Thanks to everyone who’s brought this to my attention!

I’m pretty certain @/jyedthrry6 is a bot, they were uploading commonly reposted text posts, until somehow stumbling into lifting from my account. I think the give away to em being a bot is how they’ve reposted not just my comics, but my patreon announcement images, and images I shared on ask replies, so the same cropped images just on its own

My suggestion is just to report them for spam, cause I think it is a legit spam bot who accidentally got wind of my work 🙏🏾

As you can see, she does very cool art, this one in particular is a tutorial on how to draw bodies. Is it the best? No, but the fact she's trying makes it great! (this is also where I've seen a couple hate comments come up, so yeah, I'm trying to be mature enough to not commit violence for her upon them) She does admit this video isn't her best work, but she does A LOT of very very cool drawings! One thing I forgot to mention my cousin doing (well, actually my cousin's section is just kinda old because it's from when she last came over, but she's back to help me again, yay!) is making memes like this. Sometimes they do involve a paper dragon, but I think they're pretty funny and/or relatable (also dragons very cool)!

2. Edits (and Undertale related things)

I'm putting these 2 in the same category just because of the example image above. While my cousin has recently started doing edits, Heartz is the only 1 of the 2 to make anything Undertale related. While the Undertale stuff comes once every blue moon it seems, that doesn't make it any less enjoyable.

something I notice (and think is interesting) is there’s a tendency for the audience now to go “OH MY GOD THE SHOW DID NOT ADDRESS THIS. WILL THEY EVER DO IT?”

And maybe this is because I am Old™️ (I’m almost 30, I too can be a dead boy now), but like… just because a show decides to show you something instead of tell you something does not mean the show did not address it. It simply means the information was provided to you differently.

Honestly? I love it when the narrative shows me things. An info dump is the bane of my existence when it comes to story telling— I’ve seen shows and read fiction that rely on a character droning on to tell the reader what they need to know, and that is painful to deal with. It becomes soap boxing (trust me, it’s not ever as poetic as someone thinks it is). However, when a writer can show you something effectively, it is an art form.

Consider an example from dead boy detectives: Charles Rowland’s shirt. No one once tells us “oh hey mate, your shirt changed colors, you must be very sad/devastated/relieved”. Yet we are shown that his shirt is changing based on how he feels in the moment. (Here’s a quick burgundy-> black->red shift).

Idk. I think my point in all of this is sometimes if you come across a work of art that didn’t tell you something with a pithy speech, that might not be a bad thing. It leaves the door open for more creative story telling.
