A metaphorical death at the hands of Magnus stalking him, abducting him, abusing him, and raping him into being a vampire. Then abandoning him as this unknown thing, this being that had to kill to survive? Do y’all ever think about the fact Lestat was good? He was the gentle one, the dreamer, the lover. His brothers abused him. His father abused him. His mother emotionally neglected him. They forced him into living in the monotonous misery that was their life in Auvergne. I've been playing through Pokemon Scarlet for the first time recently and I dont like how I'm enjoying the game...

Like... something must be wrong with me... the game has awful performance, terrible level balancing that borders on stupidity, awful art style and I fucking hate the damn player character with all of my being, awful ui and map...

...yet.... the game is still... actually fun? It's weirdly enjoyable? I should absolutely despise the game yet, it's actually not that bad? There's so many QOL improvements, the gameplay feels faster, there's some difficult moments and the OST is absolutely banging.

I've played through Sonic fucking 06 and its leagues better than that. People who say it's on the same level as Sonic 06 need to replay that game because your mind will quickly change. Trust me.

I can't give this game a rating, I just can't. It's the ultimate mixed bag. I can't even truly call the game bad because it has two things.

1. Meowscarada....

something i will forever be mad about and was just thinking about; people accusing kit connor of “queerbaiting” so much that they forced an 18 y/o to come out

1. straight people can play gay people (ie. eric stonestreet as cameron tucker; modern family) and gay people can play straight people (ie. neil patrick harris as barney stinson; how i met your mother)

2. there are PLENTY of queer characters in media whose actors have unconfirmed sexualities. WHY are you attacking specifically one kid ???

3. “queerbaiting” cannot apply to real people in media. characters in media? sure (ie. kara/lena in supergirl) but go after the network (ie. the CW) not the actors. but a bisexual character played by an actor with an unknown sexuality? NOT queerbaiting.

4. i get there are stereotypes of what a queer person should look like (im guilty of trying to adhere to those) but appearance does not equal sexuality/gender. queer people can ‘look straight’ and straight people can ‘look queer.’

anyways i’m a hs stan and will forever be angry about that whole situation

Have yall never been around kids before? Sure, maybe he looks a little older than the average 13 year old but it’s truly not that insane for a 7th/8th grader to sound like that … like I’m an elementary teacher and sometimes kids go through puberty literally over a weekend 😭 (that’s dramatic but you know what I mean)
