at least don't make shen qingqiu feminine and delicate? don't have his appearance play into the stupid yaoi thing?

i get that people have different takes on svsss, especially how the western version depicts it. but, people just... seem to very over exaggerate the top/bottom roles when it comes to bingqiu (again, these two are, canonically, VERY open to switching).

it's weird, it's uncomfortable, and it comes across as, "so, who wears the pants in the relationship?"

so, can we please have more canonically handsome shen qingqiu? canonically beautiful and pretty boy luo binghe (they literallly state that binghe looks EXACTLY like his mom, su xiyan! while a more handsome woman, is still very beautiful!! plus it is stated several times that binghe is slim, and that shang qinghua made him that way!) or at the very least, a BL couple who actually look like normal people (ok thats a little hard considering binghe is literally supposed to be perfect) and not just a stupid fetishized version of themselves.

and no, i'm not saying that queer men shouldn't be feminine or men who are feminine shouldn't be in a relationship with guys who are masculine, etc.

TLDR: please stop twinkifying shen qingqiu and going against what mxtx defied for us queer men (the stupid yaoi roles). and for the love of whoever you believe in, do NOT think that i hate the english design or people's personal interpretation of characters, i just hate the subconscious assigning of gender roles to bingqiu and how media portrays and fetishizes LGBTQ+ relationships in general.

Headcanons for the Shane Stardew Valley that lives in my Switch because I wanted to put them down somewhere lol 💙🐔

•He's 35 years old. When Farmer tells him that's not old he replies "Old for a gridball player" and shrugs. (basing this on mid-30's apparently being old for a lot of sports lol)

•Definitely not as "weak" as he thinks he is either. The man helps Marnie around the farm, including hucking around heavy bags of animal feed and hay. And probably hauling heavy boxes around JojaMart. So great upper body strength, just gets tired and out of breath more easily than he used to.

•Strong arms and soft tummy 👍

•5'7" but wishes he was at least 6'1". A little insecure about it, especially since Farmer is taller than him.(she's 5'10")

•Favorite color is blue 💙

•His last name is Cooper. (Purely because I find it funny for him to have "coop" in his name. Like chicken coop lmao)

•Ears are pierced. I imagine 10mm gauges and two other piercings. Doesn't wear them super often, but enough so the holes don't close up.

•I think he'd be a Taurus. Stubborn but also down to earth.

•Started showing signs of depression as a teenager, but got dismissed as being "moody" and "lazy".

•Both parents had issues with alcohol and were distant/absent. His dad physically distant, as he was gone a lot and often came home drunk. His mom emotionally distant due to untreated depression.

•When that doesn't work he goes on walks. Nighttime is a preferable time to walk anyway because less chance to run into someone and have to make annoying small talk.

•Has dark circles under his eyes pretty much all the time due to lack of good sleep.

•Runs hot, basically a walking space heater. Which is great in the winter but MISERABLE in the summer.

•Was the best man at Jas's parents' wedding.

•And one of the first people to hold Jas after she was born. He was afraid he'd drop her or something and in awe of how tiny she was.

•Loves that little girl SO much, but when her parents died...he was in no position to be taking care of her. Not with his worsening depression and even worse alcohol dependency. So he signed over custody of her to Marnie, who was more of a mother figure to him than his own mom ever was(In my head, Marnie is Shane's mom's older sister).

•Used to spend summers on Marnie's farm as a kid. It was a nice break from his home life and gave him things to do.

•Was living with Marnie and Jas for about 6 months when Farmer moved to Pelican Town.

•It was his idea to pay rent, because he'd rather eat his shoe than feel like more of a burden than he already does.

•Listens to predominantly rock, but secretly knows the words to a lot of pop songs thanks to Jas.

•Lets Jas paint his nails or put makeup on him. Will wear the nail polish until it flakes off, no matter the color or glitter content.

•Has an armband tattoo of fairy roses around his bicep. For Jas, obviously.

•Definitely friends with Emily (they swap bird facts and just vibe) and and considers Sam a work friend(absolutely talk shit about Morris when not talking about music). He just seems to attract bright, friendly people lol

•Not a people pleaser by any stretch of the imagination (there's a reason he stocks shelves instead of being behind the counter at JojaMart), but loves making the people he cares about happy.

•Him being standoffish and prickly is definitely a defense mechanism. Can't get hurt again by losing someone if you never get close to them in the first place, right?

•Can tell when it's gonna rain because his bad knee starts hurting. When Emily teasingly calls him clairvoyant, he goes into a spiel about the scientific evidence that the drop in barometric pressure affects joints and it's not magic. It's basically an inside joke between them.

•Swears like a sailor but tries to censor himself around the children. So "sugar" and "fudge" and "son of a biscuit". Lot of food words lol

•Walks quietly. Accidentally scares people all the time because he just "appears out of nowhere".

Finally someone who dislikes Hellhammer lol I feel like CRAZY when talking with other people about Mayhem and they all love him so so so much! It's just insane. He has a massive ego and is a shitty person with shitty opinions but somehow he gets a pass. Also sometime ago I read an interview where he was asked if he misses Pelle/Øystein and if in his opinion there would be a place for them in Mayhem as of now and he said that he does not miss them at all (besides, he laughed at Øystein's mother at the phone when he learned about his death he just pisses me off so bad ong) but he was also like. No there is no place for them at all because we changed a lot and it was good for Mayhem that they are gone. THE SHEER AUDACITY IS INSANE! Did he forget so casually WHO FOUNDED MAYHEM and gave him a place in there? Who was influential in the early BM scene? Please. Mayhem is not even all this great stuff atp, when Øystein had hold of the group, it was all... unique in its own way, very atmospheric, he got the gist. Don't even get me started on that hag of Necrobutcher. The only person that speaks kindly of Øystein is Attila. Also, Mayhem should have ended with Øystein's death in my opinion. Pure madness

I was never fond of Jan, to be honest.

I can definitely recognize his talent as a drummer. He is, in fact, one of the best of not the best drummer in Black Metal history. But this is the only good thing about him because his personality is very insufferable.

It's not just the overly inflated ego that he displays, but he comes across as a 'bully' somehow. I won't judge him by his interests in drugs and drinking because he wanted to have fun, live the rock and roll life, whatever, but I can't overlook how Øystein complained about him messing up gigs because he was too intoxicated to play, or how he neglected their rehearsals. He seems very careless, very insensitive, and overall very untrustworthy.

What pissed me the most was the way that (I suspect) he treated Pelle while he was alive. Pelle wasn't shy to call Jan a 'fat, stupid drummer' in one of his letters, expressing how he preferred Faust (if I remember correctly) in the band instead. Now, the impression that this comment gives me is that Jan must've done something to piss Pelle off. Maybe something repeatedly, like unsavory jokes. Because, for me, Pelle's insult seems very sincere and personal. I am very sure that there are things that must've happened (arguments and stuff) that we will never know about, and all we can do is to try to fill the gaps with speculations about what really happened within the band. This is why I feel like Jan has 'bully' traits.

Another important aspect that bothers me to no end is how Jan was, in fact, the last person who saw and talked with Pelle. You can tell from the way he explained the incident he seemed very cold and detached about it. Pelle seemed 'happier' than ever before, telling him about his knife while he knew what Pelle could do shows how disinterested he was in his friend's well-being. And I get it that everybody was young and dumb and no one had the resources to help Pelle, but it's common sense to ask 'Hey, what are you going to do with that knife?'. Even Jørn had more common sense than this man, but I digress.

Another interesting thing about Jan is how Varg talked about him. Him and Fenriz (and Faust) are the only ones who he doesn't consider 'rats'. I get it that Jan was an extreme-right sympathizer, and that drove Varg to talk more nicely about him, but I believe that apart from their common political affinity, their personality are quite similar. It's not just a say that 'dark personalities attract one another', it's actually true. Jan seems to have some empathy issues, in my opinion, and it's very common for people in cluster B to use substances or alcohol to either numb their feelings or to 'feel something'.

I'm not insinuating anything, I'm just laying some interesting facts and observations that I have.

And then, of course, he said the worst thing possible for the sake of publicity. He said that he was in the room while Pelle took his own life, which is an aberration. But he can tell anything to the fans, right? He's alive to 'tell the story', right?

And him laughing in the phone about Øystein's death is yet another indicator that he might have some real issues with empathy.

I believe him when he says he doesn't miss Pelle or Øystein because they probably mean too little for him, but he likes talking about his dead bandmates, doesn't he?

I don't like him for these reasons and many more.

It is unfortunate and infuriating how these people talk anything but the truth nowadays and they get to pass with a lot of obvious lies just because they're famous.

i dont really like participating in ship discourses and it turned out a little longer than i thought, so im placing it undercut for those who are interested enough to read what i think

the answer is that its not for me. at least not in a romantic way. at least not for now. i was never really a fan of ships with complicated/toxic dynamics or hero x villain or rivals at all. for example, i never liked billford or tomtord or even sonadow and stuff like that. not that theyre entirely bad, its just not for me and gives me discomfort, because i was in toxic relationships myself and i just can't help but associate them with my personal experience. this includes beast x ancient and even some of the beast x beast too with the way i portay beasts characters in my mind, but its not about them

honestly, i am not really into shipping in general as i cant really understand or process the concept of shipping in my mind as a whole, if it makes sense. like i personally never truly understood the exact point of it nor felt the urge to ship. but i do understand that shipping plays a huge role in every fandom and its just how it is, people having fun, even if i am somewhere far away from all this. ofc i drew a couple of 'shipey' things out of pure joke or to play with some dynamics for fun (ex. my shadowbill animation and buttervelvet post), but never went any further than that. doesnt mean that i dont ship anything at all, trust me, i actually love some ships, but its not like HUGE for me and is very rare, it's just very difficult to explain exactly

dont get me wrong, id LIE if i said that i dont like to see beasts and ancients interact with each other. id lie if i said i dont enjoy the possibility of many interesting scenarios between them and an idea of slow redemption arcs either. all these parallels and tragic doomed soulmates stuff is SICK AF, i like their dynamics and contrasts between the characters. their bond is like a foundation of life itself; their virtues cannot exist without each other, no matter how much they like it or not and theyre complete opposites, but at the same time theres NO ONE whos is more similar to them than they are to each other. all of them are the only perfect match to confront each other and its such a peak cinema i wish more people didnt sleep on, because theres SO much you can do with it💔

i have always known I was multisexual, but around 11-12, i learned that my attraction to everyone was actually queer (i thought it was the default and people just tended to pair up in m/f relationships to have kids. i was very lucky to avoid direct queerphobia as a child and form that viewpoint.) after learning this, i obviously became very invested in learning about my identity and other queer people and the struggles we face, and i immersed myself in the culture. i found the other queer kids in middle school, and spent a lot of time online learning about different identities.

it was wonderful to find people like me! but unfortunately, from the moment i stepped into these queer spaces as (someone who used to be a) woman, i was blasted with "all men are disgusting predators, wlw relationships are morally superior and lesbians are the most oppressed because they deny men access to their body, KAM lol, etc..." like, not even kidding, this shit was EVERYWHERE being blasted at top volume from the rooftops. I internalized it and repeated it because it felt cathartic- at the time i WAS a woman who liked women, so it included me, and felt great- like getting vengeance.

but i was still multisexual. i still liked men. i never really openly talked about my attraction to men- instead i did the usual "haha being bi/pan? attracted to every woman and two men amirite?" thing. but i discovered yaoi/mlm smut and got very into it in a non-cis way, the typical transmasc experience... but i convinced myself my attraction to men was purely sexual, and suppressed my romantic attraction to them. after all, in real life, "men are icky oppressive pigs! im pansexual, but i only feel romantic attraction to women! men are unlovable and only good for porn!"

i ended up dating a woman in high school. everyone assumed we were lesbians. we didn't often correct them. we were both pan, and talked about our attraction to men like cis men talk about women: objectifying them, commenting on their bodies, talking about how they were only good as fucktoys, and how they should learn their place and bottom for women (i was also really into femdom, tangentially related.)

then, i met actual trans people irl and online, and we became friends. they talked about how they felt about their gender and their dysphoria and i listened closely and.... oh no, that's relatable. the cracks in my egg started growing. but the last thing i could ever be was a man- "im a butch who likes queer femmes! not a nasty man who likes gender conforming feminine women!"

my journey out of the closet was severely stunted by the extremely prevalent hatred of men in queer spaces. i tiptoed out at a snails pace, terrified of my truth.

for a few years i said, "okay i can be a cistrans she/they nonbinary woman, and still be a butch that other wlw will feel safe around!"

another year goes by and.... "actually im just agender. i can reject the idea of manhood AND womanhood, im just a person. but but but! im deeefinitely a nonman i promise! you guys don't hate that i want to start testosterone right?" (they did.)

another year went by. "im nonbinary and transmasc but NOT a man, mayyybe a demiboy! i want HRT and top surgery but I would NEEEEVER want a penis! penises are disgusting weapons used to rape and hurt women, and i love women!"

it took me 5 fucking years of my transition to accept my binary manhood (alongside my nonbinary gender) because of this shit. and an additional few years to accept that I actually did want bottom surgery.

alongside that revelation and unpacking of my hatred of men came the realization that im not pansexual. i actually do have a slight sexual and romantic preference towards men, and i just like femmes of every gender. i started labeling myself as a bisexual faggot instead, and a label truly felt like home for the first time.

i also had to unpack the idea that loving women as a man isn't inherently oppressive. seeing representation of m/f love that isn't straight- or straight m/f that defies patriarchal heteronormativity- feels extremely affirming to the way i experience my queer attraction to women. (transmasc heterosexuals wya? i love you guys so much, and I feel so much solidarity with you ❤️)

throughout this entire painful journey towards my true self, so, so many queer women treated me like absolute shit. i had a cis lesbian friend who came onto me, and when i told her i wasn't a woman and wasn't interested, she responded, "what a waste. you make such a hot butch lesbian right now. why would you ruin yourself with T?"

multisexual women would shame me for not jumping into self-flagellation over my attraction to men. when i told them why, and the harm it caused me and how it made me mislabel myself for years, i was told that "it's better that you're bisexual instead of pansexual because you can have a preference for women! that's what we do!" when i told them i actually relabeled because i prefer men, and i am a trans man, i was told i'm not welcome in queer spaces because im "making our lesbian allies feel unsafe."

but then, even after being ostracized and forced out of queer spaces because im an "invader..." nonqueers would also harass and mock me. i get threats of corrective rape from misogynistic men to "fix me," and "turn me back into a normal pretty girl." when i express attraction towards men, they tell me that "i look like a man, and any guy that would fuck me is secretly a fag." when i express attraction towards women, im a "nasty predatory dyke trying to steal them away from men." surprise surprise, they don't actually see me as a woman or a man, but some freakish third thing that corrupts everyone around me.

i don't know how to end this. ever since coming to terms with my manhood, my desire to be masculine, and my love of men, i have been treated worse and worse by nearly everyone. i don't feel like i belong anywhere, both because of my transmasculinity and my bisexuality.

i am so much happier with myself of course, and i feel truly satisfied with my identity now.... but it's been really hard. idk what people are talking about with masculinity always being rewarded. my experiences have been the exact fucking opposite.

And also Shadow and Eggman aren't LITERALLY uncle and nephew as funny as the technicality is, neither see each other as actual family at all and they're more interesting for it. Just like how the Commander isn't like "Shadow you're basically my brother because Maria was like a sister to me" and so on

Like fandom's answer in recent years to "there's too much romance and sex shipping so I'm going to make something more pure and wholesome with family bonds instead of that horrible icky stuff" and do it in the most generic forced boring way possible which I feel like completely ruins the whole point of the found family thing they claim to love when they're just trying to reinvent nuclear family and shoving characters into boxes of literal family roles that taek away every part of it that makes it subversive and interesting. Like isn't part of found family that family can look like something completely different than what society expects and demands and that it's okay?

That's also why people can't comprehend and fathom Eggman and Sage's dynamic absolutely not being a literal tradtional family role and not fitting into a nuclear family type box- because of how it's a case where the characters do see and call each other by familial titles. But really even then, they show themselves to have anything but a traditional dynamic a father and daughter would have with Eggman still being her boss and master and Sage being a servant valued by him for her loyalty and effiency, Sage being the guardian and protector instead of Eggman, etc

So Maria saying "we're your family" to Shadow in her dialogue doesn't force them into a literal sibling box and also family can take all kinds of forms. Fandom's pushing of literal family roles assigned to every character that isn't a ship is very regressive. You say not everything has to be shipping, well not everything has to be literal traditional nuclear family mimicking either lol

Do you prefer pre, early, mid, or late seasons wincest; and what's your fav headcanon(s), or a kink you think they share, in that era? Especially interested in how you see their dynamic re: aplatonic/aspec Dean. (If you can't choose an era, feel free to elaborate on them all.)

Oh my God it's Wednesday! I took yesterday off so I completely forgot! I'll have to think of a question. But later. I'm going to sleep at the moment.

Well. I can knock off a few answers easily.

One: I just finished Kripke era finally, so it would be silly of me to answer that I liked late or mid-seasons wincest when I haven't seen that. Although honestly knowing how kripke-focused wincest fandom can be, it wouldn't surprise me if some people's definition of "mid-seasons" is 4-5 and then anything after is late seasons, lol.

Two: I do like weecest, but it definitely isn't my favorite. I really like it in theory, and it can be downright intoxicating when done well, but so often the way people write it gets too romantic for my personal tastes. When they've always been together since at bare minimum high school and more often before that, it can get very "the one" and true love and soulmatey (which yes, I know, they are in canon, but I'm talking more about a vibe). Which is interesting because do very much headcanon their relationship as having started pre-series... It's all just a tone and texture of the writing thing. There's a lot of objectively very good wincest out there that Isn't My Thing and weecest is better at going there than most.

Which brings us to the most basic answer that everyone says, which, yes, there really was something just something in the water during seasons 1 and 2. The exes getting back together vibes of season 1 are unmatched, and then season 2 is just Sam fully deciding yeah, he'll throw everything away to be with Dean.

Season 2 is definitely the most wincestuous. It's the baseline that their relationship then proceeds to deviate from when demon deals and Ruby add conflict. When Dean asks Sam if he wants to go back to the way it was, that's what he's talking about, not season one where they're still feeling each other out again and John is the invisible, ever-present third wheel. I have a couple WIPs that are just straight smut (will I ever actually finish them? Who knows. I always find angst more appealing when I sit down to write) and that's why those are set in S2. I just want the pure SamAndDean dynamic with nothing complicating it.

That said, I do think my favorite is the more S1 side of it. I enjoy when they're feeling each other out again. I like the way they fall right back into the rhythm but it isn't quite the same. And of course, I love how John is the elephant in the room. S1 Sam and Dean is a relationship that's full of ghosts—their past selves and their father are always in the room with them. That's really fun and interesting.

Of course, don't get me wrong. I do really enjoy the divorce vibes and arc of Seasons 4 and 5. Especially the idea that they aren't having sex with each other anymore because things are weird and rough, but they also aren't having sex with anyone else (minus Ruby) because that feels like cheating. Sleeping in separate beds and all that.

And we don't have to talk about Season 3.

... You know, this is long enough. I'm going to answer the apl/aro Dean wincest part of this question later. Probably tomorrow. That will lead into tangenting about myself, and it deserves its own post anyway.

I have perfect pitch, play piano/violin/saxophone, I take vocal lessons and I sing at local theatres and restaurants (though I am not that good at it lmao), I have tap/jazz/ dance experience, I transpose music for people online, and I write/compose my own music. Music is everything to me, and I honestly think I wouldn't be who I am without it. My favorite things to do are singing and writing music. I love to write music and have so many ideas, however I don't really own the proper technology to be able to produce, mix, and properly record the songs. I hope that some day I will be able to take my songs and make them a reality!! One of my biggest dreams is to become a famous singer, songwriter and producer.

Another one of my biggest passions is acting. Another one of my biggest dreams is to become an actress. I audition for and act in many plays at local theatres and in short films that my godfather makes. I have entered in many acting competitions and leagues and have won in many of them! (In fact, I've got another competition coming up soon!) I'm WAY better at dramatic acting rather than comedic acting. I honestly think that I love acting as much as (maybe even more than) I love music. Acting is like a way to express myself through other characters, and I feel like it is such a beautiful art form. I think I am a very pessimistic person. I'm like a "glass-half-empty" kind of person and it's a very bad habit I have. I also have pretty bad anxiety, and I tend to overthink a LOT. I get very upset many times because I tend to overthink. Sometimes, I overthink something being left on read (me thinking they hate me etc.) I am also very VERY sensitive. I'm a crybaby and I tend to cry really easily. My feelings get hurt very quickly and I get sad very often and easily. I get upset and overthink over EVERYTHING, even the slightest things. I get sad and/or hurt feelings very easily. I get depressed easily too sometimes. I have a really big tendency to try to act like everyone else around me. I am very insecure and self-conscious and I always try to be like the people I am with so I can fit in. I always try to change my personality depending on who I am talking to, so I can act just like them. I worry that my act isn't good enough to fit in with others though. I'm a HUGE people-pleaser. I always put others before me, and even if I don't agree with them, I tell them that I agree with them. I constantly try to make other people like me by doing whatever they want me to do (even if it hurts me). I overapologize a lot over everything (I've gotten yelled at so many times for saying "sorry" too much lol). I am always terrified of what other people think of me. I am always scared of accidentally annoying someone. I get VERY desperate to be liked by people.

I think the reason why is because I have no friends at all. I am a very, very lonely person. I see everyone else around me with friends but I don't have a single one and I guess it just makes me really sad to know that many others my age are always talking to and hanging out with friends. Usually I feel really lonely. I wish at least one friend. Because I'm so scared of being annoying to other people, I never EVER tell anyone about my problems and worries, and I never tell anyone how I feel whenevr I am upset. I feel guilty venting and I feel like I am a burden to them. I am always too scared to open up because I get scared of bothering them.

I also love love LOVEEE hugs and cuddles, whether its platonic or romantic. Like I'm too scared to ask for them but if I ever recieve a hug I will be over the moon with happiness!!

(Just in case) Other things I love include big bright cities, video games, fruits, and sleeping lol

Shadow Milk Cookie totally understands your love for acting!

The whole WORLD is a play, in this beast cookie’s mind, and Shadow Milk thrives on the mentality that bigger is better- and there’s no better actor than Earthbread’s greatest liar!!!

Love, love, LOVES to write plays where YOU star as the protagonist- not just because he wants everybody to see just how absolutely amazing you are, but because he LOVES having people see you and know that they CAN’T have you. It’s kind of like his way of showing you off to everybody while ALSO satisfying his weird craving for everybody to know just how ‘superior’ you and him are compared to any other person. SM is. . . Weird like that. Not that getting stuck in a tree for a bazillion years really helped him all that much, but he could definitely be worse off.

Although the beast of deceit doesn’t really show it from behind his playful, saccharine demeanor- Shadow Milk Cookie deeply relates to your pessimism and tendency to mirror the people around you! He does the exact same thing, being a jester/actor/artist and all. Though. . . He definitely doesn’t do this on purpose. Most of the time. (He IS Earthbread’s source of lies and knowledge, after all. Being a LIAR is just in his nature.)

Crème Brûlée Cookie, on the other hand, often finds himself mesmerized by your music.

Being a musician himself, Crème Brûlée understands the dedication it takes to play an instrument and to write music.

He’d probably LOVE to play his beloved piano as you sang along to the sound, the sonorous pitch of your voice pairing perfectly with the tune he plays off the top of his head. Speaking of improvising, he’d also love practicing with you! To him, there’s nothing more intimate than getting to play wonderful music with another person- especially if that person is someone he deeply cares for. . .

Unlike the other two, however, Pure Vanilla Cookie understands what it feels like to be lonely. . .

Out of the three cookies here, nobody would understand your worries and insecurities better than Pure Vanilla would- Not because he’s dealt with the same problems before in others, but because he shares some of the same problems that you do!

Pure Vanilla Cookie is a devout believer in healthy communication, so any and every problem the two of you have would likely be resolved through calm conversation rather than violent screaming matches. Though I wouldn’t count on him being able to easily decipher just what made you upset in the first place just through context clues- poor guy’s a bit dense sometimes and he might need you to just spell things out for him regarding what you’re feeling. If you ever get embarrassed by your reactions to said stress, then Pure Vanilla would quickly put those thoughts to rest. I headcanon that PV is also a bit of a crybaby, so when you get upset, he starts tearing up too out of sheer empathy!

He wants to help you in your darkest moments, and he expects you to do the same for him as well- Though sometimes he fears that he might not know just how to properly help you. In those moments, HE might need some reassurance that he’s doing a good job and that he genuinely does help you at your lowest points.

He’s one of the most loving people to be around as well, so you’re never in short supply of cuddles if you hang around PV.

Although he sometimes isn’t the best at reading situations, and he sometimes has a bit of difficulty figuring out why something upset someone, Pure Vanilla is highly intelligent, both emotionally and intellectually- even more so since he gained the light of truth and unleashed his fullest potential. He can easily clock when someone is struggling with something and (with a bit of sleuthing/critical thinking), he eventually figures out what’s wrong and what the best way to help might be. If you’re EVER struggling with something, Pure Vanilla would be right beside you at the drop of a hat, asking how he can help or what he can do to ease your burdens.

Did you ever expect your RTN au to become such a big universe? How did it happen? I'm really curious!

I definitely didn't expect it to take off the way it did! It's one of those things where I sometimes sit back, really look at the numbers, and feel a sense of pleasant shock all over again.

For reference, there are just over 100 fics in/bookmarked to the Road to Nowhere Extended Universe collection, a mind-boggling number of artworks posted online or exclusively to the Discord (link here or in the fic notes for anyone interested in joining us!!), and an additional 175k words of RtN-related snippets compiled in the server that haven't been published on Ao3. I can't count the number of times I've read and reread fics/snippets and scrolled through the artwork because I love it all so much. There are so many talented people who've contributed to the universe and I'm lucky to count many of them as my friends now.

As for how it happened... it's hard to say for sure, but I'm guessing it was a combination of a few factors, starting with the way Katoshi works as a character. He's not an OC, but he can kind of function like one: writing Katoshi is different than writing purely Kakashi or Hitoshi, and he even comes with his own unique visual design. It makes it easy to create something that's distinctly RtN instead of vaguer ideas or tropes.

The server has an RtN-AU channel I created for people to go nuts with whatever ideas they wanted to, and I was pretty open from the start that anyone's welcome to write recursive works if they wanted to. My now good friend @asteroid-duck took me up on that, wrote an RtN gift fic for my birthday (that I still reread regularly), and things took off from there! I think it helps that there are a lot of encouraging people in the server that will cheer you on if you're thinking of writing something, and now there's an established audience you can write for.

My attitude towards inspired works is probably another thing, lol. I actively encourage people to create recursive works and have an open policy around it: I'm not going to police what people want to make, I'm not gonna get upset or nitpick if I personally disagree with someone's headcanon or characterization, and I don't expect everything to cater to my own preferences. Sure, I enjoy it most when works include things I like, but I'll just click out if it's not for me.

Anyway, if you're not in the server, you should come check it out! It's a pretty positive and supportive space, and has one of the biggest collections of Kakashi and crossover fans that I'm aware of.

I'm not sure why anyone would be upset about Colin gaining experience when the whole point is him understanding why he's not as invested in that sort of thing because there's no emotional connection between him and his partners which in turn makes him examine his relationship with Penelope when he realizes how he feels about her. It's sex vs making love here and because he's yet to really be in love those experiences will pale in comparison to being with Penelope. That's the whole point. While some want Colin to be a virgin along with Penelope to gain that experience together, there's something to be said about Colin understanding he was doing it wrong hence why he felt nothing more than gratification, if that. He doesn't yet understand the act of making love because he's never been in it so he's merely sating a physical need. I would want him to have more practical knowledge than Penelope. The better to pleasure her with, you know?

I can’t speak for everyone but I’m not angry or anything over the choice of him being with other people before Penelope because, like you said, he probably doesn’t understand the difference between just purely sexual satisfaction and making love with some you cherish and care for. And we could be entirely wrong on this lol.

I personally wish we could see more tropes of teens/young adults falling in love and learning their sexual awakenings together. And I know the above and what I’m about to say isn’t the case with Polin, but I find a lot of the preferred romances to be a bit icky/a power imbalance with wanting someone who has so much experience being with someone who has none. It kind of gives me the ick anymore and that’s why I think it’d be nice to see something a bit different from time to time.

Again, not saying this is Polin at all or really any of the Bridgerton couples, it’s just something I’ve noticed within the genre as a whole that irks me.

Koraidon: a strange form of Cyclizar given to me by my friend Arven, originally owned by his mother Professor Sada. He prefers not to battle, but he will if he needs to. He maily loves acting as a riding mount and food-stealer >:P

Lullay: my service Hypno and first partner Pokemon. We've been a duo for 14 years now! She doesn't primarily battle, she mostly helps with my anxiety and insomnia. She steps up for defense if we need it, though.

Tabasco: my Skeledirge and chosen starter for Naranja Academy! He's a little scrapper and eager to prove himself in a fight, and just as eager to sit back, sing his little songs, and eat all my oranges. Little orange heathen even as he grows up

Sparky: my Luxray! He's a bundle of energy and a reckless battler. He loves nothing more than getting to flaunt his stuff and also wail and cry and flail his fists on the ground when he loses

Sushi: my Curly Tatsugiri, and an odd quiet fellow. He likes splashing water on the other teammates for funny pranks and curling up in my collar or hair. That being said, he is a FIERCE battler. Honestly kinda scary with what he can pull off from such a tiny body...

Arthur: my Beartic! He's very polite with me and the team, but fierce when it comes to defense. It takes a while for him to warm up to new people, but those he warms up to he holds close.

Strawberry Lemonade: my shiny Amped-Up Toxtricity, who i rescued from the wild as a Shadow variant. She's clingy and packs a MEGA punch, and cocky with her skills as a battler. Now that she's come out of her shell, her punk rock personality really shines through.

Montez: my Garchomp, and just what you'd expect from such a feared creature. She's the meanest of the group and always first to volunteer for a fight. She swings hard and fights with pure power. Now that she's calmed, she's the perfect guard 'mon.

Things at Naranja are going great! My friend Nemona has shown me all the ropes, and I feel like I'm gonna have a good few years here. This might just be my Yelling About Things blog. So if you're into that thing feel free to tag along!

Be prepared for Main Character And Mary Sue Shenanigans, and dont be afraid to ask abt stuff he mentions in posts!! I plan to have this going as a whole thing with arcs and all that, basically going through all of scarvi's plot, including DLC down the line. This WAS gonna be an art-based askblog but i dont rlly have the time for one of those :( but ill be posting story snippets later down the lind!

Pelipper Mail is on as long as its something small, he wont accept like new pokemon or money or anything. Think like what youd get from a mystery gift :D Magic Anons are off!

Also, dont take everything Franklin says at face-value. He's got a loong history, and some secrets to hide. There's a chance he could be lying about some stuff ',:) expect a well meaning but unreliable narrator

That being said, I like to do my own worldbuilding so whenever he goes into biology details dont look too hard into it. We're havin fun here. I also don't plan on doing any multiverse shenanigans. This is a self contained story about an oc thats very dear to me :D so just go with the flow. I might interact with other blogs as long as its feasible they could on Rotomblr connected through a multiverse.
