Hello have you ever heard about the book called The Night I Danced With Rommel by Elisabeth Marrion? I've read the overview and it sounded like some kind of fanfiction (I would read) to me. 😅
No I haven't heard of it before, but I looked it up and now I'm kind of interested👀 Don't know if I'd get to read it anytime soon (I think my parents are getting a bit weirded out by me constantly ordering books related to WW2😭😂 I mean I'm an adult and can buy what I want but of course they still comment on it when I open my packages. I just really enjoy learning about it though!). I might put it on my list for later though! From what I understood it's based on some personal experiences of the author's mother, but I wouldn't assume it's entirely historically accurate (partly because of personal bias - from the title and description I'd guess it paints a rather positive picture of Rommel, and partly because fictionalising some elements just might make for a better story). I'm wondering though if I should rather read it in English or German, as far as I could find out just from googling, the author has written both versions by herself, but I wonder which one may convey the story better in this case.
Also I now got a bit curious about whether there are actual fanfictions about Rommel and looked it up just for the heck of it. I have to say, well, there's not a lot😅 First of all, there is only a small number of stories in English, most I found are written in Chinese so I can't understand them anyway. Among the ones I could understand, I found one x reader story that was extremely out of character (pointing this out because tbf I expected a lot more of these just based on how popular he is, but apparently I was wrong), otherwise most stories seem to be crossovers/AUs with various fandoms (many that I'm not familiar with, so I don't think it's really worth for me to read if he's just a minor character), and some topics are simply not my taste.
I only looked on Ao3 at the moment, but these are the stories that could be interesting and I might actually consider reading if I find the time (based on just their descriptions, mind you I haven't actually any of them properly past the first few sentences and have no idea if they're actually good):
Desert Fox Triumphant: Rommel beats the Allies in June 1944 - An alternate universe historical fanfiction where Rommel beats the allies in the Normandy, the description doesn't give away much, but it seems like Rommel is actually the main character which got me interested (plus my guy Fritz Bayerlein is listed among the characters so that's a personal bonus for me).
The Second Terran Sector War/Clone Wars - In this story apparently a bunch of important WW2 figures find themselves in the Star Wars universe and have to deal with that. Besides my history interest, I'm also a big Star Wars fan so this is a crossover that really intrigues me actually.
We'll Always Have Paris - An alternate universe fanfic set in the world of the Desert Peach comics. The content warnings include some heavy stuff so I'm not sure if I'll actually want to read it, but I'm curious about any fan content of the series in general, since there's not a lot of it out there in the first place.
Well, I have no idea how this post suddenly turned into Rommel fanfic recommendations😂 That was decidedly not planned, but actually kind of interesting to look into. Thinking that Rommel is generally regarded as a fascinating and even popular historical figure, I was surprised to find there's actually so little, so I felt like highlighting those that seem intriguing to me.
#why do my posts always get so long😂#I mean I guess I just enjoy writing stuff so I'd say that's a good thing#this was really fun to answer thank you!#erwin rommel#ww2#ww2 germany#ww2 history#ww2 fiction#reichblr#ask

Hey friend! So I’ve been listening to a bunch of your Royai podfics lately and I just love them. Its the best way to get my fic fix while also being a productive adult lol. I’m blown away with how professional and polished your stuff is! You definitely could be recording full blown audiobooks, if you aren’t already! (And if you are, I’d love to know where to find those!)
I’m intrigued by your whole process: how you pick stories, record, edit, etc. Choosing when and where to use tone inflection, pacing, all that. You can fully nerd out if you feel like it! I’m so curious. ☺️❤️
Ahhhh what a wonderful message to find in my inbox!! 🥰🥰🥰 I'm so happy that my podfics have become something that you listen to in your daily routine! I don't record audiobooks or do this in any kind of a professional sense, but I do try to emulate what I love of different audiobooks/professional productions and other peoples' podfics, so your compliment means the world to me!
I started with a very stream-of-consciousness response and have tried to cohere it into something readable. You said I could fully nerd out, so here's over 2k of me taking you up on that xD
Choosing a fic:
I tend to gravitate towards fics that have more narration as opposed to dialogue. I love being in a character's head and fully living in their world and the way they experience it. When I am reading dialogue, I don't try to sound exactly like the voice actor (if it's from a tv show or movie) or adopt their accent, but I do try to embody the character in my voice, if that makes sense. If there are too many characters with dialogue, this gets difficult for me, which is why many of my solo podfics have two or fewer characters who speak, or why I create multivoice podfics with fellow podficcers.
In my podfic spreadsheet, there are several pages dedicated to fics that I'd like to record someday. Most of them are under 1k, though I do have a few that are around 3k (which would be on the longer side for me). I jot notes to remember what each fic is/what I would like to do with it—some examples of what those sound like with fics I haven't recorded yet: Zuko asks how Iroh survived when Lu Ten died because of Izumi feels; Al reflecting on Royai rebuilding Isvhal, no dialogue; Roy takes Riza out on a date (cover art would be a theatre program); good angsty Edwin moment after the boys come home (could have thunder in background); Ghost!Roy as Riza carried on, will need to build to this level of angst; Abbott Elementary book fair *chef's kiss*; Roy announces he’s engaged to some mystery woman but PSYCHE HE’S ALREADY MARRIED TO RIZA.
I used to have a pretty even split of recording fics with blanket permission versus asking authors for permission, but these days, I tend to be too lazy to ask lol. Not saying that I won't do it, but when the mood strikes me to record, I need to know pretty quickly if I can complete the project, and a bp statement really helps with that!
Prep work:
When I first began podficcing, I would put the entire fic into a google doc. This let me annotate the script for every little thing (highlighting dialogue, typing out phonetic pronunciations of difficult names/words, and putting spaces in between sections of text to help with breath control being the most common). The more I podficced, the less I had to annotate, until all I would do with my scripts was put in the spaces. I want my breath to be consistent/unnoticeable, so I read with that in mind. Often you can use the punctuation as your guide, but sometimes there are long stretches with no punctuation, and I have to figure out how a sentence should be cut up to make its meaning clear.
I didn't make these scripts for any of my solo podfics during Voiceteam this past May, and I still felt comfortable recording, so I think I may be past needing this tool for the most part. I just need to read through the fic a few times and look up any potential pronunciation issues right before I record.
Recording the podfic:
My early podfics were recorded with the microphone attached to my earbuds, and you can definitely hear it in the quality 🙈🙉 I did at least use a makeshift pop filter, so that helped with my plosives from the beginning.
After a few months, I got a blue snowball mic, which makes the quality so much clearer, and even more so once I got a computer that can run Audacity (more on why I love this program later).
I currently record in my closet, which is a long wide shape, so the doors don't close all the way when I'm inside of it. I shut them as best as I can to prevent outside noises, and I stand as I record. I used to sit at my desk with a soundproofing box around my mic, but I found it hard to get good breaths for long periods of time, so now I stand. The tradeoff is that I have to be wearing good shoes if I'm recording more than thirty-ish minutes (which could happen if the podfic is ultimately longer than twelve or so minutes because…)
My raw audio is usually at least twice as long as the final product. I often record several takes for lines, sometimes if I mess up, but usually if I don't think I captured the emotional quality that I can hear in my head when I read the line with my eyes. Sometimes it takes up to ten times for a line to feel right; other times, an early take ends up being the best one.
The previous point touches on how I handle putting inflection into my voice. The other part of it is thinking through how the speaker would say a particular word/phrase. If it's narration, I've emotionally been with that speaker for the entire fic, so I lean into that; if it's dialogue, it might be someone new, so I have to switch my brain. Either way, I have to (consciously or unconsciously) think through: 1. how would I personally say this? 2. how would the character say this? 3. how would the audience want to hear this? 4. how would the meaning be most effectively heard? Often there is overlap in these questions, but not always. If there's a conflict between these, I try to remember that my audience is probably just listening with their ears, not simultaneously reading with their eyes, so I need to prioritize their being able to understand what is happening and why. That's why I try to affect my voice in different ways and not literally mumble or shout, even if the fic has the character doing that.
Since you mentioned my Royai podfics, I will mention one way I distinguish their voices depending on who the narrator is. When Roy is the narrator, any of his dialogue is in my normal voice, and Riza's dialogue becomes slightly higher and slower; when Riza is the narrator, her dialogue is in my normal voice, and Roy's dialogue becomes slightly lower and faster.
I put a lot of pressure on myself to nail the first and especially the last line of a fic, so I will record a good number of takes for those. It's only happened once that I loved the first take I did of a final line. Sometimes I annoy myself at how many takes I record, but I'm thankful for the choices when I'm editing, so this is simply how I do things!
The hardest part of recording for me is keeping my voice quality consistent. I drink a lot of water throughout the day, but even so, I get dry mouth as I record, and once you're at that point, drinking more water doesn't really help. Tricks like chewing gum or brushing my teeth right before recording help me out.
Editing the podfic:
This has actually become my favorite part of the process! It feels like a puzzle and a treasure hunt, trying to find the best ways to pick out the best parts of my performance and turn it into a final product.
When I started podficcing, I had a chromebook, so the only audio editing software available was free online websites. I don't even remember the ones I used, but they did most of the things I wanted, and they let me get my foot in the door. The problem was that they were limited in tools, such as…
Noise reduction is my favorite feature of Audacity, which is the software I currently use. If you go back and listen to my podfics chronologically, you can clearly tell when I started using it because the general crackle in the background disappears. I have no plans to delete old pods, but it is as painful for me to listen to them for this reason as it is to reread fics I wrote in high school lol
The first round of edits is picking out the best takes for each line. Sometimes that means listening to several takes over and over before I choose my favorite; occasionally, I splice together the first half of one take and the second half of another. I'm very proud when I can do this with a single word and you can't tell the difference at all. I laugh when it sounds like I've done this with a word, but actually I just read it weird and I have no other take to substitute it with xD
Something else I do in the first edits is take out excessive space between sentences and paragraphs. I basically reset my breath/voice after every segment (could be a sentence or part of a sentence) so there's always extra space. I tend to edit down to one to two seconds between sentences, two to three seconds between paragraphs, and four to five seconds between entire sections of a fic. Of course, there are always exceptions (a character feeling very emotional, especially angry or excited, will have faster sentences; dialogue is formatted in paragraphs but it is inflection rather than time that indicates to the audience that a new paragraph/speaker has begun; an emotional line might require more space to let the audience process it).
Once I have all of the words edited together, I will do a second round of edits for tightening up the pacing. I listen to the edit without looking at the text, keeping my hands busy with a video game or coloring. As I'm listening, if something feels too fast or too slow, I'll make edits in real time, back it up, and listen again. The reason I can't read and listen during this pass is because my eyes are expecting too much and I can't properly hear what the audience will hear. When I began podficcing, I thought I had enough space in between words and sentences, but when I would listen back, I realized that I had cut too much out and the podfic's speed was faster than I liked. Now I leave more space in during the first edit and do this pacing pass.
Once I'm happy with the narration, I save it as a narration only file. I love adding in music and effects when I can, but I'm sure there are some who would rather only listen to the narration, so I make this available for accessibility and preference reasons.
I will usually make a final version with music and/or sound effects. This is one area where I'm specifically trying to emulate professional audiobooks and how they use music under the opening credits before fading out as the story begins.
Finding music is its own kind of scavenger hunt. I prefer to use public domain or creative commons music because it feels more true to the collaborative/transformative spirit that podfics have for me, and the idea of a podfic being taken down for copyright reasons does make me nervous. ccmixter and Purple Planet have a lot of songs that I've used in the past. The former has literally thousands of songs, which can overwhelm me if I'm working on a deadline, so I will sometimes just listen to random tracks and download anything that might be helpful in the future. That being said, if a fic uses a song lyric as a title or the author mentions a song as inspiration, I will try to use that song as the music if possible. I'm especially proud of how I used "Wait for It" at the end of An Endless Uphill Climb.
I use sound effects far less frequently than music, but they are fun when there is a natural place for them. I love the Star Wars audiobooks, and they often use sound effects and music in a way that heightens the emotions in the listener. That is always my guiding star, though I will admit to sometimes using effects just because they make me happy!
Cover art:
Like music/sound effects, this part is totally optional, but I usually do it because I have a lot of fun with it! I make everything in Canva, and again, I try to use public domain or creative commons images. Openverse is my go-to search engine because they make it really easy to tell which images I'm allowed to use in what ways. Sometimes I have a vision and try to find images to match; other times I have no idea and just see what I can find, or I can't find what I had in mind and have to switch gears.
Random facts that I couldn't find a spot for:
I learned how to read for an audience by being a lector at mass (reading either something from the Old Testament or something from the New Testament, other than the Gospels) in a church with lots of marble, which explains why I read on the slow side. Had to leave room for the echo before I started speaking the next line!
I've actually found that my own fic writing became easier to read aloud once I started podficcing. That doesn't make it better or worse—there are beautiful passages in literature/fic that are easier to read with the eyes than with the ears. But it is definitely a thing.
.
Thank you again for sending this ask! I hope this peek behind the curtain was interesting to you, even if it was probably far more than you were asking for xD And another thank you for listening to my podfics—it really does mean so much to me that something I've made can brighten up your day 💖

No. 2, 10, 11, 12, 15 for Sherliam, Albert/Mycroft and HuaLian.... Thanks 🌻
2. What their love letters look like
Sherliam: I think while they were separated before they came back to London they probably wrote a fair amount (though that might have been complicated by Sherlock being on the move so much.) Some of their letters were long and sentimental and filled with the kind of stuff that prompts a historian 150 years later to call them "besties." Other times it was just telegraphs like: arrived safely STOP terrible weather the whole trip STOP miss your butt.
Mycal: Albert writes long poetic love letters in beautiful penmanship and Mycroft is very dry and droll and they're both incredibly pretentious in their own ways.
Hualian: They never write love letters because they're always together, they have a telepathic private chat even when they're not, and Xie Lian can't read Hua Cheng's handwriting. 😂😂😂
10. What TV shows they watch together, and which ones they hide from the other
Sherliam: They like to watch NatGeo documentaries and mystery shows together. Sherlock is pretending he doesn't like Dateline and William is pretending he doesn't like Hallmark Channel movies.
Mycal: they watch The Great British Bake Off together. Albert hides that he cries over soap operas and Mycroft is inexplicably secretive about his love of PBS Masterpiece Theatre.
Hualian: (with the caveat that I'm referencing all western shows, I don't know Chinese TV, I'm sorry!) They watch grumpy detective shows together. Hua Cheng secretly watches HGTV and rants about the decorating choices. Xie Lian secretly watches kids' cartoons.
In every set of couples, they are all actually entirely aware of and endeared by their partner's "secret" faves.
11. What their first impression was of each other
I think we have this pretty well established in canon for both Sherliam and Hualian, but I do wonder about Mycal, because I have the (perhaps entirely wrong lol) impression that the first time we see them interact is not the first time they do interact. I imagine their first meeting as polite but with a bit of a strange edge to it: some recognition in both of them that this is someone to Keep An Eye On. Cautious but intrigued.
12. What they do for their anniversary
They are all basic bitches who plan to just go out for a nice dinner and exchange gifts and then have a bunch of sex. However, Mycal are the only ones who actually manage this without Shenanigans and Escapades along the way. Sherliam and Hualian both have anniversary stories involving things like getting lost and getting robbed and accidentally solving a murder and breaking a bone and having a near death experience.
15. What they would change about each other
Sherliam: Sherlock would (and did!) change William's self-loathing. William would (and also probably did at least to a degree) change Sherlock's smoking and drug habits.
Mycal: Mycroft would also change Albert's self-loathing. (It's a work in progress.) Albert would want Mycroft to be a little more open about his emotions.
Hualian: they would both want the other to stop sacrificing themselves. They're getting there.

I'm very intrigued by your use of light, how you conceptualise it, how you choose the mood, and how you adjust it to make it work in the way you want. I don't really know how to ask or what I am asking in specific haha But I love your use of light and it always calls my attention whenever you do something with it, it's usually very interesting and adds a lot to the move of the pieces, fixing them in a context beyond the piece itself that adds so much. I wonder how you come up with it, both conceptual and technical process.
Thank you so much!! I'm not too confident in coloring to be honest, my process changes every time I do it bc I'm still in a constantly experimental phase with it lol, means a lot to hear that!
To be totally honest I have a set palette I use when doing base colors and the rest is just layer modes and gradient maps. I also don't do much conceptualizing, I just kinda make it up as I do... sometimes I have a vague idea in mind, like wanting something to have really dull, solemn colors. Other times I like to just throw a bunch of clashing colors together on purpose for more chaotic drawings and it usually makes it more chaotic in a way I think is fun.
But yeah, to boil it down I set flats down with preset colors, throw on a monochrome multiply layer with just one or two colors I want to be the focus as a gradient. Sometimes another multiply layer with shading, but I've been too lazy to do most of that so I usually check out after hair and faces (which I generally start with)... and then I'll flatten everything, duplicate the layer and throw a gradient maps on (sometimes multiple) with varying layers of opacity. Sometimes I'll erase bits of these layers to give things kind of bursts of contrasting colors... examples if it helps
This is a super haphazard response but so is my coloring process, idk if this helps much... I am truly always throwing spaghetti at the wall and most of the time it sticks hahaha. I don't color that often bc it is usually what frustrates me when I'm drawing. I've said this before, but once I get frustrated with something I know that means I need to wrap it up, so I wind up with a lot of B&W sketches. Which is fine. :] (my recent stuff is a fluke, I do not color or detail stuff like this historically lol)
In short: if nobody got me I know gradient maps got me
ETA: OH ALSO blurring the hell out of stuff that is further in the distance or otherwise not the focus of the drawing is my cheap trick to create depth. most of the time i forget to do this but it makes me like things more lol
#yip yap#color theory exists or whatever but i do what i want#also side note in pics that involve jack and another character i tend to draw him blocking light that is shining from behind him#just springs into mind whenever i draw him

[ A wild Kioku approaches Yael ! ]
HEY! Man, are you okay?
I heard you nearly drowned in the river! That's not good at all obviously, and I should know! I've fallen into my fair share of rivers. I saw a green-haired kid fish you out, though, which I'm grateful for. I've only just recently arrived and I'm no good at remembering names, so I couldn't tell you who it was. I'm sorry.
I don't really know you all that well, but I think you should eat something. The other kids tell me to be careful with you, and I've seen you pat your body pretty often, so I'm worried you might have health issues.
Here, take this jelly. It's plain, so hopefully it won't bang up your innards or anything. Don't even worry about where I got it! Haha. Ha. It's super important to eat and gain at least a little more strength! Maybe it'll help you out in the future! you know, with the falling or fainting and drowning stuff... I wonder how you ended up there...
Anyway, I know this is super sudden, but I kinda know what almost-drowning feels like, too. I just wanted to try and help a little bit. I'm not really sure how to do it properly... I just want you to feel better. I hope you can feel better.
Oh, the teacher is coming... I'm gonna run now, see you around!
Hiiii!! This is Para!! Sorry for all that, I just thought it would be silly. I'm here to ask what Yael thinks of Kioku! He's a super interesting character to me, and while you've already explained a bit of his thoughts on Kio, I'd like to ask if you could share any more/explain further? If it's okay with you! The whole angel thing was particularly intriguing...
Love your characters as always, and I truly do enjoy learning more about them :)
[Yael stares back at Kioku with wide eyes like she’s just given him the world rather than a single somewhat unremarkable jelly.]
Oh! Yes, um, it was an accident. A bad one, but I’m still here… Can tells me he’s the one who found me, and I’ll take his word for it. He seems like he would do something like that…
Sorry you’ve fallen into water a lot, too. Drowning feels stranger than I would’ve imagined. A lot worse. Thank you for the food, it almost tastes a little bit sweet if I hold it in my mouth for a while! You really are an angel. [He says this very seriously, though it flies over Kioku’s head. He’s quiet for a moment.]
I hope maybe we can talk more and—oh, yes, go ahead. Goodbye Kioku! The teacher’s probably here to take me for another useless checkup.
Hiii Para! Thanks for dropping this in my inbox, Kioku’s adorable face was the best thing to wake up to earlier today 🥺 To expand on Yael’s thoughts on Kioku a bit, I’ll establish some comparisons with his other fundamental relationships to give you a reference point:
He has the strongest feelings for @paradisedisconcert’s Can and @alien-til-i-stage’s Macbeth and Innamorati, Can being his purest relationship, Macbeth more muddled, and Inna just. Ridiculous. Who even knows
Add Kioku to this bunch of people he takes an especially strong interest in once she arrives, Kio being a person he looks up to and believes wholeheartedly in (due to misguided reasons, but there nonetheless).
He thinks of her as an Angel; Macbeth as Death; Can as Life; and Innamorati as personal Salvation. Kioku and Macbeth both represent “selfless” ideals: He adores Kioku because he believes she is here to save them from their eternal prison—not just to save him, but ALL of them. He truly believes she’s filled with all the good in the world and she can do no wrong in his eyes. His feelings about her are misguided but pure in nature. He also mixes up romantic and platonic feelings a lot, and she is the only one of these 4 he doesn’t feel confused about. I’ve mentioned that he’s subconsciously drawn to unhealthy relationships, Can being (for the most part anyway) an exception. Kioku is too good to have those kinds of feelings for, in Yael’s mind.
His perception of Kioku as an angel is different from his idea of Can as life or Inna as salvation. Can and Inna are what he perceives as his “selfish” ideals. Can isn’t holy or angelic in his eyes, but rather incredibly human; flawed and damaged, proof of their existence. Yael views his own existence, simply existing for himself, as selfish, and Can encourages living for himself. Inna is Yael’s personal salvation from his own mistake of playing a part in Macbeth’s death; Macbeth, who he believed was supposed to die and be free. He missed him so badly and questioned if it would be better for him to still be with him. He can’t change it, though, so he seeks absolution from the last piece of Macbeth there is.
Yael creates his own Saints in his head and Kioku is one of them. She represents a twisted sort of hope to him, and he wants to protect her and help her with whatever she needs to repay her for descending to Anakt Garden.
Thank you for the ask, I love yapping about the children. I love your characters too, I’m excited to learn more about Jiu and Kioku! That said if Jiu hurts her I will be seen on the news

I wish that I were a streamer, bc what just happened to me is SO insane.
So despite having played Minecraft for years I've never actually beaten the game on a survival world. I always get distracted and end up creating a new world before I actually get to that point. Earlier today, I decided to log onto a slightly older world (like a year or so, not very old, but it's been a bit) since I'd already progressed pretty far.
I gather all my stuff and start hunting down the stronghold. It takes a bit, especially cause I'm not super practiced at this, but I find it! I also happen to find a bunch of old stuff from when I apparently died trying to find the stronghold ages ago- that was a nice surprise!
You know what wasn't a nice surprise??
The stronghold sitting snug up against the deep dark.
Honestly, at first I think it's pretty cool. It's the first time I've actually seen the deep dark in person, so I'm more intrigued than anything else.
I set my spawn, and start looking for the portal room.
I open a single door and hear a shrieker go off.
Darkness starts pulsing.
Right about then is when I start thinking 'ok this might be a Problem!!!'
I'm hoping the shrieker or catalyst or whatever it is that actually spawns the warden is outside the door, so I press my luck and go forward. I end up setting it off again, so I retreat to try and figure out my next move.
I'm wondering if I should just abandon this stronghold and find a new one, but that would be a pretty long journey. If I can just get rid of the catalyst, I should be set to explore the stronghold.
I leave the actual stronghold itself and start carefully going around looking for where the problem spot is, but I can't actually see anything important except for a diamond. I crouch the whole way, grab it, and come back to the top.
And then. A zombie villager sneaks up behind me and knocks me off into the deep dark.
I land on the catalyst, setting a shrieker off again of course.
Now, I wasn't sure how many times you could set the warden off. I thought it ran on a 3 strikes you're out system, so I am PANICKING.
I try to break the catalyst.
The catalyst is also under a water stream so I'm splashing around the whole time and. Of course. I set off a shrieker again.
The Warden spawns.
Somehow, I manage to swim back up the water stream without dying. I turn around. The Warden is about six blocks away.
It is at this point that I just fully pause the game to contemplate my fate.
Maybe I should've logged out at that point, to lose that aggro on myself. But I didn't think about that.
I was incredibly certain I was about to die, and having just gained back a ton of stuff that I'd been devastated by losing in the first place, (enough that I had kind of lost interest in this world originally), I decided that making sure I didn't lose any of my stuff was the priority.
And my spawn point was basically right there...
I dropped back into the stronghold and was almost immediately killed by the Warden. But when I respawned, I could see my stuff all right there, still safe.
New problem: the Warden had dropped down and was also right in front of my spawn point.
And thus begins my death loop.
I put all of my stuff save my sword in a chest- which didn't help the warden being mad at me- and decided to try and brute force kill this thing through multiple deaths.
But by the time I had everything situated, the warden had sort of disappeared.
It was still there. It was shooting me with sonic blasts and killing me over and over again. But I couldn't actually see it, so I couldn't kill it.
It was at this point that I decided to log out, get a snack, and come back with a clearer head afterwards.
I don't know if wardens despawn. I don't know if it's going to be there when I come back. But I'm in too deep now, I am going to find the portal room of this Stronghold if I have to kill the Warden with my bare fists to do it!!!!!

There's a lot of things I want to talk about and do now that my energy is back up. Though for the most part I have to get some life stuff in order. So, today I'm starting out on that. Personally I'd like it if the Milgram fandom at least on here could do some fun stuff over the intermission.
Some cool ideas,
Making a bunch of fanart of Es sleeping and dreaming about being on vacation over the intermission as everything is just going wrong behind them. Little guard on break signs.
Fanfics about Es going on break after trial. Little on break short fics. Kind of reminiscent of the Clock Over Orquesta collaboration. Fics about what the prisoners due over the intermission maybe them receiving the things they ordered over the trial. Just little slice of life stuff like that.
Of course, there's the anniversary and other holiday specific fan events that go on here. It just be nice to relax after trial two ends. Like a vacation.
Though before all of that there's some things that I'd like to note about the prison. Particualrly the song extraction.
Yuno notes that the interrogation room changes after the bell rings in her trial one voice drama. The prisoners seem to have adjusted to this fact over the course of the trials.
The room's...changing? With that the interrogation is over. From here, I'll be taking a peek at the mental images produced from your memories.
During Futa's voice drama before the bell rings we hear what is labeled as a mechanical sound. After which he goes-
What?! What's happening?! It's time, I guess. I'll be having a look...at what your justice is. So, this is what'll be extracting songs is it? Hmph. Do what you want!
The same mechanical noise noted in Haruka's first voice drama. The mechanical noise comes before the bell ringing in Shidou's voice drama too.
It's time, huh. So, this is what will be extracting songs, huh. It sure is intriguing. I wonder what mine will be like.
Given that Mu states the same thing as Yuno that the walls start shifting in her voice drama chances are Haruka, Yuno, Futa, and Mu were all not warned this was going to happen before they went in.
Ah! What is this? The walls are moving! What's happening? Times already up? We didn't get to talk much, but... I guess that's okayy. I'll be taking a peek at the inside of your heart now.
Unlike Shidou who seems to have been told beforehand this was going to happen. More than likely by Futa. This is played off as Shidou just being more composed than the others. Hwowever, as we come to see from Kazui's voice drama when he attempts to test out the barrier it's more than likely Futa just told the others what happened within his interrogation.
Simalarly to how Haruka spoke to Yuno after his interrogation. Where he states he felt a hit when the machine started.
20/06/16 Yuno: Hey, Haruka-kun, how was it? The guard put it like “your mental images are gonna be extracted!!” but what was it actually like? Haruka: U-uh…… I’m sorry. I don’t, really remember…… I spoke with the guard, and then a bell rang…… a-and I felt my shoulder get hit…… and then…… N-next thing I realised, time had passed, and it was over…… Yuno: Hmm~ You sure there wasn’t something fun that happened? You were smiling really widely when you came back, weren’t you? ……I’m looking forward to my turn~ Haruka: Ehh……!? ……ah, n-no, I…… n-nothing happened…… hehe.
Mahir's response while different from the others still registers that something strange is happening but she blames it on herself for getting overexcited.
W-what is this? Is it because my love exploded? No, it's the end of the interrogation. For goodness sake... As always, things never go as planned, do they? With you prisoners, I mean. Uh...Um... This is what'll be extracting songs, right? But, I'm not that good at singing, though. You won't necessarily be the one singing. Your mental landscape will present itself in the form of songs and videos- that's all.
This is something Genderqueer-mahiru brought up as tying Milgram and Caligula Effect together. So, it's important to highlight that Es in canon blatantly states that something which occurs within the Caligula Effect universe is also occuring within Milgram. Let's continue/circle back to Kazui.
Kazui's first voice drama displays to us that the prisoners are actually sharing information amongst eachother. At least Futa is explaining Shidou and Mahiru's responses and immediate guess that this was the thing that extracted songs.
He does this from the very beginning by testing out the barrier.
Now then... I wonder how this will turn out. Sorry for the wait prisoner no.07, Kazui. ...Hm? Excuse me. W-what?! Sorry, just let this idot restrain you for a second. E-eh...! Kh...! You...! That's rude! Eagh...! Now, now... I won't hurt you, so don't be afraid... -Huh...? Ghaah! Nn... What's this...? I've suddenly lost my strength...?
When Kazui is just restraining Es he's behavior is allowed. However, after he states he has no intention to hurt Es suddenly his behavior is prohibited. Showcasing how much of a liar Kazui is right off that bat. Because he said that knowing full and well he absolutely did have the intention to hurt Es the only thing which is prohibited. Something he goes into after.
Hmm~ Hey! Are you listening to me, Kazui?! If someone tries to hit you their fist will suddenly stop... From Futa's accounts I had the mental image of an invisible wall. So, I was wondering about what would happen if I tried to restrain you. ... But the moment I tried it, I lost my strength. I wonder why? It was almost like I, myself, became oppossed to attacking you. Hmph, I don't know all the details either. I just know that a prisoner can't attack the guard. I see... Hehaha. But knowing that it's not like a magic barrier reassures me, as an old man. So there is a way to realistically explain it, at least... It might be something similar to hypnosis.
Then when the machine starts this is Kazui's response-
What's this? It's time to end the interrogation. It's a pity- we were just starting to get serious. Haa... What a relief. I've had enough of this.
Pretedning to be surprised but happy all the same for it to be over. I say pretending because we know from Amane's reaction that mostly everyone was told how these interrogations go.
Oh, my. Is it already over? It was a fun time. While we had some minor disagreements you listened to what I had to say. I am very happy about that. ...
Mikoto is an interesting case because he does not respond to the bell since at the time it rings he's apparently not conscious of the situation. It's like this seemingly both trials. I'm not gonna play these games with this man anymore. It's oddly conveninent that he doesn't have a reaction to the room changing both times. Even though he would know exactly how the room fucking looked before and would be waking up to a completely changed environment. Despite that he's rather calm. Even though this was something jarring for other prisoenrs to see happen in real time.
He's jsut here like yeah this might as well fucking happen I guess. He just wakes up in a changed room and just rolls with it. Both times apparently.
Since Kotoko has seen this happen several times already she's rather relaxed about it. The one shocked this time is actually Es.
...! It's time... Oh, well. Then we can leave things as is. All I've wanted to say has already been said anyway.
Again this is interesting because of how greatly it aligns with the Caligula Effect games. As well as telling fans that the song extraction machine is just not within the prison while the guard is asleep and the trials aren't going on. It's more than likley just summoned into the room when needed.
Meaning the prisoners can celebrate the trials being over by going at least we don't have to hear that creepy bell anymore. I'm also surprised none of the prisoners have like seen Jackalope cooking? Or there's not many fanworks about that. Like they all go to the kitchen as well.

Muse (Part 3)
ROTTMNT Leo x GN/Rabbit Yokai!Reader
Warnings: Fluff, Embarrassment, Aged-up Turtles
Synopsis: You've been visiting Run Of The Mill Pizza maybe a little too often just to see the blue clad turtle of your affections and draw him. You're pretty sure he hasn't noticed you at all, bad news for you, he has and he is far too curious about why you watch him.
A/N: I'm not sure how many parts of this I'm going to do, but let's enjoy this story while its still going on, yeah? Honestly I'm just trying not to jump ship to a different Leo x reader story that I'm DESPERATE to write... but I digress!! This is a repost from my old side blog since I wanted to make a main blog for this stuff. Let's get this show on the road.
♡♡♡
The days had gone by pretty quickly, and at this point you had begun wondering if maybe, just maybe you should cave and show Leo your sketchbook, maybe it would be fine… you were a little surprised by his dedication to figuring it out… maybe it would be fine. Okay- yeah. You would show him, just to reward his dedication. The moment you had come to the decision a worry had started to bloom forth in your brain. What if he stopped talking with you entirely after he got what he wanted? As much as you liked to think the two of you had become much closer over the course of four weeks, what if he didn’t actually feel the same way…? What if his kindness was solely to butter you up?
No! No. You were assuming things, letting your fears and anxieties talk you out of your decision. Besides, if all he wanted was to see the sketchbook and he left afterwards, then you didn’t need him in your life… but it would hurt- If it is not meant to be it is not meant to be. It wasn't like you were dating anyway.
You took a few calming breaths, walking along the pathway through the group of street vendors and the crowds that surrounded them. You just needed to get to the one that sold what you were looking for, hand made crystal necklaces. They were nothing special of course, but you had always loved the way they looked and had finally saved up enough for one at your part time job.
When the stall finally came into view you relaxed, squeezing through the last bunch of people with a quiet apology before making your way up to the doberman yokai behind the stall who was currently in the midst of writing in a small black book. You smiled a bit. “Hey, Alden.” You greeted, watching the way he instantly closed his book and folded his hands neatly on his lap, looking up at you with intrigue.
‘Y/n! It’s quite good to see you again,” he insisted, smiling ever so slightly before he began to speak again, “where have you been? I was beginning to miss our daily talks.” He leans forward, book set aside as he rested his elbows on the table, resting his chin on his hands while his docked ears pointed eagerly in your direction. From the sound of it, business hadn’t been great lately.
You smiled in response, chuckling and fidgeting with the strap of your leather satchel. “Well… I’ve been busy, making a new friend-“
“Ah, replacing me.” He shook his head, chuckling to show he was only teasing, his hand over his heart in mock offence.
Instantly rolling your eyes, a smile that reaches your eyes spreads across your face and you relax at how easy and comfortable this is. After all, Alden had been your friend for years, practically since you were both kids. “Oh hush, no one could replace you, drama king.” You hum, eyes flitting over his wares and you swear you see the curiosity bubbling in his chocolate coloured eyes. “So, I was hoping to get a necklace with rose quartz?” You offer, your gaze having lingered on the crystal for a little longer than you’d realized. You hand him the money for it, having become acutely aware of his prices from spending time here constantly.
Alden pauses at that, any teasing comment he was going to say being cut off by a bewildered expression as he tucks the money away. Nevertheless, he lets you pick one of the rose quartz crystals he has on display and then carefully winds some wire around it to make a little pattern and also hold it securely in place before putting it on a black wax cord that has simple metal clasps. “You know…” he begins, already standing to help put the loose choker necklace on you. It still takes you by surprise at how much taller than you he is. “Rose quartz is one of the most sought after love stones.” He murmurs, carefully hooking the necklace on you and adjusting it to sit properly. “It’s meant to build trust, tolerance, and true unconditional love… So who is it then?” He muses, moving to lean against the side of his stall, head tilted.
You feel your face heat up the moment he explains the gem you had chosen. It wasn’t like it was your intent to pick a love stone, you just thought that one was pretty, you had felt drawn to it! “Oh- I- um…” You feel your phone buzz and swallow thickly, having a pretty certain idea of just who that might be, eyes darting down to the pocket of your denim jacket before meeting Alden’s unintentionally intense gaze. “Just… some guy I met… He’s- he’s really sweet… and funny-“
He holds up his two toned black and tan hands in a placating gesture and grins at you for a second, before moving back behind his stall and digging through his collection of rings, murmuring to himself. Soon enough he comes back around the stall and takes one of your hands, sliding the silver ring into your hand. “Green aventurine. For luck- in love and life in general.” He lightly taps the perfectly glossy and rounded gem in the centre of the intricately designed olive branch shaped band.
“How much is-“
“Free. You’re my best friend, dumdum. I’m giving you this for free.” He hums, huffing in surprise when you quickly hug him tight around his torso, burying your face in the soft fabric of his v-neck black sweatshirt. Alden can’t help but smile, holding you close, one of his hands resting on the back of your head, softly rubbing his thumb between your ears, earning a soft purr from you.
You pull away after a moment and look up at him fondly, already easing the beautiful ring onto your your thumb. “You’re the best, you know that, right?” You inquire, pausing when your phone buzzes again. You don’t want to be rude though, so you don’t answer it just yet.
Waving you off dismissively, Alden just offers you a simple smile, gaze gentle as he pats you on the shoulder and then moves to sit in his chair once more, putting his feet up on the small milk crate you know is behind there so he can sit bunched up. “I think someone is trying to get your attention.” He hums, flicking one of his ears in the direction of something behind you, a bemused smirk finding its way to his face showing that he has a feeling on who it is.
You glance in the direction he had gestured in and pause at the sight of Leo weaving through the crowd and attempting to get your attention by furiously waving his hands. Growing slightly flustered before glancing back to Alden, you move to speak, but soon a new customer grabs his attention and you’re left with the knowledge that your best friend is 100% able to tease you about your crush.
Shaking your thoughts aside, you turn smoothly and wander over to one of the silk scarf stands where Leo is squirming through the crowd. You begin wondering why he didn’t just portal over to you, fully aware of his special skill since he had used it countless times to startle the hell out of you and try and get the drop on you. Shaking your head, you move to carefully guide him through an opening you had spotted. “Now why would a turtle with portalling abilities not use said skill to get out of that mess? You inquire, tone lighthearted and teasing.
Rolling his eyes, Leo offers you a cheeky smile, nudging you playfully. “I wanted to go it the old fashioned way.” He shrugs. You can’t help but notice the way he is glancing behind you in the direction of Alden’s stand. Before you can comment on that, he quickly brings it up for you, “so who was that? Your boyfriend?” He casually asks, starting to walk with you to look at some of the other stalls clearly not as familiar with the wares as you are.
“Oh, he’s just an old friend of mine. We’ve known each other since we were really little. More like a brother, really.” You offer, not at all missing how he seems to relax ever so slightly at that… but, that can’t be right. No. You imagined that. Why would he be tense about the possibility of you having a boyfriend? Because he wasn’t, obviously.
Leo nods to himself. “Cool, cool, cool-“ he began, pausing after a minute or so and then gesturing at your new necklace. “That’s new- pretty. It matches your nose!” He muses, referring to the pink splotch on your otherwise dark brown nose- one of the small things that normally made you a little self conscious about your looks. He seemed quite pleased with that realization, glancing into one of the stalls with intrigue.
You sit there for a moment, dumbfounded and gently kicking a rock off of the dirt path as he looks at the sweets, but you quickly shake yourself out of the flustered state you had begun to enter, carefully fiddling with one of your ears by softly brushing your hands over it. “Oh-! Um… thank you.” You murmur, noting the amused smile he offers at how flustered you got. “I recommend the meringues.” You offer quietly. “The ones Donna make taste exactly like roasted marshmallows.”
The idea of that alone seems enough for him and he quickly purchases two of them, not missing how the woman behind the stand seems to look between you both with intrigue, thought the familiarity towards you is what intrigues him most. As you’re walking away, he takes one of the pale gold sweets out of the small parchment bag and gestures the other one to you. “I got you one.” He offers lightheartedly. “Mm, also! Do you know everyone who works here or something?” He inquired, already taking a careful bite out of his meringue after he had assured himself that you’d taken yours.
Shrugging and guiding him over to a bench, you easily sit down, looking over the sweet with a bit of a far away stare. “Well, yeah. I do know everyone that works here. I used to spend all my time in this place, people watching.” You admit, noting how Leo has already finished his dessert while you hadn’t even started yet, quickly making work of it since it was only small anyway.
The slider quirks a brow, nodding to himself and sitting in deep thought, leaning himself against the back of the bench and even resting his arms on it in a very open gesture that has your face heating slightly, after all, in the movies you’d seen that was normally always a way the male love interest would wrap his arm around his love interest. “Huh. So why did you stop coming here as often?” Leo asks, glancing at you curiously.
You shrug again, not exactly wanting to admit to him that he was the reason. “I got curious about Run Of The Mill and discovered I really like their pizza.” And by pizza, you totally meant Leo. Sorry Hueso.
He nods in understanding, drumming his fingers on the backing part of the bench behind you for a moment before he notices you fidgeting with your bag a bit. “You okay, Y/n?” He inquired, soft concern lacing his usually confident voice.
You swallow thickly, not looking at him as you remove /the/ book from your bag and hold it out to him. It’s only when it has been a few minutes of just holding it there that you turn to look up at him, almost confused by his own confusion. “You can look in it-“ you urge quietly, nearly entirely loosing your nerve, especially when his gaze leaves the book and he instead completely locks eyes with you and shakes his head.
“Nah. I don’t think it’s time.”
“What…?”
Leo smiles slightly, standing up and widely stretching. “You’re giving in because of how much I bug you about it- probably telling yourself you’re giving me it to see as reward for how dedicated I am to my cause- or something like that.” He chuckles at that, not looking back at you just yet, not until he starts speaking again. “I want you to give me the book to look through when you actually feel comfortable doing it. I don’t want you to force yourself just to make me happy.” There’s a sincerity to his words that has your heart lodging itself in your throat and thrumming so loudly you can hardly hear it as he offers you a simple, “bye, little rabbit.” With a flashy wink and smile before swiping his sword through the air and disappearing into the bright blue portal before you can say anything.
Your hand that was holding the book goes slack and the object falls to the ground with a soft thud as you simply stare at where the portal was. That was new. You had thought Leo would jump at the chance to finally sate his curiosity, but apparently you had misjudged him.. expected the wrong outcome. Part of you wondered why he had denied himself, but you do know that you appreciate how he wants you to give him the right when you’re actually ready and not just “giving in” like he had said.
Boy… you were down bad.

"Waaahhh!!! but the freedom fighters have legacy!!! Uuwaaaahh!"
What legacy??? The Freedom fighters have had zero impact on anything in the franchise, and the general public doesn't even know they exist. The only people who care about the freedom fighters are archie simps.
Also, it's funny how they keep claiming the games "need" the freedom fighters when the series has been moving along just fine without them. The freedom fighters did not "carry the franchise" during series low points. The games simply got back up and fixed themselves.
No one says this kind of crap for any other spin-off character. Satam/archie Dickriders are just in denial because they can't accept that their favorite spin-offs are never gonna come back or be relevant in any way whatsoever
Also, satam and archie just aren't good or worth any attention. This is something they simply can't comprehend
"But archie and satam had better storytelling"
Something only a delusional person would say. Archie/satam's stories ranged from boring and forgettable to extremely infuriating. Anyone who says otherwise is in denial.
Not to mention that when you keep overhyping something to people, all while trashing what they like, you're inevitably going to turn them away instead of tickle their intrigue.
You could say I'm biased since I already had an apathetic opinion on the Freedom Fighters, but after seeing them get hyped up this much post-Archie's cancellation, and ESPECIALLY after the mess that was Rally4Sally, you really do start to wonder what the hell people are seeing in them in order to claim the franchise is nothing without them. Upon looking back at Archie for myself to refresh my memory beyond the common knowledge stuff (ie: the infamous slap), all it ended up doing was remind me of all their shittier moments, and a whole bunch of underwhelming blandness. Hardly what I'd expect from these supposedly perfect, S-tier, better-than-the-games characters.

Dear Sephiroth: (a letter to a fictional character, because why not) #352
I went to bed entirely too late last night. I wanna say I was up until after 4 in the morning. And then my body decided that 8:30ish in the morning was the time to wake up. I was a little disappointed.
I was supposed to go to my friend BB's house to help her get stuff done. But today is cold and windy and we're supposed to get snow squalls on and off throughout the day. She and I both figured that it's safest if I stay home. I will go see her next Wednesday, assuming we don't have additional inconvenient winter weather.
The result is that I have unexpected free time on my hands. I'm not actually sure what to do with myself, admittedly.
Well. I did wash all the dishes from yesterday's brownie and tiramisu tea adventure. The sink is now mostly clear of dishes, and that always feels nice. I decided to make myself a breakfast after that! I decided to cut some slices from the epic awesome bread that Tr made for me, and then I toasted them in the oven for like 10 minutes! And then I put stuff on them!!
This is tzatziki sauce, black truffle butter, cream cheese, and mascarpone cheese! And all of these were very good!
I also made a bowl with cheese, salami, and roast beef! And there's some grapefruit in there, too!
I wonder if you like grapefruit. Say, does your world even have grapefruit? I know there's a bunch of stuff that your world has that mine doesn't have, like Banora White Apples, and lots of the greens and fruits common to raising chocobos. So I wonder... maybe there are some things here where I live that you don't have over where you live.
Well. Grapefruits are kind of inconsistent. Sometimes they're sweet and juicy and wonderful! But then... sometimes they taste kinda like stomach acid. You're more likely to get a good grapefruit when they're in season, but you don't really know what you're gonna get until you peel it and try it. It's a little sad like that. But this is true of a lot of fruits, I think. Sometimes, for example, a strawberry is sweet, but sometimes it's rather tart. You don't know until you bite into it.
...Suppose it's why I don't eat as much fruit as J would like me to. I find the uncertainty of it to be rather stressful.
The grapefruit today was sweet and delicious, though! It was so nice that I gave J a few slices so he could enjoy it, too! I wonder if you would have enjoyed it if I had given you a few slices of this grapefruit, too...
Hey, Sephiroth? Do you have a favorite fruit? I wonder. Mine is probably either pineapple or carambola. Or maybe plantains, too. Plantains are kinda like bananas, but they have a richer and more complex flavor. Ripe ones are amazing, baked in the oven with a little butter, cinnamon, and sugar...!!
...Maybe if I can find ones in the grocery that look good, I'll make some for you. Come to think of it... I wonder if pumpkin-plantain bread is a thing that can be made... Hmmm...
Well. I finished up the rest of the tiramisu tea today, too. When I pulled it out of the fridge, it settled out into layers, with the cocoa and vanilla seeds settling to the bottom, and the creamier ingredients floating on top:
It's easy enough to mix the ingredients back together if I shake the jar! And, as predicted, the stuff is just as tasty chilled as it is hot!
...I wish you could try some...
It is cold and windy and cloudy and sleepy today. I don't expect to do much. Though, since O visited the house, I'm feeling a little inspired to play a game called Hades. It's about a Greek god called Zagreus who comes out from under the thumb of his father, Hades. There's a lot of nuance and intrigue to it, I think. It's been forever since last I've played it, so I'm probably not any good at it anymore. But maybe I'll do it anyway. I'll do it over here, just in case you wanna hang out:
twitch_live
Suppose I'll leave it here for now. I might be a bit too tired to have too much going through my head today, haha...
Hey, Sephiroth? You're pretty cool, you know that? Not for all the stuff you can do, but... because of the warmth and kindness with which you treat other people. You're the inspiration for me to be who I am today, despite everything. I'm sure lots of very kind people in my world feel the same. I hope you can look towards this as proof that you're a good thing.
I love you. And I'll write again tomorrow, okay? So please stay safe.
Your friend, Lumine

Alright, let's go in order...
I'm intrigued by what Doomsday could be. I'm still not a fan of the fact that they chose RDJ for Doctor Doom when an Romani actor would be much more appropriate. Still, I think SOME kind of good story can come out of it if treated right. It's just a matter of waiting and seeing.
Secret Wars...should NOT be a movie. I tried reading the event comic, and it's way too interesting of a concept to make up a movie. The BOLD choice would be for it to take up a whole saga, showing each section of Doom's land before taking him on in a final battle with all these Avenger variants. That could be exciting, but it's likely what we WON'T see, instead favoring a quick movie showing off small bits of the land as a group of Avengers fight through it. Which would be fun, but a missed potential for what Secret Wars is.
I'm STILL intrigued by what Fantastic Four: First Steps could be. I've seen the first look, and I think this is the right direction to take these characters in and it could be the most unique movie the MCU has ever made...Just PLEASE delay it so you can let it cook. You don't NEED this to compete with James Gunn's Superman, a movie that's already wrapped up on filming and going into post production while this movie just started filming days ago. Give the Fantastic Four the time they need to be good because the world doesn't need a FOURTH bad Fantastic Four movie.
Spider-Man 4 NEEDS to be good. No Way Home had such a great ending that if you really NEED to continue things after that, the film needs to justify its existence with a worthy script that carries the emotional weight that the last movie left on. PLEASE don't undo everything Peter did right away. Let the consequences STICK and give him his happy ending in another movie.
Still not watching Captain America: Brave New World. I don't care how interesting it looks, I'm sticking to my morals on this one. Maybe I'll watch it through special means one day, but that's about it.
I'm hopeful for Shang-Chi 2. I'm one of the few who actually LOVED the first movie and I really want to see this character again. It's just a shame that he got sidelined for a whole bunch of other new characters that the MCU hasn't done ANYTHING with either.
I'm not going to be the asshole who'll go, "Who ASKED for a Wonder Man show?" If we started asking questions like that, we wouldn't HAVE the MCU. No one was begging for an Iron Man movie in 2008, and it was still the biggest spark that launched a dozen projects despite no one really wanting it. HOWEVER, I'm going to instead be that asshole who points out that the MCU kind of lost faith in introducing new characters because of how faulty of a job they've been doing. I WANT to be excited, but I can't be anymore. Especially since I'm not really a Wonder Man fan. He's so...not interesting.
The production hell Blade has gone through and continues to go through, it'll take a fucking MIRACLE for this movie to not only come out but to be GOOD.
I'm curious of what Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man could be at this point. At first it was meant to be the origin story behind MCU Peter Parker, but now it's become more it's own thing as a semi-original series and I'm curious to see what comes of it. I'm always keeping my eye out for Spider-Man stuff, as a loyal fan would, but I'm gonna need to see more of a trailer to determine if it'll be good.
Still do not have high hopes for Thunderbolts.
STILL on my hands and knees PRAYING for Daredevil: Born Again to be good! PLEASE LET IT BE GOOD!
Ironheart...Still trying to think of a way Ironheart could be good...
Armor Wars COULD be fun. I THINK they're making it a movie instead of a series, which I'm for. Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Secret Invasion didn't really NEED to be stretched out into a mini-series when making a movie might have worked better in their favor by cutting out the fluff and making things go by a lot faster. And this is from a guy who LIKES Falcon and the Winter Soldier...Secret Invasion however can go to hell. And I REALLY hope that Armor Wars doesn't confirm that War Machine has been a Skrull since Civil War. That's NOT A GOOD IDEA!
I like the idea behind Marvel Zombies, I'm intrigued by what an TV-MA animated mini-series of survivors surviving a superhero zombie apocalypse can be. Just...maybe cut out the jokes that took up too much time in the What If episode.
Not sure what Eyes of Wakanda could be, but I'm not complaining yet. Always interested in Wakanda stuff.
Saw the trailer for Agatha All Along, and, son of a bitch, it might just be good. IF DONE RIGHT. That's an important distinction. This show could be good if done RIGHT. We'll just have to wait and see.
I'm excited for What If Season Three because I still really like What If. It's my favorite dumb fun show. I don't WANT it to be the last season because...that's a show with endless possibilities. Don't limit it to three seasons when you could go on for, like, eight before things get stale. Just PLEASE keep it going.
Okoye...Is she getting a series or a movie. I hope it's a movie because WHAT could Okoye do that justifies her having a TV show?
Not sure what Sidewinder is but...maybe it'll be good? Honestly, it depends on...whatever the fuck it is. What is it?!
I'm EXCITED for X-Men Season Two! LOVED the first season and I can't wait for more! Season Three is where I get a little wary because that's the season where the showrunner of What If takes the reigns because the last guy got fired for...reasons. And as much as I like What If...X-Men 97 is TEN TIMES better, being the best X-Men content fans got in YEARS (if you ignore the comics). If you're going to replace the showrunner, you need someone who can match their talent.
I'm not sure what the live-action Wakanda series could be and how that's different from Eyes of Wakanda...but I want it to be good. MAKE IT GOOD!
Hey! We're finally getting an answer to what the fuck Vision has been up to since WandaVision. That only took...way too long.
Nova. Nova, Nova, Nova...What could they even do with Nova at this point?
And I'm grateful for getting a Marvel Special Presentation. They're short and fun and easy to get into. A lot more than I can say about other shows on Disney+
And that's everything...I'm barely excited for ANY of this. I'm cautiously optimistic about a lot of projects here and vaguely curious about some of them all while BEGGING for each project to be good. I WANT them to be good. I want the MCU to IMPROVE instead of continuing on its decline since Endgame. Just PLEASE let it improve, that's all I'm asking for.

20 questions for fic writers
Tagged by @luthien-under-bough, thank you! I love talking about fics and the process of how I write them, so this was fun to put together :)
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
28
2. What’s your total AO3 word count?
459,900
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Now exclusively House of the Dragon, specifically Daemyra
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
High Hopes
Let's Ignite Under the Ember Skies
You're Ripped at Every Edge (But You're a Masterpiece)
If I Could, I'd Get You the Moon
The Dominoes Cascaded in a Line
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
Yes, I try to always respond, even if the comment is to an older fic. Sometimes I'm overwhelmed or don't even know what to say when someone's being way too kind to me lol, but I always want to let people know I see them and appreciate them so much.
The only time I don't... is when I see someone's binging my whole fic, so then I only respond to the last comment, once they're all caught up.
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
This is easy, as I only have one fic without a happy ending - All and Then Most of You, Some and Now None of You. I love daemyra too much to not give them HEA as much as possible
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
This is hard to pick... Because all of my fics, apart from that one, end teeth rootingly sweet 😂 Perhaps Dominoes. Or perhaps fighter!au, which you guys haven't read yet but it's very fucking happy!
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Sometimes. Though it is much much better now that I disabled anon asks.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
I do! What kind I write... Hmm, tbf I think I write pretty vanilla stuff, even if I do try to explore some kinks here and there when it fits the story and the characters. I guess my kind is focusing on the feelings most of the time, and the emotional connection.
10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?
I don't, or at least I haven't yet. We'll see if muse ever strikes this way!
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not that I know of, so hopefully not
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
A few times in a different fandom
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
No, not yet, but I'm definitely open to the idea. I definitely wrote a bunch of stuff based on my fandom friends' crazy ideas and prompts with their help, so that's halfway there, I guess
14. What’s your all-time favorite ship?
No couple had ever taken over my life and thoughts the way Daemyra did, so, the answer is clear!
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Soulmates AU? I was once so excited for it, wrote a bunch of notes and even the first two chapters, but now I'm kinda... not feeling it :(
16. What are your writing strengths?
I spent the longest on this question. I think it's the emotions I try to convey in my fics, good or bad.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Now this is much easier. Plot! Intrigue! If you guys haven't noticed yet lol, I write fics heavily focused on romance only, and the development of Daemyra's relationship, because I just can't pull off anything more than that.
I'll probably never write a fic where people will wonder what'll happen next, what that and this means, what this person's motivations are... Because I'm unfortunately not wired that way. But I learned to accept that, and I have fun writing my silly romances with no real plot <3
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
I've done it myself a few times and I like to see it in other fics, too. Especially in HV it's delicious to see in the canon-verse. Though I always struggle with how to write the translation - right next to it, in cursive, in brackets, in the final notes?? That's always a head scratcher
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Eh, probably Twilight? I don't remember writing anything before that, so must be it
20. Favorite fic you’ve written?
Probably still High Hopes, even after all this time 🤍
This was fun! I'm tagging some of my writer friends if they wanna join and haven't yet, @ar-feyniel, @eschercaine, @calenlily, @fiora-miriel and anyone else who wants to! :)

One more secret won't hurt / Bunny x reader
Part 1 Part 2
------------------------------------------------------------------
Chapter 3: Gossip sessions can be very productive
I reach my dorm and walk directly to my room, trying to avoid anyone in the hallways. Once inside, I close the door and drop all my stuff on the desk. I reach into my minifridge and grab a leftover sandwich, then drop onto my bed to eat it, staring quietly at the ceiling. I am usually much more productive than this. None of my assignments have ever been turned in late. How could I let something so lame as a group of dorks derail my Saturday like this?
'Not the group of dorks, just the one guy' says a tiny voice in my brain. I shake my head, as if to make the voice physically go away.
Is it right, though? The guy did seem interesting and all, but enough to make my brain this useless? If I wasn't so self-conscious, maybe I would've walked over to the group and talked to them, take the mystery away, then I might be able to focus on my homework. Maybe a nap will help clear my head. Yes, a nap. Good idea.
To make the image of the dorks go away.
And the guy, of course.
The loud guy.
I finish my sandwich, throw the wrapper at the garbage can next to my bedside table, and miss epically. I close my eyes and try to think of anything else, hoping I will fall asleep soon. It's quite early, though, and I'm not very sleepy. I've always had a tough time sleeping during the day. I toss and turn, get under the covers, and quickly climb back out. I swear I can still hear the words in the strange language floating around in my head.
I wish I knew what they mean.
Or how to spell them so I could look in a dictionary for them.
Or even just know what language it is.
There is something so intriguing about how it sounds. Is that it? Or is it intriguing because it came out of his mouth? I wonder what his name is. If I wasn't such a coward, I could've asked him.
I'm wrestling with my thoughts when a loud knock on my door gets me out of my trance. I’m grateful for this merciful distraction from that spiral I was slowly falling into. “Coming!” I yell. I walk to the door, trying to smooth my hair down with my fingers after tossing in bed for half an hour. I open the door and I’m greeted by Judy’s bright smile. “Hey, girlie!” she says, quickly stepping into my room and throwing herself into my bed with a sigh. “Ugh, I’m exhausted!” Exhausted came out more like a grunt than an actual word. “Do you have any idea how many costumes I sewed today? Way too fucking many. Is it too early to bring out the wine?” she looks up at me from the bed.
-“Nah, it’s 5 p.m. somewhere!” I say, opening the minifridge, and reaching for one of the bottles. I take a seat on my desk chair and roll it closer to the bed.
- “Girl, you okay? Cuz, you look like you really need that wine.” She sits up and reaches for the glass I’m holding out to her.
- “Ugh, don’t even get me started. I was supposed to do a bunch of work today and did exactly zero percent of it.” I take a sip of my cheap wine. “I was actually hoping I could ask you about something I saw today?”
- “Of course! Shoot.” She leans forward, as if indicating I have her full attention, and looks at me expectantly while taking a big swig of wine.
- “Aight, so. I was in the library, and there was this group, I’ve seen them around before, but never so up close. They’re kind of weird, dressed kind of old fashioned, speaking in a weird language… ring any bells?”
- “Ah. I see you met the Greek class” she says, rolling her eyes dramatically. What else can you expect from a theater major…
Greek. I knew it had to be that or Latin. I nod at her, urging her to go on, provide more info.
- “Yeah, they’re very particular. They’re Classics majors, so they only take classes with one professor, I don’t think you’ve ever seen him cuz he’s just as weird as them, a complete hermit. His name is Julian, I think.” She squints her eyes, and bites hard on her bottom lip in that particular way, like she’s digging around in her brain for the correct info. “Anyways,” she shakes her head, coming back to reality, “what about ‘em? Did they say anything to you?” Her voice turning an octave lower at the end, the international Judy signal for ‘spill the tea!’
- “Oh, no, nothing like that. They were a few tables away from me, working on something in what I now know was Greek. They were just so mysterious, and I just can’t stop thinking about one of them.” I realize my mistake a second too late and see the smirk already forming on Judy’s lips.
- “Oooooooooooo someone has her very first Hampden cruuuush,” she says in that annoying sing-song voice she uses to tease me. It’s like I can physically see the goblin energy flowing through her body. “And on one of the Greek weirdos, damn Y/N, that’s bold. But honestly, you’re kind of weird too, so that makes sense,” she says, matter-of-factly. I should be used to her teasing by now, but I still feel the blood rushing to my cheeks, and I groan.
- “C’mon, Judes! It’s not like that. I’ve just never heard Greek before. It caught me off guard, I guess.” I finished my wine in one big gulp and poured myself another glass.
- “Right, right,” she says, rolling her eyes again, “quit being a wet rag and go back to the boy. Was he hot?” her eyes grow huge as she waits for my answer.
- “I mean, yeah, I guess?” I close my eyes, trying to picture his face again. Yeah, I would consider him good looking. I give Judy a nod.
- “Well, don’t get any ideas. As far as I know, Francis is very gay. Like. Gay as fuck,” the last bit comes out barely above a whisper. I’m not sure why this information disappoints me, it’s not like Judy was right about the crush. “I get you, though. His hair is to die for! I wish I were a natural redhead too. My mom always said that-”
- “Wait, redhead?” I interrupt her rant. “No, I did not mean the redhead.”
- “Oh, shit. Sorry! I mean, he’s the hottest one so I assumed you meant him. My bad. I’m guessing you mean Henry then, and he is kind of handsome I guess, but dude, he is so weird. Not just weird, he’s mean. It’s like, I don’t know, like he thinks he’s better than everyone else? That one really needs to pull his head out of his own ass, and out of that weirdo professor’s ass.” She’s ranting so passionately about this Henry that I can only assume she’s had a really bad experience with him in the past.
- “Judes, slow down. Which one is Henry?” I ask, already suspecting she’s got the wrong one in mind. What she’s describing definitely does not match the vibes I got from the guy. The wine bottle is half empty already, but I still pour us both another glass.
- “Tall one, dark hair, looks like he has a stick up his ass,” her hands are moving a bit more clumsily than usual, she’s tipsy already. For someone who drinks so constantly, she’s such a lightweight.
- “Yeah, no. Again, that’s not the one I meant. I was talking about the blond one, with the-” my words are drowned out by Judy’s screech as she jumps up, her hands holding onto my shoulders as she lightly shook me.
- “Oh! Oh! Charles! You mean Charles! Dude, you have terrible taste, like, honestly. I mean, they’re all pretty weird already, but add the freaky twin thing into it... And don’t get me started on the girl twin, that bitch is legit crazy. Camilla. She came close to clawing my eyes out at a party one time. Swear to god. I was just minding my own business, spilled a little bit of beer on her by accident. I can be very clumsy, you know.” I swear she is doing it on purpose. I let her continue her rant, sipping my wine patiently. “That huge weirdo, Henry, was standing between us in a second. He looked ready to beat me up. Now she gives me the stink eye every time she sees me. And so does her twin. They are freakishly close, those two. Did you notice they dress the same? I swear she just wears his clothes half the time. I tell you; you don’t want to get involved in that twin mess. No sir.”
- “You done, babes?” I ask her, raising an eyebrow. Once she nods, I continue. “As I was saying, I meant the blond guy with glasses. Not Charles.” Her face contorts in a weird way, like what I said makes absolutely no sense. Realization creeps into her features, slowly at first and then all at once. She looks at me like I just grew a second head.
- “You can’t possibly mean Bunny? Let’s see, was he being the loudest thing in a 10-mile radius?” I nod. That’s a bit of an exaggeration, but he was kind of loud for a library. “Yup, that’s Bunny.”
- “Bunny…” I whisper, the name feels funny on my lips. “What kind of name is that?” I ask, eyeing her suspiciously, thinking she might just be pulling my leg.
- “His name’s actually Edmund Corcoran, but everyone calls him Bunny for some reason. No idea why. But dude, he’s like, I don’t know. He’s the most down to earth one out of the bunch, but he’s also the most annoying one. I mean, you saw him.” She chuckles and spills a bit of wine on my bed. I don’t think she even noticed. “I’ve seen him around at some parties. He’s nice, but again, quite annoying. Plus, he hangs out with the other ones, so, my advice is: stay the fuck away, girl.”
- “Yeah, well, I was just curious. It’s not like I was planning on speaking to any of em. You know I’m shy with strangers.” She squints her eyes at me, clearly not believing any of my bullshit.
- “Well, I’m just glad you were not talking about Richard, cuz that one’s mine,” she throws her head back and laughs. “Fellow Californian, he switched his major to classics recently, he’s pretty cool. Hope they don’t turn him into a pretentious ass before I can fuck him.” I love Judy, she knows what she wants and doesn’t fuck around. I wish I could be more like her in that sense. “But really, this Bunny guy…”
I quickly try to change the subject, hoping she’s kind enough to just drop it. “So, what play are all of those costumes for?” She rolls her eyes, but immediately yields, and starts telling me all about their latest production of some Oscar Wilde play.
I pay as much attention as I can, asking a few questions, laughing at her little jokes, trying to follow her stories about disastrous stage mishaps, but part of my mind is somewhere else, wondering how hard it could be to learn Greek. Imagining the delicious feeling of those sounds, rolling off my tongue. And Bunny. Mysterious Bunny. His thunderous laugh disturbing the quietest corners of my psyche.

I've been such a fan of your work and I'm so so so excited your requests are open again! And that you write OM, too! I'm honestly torn on what to request because Hitoya is my lawyer husband (I have a commission done of him and my OC Nana) but Beel is my himbo husband.
Well, I'll let you pick. Something fluffy and NSFW would be lovely. After reader/OC had a long day and they pamper her? 💕🙏 I look forward to it and I hope you have fun with the next bunch of drafts!
Hitoya pamper his fem! s/o after a long day
ahhh hiii sweeeeetiiiie!!! thank you very much for your kind words, it warms my soul..! ^^ here, I hope you will enjoy this one work too!
femreader, fluff, fingering (receiving), sex in bath;; 2553 words;;
NSFW UNDER THE CUT
;MINORS DNI;
Ah.. such a hard, long day, indeed. You almost can't feel your own legs as you walk home, loud thrumming in your ears makes your head empty and aching, and all you can't concrete in was a good hot bath and cuddles with your husband, while you two bending each other's ears, complaining about your stupid jobs.
The door of your house crack as you get in, surprised to see lights being on. Can't it be..?
"Welcome home.." - Hitoya, your husband, walks in the corridor to meet you, already in home clothes and a cup of coffee in his arm.
"Good evening.." - A deep sigh breaks from your lips as you take off your jacket and get closer to him with a small chuckle. - "I'm the one who's late today, am I? When was the last time you got home earlier than me? It's so unusual.."
"I don't remember myself." - he chuckled too, cupping your cheek with his hand. Ah, such contrasts between his warm skin and your cold from street one makes shiver run down your neck. - "Have a rough day today?"
That's why you love him. Because, despite his grumpy cold demeanor, Hitoya always was so attentive to your needs, reading you like an open book even when you tried to hide some of your emotions. His gray eyes were serious but gentle, as he looked at your face with understanding in his pale gaze. And you can't help but freeze for a moment, mesmerized by his beauty - his ash brown hair was already uncoiled, framing his pale, tired face with messy locks. These light wrinkles and dark circles just gave him an air of consummate elegance, making your husband even more charming in your eyes. And of course he noticed your fascinated face too.
"Hey, you hear me?" - Hitoya smirks and pinch your cheek, bringing you back from the clouds to earth. - "Come on, it's cold here, let's get in the kitchen, I have something to show you.."
"Ahh, wait, I can't even walk normally, I'm so drained.." - you sigh a little, knowing damn well he would never get annoyed with you and your small tantrums.
But when you change into your comfy home clothes too and walk in the kitchen, you get silent, greeted with a bunch of dishes on the table, still warm and juicy, and the smell was so delicious.. You turn to look at your husband just to see his proud smirk.
"When I got home and didn't find you I thought to order some delivery.. Yet then I thought that I didn't spoil you for a really long time, didn't I?"
"Ah, Hitoya.. How sweet you can be sometimes.." - you mumble with a small smile, quickly sitting at the table, as your mouth is already watering from all these delicious meals.. Oh, he even cooks your favorite food, along with his favorite ham and cheese casserole.
"Stop with this lovey-dovey stuff.." - as usual, he scoffs, acting tough towards any softness, yet smirks after. - "At least leave it all for later, as I have more plans for our evening tonight.."
"Oh? You know how to intrigue.." - you can't help but giggle a little, wondering what exactly your husband hides behind this grin.
"And you don't know how to not fall under my intrigues, aren't you?" - now this smirk got even wider as he sat in front of you. - "So be a good girl and enjoy my treatment today..
♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡
Hitoya knows how to cook, and how to cook well, enjoying his hard work with you. Small talks quickly relax your mind and your body as you listen to his day and then venting about yours. Such a good, peaceful evening together, you adore this side of your husband so much, as he gets softer, not ashamed to tell what annoys him today at work or even makes him sad. And, of course, listening to your problems with such attention and care, giving your small advice or just cursing your stupid boss together with you.
"Mm.. that was wonderful.." - you sigh happily, leaning back on your chair with a pleasant smile. You eat so good yet you don't have this pressure in your stomach that you're full, just perfect.
The same smile plays on Hitoya's lips too as he quickly cleans the table, shushing you when you try to help him. You can't help but chuckle, as it was kinda amusing - the way he showed his love with a mix of light sullenness sometimes.
Well, as he tells you to not worry about dishes, you walk in the living room, slumped into the couch with a small yawn. You don't even know what feels better - the delicious dinner itself or the fact that your dearest husband makes it just for you, probably being no less tired than you are. And now even taking care of all dirty plates too, while you luxuriate among soft pillows.
"Mm? You didn't fall asleep?" - his sudden voice behind your back makes you jump a little and then you giggle:
"How can I? I remember your words about something more.." - you murmur as Hitoya places his hand on your head, messing with your hairstyle.
"Oh yes.. Sit here for a little bit more, okay?" - he leans closer and kisses your forehead, before leaving you again. What kind of surprise did he prepare for you? You didn't know, yet also didn't mind waiting a little, resting in the softness of the couch, kinda understanding why he was surprised you didn't fall asleep - it was hard not to..
It didn't take long as your husband got back with a smile and bent over the back of the couch, tickling your shoulder. Soft giggle bursts from you as you get up, grasping his hand and pulling Hitoya closer into a quick but playful kiss.
"Come on, don't make me wait for too long.." - your whisper tickles his lips and he can't help but chuckle too, admiring this excitement in your eyes and the way you bite your lips, inpatient:
"Of course, darling. Everything is almost ready so let's go.." - he takes your hand and leads you through the corridor to the bathroom, and you don't believe your eyes - is this really your bath?!
In the dark, lit only by small candles, it looks like some magic room from fairytales, and the sweet citrus smell of an oil along with the airy clouds of a bubble bath makes it even better, as you can't look away, shocked.
"What? Was it worth the wait?" - A low whisper tickles your ear as Hitoya gets closer, hugging you from behind. As you turn back to face him, first that you notice was his playful smile, he was clearly amused by your reaction..
"Dear.. When did you manage to do this?" - your voice dropped to a whisper too, your hands run from his shoulders down his arms as you hug him back. You both lean closer to each other, touching noses and looking in eyes.
"Mm.. While cooking, another thought crossed my mind.." - his words tickle your skin, and the light feeling of his lips touching yours drive your mind to another dimension, makes you wonder how far care of your husband will go today. - "I thought that for the last few weeks we didn't get enough time to pay proper attention to each other, don't you think?"
With these words Hitoya just pushes your fantasies even further, as playful lips to lips tickles turn into a more deep and passionate kiss this time. Hands on your waist get more ardent too, reaching blindly down and playing with your shirttail. You both probably could just keep things like that but he suddenly pulled away, only a thread of saliva connected your lips now.
"We don't want to get too carried away, okay? Let's take things nice and slow today, I want to prolong it as much as we can.." - Hitoya whispers and steps back, throwing away his shirt and of course you don't need any requests to repeat after him, also undressing yourself slowly, revealing more of your skin to your husband and enjoying his gaze that didn't leave your body even for a second. As much as your eyes kept roaming around his figure, in this mesmerizing semi darkness muscles of his shoulders and chest looked so smooth and enormously prominent, making you forget about everything around once again.
"I just told you to not get too carried away, baby.." - his low chuckle along with a slap on your ass wakes you up, pulling a little gasp from your chest. Hitoya smirks and gets into the bath first before extending a hand to you.
"Sorry.. It's kinda hard when you look at me like that.." - you bite your lip, meeting his gaze, these always pale gray eyes get so dark now, only small reflections of candle's light sparkle in this depth of lust.
Water was warm enough to make shivers run through your body, but not too hot to melt you right in place and raise your blood pressure to the point your minds get dizzy. There's other things that will bring you to this point..
You leaned back, pressing yourself to the wet and soft chest of your lover with a trembling sigh, relaxing your muscles. Despite all you can think right now was this intimacy between his body and yours, you have to admit the bath itself was also really good - unctuous water on your skin feels so nice, and smell of oil along with faint gleam of candles' light on water surface gets you in some romantical, sensitive mood.
"So my gaze was enough for you?" - the way his whisper tickles the nape of your neck makes another small sigh escape your lips. - "How cute.."
Oh of course, what would Hitoya do without his favorite teases? Even in such a smooth atmosphere he wanted to play with you a little, wanting to know how you would react to something more than gaze, maybe for some touch..? As his hands quickly wrapped around your waist for a few moments, holding you suffocatingly close to him, to the point where your ass pressed against his half hard dick. Your mewl makes the corner of his lips lift even more as Hitoya gets more bold, moving to your thighs and squeezes it under water.
Oh, how amusing it is, to watch you slowly melting under his hands, as he tickles your inner thighs with his fingertip, another arm cupping your breast, twiddling your nipple.. And you can't even return the favor and tease him back, only grasping his knees, whining. All you can do is just rub your hips against his crotch, pulling low groans from your husband.
And he can go like that for a long time, just mocking you with slow drags of his fingers on your labia, with sweet teases in your ears about how quickly you fall for it, fall for his games and teases, get so aroused when he doesn't even do much..
"Hitoya.. stop with your games.." - a whine bursts from your trembling lips as you pinch his leg in anticipation, just to hear another laugh from him:
"How can I? You sound too cute when whining like that.."
"Oh, that's it? You don't want to try to make me sound more.. pleased?" - you chuckle, pressing yourself to him again as you can feel how his dick starts twitching more, rubbing against your back.
"So you give me a challenge now?" - he leaned closer to kiss your temple, before finally moving his hand further, pressing your throbbing clit then caressing your folds.
Closing your eyes, you whine, as the first wave of goosebumps washes over you after the long - awaited touch to your pulsing core. As your husband, he knows by heart all your sensitive spots, and if you decided to goad him like that then now be prepared that he will only abuse these weaknesses, quickly turning you into a squirming moaning mess. Your loud whines and small whimpers under breath lead Hitoya in the right path for your delight, as he changes his pace and angles just to hear more shameful sounds from you.
Tight grasp of your trembling hand on his forearm, shaky hips that keep moving forward his finger with every thrust on your clit, weak voice of yours.. A beautiful masterpiece just for your husband to enjoy. He bit his lips, feeling the aching throb of his dick, as he kept grinding against your spine. His own hand that now slowly sinks inside you, stretching your walls, also starts trembling a little. This nagging urge started burning in his chest more, and Hitoya leaned closer, nibbling on your neck, hiding his groans in your skin.
Your legs spread more on its own when he hit your sweet spot inside, and you can't help but almost scratch his arms with your nails, drowning more and more in pleasure. Tossing back your head, you stop controlling your voice and body, calling your husband's name again and again, so desperate and needy.. Any thoughts fade away as you completely give way to your feelings, almost riding his fingers now, gyrating and bouncing on it.
"Hitoya.. I'm so close.." - your strength was only enough for a few seconds before your words turned into another whine. The pushing knot in your abdomen gets so tight, you can't think about anything else but your burning walls that clench around his hand, sucking his fingers more inside.
Hitoya didn't answer but sped up, thrusting in and out at just the perfect pace, making you lose the last piece of your sanity. His free hand moves to your waist, grasping on it so you would squirm too much when your orgasm hits you. And very on time - just a few moments and you moan loudly, suddenly squeezing your thighs together and locking his arm between it, your walls frozen around his fingers tightly as you came hard, with mind blank and whole body empty as all your feelings concentrate on your womanhood.
You collapse on your husband's chest, panting and whining. His hand didn't leave your body, caressing it more gently now as he helped you calm down, yet you can feel how hard his dick pushing your lower back, and his breath so heavily..
"Mm.. I think you sound pleasant enough right now.." - Hitoya mumbled with a light chuckle before lifting you and turned face to face with him. Now his cock rests against your tummy, hot glans tickling your skin. - "What about let me have some fun too…?"
"Right here?" - you raise your eyebrows with a smirk, hands playfully running on his chest and shoulders as you get lower and touch his hard cock.
"It didn't bothers you few minutes back so what the problem now?" - he murmurs, getting more tense under your touches.
"No, nothing, dear.." - leaning closer, you pull him into a kiss, tickling his lips with your tongue. You feel so refreshed and playful now. - "But it means it's my turn to play with you, no?"
"Oh, and I thought to spoil you a little bit more.." - Hitoya grasps your waist, rubbing his crotch against yours. - "Why don't you just relax and let me take more care of you today, darling..?"

Wait, you wrote BDTA?? Just wanna jump on the bandwagon that my-deer-friend started because I loved that verse <3 The whole series is bookmarked and it definitely left a profound impression. Especially the one written as an article by A. Hamilton, that one felt like such a masterpiece to read.
I remember trying to picture John's art, and the 'tumblr discourse' fic of the series (genius btw). I remember how I broke a little when that poster had seen the picture of John after the attempt and said "how small he looked" 😭 shit i'm shedding some tears rn, that line just gets to me for some reason, as if i can see him
Body horror fascinates me, especially as a trans man, so I seriously adore the concept of this world. This may sound a little nonsensical, but the way you write is evocative of paintbrush strokes on an impressionist painting to me.
I agree wholeheartedly with my-deer-friend; BDTA!John is precious and intriguing, and he pops into my head now and then, just wondering about what his life has been like before the story and what might be in his future.
hi oh my god we are so flattered. yeah that was us!!!
we have so many thoughts about we never really learn-- at one point we even had a whole bunch of lore for the ten deaths of acadia setter, despite the fact that its narrative purpose is exclusively to be Problematic. every tumblr discourse must pull in some very irrelevant dispute about a piece of media. there are so many tiny details in that fic that we think a lot of people overlook but We Know. we know they're there
the way people received this particular fic is interesting too, because without the context of the later work + stuff we haven't even written we can totally see how it reads like john's suicide was mostly about this internet cyberbullying stuff but oh, boy, it was not. it very much was not. after not a perfect son i think most people have figured it out but there was a while there where we were always internally like "oh you don't even know the half of it"
we're obsessed with body horror also-- for us it's not just being trans but also being autistic and plural and just all around weird. love monsters. love fucked up shit. also that's so very kind thank you!! verbal impressionists, that's us, i guess?
(his life before the story: sucked, but in various different ways. his future: no spoilers, because the urge to come back to this series is hitting us. we left the next fic (which is mostly about our unhinged polly headcanons) unfinished, but we're thinking of finally finishing it + going through the hell of putting all the html for it in properly.)
