Dazai, after watching Kunikida scold the younger members of the Agency for not doing reports properly: Wow, Kunikida-kun, it must be so hard being a single mother.

Kunikida: What do you mean single?

Dazai: Oh??? Kunikida-kun's had a secret lover this whole time, how scandalous~!

Kunikida: You're my partner. If I'm the 'Agency's mother' like you keep claiming, then these are your kids too!

Dazai: .... What? N-No, that's not-

Kunikida, smacking Dazai with his unfinished reports: Take some responsibility and be a better example for the kids, you lousy deadbeat!!

Atsushi: Whew, finally done with the paperwork.

Dazai: That's great! Now you can fill out mine whilst I go over yours and make sure there's no mistakes!

Atsushi: You're just trying to get me to do your work again!

Dazai, gasping in offence: I would never! I am being a good mentor by-

Atsushi: I'm telling mom

Dazai: Don't tell mom! He's already mad at me!

Atsushi: Then do your work!

Dazai: You sound just like your mother.

Atsushi, pleased: Good.

Concept: Kunikida’s ability having a similar application to Kaji’s aka that he can’t be harmed by anything he makes with his ability.

This makes the helicopter scene absolute bonkers.

Because I’d assume that if this was a thing it wouldn’t be widely known about so Tecchou assumes that Kunikida’s trying to take them both out.

But nope.

He’s trying to take out Tecchou and or use him as a landing pad.

The Agency are all freaking out and telling him not to do this. That’s there’s another way and it’s all for show. Because they need to play along to let anyone else watching think Kunikida’s gone.

To make any ground forces leave.

Chuuya catches on quick and makes a whole show about being angry that someone snuck up on him (that’s somewhat true but shut shsss.)

And declares they’re leaving him behind to the others protests. The second they get far enough the cries abruptly stop.

Chuuya doesn’t even bat an eye at any of this because in the (anime version) of the OVA he was present when Kunikida set off the bomb in the train station.

And was on the phone to Mori so they’re all in the know.

Meanwhile Kunikida gets his coordinates to meet up with everyone after knocking Tecchou out and ditching him.

There’s no body when the ground forces come to collect him and Tecchou. And by that point he’s long gone before any of them can find him.

Atsushi in the vent smiles in relief after overhearing what happened because he knows Kunikida’s okay.

Re: Guidebook Tenkaroku. You can only see them in a couple of frames, but the avatars from the arcade cabinets selection menu are all based on the ada members. Here they are as displayed in the guidebook!! (It's simple photos, so keep in mind that proportions may be a bit off)

By the way, Dazai picked demon schoolgirl Naomi to defeat Chuuya's martial artist cyborg Tanizaki. You can even read the avatars' names “Oni” (demon) and “Cyborg” on the cabinet display ( ˶ˆoˆ˵)

Random headcannons I have about the Agency living in the dorms.

Atsushi is banned from cleaning and doing any chores other than his own. Because he cleans like he's back in the Orphanage.

Dazai is banned from the kitchen indefinitely after setting it on fire on his first day while making toast at 4am.

There's a whiteboard in the communal area with everyones daily tasks, a shopping list, who's turn it is to do certain things etc.

There's also a drawing from Kenji to brighten everyone's morning and yes it's usually a cow.

Infact a lot of his and Kyouka's drawings having been put on the walls and fridge. Along with some of Dazai's... Well after Kunikida deemed them appropriate of course.

They have weekly movie nights where they write titles of what they want to watch and than draw them out of a hat at random.

Said hat has sometimes ended up being Chuuya's hat (Dazai stole it.) It's gotten to where the door is left unlocked for Chuuya to charge in (without breaking down the door) and retrieve his hat.

Sometimes they manage to convince him to stay and watch movies with them. If he does, he's not allowed to sit next to Dazai because they'll argue throughout the whole thing.

Kyouka and Junichiro like to bake together and whenever they do Ranpo is always the first to offer to taste test.

There's jars with everyones names on them known as the bail jars. Kunikida's is used the most out of everyone else's.

The older members go for a night out of drinking on Friday nights. They invite Katai (as they do with movie nights) and each of them take turns being the designated driver.

But this doesn't always go to plan and on those days Junichiro will show up to drive them back to the dorms. (Listen if the kid can pilot a helicopter I think he can drive a car.)

The underaged members of the Agency will have a game night. They play a punch of video and board games, sometimes as teams and other times individually.

The points are added up and the winner is declared.

It's fair because the younger members of the Agency can't drink and the older ones are banned from game night. Because they get way to over competitive, looking at you Yosano.

No ones allowed to bring work home with them. Atsushi and Kunikida break this rule constantly and have been reprimanded by the others.

When there's unrest around them, someone's having nightmares, or it's an anniversary of a tragedy, whatever it is on those nights where one or all of them are struggling they all have a sleepover in the communal area.

They all take their blankets and keep each other close. Sometimes they'll talk and sometimes they won't. They just need everyone close.

Fukuzawa doesn't live in the dorms but he lives nearby and drops in regularly to check up on everyone.

I like to think he changed his major 2 times, had a bombastic love affair that scarred him for life and made him write all those stipulations for the “ideal woman”, had a whole villain arc AND a redemption arc and THEN decided to become a math teacher

In Japan every year we have this thing where the town has this big fireworks show to celebrate the summer, and this time when I watched the fireworks I got WAN flashbacks and wondered if we'd ever see everyone back together again. (alive)
