hey wouldn't it be fun to give Hunter a bunch of Grimwalker things that no one but Belos knew about and everyone assumes is just Belos being cruel until they try something different and then it turns out it was actually necessary for Hunter's wellbeing?

so like one day Hunter mentions never having ice-scream or cake or really any other type of dessert. and everyone's like "that's so sad we have to get him ice-scream right away." but then Hunter spends the next couple hours being violently ill and it turns out Grimwalkers can't handle processed sugar

or he was never allowed to go to the healers when he was injured and he always had to stitch himself up (or Belos would do it sometimes if it was bad enough). and everyone's completely horrified because that's terrible and evil and what could the point of that be except to make Hunter go through more pain? and then someday he breaks a leg or something and they take him to the healers and it just. doesn't work. nothing happens. and it turns out healing magic is completely ineffective on Grimwalkers

anyway I think it would be fun to make the line between what was care and what was abuse a little blurry every now and again

have been thinking about professor sol even. professor bufo with no clearly discernable lesson plan. sol bufo ostensibly martial arts professor who spent two weeks running a yoga and meditation program and shows up to the next class with crochet hooks for everyone. professor bufo who is technically supposed to be assigning grades to students but hasnt given anyone less than an A because "i think they worked really hard and they did a great job :)" (referring to the ugliest and most malformed pot holder anyone has laid eyes upon in their life). professor bufo who is on his way to cluelessly kickstart the sexual awakening of about half the cohort of the academys new students. sol bufo adjunct professor who is gone half the year and his first class back is so immediately and easily baited into going into a long tangent about how cool his friends are. sol who is pretty sure hes easily the most useless professor on campus and almost cries when he sees his little desk overflowing with thank you notes at the end of the year. professor bufo absolutely fucking gloriously hot in the tightest little sweater vest because there were faculty complaints when he wore a crop top to class.

Hello again, more biting questions hehe. When Valentina gets jealous of mc biting Hana, she attacks you. If you say "its not what it looks like" she mocks you and then says you're still the same. If you say you were just hungry and apologize, mc feels bitter and the narration says it feels familiar saying that to her.

Did the mc cheat on Valentina in their past? Did they do it to each other? Or is Valentina referencing something else? I know this could also be head canon territory but I was so fascinated by every variation of her attacking mc and the differences in her reactions. I'm loving the emotions and uncertainty and drama in this demo. Thank you!

Feeling very very weird because some of you who have been here for years may know that I used to keep track of all the crazy shit my Spanish prof. used to say in contrast to my very nice and proper English lit. prof. (who was his partner)... and it is now, having graduated a couple years ago, that I emailed that crazy Spanish prof. not as a student but as we are now... professional acquaintances. And it got me thinking and I said oh fuck.

while I’m talking about Apple White discourse I think I’m going to elaborate on what I said in my previous post and say that (in the most respectful way possible) I also think that Apple antis are equally shit at arguing their point sometimes.

For example, I partly agree if someone says that Apple’s redemption arch didn’t land for them, or that you think it should have gone much further, especially the latter point (although I would argue that’s down to inherent limitations of the medium). And there’s probably some valid points that I passionately disagree with as well. That’s the beauty of agreeing to disagree.

but all to often (and to be fair maybe it’s just poorly worded) I find myself reading posts that don’t seem to understand what a redemption arch is, or more annoyingly that a character being slow to come around and going back and forth is the sign of one being well written.
