gojo being scary is kinda... hot?? imagine ur his enemy for wtv reason and the first time u met him he scared u right out of ur skull without even SPEAKING. u just jumped and gasped like oh thats him — 6'3 scary witchy lookin ass with that ethereal look that's a little unsettling up close. the fact he's 90% legs too and he just wears all black n has those broad sharp shoulders. and he doesn't acknowledge u not bc he's being a 🤬 but bc ur not aggressing him and he thinks oh ur so small and cute how could u be my "enemy".

his first impression of you is that ur like a frightened kitty cat. after he encounters u enough times he flirts with u but his flirting tone just doesn't register to u bc ur terrified of him bc he could tear u limb from limb if he wanted to 🫠 his title "the strongest" rlly sinks in for him when he sees u cowering beneath him. u and him encounter each other in shibuya and he just looks at u like ur something he wants to carry on his shoulder and take home. he gets a bit egotistical and cheeky around u too when he sees u literally shaking from his presence alone — "aw, you shakin' 'cause of me? need a hug?"

and sometimes he fake attacks u to scare the shit out of u. he cages u between his legs. "just kidding." he says after releasing his grip on ur neck. "anyways. wanna get dinner after this?" u cant tell if he's seriously asking this or not until he adds, "hey come on kitten, i'm feelin' kinda lonely. ya know i wasn't trying to kill you earlier — i was just playing around 'cause it's fun playing with you."

Hot take and not to be a killjoy or the shipping police but people treating Viktor or Jinx's aroace headcanons as if they were canon is not the revolutionary take people think it is.

Headcanons are always all right but we have to acknowledge that they are somehow damaging when they apply to stereotypes. It might not be the case for everyone but most of the time people unconsciously assume that disability/mental illness=asexuality. These headcanons erase the freedom of attraction from people who are already seen as unable to have sexual/romantic experiences/desires, when it's completely untrue and harmful.

You can headcanon Viktor and Jinx as aroace, but I have seen people changing their minds once Viktor is no longer disabled (s2 with all of his other forms) and Jinx is no longer as mentally ill (alternate universe Powder). And it speaks wonders of how people see these characters.

"I never thought about Jinx being able to feel romantic/sexual attraction until s2!" To believe she's actually only capable of that when she's not "damaged" is incredibly disturbing. Especially since Jinx has always had a bit of a flirty personality too.

"I've always seen Viktor as asexual, I don't know why!" That's fine. You can headcanon him as ace. But I believe there is a reason behind it, most of the time, if for some inexplicable reason the "vibes" of the disabled character are making you think he's ace.

I say all of this being aroaspec myself, by the way. Headcanon all you want but going to people's posts commenting how "it's weird for you that they have romantic/sexual plots when they're clearly aroace" is not a win at all. It's a headcanon, after all, and it should be treated as such, and that's fine. But it also is damaging to spread stereotypes like these.

Of course the disabled character is asexual. Of course the mentally ill character is aromantic. It's not as revolutionary as you might think, tbh.

Fandom is not activism and it's all right to have any headcanons you want BUT some of them are filled with damaging stuff and perhaps we should look into ourselves more before treating these assumptions as something canon.

never not thinking about light's normal guy Diary. what exactly is he putting in here. it's unobtrusive but also classy. it has DIARY written on the front in big letters just so we can be sure that there is in fact nothing unusual going on here. it feeds into the manifold means he has for turning literally every facet of his existence into another piece of counter-evidence in the trial he seems to see as inevitable - another way of outwitting some imaginary pursuer (no one has even COME for him yet) and always, always having the upper hand with feigned expressions of vulnerability. it's kind of sad. light yagami sitting down at the end of every day to write around what he is, he'd be dilligent with it too. if he stopped at any point, the trap would seem too elaborate, far too much for a few pages of nothing.

the statements "lestat does many terrible inexcusable things" and "there is a Reason for everything lestat does, even the things that end up being senselessly cruel" absolutely can and should coexist

like. louis might be dealing with too many things himself to notice, but it's evident to an observer. yes, lestat laughs at him when he asks if he's "enough" - and it's cold, and cruel, and definitely the wrong thing to do in that emotionally fraught conversation; but it's not random. the reason lestat reacts this way, with laughter that is almost a shock, is because throughout the years they've already spent living together, louis has acted like lestat is not enough for him. he's tried to maintain a relationship with humans, fallen into depression realizing he will never have a family of his own, scoffed at the idea of lestat being his family - and because lestat can no longer read his mind and is himself rather ignorant, selfish, and insecure, he could not see it as anything else but a rejection. being lestat, he reacts accordingly - he tries to make louis jealous, tries to push him into staking a claim - and louis barely ever does!.. so he keeps pushing and making things worse and worse. it's cause and effect. a rube goldberg device of pettiness and heartbreak

my Stephanie Brown hot take is that she should get mad bitches now that she's single in comics. Yes yes shipping BUT the one time she had sex she was punished by the narrative via teen pregnancy.
